Clary stepped back as the brothers calmed and took her place beside Zeb, loyally. "It'll take a lot. Wingu, you need to talk the pride into helping us." She pointed out.

Clary gave Wingu a small snarl. "Well what do you two plan on doing? It's dangerous with only three of us."

Clary followed Wingu's gaze and felt her blood run cold, stood on the mountaintop looking down on the trio was a large male lion with a chunk of his ear missing and a scar that run the length of the left side of his face, a cold sneer was on his lips. "We need to get the pride and now." Clary said slowly, not looking away from the lion.

"No, no, no! Run!" Zeb shouted, when he noticed the lion standing on the mountain top. Wingu paled too, and started running towards some trees.
"Faster, Clary! If he catches us, we are toast."

Clary bounded after the two brothers as the lion raced down the mountain, he caught up to Clary and headbutted her side causing her to cry out in pain before she rounded on him and the pair began to fight, their claws unsheathed, eyes narrowed and murderous snarls on the lips of both big cats.

"NO!" Zeb roared, and sprinted back to Clary. He leaped, just wanting to buy more time for Clary.

"Zeb!" She yelped, she made to go to Zeb but a warning from Wingu sent her following him, limping slightly as she did.

Clary stopped following Wingu, "Please let me go back for Zeb." She begged, ignoring the pain in her side.

Clary sighed in relief and ran to greet Zeb nuzzling him easily. "I'm so glad you're okay." She paused for a moment thinking things through. "I don't want to raise the cubs alone." She finished slowly before licking him softly and turning back to Wingu, "Which way now?" She asked him.

Zeb was a little shocked, when Clary mentioned cubs, but he just padded along.
"Here we go."Wingu said and started climbing up a steep cliff, to get inside a cave.

Clary was amused by the fact Zeb hadn't realised what she said but padded alongside him until Wingu stopped outside a cave. Clary padded forward a little and poked her head inside warily, looking around.

Clary stalked off on her own, feeling hungry she started hunting an antelope fawn whose mother was a short distance away with the others.
