New Roleplay kicking off. Hope it'll work out.

Resume of main plot: Sorry, only got a long version, I wanted to be thorough.

Kanuk, a now rogue lion is being hunted down by his previous pride as a scapegoat. They think he murdered the royal family of the lakeside pride. Two foul lion brothers he knew since cub hood blackmailed him. Kanuk knew that those two lions meant something by their foreshadowing threats and constant bullying him, but he never thought they would go up to killing his family, the royal family. If they were power hungry, it wasn't noticeable and now they are both ruling, sharing the power with each other, blaming Kanuk for the act. He ran away, to survive and he wouldn't have if his childhood friend didn't ''accidentally'' miss Kanuk when she could have gotten him.

Kanuk lives as a rogue for a while and meets some new friends and odd faces. He travels far and wide (and could go through the pride lands during Kovu's reign) eventually meeting a mysterious lioness after an accident while hunting. They fall in love and she brings him to her pride, the southwestern ocean pride.

He is accepted in the southwest ocean pride and lives there for 6 months. But destiny knocked at his door. his childhood friend whom he did not recognize at first has come back. She want's him to come back and lead the pride in the place of the power hungry lions because they are wounded after many wars that they have declared and are losing. She needs Kanuk to solve the conflicts in whatever ways possible but first he has to prove that the murderer of the old royal family isn't him. Oh and the childhood friend starts to love Kanuk making for a vicious love triangle between Kanuk, the childhodd friend and the mysterious lioness.

(Reminder: Kanuk is royal blood, a secret he keeps to himself and most trusted friend + companions. Whoever was there in his cub-hood knows this too. I'm totally not giving you ideas of ways to backstab my character...)

This is where we pick up from.

Roles: First come first serve so be quick! Give them names too if you take a character, these are all very vague as to naming and everything because they are all OC slots! I will rename the role to the name you choose for that character. Characters in colour have been taken, also I gave everyone different colurs so you can easily see what character you have.

Additional Notes/ Requests:
- Limit the one liners please, It will be understandable once in a while but don't over do it please this is a public RP so it moves a little slower. We will need larger posts to move along as a consequence...
- We should start when the main character slots have been filled or at least partially. But please do bring in your own characters too. Let's go large scale for this.
- If you need an event to move along, feel free to create NPC characters. Just tell me so I can list them in case they come back.
-The OCs you bring in will be considered as main characters.
- I think it would be best if character max is 2.
- I may seem like I am installing rules for this one. It's not my goal ok? Just placing recommendations and saying how I envision this, if you have any problem tell me. The only thing that I would consider somewhat of a rule tough is that this is 3rd person exclusively. It makes it esier in large scale things like I hope this will become.

I'm interested in RPing here but not sure what to do. What's e role of the king of the south west ocean pride? Do you see him having a big involvement in the story?

Hypercube: Yes I would rather if you can, I imagined them finishing off each others sentences and such but feel free to do whatever you want with them! I don't want this roleplay to turn in a fanfic either.In fact please do reimagine them how you see fit, it's the whole reason these are all OC slots, so you can imagine the characters how you want.

The blowing wind carried the cold of the night, bristling against Kanuk's fur. The dark hours were the ones he loved the most. It made it easy to run off and live like the rogue he was for most of his life, to escape the pressures of his past and of pride life even if it was for just a few hours. Most of the lionesses in his new pride didn't accept him yet and gaining the trust of an entire pride is easier said than done. He couldn't wait to see his friend Alebrylla, the one lion in the world he could trust unconditionally. It was still a secret to everyne that Kanuk ran off unnoticed at night and he wasn't about to tell. Even with the blowing winds however, the grass had been moving an awful lot, particularly near him. ''Probably just a cheetah, fearing being discovered like myself'' Kanuk thought, without noticing that the area was much bigger than any cheetah he had seen.

Ruby continued her way through the trees, leaping and stumbling and climbing when necessary, making sure to stay close to Alebrylla but far enough that he wouldn't notice her, unless he picked up her scent. The fact she had cheetah blood in her helped as she followed him by skirting up the trees and jumping from thick branch to thick branch, the many years of playing games and hiding from the 'Kings' of her Pride had given her time to hone in on a few of her skills. And this was by far her favourite.

After a while she lost track of Alebrylla and so after a few moments of consideration she continued skirting the trees heading as far north as she could. When she finally leaped over a particularly large tree and landed on the middle branch a scent that she though she would never know again caught her attention. Careful as to not make a sound, she shuffled along the branch until she reached the edge and looked down, what she saw made her almost fall. A surprised cry crossed her lips and she hurried to hide herself in case she'd been mistaken. But she knew deep down it wasn't possible, she'd always recognise the lion before her. And against her will she breathed his name so quietly it was almost inaudible, even to her own ears. "Kanuk..."

