Scout felt her claws dig into Baraz's back, and if his roar was any indication her attack stung quite a bit. She quickly snapped her jaws to the back of his neck, knowing full well that her teeth wouldn't get through the thick mass of fur there and reach his skin. She aimed to get better grip of him now that he was readying to shake her off.
The next thing she noticed, however, was that Baraz was forcefully yanked back down to all fours, and that Kikome was sent flying to the ground some distance away. She didn't dare to let go of Baraz to see how badly Kikome had been hit. Not that it would have mattered much, since Baraz suddenly twisted around and got out of her hold. As he leaped away from her, she pounced backwards, wanting to put some distance between them until she had fully recovered from the sudden loss of grip on him. She fluidly fell into battle stance when she landed, her gaze fixed on Baraz as he smiled at her.
"Nice Fluke attack there from behind, ahhahahahaha Dayum! Kitty has Claws, rawr!"
She raised an eyebrow with an unimpressed look on her face. Seriously, was this the best he could do? She had heard better taunts before, and being called a "kitty" was hardly even insulting. Not to mention that Baraz's first mistake was thinking she needed someone to protect her.
His second mistake was charging straight at her. She remained rooted on the spot, bidding her time with trained patience, until he was too close to change the direction of his attack. She sprang to one side, swiftly dodging his attack just mere seconds before his claws would have connected with her neck. She used her momentum to slash at Baraz's side as she pushed past him, only to twirl around and pounce a few more paces backwards in wait of his next move. All this she did with a blank face, one that was very different from any expression that the meek lioness she had played before might have had. Her training had kicked in, and she would show no emotion until this was over.

As Baraz took the final lunge towards Scout he was surprised how quickly Scout had moved out the way, plus a sharp pain stripped down his side "What the heck? Scout has completely dodged his move and attacked him back all in one move. Baraz lost his footing and tumbled on the ground. He was soon enough back on all 4 paws and looked at scout alot more seriously then before. Her face was emotionless, completley blank, he couldn't read what she was thinking thus didn't know an accurate next move without just guessing her fight style.
"I think someone is hiding something" he said plainly
Baraz repositioned himself and stood up straight in a none threatening manner
"You do not truly know someone until you fight them....."
He took a few steps closer
"I don't like to just ask...."
Without preperation Baraz Lunged at Scout again from standing up right, Using a technique of powerful body movements with minimum preparation distance. He calculated his lunge so he touched ground at the very last moment, twisted his Body and side slammed using the whole length of his body.

Scout kept her gaze focused on Baraz as he recovered from his failed attack and her counter to it. She could tell he was taking her much more seriously now that he had seen a small fraction of what she was capable of. Good. Let him wonder who exactly she was.
"I think someone is hiding something."
The teal lioness calmly blinked her eyes at this, but didn't let her guard down even when Baraz straightened himself and took a non-threatening stance. She didn't think this was over yet, so what was he up to?
"You do not truly know someone until you fight them..... I don't like to just ask...."
The lunge came so fast that Scout knew the instant it began that she would have no time to dodge. She hissed slightly in irritation. She had always hated it when an opponent used this type of technique against her. All she could do was quickly twist her body so that the hit wouldn't immediately immobilize her. Baraz's full weight knocked her backwards, sending her rolling on the ground for a small distance. She quickly scrambled back on her feet, her eyes flashing slightly as her gaze focused on Baraz once more. She flexed her muscles, and thanked her training and quick thinking that had made her shift her position quickly enough to take on Baraz's hit. Her body ached mildly, but it was nothing she couldn't endure.
"A fast one, are you...?" she commented with a toneless voice. "But are you fast enough?"
She charged at him, and yet not quite directly at him. She veered off of a direct collision and swept past him, slashing in his direction with her claws. And even as she had fully passed him, she twirled around and came at him again, using all the speed and quick reflexes that her training had honed to their finest such a long time ago. She knew she couldn't simply stand still and wait for his next movement anymore, not after that last surprise attack of his, and she now wanted to see if he could keep up with her swift strikes and quick dodges or if his apparent speed was simply a part of this one attack of his.

