New Life {Private Clary and Accalia}

[Accalia]

Libo frolicked around the glad completely unaware of the pair of mint eyes watching him from the shadows. Libo wouldn't care even if he did notice them as he knew who they belonged to anyway, it was the outcast from the neighbouring pride. He didn't know her name everyone just knew her as the little miracle, even though she was his age and hadn't actually done anything over the top, she was just the offspring of amazing lions, but he didn't hold that against her.

Novinha watched from the tree line as he saw the male jumping around in her haven; she didn't like the fact he was here, but didn't feel like going up to him and confronting him, so she just watched carefully as he slowed and bent down to drink from the pond. She then decided she had had enough and slowly lurked out from the trees elegantly.  She approached him silently holding her head down low, she wasn't sure how to get his attention.

Libo didn't hear the lioness until she said "Hay... why are you here?" her voice sounding very unsure. Libo lifted his head and saw that she was a hybrid like him, but not quite the same. He gently replied "I am here on an adventure." Libo always managed to control himself unlike Novinha, she went on to question him "Why cant you stay to your pride lands?!"

Libo answered "This is neither of the prides land."

Novinha gave up and just slumped down next to him seeing he wasn't going to leave. "Ok, you can stay, but don't make yourself too comfortable." Novinha relaxed a little bit and said this with a humerous air about it. She didn't know it but there was something about this male that made her ralexed.

Libo saw her tension disappear and gently sat down beside her, "So what is your name?"

Novinha answered "I ask the questions round here, but it is Novinha... yours?"

"Libo" he replied gentle as ever, he looked up into the shy so that she didn't feel nervous.

Little did they know they had possible followers...

[Ruby_Fehu]

(OOC: Told you, you could do it )

A young lioness/cheetah hybrid made her way through the area, following her little sister who was dancing and jumping and running. The two siblings russet fur was marked with mud - Iris' more so than Ruby's. "We're nearly at the water Iris, come here." Ruby said picking up her pace and grabbing hold of her scruff. Iris wriggled in her sister's hold. She carried Iris down, ignoring the fact there were others nearby - her main concern was Iris - and placed the cub in the shallows, starting to splash her with the water.

Novinha quickly got up and turned at the arrival of two new lionesses. She quickly trotted over to where they played and stood in a remotely aggressive way over them. She then turned to Libo, "Did you bring them here?! I thought I could trust you...."

Libo lost him composure slightly and answered quickly and defensively "No! You can."

They both turned to the two siblings, Novinha asking "Why and how did you find this place? Ugh never mind, I guess this place isn't as secret as I thought it was..."

Libo regained his composure and gentle question them for their names, "Hello there, what are your names?"

[Ruby_Fehu]

Ruby growled hostily at Novinha first, placing her paw around Iris and pulling her closer in protection. Before the other lion spoke to her politely. She huffed and turned her golden gaze to him, narrowing her eyes slightly. "I'm Ruby. This is my siter, Iris." She said coolly.

[Accalia]

Libo turned to Novinha "They don't mean any harm Novitah"

"Its Novinha and fine they can stay..." Novinha huffed

Libo looked back at the two sisters "She doesn't do socialising very often..." He smiled gently at them

[Ruby_Fehu]

"I can see." Ruby replied nudging Iris back into the water and starting to clean her again.

[Accalia]

Libo smiled but Novinha just faced the other way, but deep down she longed for them to be her friends

Libo smiled at all of them, sitting in the water once again staring into the sky, completely at ease

When Ruby had finished cleaning Iris the cub jumped out and shook herself around her sister, drenching the older hybrid's paws.

Libo felt the splatters of water from the small cub fall onto his paw and smiled lovingly down at her. "Hello Iris." Libo tried very hard to make the tension between the four of them disappear and Novinha was slowly gaining confidence and would peer over shoulder occasionally to see their faces, especially Iris's small face, gently smiling from time to time.

[Ruby_Fehu]

Ruby tensed noticeably each time they went close to Iris but when the small cub just grinned and said, "Hello." In a singsong voice she eased slightly.

[Accalia]

Libo giggled "How are you little one?" Libo was always like a father figure when it came to small ones, he loved them and their company. He then turned to Ruby "There is no reason to be tense, I am not going to hurt you, neither of us will, Novinha just wants to be alone sometimes..." He said this turning to see Novinha smiling at Iris, who quickly turned around an annoyed expression on her face, but really she wanted to join there discussion.

"Come on Novinha, we aren't going to annoy you." Libo was as gentle as ever and convinced Novinha to turn around and smile at them all.

[Ruby_Fehu]

Ruby gnawed on her bottom lip before giving a small smile to Novinha. "So how come you're both here? If this is your territory I can take my sister and leave."

[Accalia]

Novinha looked at Ruby "Well... We all seemed to be brought here.... But don't worry this could be our haven, it is now our territory!" Novinha seemed as if she was confirming it with herself as she said it but was much more at ease then she was before.

