Tyne smiled back at Kahawia, walked over to them and sat down next to Kahawia with a smile and a tail twitch. "What did I miss?" Tyne asked, looking around at everyone.

"Nothing much. Just the munching of food and hospitable conversation." she replied with a bob of her head. She crunched a bone between her jaws, sucking out the marrow with pleasure. Kahawia tucked her paws beneath her as she ate and peered calmly around at the slight crowd.

Tyne smiled at Kahawia. He trotted over to her side as the smell of carcasses hit him, he paused for a minute, letting the smell fill his nose. "oh god I'm starving" he said, as he began to drag a leg of a deceased zebra towards the group.

She lolled her tongue at the young male for a moment before returning to eat her own meal. She now felt satisfyingly full, warm and well-fed after a long day. She wasn't used to such a large, fit meal, and the young brown lioness knew that she be feeling some aches soon enough as her stomach adjusted to the amount of food now in it. But it was a good thing, Kahawia wouldn't mind the cramps--better than starving to death. She cast her gaze around the bunch of friends she had acquired, feeling content.

Walla ate so much rhino her stomach hurt. She rolled onto her side, letting it spread over the cave floor. "I am so full. And sleepy," she said, yawning.

"Food'll do that to you" tyne yawned in response to Walla's yawn. He looked at Walla, then said to Kahawia "Do you think we should leave her to sleep? Cause I have this awesome place I want to show you at some point." he said.

Kahawia forced her jaws closed, trying not to get the contagious yawn. She flicked her ears and huffed in satisfaction. "Oh--I guess..." she didn't want to leave Walla out of anything, but Tyne had just mentioned her and the selfish part of her liked the singling-out. And if Walla was tired...well, she had the others for company. Atiya, and Azola. Kahawia flicked her tail, glancing from Tyne to Walla, hesitating.

"Oh go," Walla said, waving them away. "I'm in heaven in this place. I'll just eat, and sleep, and be content. But tell me about this place when you get back, yes?"

"Definitly!" Tyne smiled to Walla, "I hope you know I didn't mean to make it sound like I was trying to exclude you or anything" Tyne Laughed nervously, hoping he didn't offend her. "I just thought you would want to sleep and us talking wouldn't help". He looked towards Kahawia as he stood "You coming then? He smiled, flicking her back with his tail.

Kahawai was glad that the other lioness didn't seem to mind. She looked towards Tyne, eyes bright, and gave him a nod. "Of course!" she accepted, getting to her paws and licking the last remaining bits of meat off her brown muzzle. She stepped over the legs of the wildebeest she had chosen, and hopped next to the young grey male.

Tyne was glad that kahawia could come. He watched as she licked the remains off of her muzzle, noticing something. "Hey, um...you missed a bit" he smiled, then leaned towards her and licked it off the side of her muzzle. Tasting the wilderbeast in his mouth "Nice choice" he grinned, than began walking towards the cave entrance.

Kahawia twitched her ears in surprise, but didn't reject the contact. "Thanks," she chuckled lightly, blinking brightly at the young male. She bounded after him, tail flicking up over her back as she reached the cave's entrance. As she peered outside she again started, still not used to the amount of lions that spread over the land.

Tyne watched as Kahawia was again shocked by the size of the pride. He laughed in amusement "You're brilliant" he smiled. Ok, "it's a bit of a walk but not too far" he winked at her, hoping the beautiful lioness wouldn't mind.

Kahawia flicked her tail, shaking her head slightly to get her senses back. She turned towards Tyne. "Of course not." she replied with a return grin. "All I've done my entire life is walk." she let out a light laugh and padded after the young male, eager and content. Just hours ago she'd been alone, and now she was here, safe and with new friends. It wasn't anything she had imagined happening, but for sure she was glad it had.

It took a while, but they eventually got there, Tyne's favourite place in the whole of the savannah. He wouldn't share it with anyone, it was to precious. Yet he was, he was going to share it with someone. That Sky blue-eyed girl who he bumped noses with. The girl he only met a few hours ago. He himself wondered "What made her so special, why does she get to see it? And after thinking of this, a...feeling ran through his body. He didn't know what it was, but he knew exactly what made her so special. They walked slowly into a cave, different than the one they stored food in. Multiple paths were infront of them. He let Kahawia walk up beside him. He leaned in close to her ear and whispered "Ok, close your eyes, trust me"

She moved eagerly after the young male, head high and tail flicking back and forth to the rhythm of her walk. She did not mind the distance, even though it seemed unending. Her paws ached but she no longer felt it--so used to it. When they came into sight of another cave she looked towards Tyne, ears pricking. She was very curious as to what this was all about. Kahawia slipped in after him, padding up to his side and sniffing the cool cavern air. At his words she gave a hesitant nod. "This had better be good." she teased softly, with a faint smile. She closed her pale eyes as requested and waited for her companion's movement.

