Need A Little Excitement;; (private Vitalini)

[Zoketi]

He nodded conversationally. "Ah." Korongo flicked his tail and smiled. "Yeah. I'm glad." He chuffed. "Any cool places to see?" He asked, tilting his head to the side. Perhaps she'd found some interesting places when she'd been here before. It was worth asking, at least.

[Vitalini]

"Well.... there is the waterfalls." She smiled, "This way."

She led him to a beautiful cove surrounded by rock formations and trees. In the center of the cove were five beautiful waterfalls.

[Zoketi]

"Okay!" He churred, ears pricking with interest. He followed after her, picking up his pace and trotting along. Waterfalls certainly sounded interesting!

As they neared the cove he slowed down and lifted his head to take in the view. It was quite a sight. "Wow," he rumbled, blinking, "that's awesome."

[Vitalini]

"Ive always liked it here." She smiled

[Zoketi]

Korongo glanced over to her. "I can see why," he grinned, twitching his ears. He took a step forwards, turning back to admire the scene. Eyeing the water, he shot her a look. "You like swimming?" he queried with a slight smirk.

[Vitalini]

"I do actually... but I wouldn't go swimming in the falls today. With the shade the water can get pretty cold."

[Zoketi]

Korongo drew back and rolled his shoulders good-naturedly. He supposed she had a point. "I guess so." he rumbled, sitting down with a small thump, a little unsure of what next to do. He glanced at her way, wondering if she had any ideas of her own.

[Vitalini]

She laughed, "I know its kind of boring around here." She sat down and then laid down and sprawled out on the grass, "Tell me about your family. "

[Zoketi]

He twitched his ear and let out a soft rumbling chuckle in agreement. "It's okay." he chuffed, blinking at her. He flicked his tail and then lay down as well, a few steps away from her, his paws flexing out over the grass. Considering her request for a moment, he tilted his head. "Well, it was really just my mother. Out of my kin, I mean. We lived in a small nomadic pride. I dunno who my father was. I had a sister too, apparently, but she died a few days after she was born, so my mother said." he began, arranging himself neatly. "I had a few friends though. It was nice, we were all very close to one another, on account of the small size of the group." Korongo finished.

[Vitalini]

"Wow I cant imagine living in such a small pride. I swear I have twelve suitors around every night. I think they're in for a rude awakening when they have to leave the pride."

[Zoketi]

Korongo laughed softly. "Twelve, really? You must have a large pride." he shook his head in amazement. "I suppose they are. My pride never had that issue, I suppose. Of the adults, three were female, and three were male. Each pair were mates." he shrugged again. "I suppose it wasn't all that official...since we just roamed around, picking up stragglers on occasion."

[Vitalini]

Nashana laughed, "Yes very large pride. And they all seem to think I should be with them. Really I have no interest. They're all way too immature."

[Zoketi]

Korongo grinned at her, tail flicking around his hind paws. "That's unfortunate." he chuckled, shaking his head a little. "You have some friends there, don't you?" he asked cautiously. She seemed to nice of someone to not, so he assumed so.

[Vitalini]

"I guess so." She smiled, "though I'm not real close with any of them." She shrugged, "I'm not very close with anyone in the pride. Not since my father died."

[Zoketi]

Korongo gazed at her. "Oh. I'm sorry." he murmured, his tone softening a little. Blinking, he glanced back over the pretty scenery. "Well, you seem like a nice lion to be friends with." he rumbled, ears pricking.

[Vitalini]

"Thanks." She smiled warmly, So do you. I'm glad we met."

[Zoketi]

The male twitched his ears with pleasure. "And thank you! Me too." He chuffed, grinning at her. Korongo lowered his muzzle and then stretched out a paw. He batted at a clump of ferns, and lifted is head, at a slight loss again. Perhaps it was just the time on his own that made him loose a bit of his ease in conversation.

[Vitalini]

Nashana smiled at him and then turned her head to the north, "Oh great." She groaned as three young male lions approached them.

""Hey Nashi! What are you doing way out here? Who's this?" A black maned lion asked with jealous eyes.
"You know thats not my name, Kibutu." Nashana snapped
"Eh whatever." Kibutu laughed.
A red maned lion came right up to Nashana, "Hey beautiful." He said too earnestly
"Ugh! Go away Jiahtu! " Nashana elbowed himas he tried to nuzzle her.
"Nashi thats no way to talk to the boys." The biggest young lion snapped at her. His brown mane (or what little was there) hollowed in thewind.
Nashana glared at the oldest one, "Then tell them to leave Kimba!"
"Why?" Kimba looked at her, "They've tracked down my girl."
"I am NOT your girl!"

