Alone? (Public: Open to All!)

Hey everyone! Anyone is allowed to join this RP if they so choose. The rules for this RP are that there are only OC's permitted and we will be allowing the use of fantasy/sci-fi abilities. I will be using Sola for this RP (before reuniting with her father that is). If anyone joining could just put a link to their character in an OOC section of their post, that would be awesome!

Sola slowly shuffled to the small water hole that reflected the last of the sun's light as it set and touched her mouth to it as she began to quench her intense thirst. Her shaky legs could barely hold her after all the traveling she had done that day, and her grumbling stomach didn't help her fatigue much either. I guess I can rest here for the night she thought as she continued to fight her dehydration, but I need to find something to eat before I starve... After some time, she felt close to bursting from the water she had drank and skulked over to a bed of brush that grew a few feet from the water. With a loud thump and ruffling she allowed her body to give into its desires and collapse onto the only comfort she had as her eyes slammed shut.

Before she fell asleep though a small gust of wind carried a familiar scent to her nose, one that she knew far too well. She quickly stood to see the glowing eyes of a lion she had thought she outran piercing her with the reflections of the nearly set sun. "Hello there Sola" the lion said before scoffing as one of Sola's legs failed her and forced her to clumsily regain her balance, "it seems you aren't doing too well... I suppose it's about time that I repaid you for your theft." Sola stood her ground even though she knew she couldn't fight him - he was too strong and she was too weak - but she would not die without a fight. "That is if you can!" she shouted as she let out a mediocre roar that rang in the silence of the twilight.

Shetani had been watching the wearied lioness approach her waterhole, and the other one following her. She thought about warning the first lioness, but the night was about to begin. In less than an hour she'd lose her powers. Already she felt maintaining her form hard. But when the lion confronted the lioness, she knew she didn't really have a choice. She gritted her teeth and whispered, "Ok, body. Don't let me down now..." Then changed form... into a giant of a lion, easily twice the height of the tallest natural lion.

With this form she stepped out of the shadows and said in a deep, booming voice, "Halt. Who trespasses on my territory?"

The deep purple maned, and oddly coloured brute flew above the clouds, the dark was peace to him, no one could seem him, and nobody cared. He flew through the clouds, a smile upon his face, ducking and diving, and just enjoying the night too its full. As he was continuing his flight, he heard a, well, not the best roar ever, but it was still a roar in distress. Swooping down, he landed in front of a cave, where a large male was confronting a weak female.

Spreading his wings wide, to make him look bigger and stronger, the multi-coloured brute roared at the male, bearing both teeth and claws. "I suggest you halt, you clearly have an advantage against her, so don`t bother trying to hurt her." He bellows. He knew neither of these lions or what they were capable of, but one thing he coulden`t stand for was this.

Sola froze as the gargantuan lion walked behind her attacker and her ears bent back in a cowardly stare. She had never seen a lion so large in her life and she truly believed it to be her end. As the voice of the massive creature boomed out across the savanna, the rogue turned in anger towards such a question. Listen, you don't need to know-" he began to say before his sentence trailed off upon seeing the hulking creature that posed the question.

Just then Sola heard something landing behind her and slowly turned to find another unususual lion who's wings shined briliantly in the limited light. Upon his strong words of protection she quickly ducked behind him, her inner child now obvious from the tail tucked between her legs.

Enzi chuckled softly, yet barely audibly. "Come, we must get out of here whilst these two idiots argue. I shall hide thee. Quickly, hop on my back, and thou shall be safe." He says, crouching slightly, his wings still spread. He wasen`t as strong as those brutes, but he could certainly carry her.

"You shall be safe with me, i promise thee."

Sola was both confused and comforted by the archaic fashion in which the winged lion spoke. With no other option but to trust the crystal-studded feline she complied with his request, climbing up onto his back before plopping down in exhaustion. "Thank you..." she managed to utter with a weak voice once she was safe - hopefully - on the creature's back.

Shetani gritted her teeth, fighting to maintain her form. When the huge creature swooped down and offered assistance she bellowed, "Leave, all of you!", glaring particularly at the male which had harassed the female.

"Okay, hold on then." He says, charging out of the cave and flying into the air. Not as high as usual, but meh, somewhat a fair distance from the ground. Eventually he found a place, a cave next to a tree. Perfect. He swoops down, and lands. "You can get off now. You should be alright here." He speaks, before flying up and landing in the tree, crossing his front paws.

Sola slowly walks off the stranger's back and watches as he flies into the nearby tree and rests there. "...thank you" she finally says, the gesture being both awkward and forced due to her lack of experience with thanking anyone. With shuffling steps of fatigue she moves into the nearby cave and flops onto her side, finally allowing herself to sleep - at least for a little bit.

Shetani ran. Already her form was dribbling away. Her legs were becoming shorter and chubbier, her head smaller, her body wider. She ran as far from the other lions as she could, going slower as the time ticked by, until she was barely moving. She knew of a cave nearby and headed towards it, but didn't make it before her belly was too big to drag over the earth. "Curse me and my kind streak," she said, breathless and exhausted. She flopped down in the middle of the earth, resigning herself to spend the night in the wilderness, at the mercy of whatever lurked in the darkness.