She grinned softly, keeping her gaze shut tight. "Okay." she mewed, and obliged. She padded hesitantly forwards, stretching out her neck instinctively, her whiskers twitching for anything to brush against. She drew in the smells, but couldn't pinpoint anything right away. "How far am I going?" she questioned back at Tyne.

"Juat another five footsteps. Ok, open" he said as soon as they were in the middle of the cave. The entrance was no longer behind them, only twists and turns of small tunnels that seemed shorter than they were. The cave had opened up into a huge room. A small lake, shimmered in front of them, stretched out to the other side. Tiny specks of different jewels could be found randomly along the wall. "What do you think?" Tyne asked, sitting down.

Kahawia took those five steps, and then she halted abruptly. Her curiosity had been growing as she took in the smells of dark earth, as well as a strange water-scent. A faint rippling sound had reached her ears, puzzling her. She knew there could be underground rivers and such; was that where they were going? As she opened her pale blue gaze her jaw dropped a little. It wasn't anything she had imagined. Kahawia took it all in, her tail kinking over her back with pleasure. "It's amazing." she meowed, finally tearing her gaze away to meet Tyne's. She grinned at him, eager to enjoy her time here.

Tyne grinned "I'm glad you like it". He walked over to the wall. "You want to see something really cool? Watch this" he smiled, as he dipped his paw into the cool lake and splashed the wall. Not only did the lake light up from where the ripples had been started and spread out, all the gems the water touched glowed faintly or brightly depending on how much water touched them.

She stepped closer to the lake's edge, pricking her ears as she watched him. The glow of colors illuminated the cave and she let out a soft murmur of wonder. "That's incredible." she praised, lifting her tail in pleasure. She dabbed her own paw in the smooth water, merely flicking it out and letting the droplets spray everywhere. "When did you find this place?" she asked the young lion, out of simple curiosity.

Tyne smiled a sorrowful smile. "Fear leads you to the most wondrous places" he told her "When I left my foster family, I just...ran. It started raining so I came here" he looked at her "I never showed this to another living soul"

She lifted her tail and brushed it gently against his flank, a soft smile on her muzzle. "I'm touched." she murmured warmly, indeed feeling quite special. She hadn't known him for long, and he already trusted her with something this monumental. Kahawia purred deeply, flexing out her paws on the ground and then lowering her head to breath in the cool scent of the water.

He purred as her tail softly touched him. He was happy she felt the way she did. Tyne watched, as Kahawia stretched, the smell of the cool water filling the air. This moment, right now, just them two alone, no one there to interrupt them, this was euphoria. "Hey Kahawia?"

The lioness lightly lapped the water, tasting the sweet liquid. It held a cool, earthy flavor that she guessed was because it was underground. Kahawia turned to look at Tyne, ears pricking. "Yes?" she answered, sitting back on her haunches and politely regarding him, pale icy blue eyes flickering over his grey fur with mild interest as she waited for him to speak.

"How long have you been alone?" he asked the blue-eyed lioness, lying down on the cool rock. "Cause, I mean, I've been living on the edges of this pride for over a year , if not two, feeling secluded. I mean, I bring it on myself but..."Tyne nearly whispered "...I don't want to feel alone anymore Kahawia. I want someone, who I know will stay and who I'm not afraid to get close to..." he smiled slightly.

She tilted her head to the side as she watched him settle down next to the gleaming water. "A good while, at least." she murmured, considering. She hadn't really counted the time she'd been on her own but it had certainly been a lengthy period since she'd left her birth pride. Kahawia lowered her front half down so she could face the young male easier. "You're telling me this on purpose." she stated almost teasingly. "I'd love to keep you company, Tyne. But in all honesty we have just met each other, so don't get too far ahead of yourself." she flicked her tail against his flank to show that she meant only kindness.

Tyne smilled, then laughed. "You're right, I didn't know where I was going with that, it's just, you're brilliant....maybe someday?" he looked into her eyes and smilled "God isolation can make you do the weirdest things huh?" he said rolling onto his back, letting his head hang over the edge of the rock, looking at Kahawia. "You really don't know how long you've been alone? God then why am I moaning? Do you remember your family? What were they like?"

She purred with genuine delight. "Thanks. And yeah, maybe someday." she replied mysteriously. She chuckled softly at his words and stretched out her paws, flexing them over the edge of the stone. She tilted her head to watch the water ripple quietly against the rock. It was surprisingly clear, and she could see far out towards the other side, at least until the distance rendered it fuzzy. Kahawia was still enthralled by the beauty of the place. Looking back towards Tyne, she shook her head. "Well, it's been since I was a cub." she frowned slightly in thought. "Of course. My parents were kind. My mother was sort of strict but she was funny as well. She could always make me laugh. And my father, well, he was stubborn but gentle." she sighed as she recalled. "I had no siblings, but I had a best friend. She and I did everything together. She's dead, now, though." the brown lioness added bluntly, her tail coiling around her hind paws.
