New Life {Private Clary and Accalia}

[Accalia]

Libo smiled gently at her "Ruby, you are the best big sister any cub her age could wish for. You are being more then just a sister to her you are everything to her, when I heard you coming and saw Iris's face light up at just the idea of you I felt the bond between the two of you and just how strong it is. We are never able to fight away the horrors of the night, but we are able to be there for them, waiting at the end of the tunnel..." His smile was meaningful and small as he closed his eyes and listened to the wind and swaying trees and the general noise of life.

[Ruby_Fehu]

Ruby who had been looking at the ground when Libo spoke looked up and her face broke into a smile, "Thank you Libo. Iris means the whole world to me, I would be devastated if I lost her." She nudged Libo's cheek affectionately before she rested her head on her paws again, glancing around. "It's a lovely night isn't it?" She commented thoughtfully as she watched the stars wink down on them. "I love watching the night sky, and looking for various shapes in the stars." She continued.

[Accalia]

At her soft nudge Libo's whole body became warm with the feeling of belonging and he blushed opening his eyes to look at Ruby laid down beside him. He decided to join her and he sank to his belly his cheeks still slightly flushed.

Libo smiled in agreement "I love to see the variations within them but yet be able to call them all stars." He sighed as he looked at Ruby her eyes sparkling brighter then any star, twinkling as she watched the moonlit sky.

[Ruby_Fehu]

Ruby cocked her head to one side and smiled contently before she turned to the stars then back to him. Carefully she nuzzled herself under his chin and rested her head on his paws, staring towards the sky contently. "THey're always so beautiful and comforting." She purred, looking at a particularly bright one. "An owl once told me that some of the brighter stars, like that one up ahead are other planets." She continued thoughtfully, "It makes you think really, doesn't it?"

[Accalia]

Libo felt Ruby's head slot perfectly into place beneath his chin and he relaxed completely, feeling as if that was how they belonged, together.

Libo nodded gently and said quietly "Yes it really does... They are so mesmerising, as if they were calling to us, but our place is here, with the people we love, and so when it comes to our time to join them, the people we hold dear shall not cry, as we will be amongst the stars in the sky, be them planets or not." He said before nestling his head down into place with Ruby's.

"Wise words Libo." Ruby complimented, as she yawned widely. She snuggled into the males chest, not caring that she hadn't asked if she could or not before she closed her eyes and drifted off into a peaceful sleep.

[Accalia]

As Libo felt Ruby's soft head rubbing against his mane he couldn't help but tense up at the unfamiliarity of it, but as her warmth seeped in he relaxed and rubbed his head against Ruby's sleeping one gently. "Sweet dreams. The saviour within you is so strong, yet sleep befalls us all" he said smiling down at Ruby, before starring up into the sky a content smile across his face, everything was perfect, and he would have savoured the moment if the enevitable drowsiness of sleep hadn't taken him under its spell.

Ruby woke early the next morning to the feel of someone pawing at her face. She opened her eyes and blinked wearily as she realised she'd fallen asleep with Libo, she glanced down and saw Iris batting at her curiously. "Yay! You're awake Ruby!" Iris giggled. "Have you been asleep like that all night?" She asked in surprised and Ruby gave a small smile.

"I must have, I can't remember. How long have you been awake?" She asked Iris.

"Not long." The cub replied with a smile. "Can I wake Libo and Novinha up now?" She asked brightly.

[Accalia]

Libo felt something move from beneath him and his head momentarily fell before he woke and his muscles tensed to prevent gravity. He yawned then blinked a few times, stretched and he was awake "No need to get me up young one!" He said gently placing his large paw upon her head gently. He slowly walked to where Novinha layer splayed upon her back. "Hey princess! Rise and shine!" He said rather loudly, but Novinha didn't stir. "Hey Iris I think she might need a bit of encouragement to get her up." He said looking at her with a childish glint in his eyes.

