Lost Legacy (Kito&Kovus Reign:CC)

(Sure time skip and I don't know we just decided to twist stuff Amani haha, just jump in )

Nuka and Aline

Even though he and Aline were now officially adults they still flirted around each other neither wanting to admit their feelings to the other in fear of rejection. This morning found the two lay side by side talking together, Aline's black fur standing out against Nuka's fur.


Izzy

Izzy was sat on the top of Pride Rock, her head cocked to one side thoughtfully.

(Well, it just happens with Kiara being jelous of Kovu and Kito, then Kito kills kiara, and then Simba kills vitani and tries to kill kovu to protect his dark secret, but both him and nala fall to their deaths.)

Kopa:
He trotted out, and rested beside Izzy, resting his head on her coat. "Hello beautiful" he says, flirting with her, grooming her affectionately.

Kito:
The queen stepped out in the cracks of dawn, her tufts a light shade of grey, along with the tip of her nose. A smile passed across her lips, as she draped her paws over one another. "Kovu, I think its time that we decide on the next ruler." She says with a sigh. Oh how quick their life had passed..

Azua:
Was now a bright young teen, whk was an exact copy of his father, apart from his deep blue eyes. He was kind of jealous of Nuka and Aline, and Kopa and Izzy. He was determined to find somebody to love.

[Amani]

(Lol yea. I guess it worked. Never would have seen it coming )

Mai
The native cub Mai lay inside Pride Rock beside her mama, having just awoke. Slowly leaving dream land she stretched and sprung up. The little scamp ran out of the den, past the older lions. She climbed up the long platform and looked out, playfully looking for mischief. Since she was up, her mama couldn't be far behind, though she hoped.

(But Nala survived yet none of the characters know yet)

Izzy

The young adult rolled her eyes and laughed, "Oh shut up with your flirting Kopa." She said playfully, pawing at his face good naturedly.


Kovu

The elderly King nodded his agreement and sighed heavily, "I think Nuka is up to it but I don't know whether or not he wants to be King. If he doesn't then it'll either be Kopa or Azua or Amia." He said, watching Izzy and Kopa intently.


Aline

Aline stretched and rested her head on his paws like she'd done so many times before yet this time Nuka rested his chin on top of her head and she sat enjoying the familiarity of the touch.


Nuka

Nuka, determined to make Aline his mate decided to speak to his parents about whether they were okay with it or not, but not yet. Right now he just enjoyed being in her company.


Amia

Amia who had grown into a pretty young teen padded out of the cave and ran to her brothers side, her fur was a mix of both her parents which had led to the colour being a dark russet colour, her markings were exactly the same as her mothers except her fathers colouring, she two like her brother had deep blue eyes which seemed to sparkle. "Where are you going?" She asked curiously.

Kito:
"We should put them through a test." She says. "A test that combines all of the main attributes" she adds. "Including leadership skills, strength, courage." She spoke again.

Kopa:
(Could Izzy be expecting his cubs, but they aren't yet mates?)
He pawed at her playfully, until he felt something move in her stomach. "What was that? Loose zebra meat?" He joked.

Azua:
"Somewhere. " he muttered, jumping from the rocks and into the long golden grass.

[Ruby_Fehu]

(Sure)

Izzy

The Panther, lion hybrid tensed up. "Y-yeah that's it." She stammered, trying her best to avoid his gaze. "I ate not that long ago..."


Amia

"Can I come with you?" She asked.


Nuka

Nuka stood up as Aline disappeared to go and hunt before turning and padding to his parents. "I need your help." He admitted sheepishly.

Kopa:
His ears flicked back. "Are you hiding something?" He said raising a brow at her.

Azua:
"No. You can't. " he called, before disappearing over the horizon.

Kito:
"What is it Nuka?" She asks calmly, glancing at her son, her now vibrant eyes beginning to dull.

[Ruby_Fehu]

Izzy

"No, no nothing Kopa." She smiled slightly and began pawing at him again.


Nuka

"I want Aline to be my mate." He said quickly.

[Amani]

Watching the sunrise slowly bored Mai. She would have to find something else to do. With no cubs around, her options narrowed. She walked off the top of Pride Rock to the lower areas. Nonchalantly noticing her mama keeping an eye on her, she entertained herself by chasing her tail repeatedly.

Kopa:
"Okay then" he laughed. "Oh, Izzy, I have something important to ask you" he said, his voice trailing off.

Kito:
"And you want advice? Ask your father" she says with a chuckle

Kovu

"You're a girl, you know what girls like." Kovu pointed out to Kito with a grin.


Izzy

"Yes what is it?" She asked curiously.


Amia

The young teen watched her brother go before she noticed Mai playing, with a fond smile she went over to her, "Hey kiddo, what you doing?"

Kito:
"Well, girls. Like soft caring lions, such as your father, they also like suprises" she said with a laugh.

Kopa:
"Will you be my mate?" He asks, blushing brightly.

[Amani]

Mai finally managed to catch her tail once before turning her attention to Amia. "Just playing around." she said with a giggle, before trying to play with Amia's tail.

Nuka

"Helpful mum, really." He replied sarcastically.


Kovu

Kovu laughed quietly, "Just ask her, you two have been joined at the hip since we first came back here, I highly doubt she'll say no."


Izzy

She looked up at him in surprised before nodding once and smiling.


Amia

The young teen began flicking her tail, teasing Mai.

Kito:
"Oh shut up you" she said pushing her son in the chest with a laugh.

Azua:
The teen took one brief look at his. Home. He took a deep breath. "I will be back soon, I promise" he mumbled, as he trotted through the Outlands.