[Zoketi]

He'd just caught the scent when the lioness turned and groaned. Immediately Korongo sat up, eyeing the three young males, more or less his age. From Nashana's less-than-pleased reaction he didn't see a reason to like these three. Especially as they came up to the lioness with much arrogance. Korongo narrowed his eyes, but didn't move. He wasn't in a position to do anything, outnumbered and close to their territory. Their confidence and pushyness made him scowl in disgust. So shallow! Korongo snorted softly and lifted his head. "Leave her alone, would ya? Can't you tell she doesn't want your advances?" He rumbled, ears flicking back. What else could he say? Even if it'd likely get him into trouble, he'd rather have that than seeing these males being so pushy around Nashana.

[Vitalini]

"Oh." Kimba looked at Korongo, "The trespasser has a voice does he?" Kimba sneered as Jiahtu and Kibutu flanked him on either side. All three glared at Korongo.

"Cmon guys.... leave him alone." Nashana sighed
"Shut up Nashi!" Kimba snapped, "So... you think you know what's best for the lady do you? You've only known her for what, a few hours? Ive known her my whole life and trust me you have no idea."
"Stop it, Kimba!" Nashana pleaded
Kimba growled and shot Nashana a look that stopped her dead in her tracks. She swallowed hard and closed her mouth.

[Zoketi]

"I'm not trespassing." He growled, casting a quick glance to Nashana. He wasn't, was he? Wasn't this out of bounds? He jerked away and flicked his tail, straightening and facing the other males. "Well, it seems pretty obvious she doesn't like it, so one would think to back off, wouldn't you?" He scoffed back, a faint smirk curling up his muzzle. He glared at them, completely irritated by their rudeness and arrogance.

[Vitalini]

"Psh, I don't have to back off." Kimba smirked and moved toward Nashana. He circled her looking her over, "After all... she is my girl."

Nashana growled her eyes burning with anger.

Kibutu laughed

[Zoketi]

Korongo curled his upper lip with distaste. "Not from her point of view." He snapped back, lashing his tail against his back legs. Okay, so, they didn't seem to care about Nashana's desires at all. That just made it worse. Korongo wished he could do more to help, but he didn't have the upper paw. He pressed his forepaws against the ground and stepped to the side, keeping close.

[Vitalini]

Kimba continued to circle Nashana. He stopped at her shoulder and leaned in to whisper, "see you at home."
Nashana shuddered. She could hear that his tone implied more. She watched as Kimba and his goons looked once more at Korongo and laughed before turning and heading back to the pridelands.

[Zoketi]

The young male pinned his ears at the statement, and scowled in disgust. Shaking his head, Korongo stepped forwards towards Nashana, and twitched his tail. He merely raised a nonexistent brow as they raced off, quite unimpressed. "Can't you get someone to make them leave you alone?" He growled thoughtfully, sitting down with a thump and gazing after them.

[Vitalini]

"No..." Nashana said letting her guard down now that they were gone, "My mother died giving birth to me and my two sisters. My sisters died a couple days later. Somehow I made it though looking back I have no idea how. I know one of the lionesses took me in but I think she must have left because no one has said it was them. My father was around for a brief time and people left me alone but when he died challenging our king... well.... thats when Kimba started."

[Zoketi]

He returned his gaze to her, expression softening with the departure of the rude males. He flicked his ears back, tilting his head. "Oh.." He trailed off, unsure. "Sorry." He murmured, tail giving a flick. He dropped his gaze, his mind whirling. "Why don't you just leave, then? You seem to be away all the time since they come after you, right?" He asked, lifting his green gaze again. It might be a rather heavy question, but he decided to ask it anyway, just out of curiosity. If she wasn't close to anyone there, would it not be better for her to get away because of those jerks?

[Vitalini]

"They would come after me. I can't defend myself. They outnumber me." She sighed, "I tried once." She moved her hind leg revealing a large scar across her stomach

[Zoketi]

He tilted his head. He'd expected a reply like that. "Ah..." He rumbled softly, blinking. Then he drew back and flicked his ears. "Sorry." He mumbled, gazing at the wound before returning his gaze to her face. "You really want to leave, then?" Korongo sat down and wrapped his tail over his paws. He was considering something, but he didn't want to outright ask it yet. It was..well, it was a risk and he didn't even know if it'd make sense. He let out a huff, some of his earlier cheer gone.

[Vitalini]

"If it meant not being.... assaulted every night. .. I would do anything. " she took a jagged breath. This was the first time she had told anyone about Kimba.