[Ruby_Fehu]

Ruby was wary before nodding, "As long as it keeps Iris safe staying here."

[Accalia]

Libo smiled widely "Of course!" He pulled them all close bear hugging them all close. Novinha reluctant at first bu then relaxing hugging Libo in return.

[Ruby_Fehu]

Ruby stiffened but didn't pull away for Iris' benefit - the cub was clinging onto Libo's paw.

[Accalia]

Libo held them there for as long as it wasn't awkward, but could sense ruby's tension so it wasn't for as long as he had hoped but they were slowly forming a friendship, and could see the positive effect it had on Novinha; this was the first social contact she had received in years.

"hay iris are you up for a game of hide and seek?" Libo asked energetically he remembered it as his favourite game to play when he was smaller.

[Ruby_Fehu]

Ruby shimmied away when Libo eventually stopped the hug and padded to the water, starting to lap it up greedily.


Iris was thoughtful before nodding eagerly, "Yes! You have to count though. I like hiding. Now cover your eyes and count to ten." The cub demanded earning a smirk for her sister.

[Accalia]

Libo giggled at Iris's reply but didn't question it "1,2,3...." he continued to count slowly, so Iris was hidden when he opened his eyes

[Ruby_Fehu]

Iris hid in a little hole dug into a tree trunk and lay low waiting, trying her best to stifle her giggles.

Ruby looked up from her drink and watched with mild interest as Iris began playing and being like a normal cub again.

[Accalia]

"9,10. ready or not here I come!" Libo tried his best to sound energetic as he deliberately searched every place but where Iris was hiding.

Novinha watched with a slight glint of joy in her eye as she saw Rubies gaze hovering over Iris. She gently and slowly approached Ruby and affectionately said "Your sister is very cute... but so young...." Novinha wanted to ask why they were alone but decided against it.

[Ruby_Fehu]

Ruby looked at Novinha and shot her a genuine smile. "She is, it's dangerous out here though. I needed a place for us to be able to settle until she was older. Hopefully this will be safe for her for a little while." Ruby replied.

Iris poked her head out of the tree trunk and giggled ever so slightly.

[Accalia]

"Trust me this is my home and has kept my craziness at bay and so should be able to keep any evil away aswell!" Novinha smiled glad that she was forming a friendship with not just 1 but 3 other lions.

Libo turned around to see iris's head peeping out from behind the root; he slowly walked over saying "I wonder ehre Iris is..."

[Ruby_Fehu]

Ruby smiled faintly and nodded before turning away from the lioness beside her and focussing on her sister again, the same fierce protectiveness in her gaze and stance.

Iris gasped and shuffled backwards into the hollow trunk, grinning as she waited to be found.

[Accalia]

Novinha saw the way Ruby looked upon her sister and smiled as she turned towards Libo, being such an amazing big brother. Novinha smiled and giggled as he played with the little cub, almost forgetting the way she had greeted him before.

"BOO! I found you!" Libo said as he lifted the giggling cub from her hiding place, but then placing her back down quickly so he didn't upset Ruby.

[Ruby_Fehu]

Iris giggled and jumped around the lions paws, before running behind him and start to try and pounce on his tail, "I'm going to be the best hunter ever! Watch!" She grinned as she 'hunted' his tail.


Ruby rolled her eyes good naturedly and turned to Novinha, "Will your friend hurt my sister at all? Or will you?" She asked curiously, "It's just I need to go hunting but I can't take Iris with me." Ruby explained carefully.

[Accalia]

Libo giggled as he spun around slowly, so Iris could occasionally grab his tai. "And so you shall!" Libo said not believing she could ever hurt a thing.

"Don't worry your sister is safe with us, even I would not injure such a defensive being....." Novinha's eyes glazed over as she saw the small cub playing with Libo, "She will be perfectly safe with us, I promise." Novinha was very caring now she knew Ruby and her sister a little better. "I completely understand your concern though, but there is no need for it" Novinha looked up at Ruby completely honest with her.

[Ruby_Fehu]

Ruby watched for a few more moments as Iris played about before nodding and turning from the three and running off towards where she had seen a herd of Wildebeest when she had been looking for water to bathe her sister.

[Accalia]

Novinha watched Ruby run away and then wondered closer to where Libo and Iris played "Libo Ruby has just gone to go hunting and has trusted us with Iris, so don't let her get injured." Novinha was falling for the pair of what seemed cubs.

"Iris don't worry she will be back soon, we will look after you!" Libo turned to Iris comforting her

Iris grinned and began giggling again before grinning wickedly. Before either of the lions could speak she shot off away from them and dived into a large mud puddle and started rolling around, covering her once clean fur in filth. When she was dripping with mud she sat down in the center and beamed up at Novinha and Libo.


Ruby retreated a short distance until she passed a herd of antelope and lowered herself onto her haunches before steadily starting to prowl forward, moving her paws quickly and careful, her eyes locked on a particularly large doe that was grazing contently near her hiding place.