Kopa:
He smiled at her with his cocky smile. He then nuzzled her affectionately, before continuing to groom her.

[Amani]

Mai chased Amia's tail as she kept flicking it. To the point where she tried to catch it once and fell over. She giggled and rolled over on her belly.

Nuka

"So should I just ask her like you said to dad?"


Kovu

"That's what I would do." He replied with a nod.


Izzy

The lioness purred noisily as Kopa nuzzled her, she'd have to speak to her sister.


Amia

Amia grinned and began pawing at the cubs face.

Kito:
"Yes you should, im sure she will say yes." She says with a nod.

Kopa:
He finally stopped and rested his head on her back. He then glanced over the Pridelands, until he saw a herd of Zebras pass by. They all looked shocked, as they saw Kopa, and they quickly ran off.

Kito:
She looked down, to see a rather large gathering of animals around Priderock. She was shocked. They all seemed to be surrounding Kopa. "What brings you to Priderock?" Her voice booms.

[Amani]

Mai starting pawing back at her. She then turned her attention to animals around Pride Rock. She amusingly wondered what was going on. Plus it would probably be the highlight of the morning, other than playing with Amia.

Amia

Amia looked up when she heard her mother shout. Quickly she stepped over Mai and padded to Nuka who had followed Kito out of the cave. "What is going on?" She asked in dismay, glancing over at Mai slightly protectively, even though her mother was nearby.


Kovu

Kovu padded to Kito's side and looked down in surprise.


Izzy

The hybrid raised her head and looked to Kopa with worry.


Aline

Aline was returning from her walk when she found herself admist a crowd of animals.

Animals:
"The true king has returned!" They continue to shout, as then angry chants filled the air. "The king & Queen stole his title! They must not be the rulers, all heil King Kopa!" They chanted again.

Kopa:
He cocked his head to one side. "Me a king?" He questioned himself.

Kito:
"This is complete nonsense!" She growled.

[Ruby_Fehu]

Izzy

The young hybrid remained quiet looking up at Kopa in shock, of course she knew he was royal but she didn't know whether or not he was up to it. "I smell trouble." She muttered, sitting up and causing Kopa's head to drop from her back.


Nuka and Amia

The two siblings hurried over to their parents. "What are we going to do?" Nuka asked.


Kovu

"Kopa has no training as a King! He can't take our place and we never stole it! They tried to murder my family and I, and they succeeded. You-" He turned his gaze to the elephants. "My sister Vitani, saved one of your children. Simba would never do that." He then looked to the panthers. "And you. We accepted Aline and Izzy into our home when every other lion banished them because they weren't normal. We even allowed their mother and father to stay until the day they died." He continued, standing in front of Kito. "Under our rule we've done so much for all of you. Compared to Simba and Kiara."


Aline

Aline stood amongst the panthers who turned to her when Kovu mentioned her, causing her to shy away.


Nala

A now old, twelve year old lioness limped towards Pride Rock, and amongst the crowds gathered. She was shocked as they started shouting about Kopa. Picking up her pace ever so slightly she began limping up to Pride Rock and up the side, she paused behind Kito and Kovu and exhaled sharply when she saw Izzy stood with none other than Kopa.

Kopa:
His head fell to the floor with a thump as he rubbed it. An ouch escpaed his lips, as he sat up two, confused. "Clearly i can`t be your king, i have no training, and Kito and Kovu will make better rulers than me." He spoke boldly. "They helped you so many times, and this is how you repay them? This is unfair for them, for all their kindness" He said this to make him look good, so he could have a better chance to take the throne later.

Kito:
"Silence!" Her voice croacked. "These words are not true, we shall not loose our throne, because you beleive we are bad rulers. We have helped so many of you. !" She spoke again, until a voice came from the crowd of elephants.

The elephant:
"Yes, its true, Vitani, Kovu`s sister did save my life, she returned me to my mother. And thats how im here today" The elephant spoke, as the herd turned to face her in shock, as she nodded.

A friend of Izzy and Aline:
"Its true, nobody wanted them. Everybody said because they were imbred, but thats not true, then Kito and Kovu showed up, and gave them a home, provided them with shelter, warmth, and food."

[Amani]

Unsure of what might happen Mai castled herself, running behind her mother as her mother, a lioness named Nina, walked over in front of her protectively.

Nala

When the crowds gathered fell quietly briefly, Nala stepped forward. Her head was held high and majestic as she approached the two. "Kovu and Kito seem to be doing a pretty good job as leaders, you weren't bothered until Kopa showed up. You followed their rule. You were happy." She said wisely - she'd been living low for the past few years so had observed plenty.


Kovu

The King looked at Nala in shock.


Amia

Amia moved from Nuka and over to Nina and Mai.


Aline

The hybrid smiled at her friend, nuzzling her quickly in thanks.


Izzy

"Sorry." She mumbled guiltily when she caused Kopa to hurt his chin.

Kito:
She gasped in shock, there was Nala, the former queen. The animals seemed to have cleared away now.

Kopa:
"Its fine" he said turning to his mother and giving her a friendly head bump. "Mother! Your alive!" He says in happiness.

[Ruby_Fehu]

Nala

She smiled weakly and bumped him in return, "Just." She laughed.


Kovu

Kovu looked at Kito and grinned.


Izzy

She observed the mother and son with a smile.

He laughed. "You had tge guts to take down father" he said with happiness.

Kito:
She laughed. "I think you should go and talk to her" she says nuzzling him and walking down the slope to greet Nala.

Nala

"I didn't want to but it was a case of needs must." She replied gently.


Kovu

Kovu hesitated before following Kito and nudging Nala in greeting.