Baraz was astonished that Scout managed to position herself just enough to not take his full blow. This lioness definitely meant serious business and she had the skills to prove that. In some ways this sent a tremble down Baraz's spine, he did not expect to be up against not only one highly skilled fighter, but now 2. He knew the paralyzing move he used on Kikome was going to wear off soon as he only done it a certain way for temporary effect. When that happens he wont be doing a one on one battle with just a single experienced fighter, but 2. He started to feel nervous as he knew he will soon be outnumbered. He was used to being outnumbered by amount of lions on a daily basis, but never outnumbered on skill, he wouldn't be able to use the same trick on Kikome again, he knew Kikome would see that coming.
"A fast one, are you.....?........But are you fast enough ?"[/b]
Baraz's eyes widened... She approached him with lightning speed and at a different angle so he couldn't decide a definite defense. He just made a guess and rolled to one side, he felt her claws just lightly sweep past him so this time he was lucky that he rolled in the right direction. He got back onto all 4 paws and before he could get his bearings Scout was a split second away from him again at full speed, this time he had no chance at all to react and all he could manage to do in time was to close his eyes and lower his head to protect himself from facial or jaw damage, the most important part for survival.

Scout was satisfied when she noticed Baraz's speed would not match hers. He was bracing for her attack, turning his head down to protect his face from her slashing claws. The fool. His face was not her target, and now he would be unable to see what she was going to do.
Like before when she had attacked Jolt, she now too used her weight and speed to tackle her opponent, and instead of trying to grasp onto him tightly, she scrambled over and around him, then pushed him onto his stomach so that his front feet were under him. She then crashed on top of him, using their added body weight to stop him from using his front feet to lift him from the ground. She then brought her jaws to his ear.
"Not fast enough, I see", she said with a low, even voice, not even out of breath after their brief scuffle. "You may have taken out Kikome with that little stunt of yours, but you know what? Pride will get you nowhere. You do not have the skills to match all that rubbish that comes out of your mouth."

Baraz was expecting claws to dig deep into him and cause some damage, though he was relieved and also confused that all he felt was scout pinning him onto the ground and feeling his body collapsing on top of his legs so he wouldn't get up too all that easily. The sudden drop onto the ground winded him a little and gasped for air for a short moment.
"Not fast enough, I see" Baraz scoffed and mimicked her
"You may have taken out Kikome with that little stunt of yours, but you know what? Pride will get you nowhere. You do not have the skills to match all that rubbish that comes out of your mouth."
Baraz controlled his breathing through his nose until it became rhythmic, a smirk appeared across his face. "oooooh but i wasnt prepared for this kind of fight, i have been prepared for Kikome and not some sweet looking lass with weird yet awesome moves , but its fine... i'll get used to them" Baraz let out a strained chuckle from his pressed down body "I am a very fast learner of how people fight....just ask Kikome who i was taught by, and why i was sent to do the job, and why the 'almighty and un-defeatable' warrior of our army has just been outsmarted" Baraz started to cough from the pressure "I admit you got skills and you got me here, i cant move and we can stay here...so get comfortable darlin' " He snorted "Believe this though, you cannot kill me like this, wrong side of the neck my lovely, and the moment you maneuver your body to try to, i can easily get out" Baraz sarcastically purred "I would much prefer you get comfortable, ha!"

Scout chuckled at Baraz's words, then leaned her head just a bit closer to his ear with a small smirk. "Wrong again, you foolish lion... Who said I was going for your neck?"
As soon as the words had left her mouth, the teal lioness' teeth snapped around Baraz's left ear. With a quick tightening of her jaws and a jerk of her head, she tore off a good portion of the ear. Taking advantage of the moment, she pounced off of Baraz and put a good distance between herself the lion. Once there, she spat out what remained of his ear and simply looked at him with an emotionless stare.
"That is a warning. Speak any more words, move any closer to me or Kikome, and you will lose more than just your precious ear."
Her emotionless stare turned into one of disgust. "Get out of my sight. NOW!"

