Hi guys! Mane here! I've been meaning to ask this question for a while.. 'Is there any other gamers who played during the classical era of video games?' Personally, what I mean, if you still own these: An Nintendo 64 Nintendo Gamecube Sega Genesis Sega mega drive Nintendo Gameboy The First XBOX (Any others? These are all I own ) Now, moving onto game talk. When I was little about 5-6 I would just sit upstairs on Mario 64 all day, but one day, we sold the Nintendo 64, and I got a gameboy, as the years wet by, I got a DS, I was so happy when they realused the remake, but boy was I dissatisfied. It just seemed.. easier than the N64 version, so as I did, I asked my parents to buy me a N64 'Because my DS was boring..' I e0got a N64 with Golden eye 64, and Mario 64! We also got the super hard mario driving thingy. XD And onto Zelda, another one of Nintendos top selling games! The truth is, I didn't play these on N64, I got the 'Limited Edition Zelda pack' With every Zelda game, including a demo for Windwaker, which was considered new at the time. Best days of my life! That was, until my bro had a rage quit, snapped the disc in half and threw it at me, which 'surprisingly' caused me to lash out at him saying he ruined 'the bestest games ever made' he then cried and I walked away angrily. And now they released the 3DS theh released OOT:3D and for a HD remake, everything was seemingly accurate! Apart from vatching Epona, it was way easier than on gamecube. Then I heard rumors of Majoras mask being released I saved up about £40, until it didn't come 8ut. Then I realised I would never see the creepy mask salesman or the evil moon ever again.

I still have a gamecube and the collectors edition of Zelda, my favourite two are majora's mask and ocarina of time. I also have twilight princess for the gamecube.
I stil have my gameboy advance SP somewhere with a load of the original pokemon games (yellow, red, blue, silver, gold) and I have sapphire somewhere too.

Yes, Majora and Ocarina were my favourites. What hit me worst though, when my brother snapped the disc, I had just about completed all of the Zelda games on there, including 1 & 2. I never forgave him.
My gameboy was a colour it was silver and had dark grey stripes, I had Pokemon Crystal on it and the amazing difficult mario on it.
I akso played Super mario sunshine.

I still have my N64 and Gamecube, as well as the Xbox. I never played a Zelda game, the closest I got was by playing Link in Super Smash Brothers, which isn't close at all . I was big into the Star Fox series, as well as playing Star Wars Rogue Squadron, Star Wars Shadows of the Empire, and Goldeneye.

"I can't let you do that Star Fox!" If they made a Star Wolf game, I would buy that immediately. I wouldn't care if it had the worst story plot ever XD.

Heck, I used to play Thelionking 2D platformer, I forgot which console it was on... but I loved the game! It was difficult but I loved it to no end.
Then they re released it on the playstation as a 3D game and it was short, but it was oksy I guess.
I also played Pokemon Snap and Hey You Pickachu. I loved throwing apples at Pokemon heheh... xD But Hey you pikachu, was really annoying. Its one of those games tgat everybody wants ad it turns out rubbish. I loved the game, I hated those dammed voice controls..

I believe the lion king game was on the Genesis. I have it emulated on my laptop, but I got stuck on the stampede level. Didn't realize how hard that game was I have both of those pokemon games as well. I got one of my college friends to come over and play Hey You Pikachu just so I could show him how awful that game was. I spent about an hour cussing out Pikachu, and even that got boring. We also learned that it didn't matter what you said to him, but how you said it. The game is about as bad as the Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue game I have.