[Jetstar]

"Kanuk?..." Alebrylla wanted to call out but couldnt run the risk of being caught outside after curfew.
"Kanuk?..." he continued to whisper into the black of night "I swear to the skies im going to kill him once i get a hold of him, leaving me out here like this" he whined, staying low to the grass.
He had a normal build for a lion his age, maybe a bit taller, and his muscles showed. He had light blue eyes that were brought to stand out by the contrast of the black fur hugging the rimsof his eyelids, making it look like eyeliner. The black fur sat on his brown coat which encased his entire body except for his mane, which was a shade or two darker and the rims of his ears, which were the same humble shade his mane was. He had perculier ears, almost lynx like, more pointy than a normal lion.
These ears in question suddenly lifted as his head snapped around "Is someone there?" he asked as the trees by him russled. His rogue instints kicked in and he fled. He layed down by a large tree he found and sighed "I hate it when he leaves me alone"

(I introduce a new NPC in here, Karstic)

Having waited for Alebrylla for at least an hour, Kanuk put his head down, ''I think he may have lost me, not again...'' Again was the right way to put it, being a very fast lion despite his large build, it was very easy to outrun his friend. Only one lioness in his new pride could outrun him, Karstic and she took much pride in being better than the adopted outsider he was. What started as an undying rivalry turned into a constant friendly competition. She was the only other lioness in the pride after Faith that he could call a friend, the others barely acknowledged his presence.
Kanuk drifted in deep slumber after waiting for Alebrylla, only to wake up with a rising sun in his face. The reflex was instant, a leap and a run towards the den. If he was discovered it would be the end of him, Kanuk wasn't allowed outside of the den outside of a specific curfew. a curfew that was strictly enforced.

After a few minutes of uninterrupted running, Kanuk came to a halt. He had made it with everyone still in deep slumber. All that needed to be done was wait until he wasn't panting anymore, go back to his place and fake his sleep which he had plenty off out in the fields. He made it a point to never get in such a situation anymore. The great kings saved him this time but it couldn't happen again. Kanuk however noticed some shadows bleeding in the lit up cave serving for a den.

(OOC: I will bring my two characters into this when you end up heading off to the other pride with Ruby, it wouldn't make much sense otherwise =P)

[Jetstar]

Alebrylla woke with a jolt. The sun growing, swelling in the morning sky "No no no no no" He started as he got up and darted off towards the den. The sun was still only low in the sky, but it foretold a bright day of adventure with its beams of gold. Alebrylla got so involved looking at it, he almost ran straight into the outer wall of the cave den. He peaked his head inside to see that a few lionesses and lions were quietly conversing with each other and Alebrylla would have to be extremmly quiet if he were to get away with this. Luckily for him, as speed was Kanuk's ally, stealth was his albeit his build. He practically crawled into the cave and towards Kanuk. He stood over him for a few seconds, letting his shadow be cast over Kanuk in his fake sleep.
"Im going to kill you" he fake growled. With a joke battle cry, forgetting that anyone else was there with them, he began play swatting Kanuk albeit agressivly "Wake up you jerk!" he laughed, bitting his ear and dragging him by it for a few inchs, then continuing to swat him.

''A jerk?!'' Kanuk tried to sound as surprised as it was possible for him then rolled over to avoid one of Alebrylla's paws with a huge grin saying ''Oh, you wound me with your cold, cruel words!'' Sitting up and yawning, he continued trying to remind his friend that whatever they would say could be used against them ''what is it? Didn't like the prank I set up for you? I would like to gather whatever remains.'' an incentive to invite his friend to continue the conversation outside of vocal range. Kanuk hoped that his friend Ale would understand. If he didn't, the only other lioness that could bail him out was Faith and he didn't see her around him surprisingly...

[Ruby_Fehu]

Ruby didn't even realise she'd fallen asleep until she felt the sun beating on her back. She stirred slightly and woke up with a low moan, opening her eyes she blinked sleepily. Once she got her bearings she sent her red gaze through a small gap in the trees and allowed the disappointment to cross her face. With a sigh she stood up and jumped down from the branch and landed agilely on the ground, her tail flicking side to side contently. She was about to follow Kanuk's scent when a low snarl behind her made her stop and spin on the spot, only to come face to face with a tawny lioness. Instinctively Ruby bared her own teeth and snarled back at the lioness before her.

"Who are you? What are you doing here?" The lioness demanded.

"None of your business."

"You better tell me or I'll take you back to my Pride and they'll make you talk."

"I wish them good luck." Ruby replied coolly.

Before Ruby could move the lioness dived at her knocking her to the ground, she grabbed Ruby's scruff, none to gently and pulled her to stand. "Walk." The lioness demanded and with a scowl Ruby obeyed.

Faith marched Ruby to the cave where pride members were starting to share, she glanced towards Kanuk and saw in surprise that there was another lion, another unfamiliar feline for that matter. Sat talking to him. Faith rested her gaze on Kanuk, almost asking him to help her with Ruby.

