"Well.." She dropped a hare to the floor. "I caught a hare, it actually went well for my first practice"

"I am impressed." He nudged it forward with his paw, "Go on eat your fill. The other lionesses can go hunt again later." Scar said with a lazy smile.
Sarafina bit her lip as she looked up at Pride Rock.

"Really?" Her ears perked at the complement, as she picked up the hare. "Thankyou King Scar" She said walking away, beginning to eat away at the small hare.
"Look, she`s coming back. With the whole hare. Not a single scratch" She said, thinking for a moment.

Scar smiled darkly before turning and walking back into the cave.
"Nala? What happened? Are you okay?" Sarafina asked quickly.

"Yeah mom, im fine. Scar said that he was very pleased with my kill" She said, beaming towards her mother. She then shoved the carcass towards her. "Do you want some mom?" She said smiling.
Sarabi frowned. "Hhm" She said when Nala said what she said. She thought he was plotting something.

"No, you eat it. You need it more than we do." Sarafina then turned to Sarabi with a frown and a shrug of her shoulders. "I don't trust him." She murmured.

"Mhm, okay mom" She said, chomping down on every scrap of the meat. She would not give any to the hyenas, for their satisfaction. Until a chuckle broke through the air. She let out a tired sigh, as she walked away with the hare in her mouth.
"Neither do I Sarafina, he`s hiding something from us, all of us, and im going to find out." She said, it was like a feeling. She knew he was keeping dark dark secrets, and she would be obliged to know.

Sarafina nodded her agreement and chuckled a little at her daughter's appetite.
Scar slumped down atop Pride Rock, letting his eyes droop a little.

All that was left were, well. Bones. But no sooner had she walked two steps from it, the carcass was surrounded by hyenas. But, of course, it was picked clean by her. She gave out a satisfied chuckle and ran over to her mother.
Sarabi nodded back, laughing at Nala. But she let out a low growl towards the hyenas.

Sarafina began laughing, "Stupid dogs." She grinned rolling her eyes before nuzzling Nala. "Shall we go to the Watering Hole?"

"Lets go then, before they Hyenas finally realize that there is no food left on those bones" She gave out a slight laugh, as she began to walk in the direction of the watering hole.

Sarafina followed before turning to Sarabi, "Are you coming?"
Scar watched the hyena's fighting over the bones and chuckled. Nala certainly was a very unique lioness.

"Okay then" She chuckled, walking alongside Sarafina. "I wish, things were different.." She muttered
Nala soon arrived at the water hole, to find it completely dry. "Huh? Where did all the water go?" She cocked her head to the side, looking for the slightest drop of water. But there was nothing.

"Scar." Sarafina growled under her breath padding into the ditch and starting to dig in hopes of finding water underground.

"Im afraid we may have to go further out for water Sarafina" She informed her friend, and glancing at the barren waterhole.
Nala said nothing, panic in her eyes.

She gave a sigh of lost hope, sitting down, and looking at the floor.
She let out a low growl. Her eyes filled with hate. "Why?" She questioned herself, falling to the floor with a thump.

Sarafina went to Nala and ran her paw along her daughter gently. "We'll figure something out. GO back to Pride Rock with Sarabi and I'll stay here, try to do some digging. See if we can get anything."

"Come Nala" She stated, walking away, beckoning Nala over to her.
Nala said goodbye to her mother, before running to catch up with Sarabi.

Sarafina watched after Sarabi and Nala before padding to the centre of the watering hole and starting to dig, looking for a geyser or anything that would give water, hot or cold.
Scar sat up when he saw Sarabi and Nala but no Sarafina. He stood up and gazed behind them only to see a hyena come up behind them snarling. Scar raced down from Pride Rock and straight to Nala and Sarabi. He shoved past them and snarled at the hyena. Anything to make a good impression on the younger lioness.

Nala continued to walk with Sarabi, until she turned round letting out a quiet yell, as a hyena stood behind them snarling. Until Scar shoved past the duo, and split them up, and the hyena was soon confronted. She gave a sigh of relief, and a thankyou to Scar, before continuing to walk away with Sarabi, the former Queen of the Pridelands. But. there was nothing to take Pride in anymore, all the lands were ruined, and there were hardly any prey at all.

Scar watched the hyena run off before following after the two lionesses.
Sarafina eventually hit a geyser and the ground began to tremble before a strong spurt of water went skyward and starting to fill the hole in the ground steadily. She let out a cry of happiness and ran to high ground.

Sarabi soon found somewhere to rest, as she laid down, alongside Nala. She smiled. As Nala laid down beside her. "So how have you been?" She asked quizzically.
"Well.. its been.. strange.. without.. Simba here.." She mumbled, noticing Sarabis distant look. As a look of sadness formed on Sarabis face.

Sarafina began heading back to Pride Rock, she reached Scar and told him of the water.
The King nodded once at Sarafina before watching the lioness run off to find Sarabi and Nala.

"Mom over here" She called, towards her mother, smiling at her, although Sarabi still looked sad. You could almost see her on the verge of tears.

"Hm? How did you find it? The area was barren and horribly dry" She questioned, puzzled as to how water could have possibly filled the watering hole again.
"Good job mom" She said, nuzzling her mother back happily.

"There was a geyser ready to blow. I just needed to do a bit of digging in the mud. It was right out in the centre though. I don't know how long it'll last but we have water for now. We should go and drink now before it goes. It is a little dirty but it's still water." Sarafina replied.

"I'll go tell the lionesses. Stay close to Nala." Sarafina called to Sarabi before hurrying off to Pride Rock and rousing the lionesses who followed her quickly, their tongues lolling out at the thought of something refreshing for them.
Scar watched the Pride unsure as to what was going on.