The Lion King game was also on SNES, and it was awesome I'm a longtime fan of Legend of Zelda, proud owner of every single Zelda game to date (original cartidges and discs, not downloads from the Virtual Console xD). My favourite core Zelda game is Twilight Princess, but as a separate story I love Majora's Mask the best for its uniqueness and philosophical aspect. It's just that good Other than that, I can enjoy pretty much any good action/adventure game. I'm not a huge fan of RPGs, but there are some out there I enjoyed, Chrono Trigger being one of the best. Just recently I got Pokemon X. I haven't played a Pokemon game since about 13 or 14 years ago (I stuck with the original 151 from Red & Blue xD) so it's a big leap for me, I'm not sure of how many Pokemon I've missed since then

Oh, Majoras mask was one of my favourites after The Wind Waker. The best thing about Majora was the masks. My favourite transformation was the Zora, where you took the similar appearance to Miku, and you had to save the Zora Eggs. It also has a fairly creepy moment, the Elegy of emptiness Statue of link. And all the others. They are damn creepy.
Oh, you've missed out on loads of games. I think Pokemon X and Y are good games, but I find most Pokemon games short, I always complete them in a few days.

I'll go way back and say that I still play good ol' DOS games every now and then. Aside from that, I pretty much wasted my childhood killing our NES controllers. Now I just play all the NES games via an emulator on PC or on my DS, but I still like the good old Castlevanias, Super Marios and a few other games. xP I also just recently managed to get my hands on Pokemon Emerald. xD To be honest, when bored on lectures and not wanting to draw, the DS with NES and GB games is actually the best way to pass time. xD

Ah! I love contra and doom and metal slug. My gaming experience probably goes back to a GameCube? But I was young at that point and can't really remember it that much so I was really as ps one, ps 2 and a game boy gamer in the early years. I still have the first tombraider tht was remade for the ps one xD and of course, I couldn't forget the god games, Metal Gear Solid

I have played XBox since I was three years old. My grandfather won one in a competition. He hates Microsoft, and he still does, so he gave it to his son. My da'. We got some games, and I started playing. I was three, mind you, and my English was limited to yes, no and allright. So stories didn't matter. I played games for the action. I (Well, my dad) got Halo, Star Wars Battlefront (Amazing game) and Disney Extreme Skate Adventure (I'm mentioning that because it had a TLK world. Nala is extremely good.). I also got Halo 2 later. Those games were pretty much everything I did after Kindergarten, Preschool and whatnot. I didn't get the XBox 360 till 2008 or so. I remain with the good 'ole XBox. Still have the exact same XBox, and I have lost two 360's to the red ring of death. Ahhh, how I love that thing. I completed the entire Halo series not too long ago, and I had to play Halo 1 and 2 on the Black Box. Not some petty white smooth thin', no the good old black matte monstrosity.

OMG DISNEY EXTREME SKATE. The songs are in my head till this day. Also, the first quest in Pridelands was following a yellow trail to a plug or something xD

I don't remember. But I do remember the songs. Shame they didn't use any actual Disney soundtrack. But the Hip Hop was epic!

I originally did not own the original xbox -or any console/handheld- in my childhood but I own a collector's edition of Halo 2 that I play on my 360 and my first Halo experience was on Halo: CE PC edition, I have starcraft and starcraft brood wars, many old need for speeds (such as NFS 2, 3, high stakes), Flight simulator 98, old star wars games from back when 3d models were a new thing, etc. I caught up a bit.

so side thing but still relevent I played this game once and have been dying to find out what its called so i can play it again. I played it years ago on my computer so im not sure what the original console was (we had it as a file so it couldve been from any really) Anyways the gane starts with a little cutscene of a kid staring into the night sky and he sees a shooting star which turns out to be a space ship that lands beside him and a guy gets out and tells the guy to come inside? I cant remember the main story but you could get different weapons and you had to kill clones whose inages were snakes? i know that sounds weird but i wanted to see if anyone knew it cause ive been searching for ages. So anyone know what the name is? On another note, i religiously playeda game on ps one called dragon something? (its not quest) You were a guy and he could only walk but he had a kick swordand youre main thing was to kill a giant dragon and for me it was my first "life aint a happy ending kid" experience cause the main character sacrifices himself in the end to save this girl and me, being a really young kid waa just blown away like "Woah! the main characters can die? Why hasnt he responed?'
