Wherever Adventure Takes Us {Private Amani and Accalia}

[Accalia]

Novinha giggled a little at his explanation, trying not to nark the conversation about her too much, so asked another question "Where is your family now?" She didn't think about how personal that question was until after she said it so just widened her eyes and took a large mouthful of meat, trying to make herself as calm as possible

[Amani]

"Oh my parents themselves still live by the lake. My mom's side of the family lives in like the main pridelands, and my dad's side of the family lives in the rival outerlands. The lake is a waterhole inside the main pridelands, but it is out far enough that it's about halfway between the two prides. I get to visit each side but only individually, cause they don't really get along. That's why my parents moved to the lake." he said, then asked. "Do you have any family?"

[Accalia]

Novinha swallowed her mouthful and sighed "Oh... So your family are rivals in a way... I am sorry." She lowers her head thinking what it must have been like to have a rivalling family and it made her feel a pang of guilt in her stomach. At his question she looked up her eyes wide, but her voice hard "No. I have no one but myself, they died saving everyone else." She says hating their parents for their courage, but deep down loving them for it.

[Amani]

"Yea, it gets pretty crazy at times, but I love 'em," He sighed in an on the bright side kinda way. He looked and replied to her, "Sorry about your family too."

[Accalia]

Novinha smiled, trying her best to with hold her emotions. She took another mouthful and said "It doesn't matter.... Their gone, that's it." She said matter of factly. "It's getting kinda dark, you wanna go find a place to stay?" She asks gently.

[Amani]

"Oh alright," he said, then looked up at the darkening sky as she mentioned it. "And yea we should," he replied, getting up to his feet to depart.

[Accalia]

She smiled softly "Would you like a cave, or a secret place beneath a tree?" She asked, she knew where one of both were and wanted Bahari to be comfortable.

[Amani]

"Beneath a tree will be fine." Bahari said. He never really slept in caves often. The pridelands had a cave, the outerlands had a cave, the lake had shady trees.

[Accalia]

Novinha giggled "Sure!" She began to walk off towards the small collection of green trees, hopping Bahari would follow.

[Amani]

Bahari walked off as well and began to follow her to the destination, keeping close to her in the slowly dimming daylight.

[Accalia]

The trees grew closer and she began to plod faster. She reached the trees and smiled "Here we are!" She was panting slightly, but she had enjoyed the long run.

[Amani]

He sped up with her as she plodded faster and reached the trees he now saw. "Alright, sweet!" he said, glimpsing at her and then gazing at the trees before them.

[Accalia]

"you'll be alright here then?" Novinha asked softly, as she had not slept upon the ground in a long time, and would try to prevent having to as she is not exactly what you would call a good host, or friend material

[Amani]

"Yep, I will be just fine here" Bahari replied reassuringly. He's been used to sleeping under trees for a while. So he should be comfortable here as well.

[Accalia]

Novinha said her goodnights, then gracefully lept up within the trees, letting her hand drop once more from the branch

[Amani]

Bahari returned a goodnight of his own, afterwards going and approaching the tree, curling up cozily in that place beneath it.

[Accalia]

Novinha starred up into the sunset, her eye lids were heavy and soon the sun dissapeared behind the trees, night sank in and Novinha slept, a quiet, peaceful sleep, the rough bark beneath her supporting her weight throughout the night

[Amani]

Bahari lay comfortably on the ground, slowly drifted off to sleep under the tree. He slept pretty soundly through the night, dreaming of what would come tomorrow.

[Accalia]

Novinhas eyes snapped open at the regular time, sunrise. She gently leapt from her branch and stretched away her night aches and then turned her gaze to the sleeping Bahari. He placed herself down and waited, waited for the lion to arise.

[Amani]

Bahari arose shortly after sunrise. He rubbed his eyes with his paw, letting out a small yawn. "Good morning," he said to Novhina, who he noticed is already awake.

[Accalia]

She gave him a small, innocent smile "Good morning!" She said warmly then remembered what she was support to say "How was your sleep?" She added quickly.

[Amani]

Bahari smiled back, moving away from the tree and sitting near her. "It was pretty good." he replied, then returning the question with "How about you?"

[Accalia]

Novinhas voice was smooth, no signs of her only waking up recently "pleasant.... Do you want to go to the waterhole today?" She added remembering how his family had lived near water.

[Amani]

"That's good." he chimed back. Bahari's eyes would light up at the mention of the water. "I'd really love to!" he exclaimed excitedly but softly.

[Accalia]

Novinha giggled and she beaconed for him to follow her as she plodded off towards the waterhole, her face filled with warmth

[Amani]

Bahari sprinted after her lead, the waterhole coming completely into view. Once he arrived there, he'd head to the shoreline, letting the homey feelings sink in.

[Accalia]

Novinha charged full on into the water, it splashing up her sides, her eyes wide and full of joy, her mouth open as it caught the occasional drip of clean water. She collapsed in the middle of the waterhole, letting it cool her fur.

[Amani]

Bahari backed up before running and jumping in after her, creating a splash landing. He sprang forward, splashing back into the water, then floated there.

[Accalia]

She felt the spray from Baharis splash trickle down her back and she laughed. Deciding to sit, staring at her reflection, trying to memorise her appearance.

[Amani]

Bahari floated there on his back a bit. He glimpsed over at her, then gazed above at the clear sky. The water below kept him cool from the sunlight.