"Wrong again, you foolish lion... Who said I was going for your neck?" Baraz's eyes once again widened and attempted to struggle free just for chance, but it was too late, he felt her jaws sink into his ear and feel part of it get torn off. He roared in pain and tried to get up again and this time he was successful as Scout had jumped off.
Baraz jumped back onto his paws immediately and was about to pounce, that was until he stared into her emotionless gaze. Breathing heavily
"That is a warning. Speak any more words, move any closer to me or Kikome, and you will lose more than just your precious ear."
Baraz's whole expression and personality suddenly snapped into that of his proper fighting nature, this was serious business and his jonb will now be alot harder, and words from an old tutor sprang to mind....."No more Antics"
He narrowed his eyes onto Scout, and looked at her with also an emotionless stare "Here is my warning....i will speak more words, because i will get closer to you and Kikome, and you will loose more then your own precious Life"
Without another thing done or said, Baraz ran off and soon went out of sight.
The blackness started to gain some colour, it slowly blended into blurred images. He could hear muffled conversation but couldnt quite make any sense of it. Kikome tried to move but his body hadn't snapped out of it yet, but he could move his mouth, He shouted for scout in almost desperation.....he almost felt scared in what has happened to him. His heartbeat rose , he could feel it pounding in his chest. He clenched his eyes shut and sounded a loud desperate roar. Suddenly his legs flinched into motion again and he could feel them moving. His mind was confused and he tried to stand up, he opened his eyes and his vision had started to clear and he could see scout by herself and unharmed. A wave of relief passed through him and he soon collapsed back down again. He tried to calm himself down by breathing heavily with his eyes tight shut. Kikome soon pleaded something he never thought he would ever to. ".......Help" He growled

When Baraz finally got up, he was finally looking at her with the full seriousness that anyone going against her should. For a moment he had looked like he wanted to pounce, and good for him that he didn't for she had meant every word she had just said to him.
"Here is my warning....i will speak more words, because i will get closer to you and Kikome, and you will loose more then your own precious Life"
Scout frowned at Baraz's words when he turned tail and ran. How lovely. One more fool to come after her. Well, after them, really, seeing as how he was already after Kikome. And what had he meant anyway when he had said she would lose more than her life? Did he think there was something between herself and Kikome? They had only just met the previous day, and so Baraz's threat sounded somewhat ridiculous to her.
Her musings were interrupted when Kikome woke up from the state Baraz had put him in. The teal lioness closed her eyes momentarily, still slightly too much taken over by her fighting instincts to actually take notice of the other lion. She breathed in and out steadily for a moment, then finally relaxed her stance and turned to look at Kikome.
".......Help"
She flinched, wishing her riled up instincts had allowed her to take notice of Kikome earlier. Oh well, she couldn't help being what she was even though she wished otherwise. She softly padded to Kikome's side and gently touched his shoulder with her paw as a sign of comfort.
"I'm here, Kikome", she said softly, wishing she knew how to help him. "Baraz is gone, and if he's smart he won't be coming back any time soon."

Kikome Controlled his breathing and tried to calm himself, he was experiencing alot of feelings at the moment, guilt, anger, pain. He felt a paw touch his shoulder, he flinched. I'm here, Kikome.....Baraz is gone, and if he's smart he won't be coming back any time soon Everything that was going on right this moment Kikome was never used to. He had always be very self dependant, strong and he was the one that was normally comforting others in their time of need, now after many years it was his turn. He wanted to refuse any help as he always thought himself to be the one at the top who would take care of others, but here he was and he couldnt. He decided to swallow up his pride and embarrassment and let Scout continue. He nodded in response o what Scout just said. Kikome had been outsmarted before but never like this, he was currently just learning and experimenting the move Baraz had pulled, but it seems Baraz had perfected it already. Kikome realised that the world is forever changing, lions get smarter and the combat gets more advanced and he has been away from it all, been kept out the loop for quite a while. And This time scout managed to fend Baraz off. Was this a sign that his time was getting on ?
Kikome's head started to clear. He shook it of any thoughts. He will never give into any of it. He opened his eyes and let them adjust to the light. A confident smile appeared on his muzzle "Help Me Up..."

Scout flattened her ears uncertainly when Kikome flinched at her touch, but she refused to retreat and leave him be. She knew doing so would not help matters at all, and instead she remained where she was, still gently touching Kikome's shoulder with her paw. She saw him nod as a response to her words, and was relieved. It took a while longer before he opened his eyes again, and when he smiled confidently she couldn't help but chuckle lightly.
"Help Me Up..."
She smiled faintly and lowered herself down to his level so that he could use her as a support to get up. "Do you need anything else?" she asked as she helped him get up. "If there's anything I can do, just tell me, OK?"

