Hey everyone!
As you can see I managed to get internet access.
I was out at a place called Downtown Disney earlier today. For those of you who don't know, it's basically a Disney based shopping area with loads of stores selling various Disney merchandise etc.
Anyway! I was in the animation store and I took a picture or two I thought I'd share with you guys!
This first picture is of an area in the store where disney staff actually sit down and draw characters. Obviously not just any disney staff member sits down and draws, these guys/gals are paid to. You can watch them draw characters and/or request some to be drawn (although requests cost you money because you'd obviously be buying it) You can even get the image drawn put onto a watch which can cost from $75-$200 dollars depending on what version you get. (You can get one with a special frame and authenticity paper etc)
In among the various art items in the store I found these next things.
The first was a reproduced canvas piece. No, I didn't get one, they're about a hundred dollars or so.
The last piece was one of the actual paintings hanging on the wall in a wooden frame along with a few other pieces.
This piece was about $1,100! Very expensive. (If only I had the cash!)
Unlike the previous one this was an actual original.
So yeah, just thought I'd share the awesomeness with you guys!