[Jetstar]

Ale snarled at Kanuk "You're lucky were in company" he bit the air then laughed before turning to find a familure face at the mouth of the cave "Speaking of company, your lioness is here" he turned to him, stuck his tongue out the skipped over to Faith.
"Why hello madam, how do you do?" he kiddingly bowed and spoke in a fake royal accent, "You may not know who i am but i definitly know who you are and now that i can see you instead of just being told about you, i can see why Kanuk simply cannot be silenced, he speaks an infinate about your beauty" he bowed once more, cocking his head towards Kanuk and sending him the most controversial wink in the history of winks.
"Oh the stories i could tell" he mouthed at him

Upon the sight of the red pelt in front of Faith, Kanuk took no more notice of any of his friends, his jaw droping as if the muscles were now non-existant. Ale seemed to have said something but all he heard was a buzz. It was the same lioness he knew in his cub-hood, the same that provoked an ''accident'' so he could run away. It was Ruby, his long lost friend. Could it really be that she even remembered him? Taking step after step towards this wanderer Kanuk thought he would never see again, he let his head drop next to her's, all pride members visibly scanning him to know what was going on.

''Ruby?'' He let out on a shocked but soft tone, '' Is it really you, after all these years?''

[Ruby_Fehu]

Faith quirked an amused eyebrow at her best friends companion before smiling sweetly, "The pleasure is all mine." She purred playfully. Before snapping her gaze to Kanuk and narrowing her eyes, "You know this spy?" Faith demanded.

"Spy?" Ruby repeated letting out a cold laugh, "As if I'm a spy. I was looking for help." She then turned to Kanuk who whispered her name in her ear and she dipped her head in a slight nod, "Hello my friend" She said in a low voice, holding her own lips near his ears. "You've certainly changed." She continued, her tone complimentary. "Can I speak to you, you might be exactly who I need." She pulled herself away from him and smirked, she knew she'd have changed to him. The once chubby cub he knew was now a slender young feline and she took no shame in admitting that she'd certainly lost a load of weight when she reached her teen years.

[Jetstar]

"Kanuk?..." Ale asked as Kanuk walked by not even glancing or responding to his comment "Heellooo?..." he snapped to Faith " Am I missing something?" he asked (sorry for the length, it's nearly one here and im wrecked and I wanted to have some input)

Kanuk face lit up with happiness upon the words ''hello my friend'' but it quickly faded to disapointement, almost sadness when Kanuk realised that Ruby wasn't there to be with him as friends, but more along the lines of business. Kanuk raised his head and turned to face Faith but restrained himself from moving after. He now just wanted to hug his friend and let the sadness of losing her out but Kanuk couldn't do so. Not here, in front of Faith, she might take it the wrong way with all the advances they made on each other in the past few months.

''Faith, Ale, this is...      ...Ruby. A friend from a while back. I-I'm sorry, I need some time for myself, I'll meet up with all of you later.'' he announced with a clearly disturbed look printed on his face

Kanuk leapt out of the den and headed towards the tree he fell asleep by the night before, there was something special about that place for him, he even met Faith there. The turmoil of emotions was just too much for Kanuk right now, he had to be alone for a bit and process all this new information.

[Ruby_Fehu]

Ruby took the moment of Faith's distraction to yank away and with a single cold look she hurried after Kanuk. She followed him until he finally sat down and carefully she approached him, sitting down beside him albeit a bit hesitantly. She was silent for a few moments for smiling up at the tree. "I must have really changed. You didn't even recognise my scent. I was up in that tree all night." She then turned to him and took on a more serious tone. "I thought our plan hadn't been enough to give you a chance to escape. I thought the worst." She admitted and her eyes began to get glassy with unshed tears. "I've missed you so much. I've wanted to be with my best friend for so long. But it looks like you've moved on." She said the words with bitterness, referring to his obvious friendship with Faith, the hybrid had noticed the looks Faith had kept giving him when the four were talking together and it didn't take a genius to understand. "I've wanted to be with my friend for so long." She amended, lowering her head slightly. "You seem to have a comfortable life in this pride though. That's a good sign." She was overjoyed that she'd found Kanuk again, but the fact he seemed upset to see her had hit her hard. "I can leave this Pride if you like? Travel back to my home. You won't ever have to see me again. You just need to ask." She then stared at him with her fiery coloured eyes, blinking away the tears in her eyes. "I'd understand."

Faith growled a little when Ruby pulled away and made to follow Kanuk before turning to the equally clueless Alebrylla. "I have no idea what just happened then. Do you know that female?" She asked, letting the surprise make its presence known as she spoke. She attempted to mask her jealousy though as she flicked her tail side to side with slight irritation. "I think I should go after him." Faith announced looking to Ale calmly interested to see if he would try to stop her.