Kikome continued to smile as Scout came down to his level, he lifted his front paws over her shoulders. "Do you need anything else?.....If there's anything I can do, Just tell me, OK" Kikome felt the weight go back onto his legs as scout helped him back up onto them, they trembled a little to begin with but quickly felt stable. "Well im still kinda hungry" He chuckled quietly. Kikome stared into Scouts eyes with his confident smile "I will most certainly will let you know" he reassured Kikome's smile turned warmer, he lowered his head a little, almost being shy in a way "Thankyou..."
Kikome staggered a few steps back and slowly stretched out his body in particular ways to loosen his muscles. He squinted his eyes and expression turned flat as the weird feeling rushed through his body as he felt more in control. After he finished he gave his body a quick shake. "Lucky i learnt how to recover quicker" he chuckled His warm smile returned towards Scout "Good acting earlier by the way, and seeing Baraz is no longer here...good fight" He winked

"Well im still kinda hungry."
Scout chuckled lightly and slowly shook her head in amusement, then smiled when Kikome thanked her. "No problem."
She watched as Kikome finished recovering from Baraz's attack, ready to step in and help if needed. Luckily enough Kikome managed fine on his own, and she was grateful that Baraz had only managed to knock him out instead of doing more severe damage.
"Good acting earlier by the way, and seeing Baraz is no longer here...good fight"
"Yeah, sorry about that", she apologized with a sheepish smile. "I wasn't sure what he was capable of, and I hate going headlong into battle."
Her smile faded off and she looked away. Looking back, perhaps she shouldn't have deceived Baraz as she had. Perhaps there would have been something else she could have done, so that she wouldn't have had to make Kikome believe she had betrayed him. Then again, what was done was done, and she couldn't go back and change it now.
Shaking her head again, she let out a small sigh. "Jolt ran off when Baraz appeared. I don't think he's going to be coming back anytime soon, if ever. The zebra's still there, and you really should eat something before we get out of here."
She glanced at Kikome with a slightly sad expression before looking away again. "I'll keep watch, just in case."

Kikome didnt reply to scout until she has finished everything she wanted to say, she didnt look too proud of her actions and Kikome could understand why. Kikome keeping quiet gave him the time to pick the right words to say. As Scout looked away Kikome slowly approached and brushed up next to her, he didnt look at her, he just stared into the same direction. "If a lion had no idea of your own abilities then i would of done the same, What you done was the best thing so dont feel guilty. I know Baraz...quite well so i can guess how he approached and talked to you. If you immediatley came across hostile things could of been a bit different, take me for example" he chuckled as to be mocking himself "Nothing throws Baraz off more then a good looking Lioness too...." he continued to chuckle to lighten the mood Kikome suddenly stopped chuckling and realised his slip, his eyes widened a little. He cleared his throat and casually turned around. "Well i guess i best eat some of that Zebra, think i'll turn my back on my Morals just this once, dont think i'll last much longer if i carried on the way i did" Kikome briskley walked off but not trying to seem too rushed. He spotted the Zebra and his stomach immediatley kicked into complaining. He lay down next to the carcass and happily started tearing into the flesh, taking big chunks at a time. The feeling of having good meal of this size felt very good indeed.

Scout managed a small smile when Kikome reassured her that what she had done was the right thing. Still, she hated how she had been forced to behave like that. Oh well, at least she wouldn't have to do that again. It wouldn't work on Baraz a second time.
"Nothing throws Baraz off more then a good looking Lioness too...."
Scout blinked, suddenly brought back from her musings. Her eyes widened slightly when the words sank in, and she noticed Kikome had gone silent and had apparently also realized what had slipped from him. She looked after him with a slightly stunned expression when he headed off towards the zebra, then realized she was supposed to be keeping watch while he ate and quickly trailed after him. When she caught up Kikome was already tearing into the carcass, and she swiftly pounced on the same rock where Jolt had rested earlier. Unlike the leopard, however, the teal lioness refused to let her mind wander and she firmly kept her face blank and her senses fixed on the surroundings. She would let nothing surprise her now, and as soon as Kikome was done they would have to figure out where to go next.

Kikome continued to eat, he hadnt had a decent meal for ages, normally it has been small prey or he had top share it with several other pride members he was helping. He noticed scout has taken the position of lookout while he ate, he paused and smiled faintly to himself because of her good gesture although he still felt awkward what he said earlier. He did mean it but he never anticipated it to just...come out like that. He dug his muzzle back into the zebra and continued to eat. The satisfaction of him starting to feel his stomach get full was very nice indeed. After a while when he couldn't eat anymore he rolled onto his back in total relaxation. He glanced over at Scout who was still patiently keeping watch. The more time Kikome has spent with scout the more time he respected her Company.
He didn't want to get up after such a nice meal but he and Scout knew they couldn't stay around forever, Baraz would be going back to get backup. Since the backup would have to be quite particular due to the Skills he was up against he knew it would take Baraz some time, but this was even a better excuse to get a head start. Kikome groaned and rolled onto his paws and padded up to Scout. He started to get a bit hesitant to speak to her but it soon passed.
"So...umm. Whats the plan ? Carry onwards ?"

