[Enth] I Can't Fight This Feeling Any More

The tiger ignored Enuthu, that is until he spoke. His eyes lifted to him, examining him for a moment. He looked back to Kimbi as her angered snarls met his ears. Snarl faded, and a simple and stern expression on his face, he came towards her and looked her dead in the eyes. "You, cub, will show some respect." He said quietly, yet with a certain stern tone to it. He stepped back, as the other individuals stepped forward Kimbi realized they didn't seem as scary as they had in the shadows. Some looked angered, yet the majority appeared curious.. Some of the younger ones looked confused.. And a few of the older ones smiled at her. Finally the lioness looked to them. "Give them some space. The poor doll looks like she's seen a ghost." Without hesitation, the crowd backed up a few paces, looking at one another as they seemed to wonder who she was... Kimbi looked at them, confused, and felt Enuthu's touch, his reassuring touch.. Yet she could see how uncertain he was when she looked at him.

Finally, the lioness stepped towards her, nuzzling her, "Welcome home." She said softly, and looked to Enuthu. Kimbi, surprised at the touch, felt her jaw slacken.. What did they mean by home? Could this be.. Could they be? It couldn't, they couldn't, it can't be.. there was no way... The lionesses voice filled her ears, her gaze at Enuthu. "Both of you." She looked back to the tiger and said softly, "Don't mind Kamal, he acts tough but he is not as fierce as he lets on." She said softly, adding, "I am Kala, leader of our pride alongside Kamal." She said softly. "Tell me, young one.. What does Kuno call you?"

Kimbi's expression from confusion turned to one of shock as she recognized her fathers name. "You.. You know my father?" She questioned. The lioness laughed softly, "Know him? I raised him. He is my son. I can only assume you are his cub." She looked at Kimbi, a certain pain hidden in her eyes. Kimbi didn't notice it, not at first.. For she was too caught up in the shock of what she had just been told... Blinking hard, she looked to them. Dumbfounded a moment, she managed, "Kimbi." She said to the lioness, whose expression changed to one of pain and she blinked, looking to Kamal. Little did Kimbi realize she was named after her fathers deceased sister, who had died at birth.. One of the cubs born to these two. She continued, not seeing the pain in their eyes, "I'm Kimbi. This is my mate, Enuthu." At the word mate the lionesses eyebrow raised a little, her expression had turned warm again, and she smiled a little. "Follow me." She said softly to them, and turned, walking past the crowd of felines, who cleared a path for them, smiling at her. Hesitating, Kimbi stepped forward before pausing to look at Enuthu. Something didn't add up.. If they were the same evil felines her father had warned her about, why weren't they attacking? Could her father have been wrong about them? What had happened.. Why did they look so upset to talk of her father? She would find out soon enough.

Enuthu was very unsure, unsure of who these felines where, how they knew Kimbi and why they were being so gentle. he stiffened as the lioness nuzzled Kimbi but didn't say anything or make a sound, simply stood there frozen by her side, his green eyes wide as he tried to decide what to think and do. His mouth was frozen in its downwards position and as the lioness welcomes him 'home' he doesn't move just stands staring, wising he could melt away into the shadows. The only thing that stirred him was Kimbi explaining him as her mate and a small smile spread across his face and he held his head by hers, touching noses with her. His legs were stiff as he followed Kimbi and Kala through the crowd of felines. Enuthu did not know what was going on, he was simply following Kimbi, hoping everything would reveal its self in time.

Kimbi's eyes were drawn to each individual as Kala spoke, and after she had introduced herself and started following her their faces became more clear. Some looked strikingly similar to her, others completely different. It wasn't until a small cub came up to her, a young male and said in a chipper voice, "You really are her, aren't you?" Kimbi smiled, looking at the little cubs orange pelt with black stripes, an orange mane tuft on his head. "If by her you mean Kuno's daughter then yes." She said softly. The little cub looked up at her, "I'm Toku!" He said softly, happily, then a female voice called for him. He scampered off, pausing midstep and turning to her, then running back and nuzzling her leg. Then he ran off, a liger female greeting him with a nuzzle.

