My posts seem to have frozen at 36, while I've counted a total of 39 (including this one). I don't know what's going on haha x3
Edit: I'm not sure actually. I just don't know if some posts are counted or not gaaah.

Just to answer the question in case any new members are noticing/wondering the same thing. A while back we had introduced a system to the forum where only posts in certain areas counted toward your post count.
It came from a fact that people were posting in the games section and their post counts were shooting up really high really fast. We had wanted the post count to show a members activity in the forum on the RP side, i.e. the more posts they had, the more it would indicate how much they have/are RPing, which is what the forum was originally founded on (although it has grown a lot and added a lot more since it's initial founding).
To my knowledge this system is still in place at the moment though it's been a good while since I've given it any thought.
So yeah, that should clear things up for anyone wondering.

Well it's nice to see that people are enjoying the new ranks anyway and no Zor, you're post count and rank aren't being brought into question. As I already said it's been a while since it had been added to the forum, given that so much has been changed on TLKGO and that the proboards systems themselves have also had changes over the years, it's quite possible that the post system is no longer operational, not that I'm sure anyone really care anymore ;P

with a few tests put in place, it seems post counts are going towards some things and not the other. I will have a look into and make sure everything is included into the post counts except the game threads =3

Well that was messed up xD,
Game threads were counting posts but Out of Africa had them disabled xD I have Decided only to disable post count on game threads as "Out of Africa" shows at least some community contribution.

I think that might have been because originally the game threads were a part of Out of Africa..... or something just as weird. xD I can't exactly remember, the forum categories have changed so many times since the not-counting-posts-on-game-threads feature was implemented. xP Either way, nicely done, TL!  |