"So...umm. Whats the plan ? Carry onwards ?"
Scout's ear flicked in Kikome's direction when he spoke, and she let out a small sigh. "That'd be the smart thing to do. I doubt Baraz is returning soon, and I know for a fact that those from my old pride still after me will take a few days before they find Chocoro's body. I'd love to be out of this area before that happens."
She stood up and stretched, flexing her muscles to rid herself of what tension still remained from her encounter with Baraz. She then pounced off the rock and turned to face Kikome with a small, friendly smile, clearly eager to get going. "Any preference on which direction we shall go?"

Kikome nodded in agreement to what Scout mentioned about getting out the Area.
"Any preference on which direction we shall go?"
Kikome motioned where he walked when he attempted to hunt for himself. "There was some nice thick bushes that i went into that could conceal our tracks for a bit, the river also runs down that way so we could cross over it when we have gotten through the bushes to conceal our tracks even more, its a start" He said now a bit more confident.

Scout nodded in agreement, waiting for Kikome to begin showing the way towards the bushes.

Kikome's raised a brow at what she just said but at the same time motioned her to start walking with him "oh ? I never really noticed that, heh. The river isnt far away so you can have a wash while we cross if that's ok ?" Kikome focused on her face and seen the blood around her muzzle "Looks like you shown him who is better, what did you do if i may ask ?" Kikome continued to walk towards the bushed area

Scout chuckled as a mischievous smirk found its way to her lips. "Oh you know... He talks too much, was making my ears ache just listening. He may find it more difficult to hear properly himself from now on."
Her smirk faded, and she looked more serious once again. "It's... A warning of sorts, something that one of my mentors taught us to do until it became a habit. Next time he won't be so lucky as to walk off missing only an ear."

"Oh you know... He talks too much, was making my ears ache just listening. He may find it more difficult to hear properly himself from now on." Kikome Chuckled at Scout's Remark "It's... A warning of sorts, something that one of my mentors taught us to do until it became a habit. Next time he won't be so lucky as to walk off missing only an ear." Kikome nodded slowly "Some of the old advice is always the most wisest. A wound will heal with possible just a scar. Biting an ear....that wont grow back and its something that will affect them on a daily basis as a reminder" He said plainly Kikome reached the start of the bushes and turned his head, facing towards scout. With a serious expression yet a faint smile. "Seeing your actions over the last couple of days, seems like you were well trained. Good thing we decided to allies, heh. Plus i like my own ears intact" He laughed. Kikome motioned towards the Bushes "Just through here, shall we ?"

Scout chuckled at Kikome's remark. She agreed with him. It had indeed so far been a very good decision to team up. Who knows what would have happened if they had not gotten over their initial distrust of each other.
"Just through here, shall we ?"
She nodded and entered the bushes, doing her best to disturb the vegetation as little as possible so that she wouldn't leave a clear path for their possible pursuers to follow.

Kikome started to make his way through the bushes, looking back now and then to see if she was still ok. He knew that if Scout lost sight of him she could easily find him and could take care of herself , but it was just a habit of sorts.
The bushes roughly ran alongside the river so it was easy to keep their bearings by constantly hearing the rushing water nearby. After quite some time the bushes became lower and thinner until eventually they cleared. Kikome changed direction and headed towards the sound of the river. Few moment past and he approached the river bank and sat by the side, waiting to scout to catch up

When Scout emerged from the bushes after Kikome, she paused for a moment, glancing over her shoulder at the thick vegetation. She didn't notice a clear path left by either of them, and even if a few of the plants were somewhat out of place, by the time their pursuers would track them down the plants would have recovered enough to hide their trails from a quick glance. She frowned faintly. It would have to do.
Turning towards the sound of river, the teal lioness trailed after Kikome, finding him sitting there and waiting for her. She stopped to stand next to him, looking at the current. It didn't seem as swift as it had been where she and Kikome had first gone to the river earlier that morning, and as such crossing it would not be very difficult. With a faint smile, she walked to the water and crouched down to lap up some of the water. When she was done with her quick drink, she brushed her muzzle with her paw, getting rid of as much of the blood stuck on her fur as she could.
It took her a while, but eventually her face was clean again, and she breathed out a relieved sigh before turning to look at Kikome over her shoulder. A thought formed in her mind, and she smirked faintly.
"Crossing a river is such a tedious task", she remarked with a slightly playful tone. "Up for a small race?"