[Ruby_Fehu]

Ruby sat up and watched with amusement as Iris skipped over to Novinha. She looked around innocently before pouncing on Novinha, jumping up and down on her stomach. "Wake up, wake up, wake up." Iris chanted excitedly.
Ruby watched and couldn't help the small giggle that passed her lips as she watched her younger sisters excitement. "Stop for a moment Iris, see if that's enough to wake her up." She grinned, padding over to the trio.

[Accalia]

Novinha groaned but a wide smile spread across her face "Good morning Iris!" She said looking down her nose to the cub upon her stomach.

Libo laughed and smiled a warm smile at Novinha, a smile that good friends would exchange. As Ruby came towards them he looked at her with a deeper gaze and he felt his stomach flip, he had forgotten just how graceful she was.

Novinha saw the way Libo looked at Ruby at was partly envious but mostly happy, glad that he knew his own feelings. "What are we going to do today then?" She said with a yawn and a stretch.

[Ruby_Fehu]

Ruby looked to Libo and shot him a content smile before turning to Novinha. "Well why don't you and Iris go and play together? You didn't get chance to spend time with her yesterday. Would you like that Iris?" She asked her sister who nodded enthusiastically.

"Yeah! Can we do that Novinha? Can we? Can we?" Iris asked excitedly.

[Accalia]

Novinhas eyes were heavy but with another yawn she smiled and said "How'd you like to go to the ravene?!" A slight glint of childishness flickered in her eyes. She would most likely just run around with Iris, playing hide and seek, but the ravene was a place she rarely ever went but always loved hearing her footsteps echo back to her.

Libo smiled, but behind it was slight disappointment, he was a cub deep down, but knew his day would be an enjoyable one if Ruby was there sharing it with him.

Iris nodded eagerly and ran ahead of Novinha, "Let's go! Let's go!" She chanted.

Ruby watched her sister leave before turning to Libo, "Fancy going for a walk somewhere?" She asked shyly, pawing at the ground nervously.

[Accalia]

Novinha smiled back at Libo and Ruby, chanting childish things through her head. "Race you!" She said, turning back to Iris. She ran off, keeping Iris close

Libo watched as Novinha and Iris ran away on their adventures. At Rubys question he smiled, lifting her head up and looking into her eyes "I would love to" He said, trying to make her feel less nervous.

[Ruby_Fehu]

Ruby smiled and gestured for them to leave the cave, "I'm sorry about last night. I wasn't thinking straight; and I was so tired I just fell asleep. I hope you don't mind." She said guiltily.

Iris ran after Novinha laughing before slowing a little. "I think Ruby is kissing him!" She said, trying to embarrass her older sister's actions.

[Accalia]

Libo smiled as he began to slowly walk in the opposite direction to where Iris and Novinha had gone, his eyes soft and loving but with a humorous edge around them. He giggled a bit and asked "Why do you always apologise? I don't mind at all, you were tired, I can understand that." He said his tone soft and gentle, flowing like the river.

Novinha laughed "I bet they are!" She said before making exaggerated kissing noises, talking to Iris as if they were the same age.

[Ruby_Fehu]

"It's a habit, I've gotten used to. Sorry..." She said before grinning guiltily, "My bad. I'll just shut up now." She laughed as they walked. She glanced over her shoulder at Libo and felt a change in her mood. "You're really good with Iris you know, she really likes you." Ruby continued with a small smile.

"Can we go spy on them!" Iris gasped eagerly, looking up at Novinha hopefully, "Pleaaaaase."

[Accalia]

He giggled and at the mention of Iris he smiled wider "She reminds me of mt brother..... I love her for her, but I feel as if I allready know her." He said his smile soft yet hurt.

