The sun beat down on the busy savannah, a russet lioness padded out of her cave and stretched, opening her jaws in a yawn and raising her head to reveal a white chest and underbelly before closing her jaws to reveal more white her paw socks were also white except slightly duller against the rest of her body, made grey from dirt that had recently attached itself to her. Tura padded out into the open revealing a fluffy white tail tip as she inhaled, taking in the scent of sun and the smell of various animals within a two mile radius. She licked her lips as her stomach growled noisily before starting to follow a nearby scent of an antelope. As she continued to follow the scent her stomach began to get louder and louder, demanding food soon. Tura finally settled her gaze on her 'victim' a couple hundred feet away and so she picked up her pace to get closer before lowering herself into a hunting stance.

Strong sun rays bounced off of Pyrex's light tan fur, concentrating its heat in the many darker spots that found themselves speckled about his body. He pranced from rock to rock, looking out onto the open savanna form his high perch as he let the cool air run through his short fur. Spotting a bird with brilliant blue feathers in the distance, Pyrex shot like a bullet and used each rock as a ricochet point in a barreling assault towards the avian creature. It didn't take long for the bird to escape into the sky, at which point Pyrex looked up and smiled; he didn't care that he couldn't catch it, the chase was where he gained his thrill.
His reflection was interrupted as he heard a loud sound, something that did not belong to any animal he had encountered, echoing through a cave that peeked from the mountainside just beneath him. Very quietly, Pyrex skulked to the edge of the ridge and watched an interestingly colored lioness pad towards a large group of animals in the valley. Being sure to remain hidden and quiet - very much against his will - Pyrex followed a short distance behind the lioness, planning to introduce himself once she had consumed her prey.

Ulivu took a long and deep breath in through her nose, taking every possible scent within a couple of hundred meters in. She had been wondering for days and it had been several since s fresh meal had passed into her stomach. She could smell the antelope, but she could also smell predators and she didn't feel like getting in their way. She lowered herself to her haunches and scanned the surrounding land, she could see the antelope and was starving to chase after one, but now the she looked harder she could just make out a figure in the grass. She took a deep breath in and though about the several different ways she could handle this situation.
After quite a few moments of careful calculation Ulivu decided the best course of action would be to let the predator eat and once it was finished she could try and salvage the scraps of meat left or try to re-track the herd. However she decided that if it was a pride or group of predators that she would make herself known to them and be certain they know she was not a threat before asking if she could join them. It was important for a lion to have a prude, it gives them a sense if safety and family, even more so to Ulivu who had lost and abandoned hers.

Tura was about to dive on an antelope when something distracted her and she froze, shooting upright quickly and startling the animals. She cursed under her breath before racing after the nearest potential prey - a gazelle calf. Without hesitation the lioness pounced and knocked it to the ground, sinking her teeth into it quickly before dropping it down dead. Looking around with a frown she tried to detect what had distracted her, she was sure it had been a fellow feline but she couldn't tell and whatever it was, was out of her line of sight now. So she sat patiently, knowing full well that whatever it was would have to move soon, unless of course it had fled too but she wasn't bothered. She was willing to wait it out for a little while.

Pyrex cursed beneath his breath as she did, annoyed at himself for nearly blowing his cover with a clumsy trip that obviously showed his light fur against the grass. Luckily, he was able to hide before the larger lioness could see him and he continued to watch as she rushed towards whatever prey she could manage to take. He continued to lay in wait, expecting her to dig into her prey as soon as she had caught it before realizing that she was waiting for him to either leave or reveal himself. Well he thought to himself, I guess now's as good a time as ever."
Pyrex stood slowly, revealing himself a few yards away from the lioness as he walked confidently yet innocently towards her. "Hello" he said a bit to loudly, causing him to lower his voice a bit, "I didn't mean to distract you. I'm sorry."

Ulivu watched carefully as the what she now recognised as a lioness hunted down her prey. When the lioness became distracted and lifted her head she shrank back within the grass, she strangely wanted to become acquainted with the lioness, but she was also cautious of her as she was larger then her and perfectly capable of killing her. She slowly walked through the grass around the clearing so that she could examine the lioness and debate with herself which course of action to take.
However when the cheetah emerged she stopped in her tracks and watched carefully, his voice carrying easily to where she awaited, hidden within the grass. She listened to every word he said and was careful not to make too much movement. She decided to let the cheetah and lioness work it out for now and she would become involved afterwards.

Tura frowned at the newcomer before cocking her head to one side thoughtfully. "Who are you?" She demanded, not with hostility but with a hardness that suggested she wasn't one to be so open with new people. Tura allowed her blue eyes to roam the cheetah and her lips curled up in a slight smile, he was no threat. Her ears detected another sound and she sniffed the air carefully, "Is someone with you?" She asked looking around, "Because I can smell two felines. Not just you." She stated, her gaze roaming the area, whilst she tried to find the other hidden figure.

"My name is Pyrex" he said with a smile noticing that she was sizing him up. "Don't worry" he said timidly, "I'm no threat." He watched as her ears perked up, obviously sensing something else in the surroundings. He was a bit caught off guard by her question but he responded as if it didn't phase him at all. "Nope" he chirped, "It's just me!"

Ulivu watched intently through the grass as the cheetah introduced himself to the russet female. She could see his timid nature in the way he introduced himself and she continued to watch as the female continued to attempt to locate her, but she remained still within her hiding spot, the time was not quite right yet.

After a few moments Tura gave up and turned her attention to the male, "I'm Tura." She introduced, her voice slightly harder than she intended. "So what are you doing here?" She asked carefully.

Pyrex took a step back when she snapped, a bit nervous over her intense attitude. "Well," he said looking down to the grass he stood on, "I'm not here for any particular reason. I'm just a wanderer who happened to be here at this point in time."

Ulivu took a deep breath in and a sly smile spread across her face as she raised her body from the grass. Her eyes staring straight at the pair, her breathing steady and her claws remaining within their sheaths. "I appear to be here at this point in time." she said evenly, not putting any weight on any particular word, attempting to make herself appear no threat.

TUra's head snapped around and she began to growl, not out of hostility but because the newcomer had startled her, "WHo are you? I knew I smelt another." She said, feeling relieved about the fact that her senses hadn't been failing her.

Pyrex was just as surprised with the stranger's appearance as Tura and he backed away a bit, prepared to run if things got ugly. The unknown lioness did not look like a threat but Pyrex knew too well never to trust strangers right away.

Ulivu smiled softly and did a small bow. She remained her calm and composed self and she raised her head, taking a few slow paces towards the pair. "My name is Ulivu, and if you don't mind mw asking, what are your names?" her tone was soft a delicate, not to vicious or too timid, somewhere perfectly in the middle.

Tura watched Ulivu carefully for a few moments before finally deciding to answer the lionesses question. "Tura, why are you here though?"

"I'm Pyrex," the cautious cheetah said with a small voice, not only wary of the situation but also a bit defensive over Tura's direct attitude.

She nodded slowly "nice to meet you both. And I am simply here because my mind thought that I needed food and I am simply following out its command. If you don't mind me asking, what brings you two to such a place?" she kept her stance slightly sloughed and her paws slightly apart, her gaze even and light.