Kala looked back to her, "Toku would be your youngest cousin. Son of one of your fathers half sister." She said softly, smiling, "Really sweet boy. Ah, we're here." Kimbi looked around herself, there was a lake, a waterfall, vines to sleep on and antelope that were dancing in the fields nearby. Life had grown here, and it seemed like a paradise. Her jaw slightly agape, she looked to Kala. "Umm.. If you don't mind me asking... This place... It's.. It's wonderful.. So... Why did my father leave?" Kala looked out into the distance, sighing.

"Your father befriended a lion who once lived here. He lived in his pride, and agreed to tell us what the happenings were. They sent the hyenas to different lands, and the hyenas invaded this land. It was only me and Kamal at the time, and our litter of cubs. They killed one of our friends and her cubs, and from then on we knew we had to act or we would all die. So we found some outcast lions that had been banished, and some of our tiger friends fell for them.. We formed a pride, and to make sure they knew that they could never send their hyenas after us again, we attacked them.. Didn't kill any, but just made sure the message was clear. Your father got it in his head that we were trying to kill them... He had formed a bond with the enemy, and wished to be one of them rather then with his own family. He returned, to tell us off, and then he left us... and he never returned, remaining a rogue. That's the last we saw of him." Kimbi's jaw was agape, she had never heard this side of the story, and Kala's eyes seemed pained, she saw it then. There was no denying that telling her all this had brought up her old wounds of the past.

Enuthu was frightened, nothing about this place was familiar or comforting, but he knew it was much better then his previous home as he thought of his rivaling brothers, fighting for the throne. He listened as the Kimbi and her grandmother talked, not wanting to say anything but simply walked beside Kimbi, her confidence giving him some aswell. For they were mates now, binded by the strong love between them, they were part of eachother and they were tightly wound together, Enuthu never leaving her side. And for that he felt as if he could sense her feelings and his own mingle and become one true feeling.

As they talked and they arrived at their destination he stopped and starred as he saw the beautiful landscape and couldn't withhold an intake of air as he saw just how beautiful this place really was.

As kala talked of Kimbis father Enuthu felt Kimbis pain, saw her pain, and stopped walking, turning and nuzzling her affectionately, attempting his his best to comfort her, he knew she wasn't pathetic, he needed the affection too, it comforted him to feel her face against his once more and he let out a small sigh of relief. His love for Kimbi was strong and wild, he was never able to resist it, even though he knew they weren't perfect.

Her eyes went over to Enuthu, she could almost feel his fright, it coursed through her veins as well... The land was beautiful, she looked over and saw him taking it in, smiling a little. He deserved a paradise, and now they had one together. Her mind trailed to other thoughts... She resisted.. For in her mind she could see their bodies tangled in one mad passionate embrace, the passion over taking all emotion as their bodies were one...

Snapping out of her day dream, she listened to the story and felt pain at hearing it... Enuthu seemed to sense her pain at the story.. Was this the truth? It seemed so different from what her father had told her; part of him wanted to scream that they were liars, but the other part leaned towards believing them. She felt Enuthu's nuzzle and nuzzled him back, her mind retreating to her day dream.. She wanted it to be real.. Oh so real... Kala seemed to sense that they wanted their time alone and left, ushering the others to their caverns. She nodded to a larger cavern, secluded from the rest.. that was behind the waterfall... It seemed that would be their sleeping quarters, and someday perhaps their den. Nuzzling against Enuthu, she nudged him towards their new den.

Enuthu saw the understanding on the lionesses face and he gave her a rare, small smile. He watched as the felines slunk away, leaving just him and Kimbi, he felt her nudge, and followed it to the cavern, hidden by a flowing waterfall. The spray of the fast moving water landed on his nose and he gave a small sneeze, rubbing the water away, only to have it replaced once more. As he reached his new home, behind the foamy water, his eyes lit up as he saw just how peaceful it was, how tranquil it seemed. In a way he missed the screaming and shouting of his family, but at the same time it haunted his nightmares as the image of his father dead on the floor came back and he shook it from his mind. He replaced their noise with the one of the waterfall and collapsed on the smooth stone, his eyes closed and tranquil. "Do you want to stay here Kimbi?" he asked slowly, he wanted Kimbi to be happy more then he wanted to keep his life and so it was his priority to keep her smiling her beautiful smile.