Novinha smiled, knowing it was the wrong thing to do, but couldn't resist the urge or the cute little face starring up at her "Ok, but be super quiet!" She whispered letting out a childish giggle. The slowly running back to the cave, hoping Iris would stay close

[Ruby_Fehu]

"Your brother?" Ruby repeated curiously, "I didn't know you had a brother." She continued, she then saw the hurt and instantly regretted her question, "I'm sorry, you don't have to tell me."

Iris nodded and followed Novinha. "I saw them walk that way when we left." Iris whispered, pointing in the general direction she'd seen the duo run off.

[Accalia]

"He resented my family, he was young, and ran away, but the very next day I went out to find him, because even if he didn't love me I loved him, but I saw him laying dead by a tree......." He says his tone flat and lifeless. But his eyes were deep, not sad more of a deep longing as if her were simply awaiting his return. "It's ok, I don't see much point in crying over ones death, we should remember the good times and laugh with their memories..." He says meaning every word.

Novinha giggled and followed Iris, crouching close to the ground as she whispered "What do you think they are doing?!" Laughter rising up inside her.

[Ruby_Fehu]

"I'm sorry to hear that." She stepped forward warily and raised her red eyes to gaze at him, she took a deep breath and nuzzled him gently, "Well you have us too, now." She said gently.

"Probably kissing." Iris replied dismissively.

[Accalia]

At first Rubys touch startled him, but he soon relaxed and his cheeks brightened as he rubbed his head against hers "I know and I am very thankful of that, Thank you... for everything." Libo said his voice having more life in it, amazed at how Ruby had feelings for him, and in a way felt as if it were all a dream.

Novinha giggled as they neared where the two of them stood whispering "Hehehe look! there down there!!" She says gesturing down the path to the two figures stood closr by eachother

Ruby stepped away from Libo and smiled at him, her cheeks flushing a red colour, "You don't need to thank me. We're friends and that's all I care about." She replied, draping her paw over his muzzle and starting to lick the tip of his nose with a small smile.

Iris giggled and made a disgusted face, "They are! They are kissing! That is so gross." She said, "Eww, my sister shouldn't be allowed to kiss." She said to Novinha.

[Accalia]

Libo went bright red, but soon licks her back whispering "Ruby... I think I love you..." Before rubbing his head across hers. He didn't care where they were or who was there, they were together and it felt its if they were the only two lions in the world.

Novinha giggled turning over, laying on her back, her eyes squeezed shut as she laughed, her tummy moving up and down rapidly

Ruby felt her cheeks flush as he spoke and rubbed her head, she allowed a purr to pass her lips as she did before nipping the back of his neck affectionately, "I think the feeling is mutual." She replied, stepping back to look up at him with hopeful red eyes.

[Accalia]

At her reply he held her gaze, letting her beauty flood through his ocean blue eyes. He took in every moment, holding it deep in his heart, letting the feeling of shared love envelop him and suspend him, he felt as if he were flying, he was up so high, but could fall such a long way. He meant his nose against hers and closed his eyes "Ruby... I do love you" he whispered, taking in her sweet scent, holding his head against hers, feeling their strong bond through their though, then whispered "I think we have some followers" he gestured to where Novinha lay sprawled on the floor.

[Ruby_Fehu]

Ruby gazed passed Libo's shoulders and saw Novinha lay on her back laughing before she spotted Iris watching them with her head cocked to one side curiously. "You can come out now."[/i] She called up to them. She laughed as Iris looked at her sheepishly before jumping away from Novinha and padding to her sister.

[Accalia]

Novinha whipped away the nonexistent tears and padded up towards the pair; affection had always confused her, and to see it right before her eyes had jerked a nerve inside her and that was why she simply had laughed it off, not because she deemed it funny or because she was envious, she wasn't she thought the sight of Libo and Ruby together was one that slotted together and looked correct, in its own strange way.

Ruby smirked up at Novinha's expression before padding to her, "Did you and Iris have fun?" She asked playfully, a grin creeping onto her lips. "Would you like to see more kissing?" She continued with a affectionate growl at her friend.
