So, any fans out there who wanna discuss the perfection of this musical? <3
I happened to see it on stage for the first time (hopefully not the last) on Saturday. It was...to say the least...ABSOULETLY EPIC AND BEAUTIFUL AND AMAZING AND ASDFGHJKL.
Anyway...my introduction to Les Mis came through the movie, then I started reading the book (which I'm over halfway through) and to top it all off, I've seen the real deal.

I'm dying to see it on stage! I've not started reading it yet but I'm going to try to soon once I've read The Mortal Instruments again.

I've only seen the film, but I loved it, and it would be awesome to see the stage production too :3 I've thought about reading the book, but it seems like such a huge undertaking and I don't have the time to get into something like that at the moment xD I'm thinking maybe next summer or something, haha. But, yeah, I really like the story and characters. Valjean and Enjolras are my favourite characters; I love a good character development and I can't resist a classic "hero", "fighting for what I believe in no matter what" type character

Gives you a whole lotta information. The musical gives you a bit more than the film as well actually. Having gone into the fandom, the 'Barricade Boys' are the popular characters. My favourites would have to be Enjolras, Grantaire, Courfeyrac and Combeferre. The Enjolras in the cast I saw was Swedish! And he was fabulous.