Kimbi followed him into the den, watching him examine it and plop down... She came towards him, as he asked her if she wanted to stay here. She hushed him by pressing her maw against his, flipping him over onto his back... Her intentions were clear.. She gazed into his eyes as she felt the desire grow within her, her day dream filling her mind as a smile lit her features. She had waited all her life for this.. this moment.. She wouldn't pass it up...

She flopped down on the surface of the rocks, sweating heavily. Her breathing came fast as she closed her eyes, a big smile on her face. She got up, laying next to Enuthu, nuzzling him with a loud purr rising in her throat. "I love you.." She whispered softly... Her love for him had never been so strong, never had she been so certain of anything. She was his, and he was hers.. Mates, together in one another hearts forever more.

Enuthu felt her maw press against his, feeling her burning desire, and too his amazement his own desire burning just as hot. He looked at her eyes, just checking if it truly was what she wanted, and seeing only the hot desire he pushed their bodies closer, losing himself within her thoughts, her feelings, their love.

Enuthus body was covered with sweat, his dark fur matted together in places, his mane plastered against his face. He too was purring as he replied "Impossible" a daring glint passing through his eyes as he pushes her over, gently, licking her maw and cheeks. His smile was wide and looked strange on his face, his eyes were burning, fired by love, fuelling his deep desires. He felt her sureness and released her as he went over to the waterfall. Leaning his head beneath the heavy water, his mane turning straight as it becomes flat and stringy, covering both his eyes. His smile remained, unmoving as if it had been painted upon his face. He shook the exes water from his mane and it slowly went back into its natural spikes. He felt their bond, stronger then anything he had felt before as if it were the only thing holding him together and upright. Her eyes had always managed to melt him when he starred at her for too long and he found himself signing as he did it once more, losing himself in her dazzling beauty.

Her nuzzles upon him were endless as he licked her maw and cheeks. He was smiling, and how good it was to see him smile. As he delved beneath the water, his mane returning to a more normal look, she smiled at him. It didn't take long before she was lost in his eyes, taking in every bit of him.. She slowly wrapped her paw around him, burying her face in his short mane. "Oh Enuthu... you are amazing.." She said softly, before falling asleep.

Yet when she woke she felt oddly off, different from normal. She ate more at her meals, but figured the nights events had just fueled her hunger. However as a few days passed, she became sick and didn't know why. Kala took her to their local shaman, a baboon that looked a lot like Rafiki, only younger.. Perhaps one of his relatives.. She had brought Enuthu with her, but nothing could prepare her for what was about to be said to her.

The shaman ran his stick over her, bouncing its fruit which made an odd noise. He took a fruit, cracking it open and tasting it, before putting his ear to her belly. He straightened. "Oh young one, I bring you great news. You are due for your own family." She blinked, looking at him. As it sunk in she shook her head...

"No thats impossible.. I can't be..." But the thoughts of that one passionate night filled her.. It had only been once.. Surely he was mistaken? But the baboon smiled at her. "You are not sick, young one.. You are pregnant." He told her softly, patting her shoulder. He turned to Enuthu, patting his shoulder, before climbing a tree and swinging from vine to vine. Kimbi stared at Enuthu. "It can't be.. right.. It was only once.." She buried her face in Enuthu's shoulder. She whispered, "If I am pregnant, I wouldn't want to have anyone else's cubs but yours." She said softly, looking up at him.

Enuthu felt her in his mane, feeling how short it was, remembering how young he was. "Only as amazing as you let me be" he replied before feeling her drift away within his paws. He gently places her on the ground and lays beside her, his paws around her body, as he soon drifted off to a place only he could imagine.

Enuthu noticed Kimbis feelings and it reminded him all too much of his fathers lionesses before they gave birth to their cubs. He had put off the thought of Kimbi being pregnant until the shaman, a baboon with a long stick and fruit at the end of it. He watched as he looked over Kimbi, not knowing what to think or hope for. At his words Enuthu knew all too well what it meant straight away, a cold shock flooded over his face and he gave a nervous smile. As he confirmed it he only delved deeper into shook. He felt her face in her shoulder and he shakily put a paw around her, his face up changing, unmoving. He could say nothing, just sat there un changing a million different thoughts spiraling inside his head.