Kikome kept sat down as scout went past him and started to lap up some water, she then continued to wash her muzzle. Kikome raised his brow and returned her Smirk with a smile, he had a feeling she was planning something.
"Crossing a river is such a tedious task",............"Up for a small race?"
Kikome's smile soon turned into a smirk and he soon took a few steps towards the water and stood next to her.
"hmmmmm, you are right, lets make this crossing an interesting one " he said playfully back
Kikome leant down and took a few laps of water.
"Oh before we start, i like to be on the other side....its for luck, i remember doing it as a cub." he said playfully
As he walked around Scout he stopped for a split second and with no warning he pushed her from behind into the water. He then Pounced over her and landed with a splash
"I deserve a head start because i said so, ha...ha...ha" He shouted playfully

Scout was smirking at Kikome when he came to stand next to her, and she honestly wasn't expecting him to do what he did. With wide eyes and a small, surprised squeak, she fell face first into the river, and spluttered when she finally surfaced again.
"I deserve a head start because i said so, ha...ha...ha"
She narrowed her eyes at Kikome's now retreating form. "Oh no you don't!" The teal lioness muttered with a grin to herself and began swimming after the other lion. It'd be difficult to bypass him, but she wasn't entirely out of options on what to do. Kicking the water furiously as she swam, she slowly began to catch up on Kikome, until she was close enough for what she was planning. With a wide grin, and a few more furious kicks, she was close enough to open her mouth and playfully latch onto Kikome's tail. She snickered loudly as she slowed down her own swimming speed and basically simply drifted forward only because Kikome was pulling her with him.

Kikome continued to have a cheeky grin on his face as he kicked as hard as he could to get across first, even though he had a head start he wasnt confident that he would definatley win. He also had a bellyfull of food which didnt help him for the race. He could hear scout approach closer and closer which made him playfully feel more competitive. "Oh....no you dont" he growled teasingly He then suddenly felt a tug on his tail and his momentum slowed down. Scout had latched onto his tail and he was now helping her cross. "Oh you did just not....thats not fair" he complained jokingley Kikome rolled onto his back for a moment and kicked the water with his hind legs, splashing her face "Sorry, you missed a spot, just helping" he laughed Kikome rolled back around carried on swimming with scout in tow. A warm smile shone across his muzzle, he didnt want to admit it but he found it kind of sweet. He stopped racing hard and started to just rhythmically swim, enjoying the feeling of the cool fresh water on his pelt which was very nice after such a scuffle with Baraz, and even more so for Scout he assumed. Kikome continued to play along with Scouts scheme and carried on swimming. "You got me" He chuckled

"Oh you did just not....thats not fair."
Scout grinned, as much as she could with Kikome's tail still in her mouth. She almost let go when he splashed water on her face, the urge to laugh out loud at that was so strong. But she resisted the urge to let go and merely chuckled, feeling strangely happy with all this playfulness that had taken over her. When Kikome slowed down, she didn't try to get past him and simply matched her swimming speed with his. The cool water felt strangely relaxing, even after weeks of nearly continuous rain. Perhaps it was the stress from the battle with Baraz that made the water feel so calming now, and though she might regret swimming in the cold water later on for now she didn't really care.
"You got me."
Scout smiled, then let go of Kikome's tail and sped up a little so that she was swimming beside him, all thoughts of racing him forgotten. "Your own fault for pushing me into water and then jumping off ahead of me."

Kikome felt his tail be released, and he let out a little chuckle. He soon seen Scout swim up beside him "Your own fault for pushing me into the water and then jumping off ahead of me
Kikome turned his head momentarlity with close eyes and let out a smug smile, followed by a playfull evil chuckle
"Its always good to have spontaneous moments of fun.....one thing i haven't done for a very long time" Kikome pondered with self realisation
It was true, Kikome hadn't had actual fun for a very long time, it dawned on him as quite a strange feeling, but it just felt...right, and he liked it. He opened his eyes looking at scout and gave a playfull nudge with his shoulder.
"I would of won without the head start anyway"he sarcasticly remarked with a grin.
