Need A Little Excitement;; (private Vitalini)

[Zoketi]

The young male watched her for a moment, then lay his head down, content to nap as well. The day was just warming up, so it'd be good to rest while the full sun was out.

[Vitalini]

They napped for a couple of hours before Nashana woke. She looked over at Korongo and smiled as he slept. He had saved her life.

[Zoketi]

Ears twitching, the tawny lion woke up, opening his jaws in a wide yawn. He glanced around, spotting Nashana already awake. "Hey," he rumbled, smiling back. It was almost evening, the sun was dropping down, but there were still a couple hours of daylight left.

[Vitalini]

"Enjoy your nap?" She asked smiling

[Zoketi]

Korongo grinned happily. "I did." he chuckled, slowly sitting up. He wasn't sure whether they wanted to keep moving now, or simply stay here for the rest of the evening.

[Vitalini]

Nashana nodded, "Good. So did I." She stood and stretched before looking around, "Now what?"

[Zoketi]

He lifted his head to the sky and sniffed the breeze. "I suppose we keep moving." he rumbled as a suggestion, glancing back towards the lioness briefly.

[Vitalini]

"I guess so." She nodded and got up to follow him.

[Zoketi]

Korongo rolled to his paws and shook out his tan fur. He blinked at her, then strode forwards, taking the direction they'd been mostly traveling in. He let out a rumbling sigh and matched his pace to the lioness's.

[Vitalini]

"How far do you think we should go?"

[Zoketi]

He tilted his head towards Nashana. "However far you want to go," he churred with a grin, lifting his tail.

[Vitalini]

They walked and walked. For two days they continued to move forward, stopping only to rest and hunt. Finally by the fifth day since they'd left the pride, they stopped. There was absolutely no trace of her former pride or any pride for that matter. They had found a beautiful oasis deep within the jungle. A waterfall flowed nearby, under which was a cozy dry cave. It was beautiful and perfect.

[Zoketi]

Korongo sat down, his gaze sweeping their new location. Perhaps they'd stay here for a while, he thought. It was a lovely little place, and there was prey nearby.

[Vitalini]

"Wow." Nashana breathed softly, "It's so beautiful!" She came to a stop beside Korongo and sat down, "Ive never seen anything so beautiful. "

[Zoketi]

He glanced towards Nashana, smiling brightly. "That it is." he churred in agreement, casting his gaze back over the landscape before them. "What do you say, perhaps stick around here for a little bit?"

[Vitalini]

Nashana's eyes grew bright, "yes, that would be amazing." She smiled at her companion.

[Zoketi]

"Great!" Korongo bobbed his head brightly, and flexed his paws against the soft soil. He rose to his paws and slid forwards. "Care to explore?" he asked, with a small smirk and a flick of his tail.

[Vitalini]

"Love to." She smiled and stood to join him. She was beginning to love their adventures and even just spending time with Korongo. It was so nice having someone who actually cared

[Zoketi]

The young male pricked his ears and stepped forwards at a gentle pace, heading away from the waterfall-cave. He pushed through the thick ferns and lifted his head to take in the tropical scents. Glancing around, he smiled at the lioness, and matched his pace to hers. He didn't have any particular direction to head in, so he just walked forwards.

[Vitalini]

Nashana followed taking in the world around her. It was too beautiful for words so she just let mother nature do the talking.

[Zoketi]

Korongo flicked his tail as they continued, keeping his gaze set straight ahead. A few clearings opened up in the jungle, the occasional stream ran by, and the two lions startled numerous small deer and rabbits out of the brush. Overall, he thought it'd be a good place to stay.

[Vitalini]

They continued to walk for quite some time chatting about the scenery.

[Zoketi]

After a while, Korongo felt his paws begin to grow sore again. He glanced at Nashana and flicked his tail against her side. "Perhaps time to head back to that cave thing?" he asked with a smile.

[Vitalini]

Nashana yawned, "yea I think so."

[Zoketi]

He gave her a gentle friendly nudge. "C'mon then, sleepy." he purred, smirking at her. He flicked his tail and changed direction, lifting his head to scent out the waterfall. He trotted forwards through the foliage, making sure to wait for Nashana.

[Vitalini]

They arrived at the waterfall and moved under it to get to the cave. Nashana shook the surprisingly warm water from her back and looked around.

[Zoketi]

Korongo trotted after her. He hesitated a moment before ducking under the falls, then strode into the cavern after Nashana. A yawn broke from his jaws, and he stretched his paws over the smooth stone surface. The male scooted forwards, finding a spot to settle down. He dropped down and curled up with a satisfied sigh.
