OOC: I have a buffer of these built up from the last run of this RP, so I'll pretty much be posting them to begin with xP
IC: ”Hah ha! Alright! Ready, Amy? Geronimo!”
The Doctor bounced merrily around the large TARDIS console and pressed buttons, turned switches, wound up levers, rang bells and occasionally even hit it with a hammer. The controls on the large six-sided board seemed to be made up of random little objects, gathered through various periods of Earth time. A typewriter, a glass orb, a bell, a telephone… The Doctor seemed to be activating them all at random, but he knew exactly what he was doing. Soon enough the familiar ‘bang!’ and ‘whoosh’ of the time machine sounded, and they were off.
The TARDIS, its full name being ‘Time And Relative Dimension In Space’, Type 40, may have looked like an ordinary 1950s blue police box from the outside, but it was truly anything but ordinary. The TARDIS was a time machine in disguise, the inside was bigger than the outside, and it was piloted by none other than the Doctor - a Time Lord. The last of the Time Lords... He was nearly a thousand years old, but looked like an ordinary - well, not exactly ordinary - human and appeared to be young, not past his thirties.
The time machine was now rocking back and forth as it roared through the time vortex and the passengers would as usual hang on for dear life to not fall onto the floor. The Doctor didn’t mind; in fact he loved it. He could go anywhere, in any time. There was an endless universe out there – and he wanted to see it all!
This time they were going to Planet 1, the oldest planet in the universe. “There is a cliff wall there!” the Doctor shouted over the noise to his current travelling companion – a human girl from Scotland named Amy Pond. “And there is some writing on that cliff! Nobody knows wh--“ The TARDIS suddenly shook violently. The Time Lord reached for the typewriter on the console, pressed buttons until it went ‘ding!’ and the shaking calmed down again. “Whew! As I was saying, there is a cliff wall there with writing on it, and nobody knows what it says because nobody’s ever translated it – until now! Hah ha!” The TARDIS could translate any language, spoken or written, through telepathy, so once they had landed, reading the oldest message in the universe would be a piece of cake. It was only odd that he hadn’t thought of doing this before.
The rocking stopped and the engines died down, which meant that they had landed and it was safe to let go of the console… The Doctor smirked and adjusted his braces and bow tie. Behind those small white doors at the edge of the big room was a brilliant, brand new world. Something he had never seen before! This moment would never stop being exciting. The Time Lord looked over at Amy, then nodded towards the doors. “Well, go on then!” he said. He would let her have the honours this time.

If it wasn't one thing it was another. She never had a moments peace with the Doctor, Never a moment to herself. She felt like an animal, and The Doctor was a zoo keeper, she felt homesick and alone, even though she knew she had The Doctor... But did she really have him... only time would tell. The sleep left her in a flash, she had been having a recurring nightmare, She was home, watching a snake, slowly and silently snaking towards her, watching her the whole time, yet she was oblivious. Slowly it closed the gap, moving closer and closer towards Amy. It coiled up, ready to strike. Turning at a sound, she saw the snake and gasped, she never liked snakes, it flew towards her with frightening speed. SMACK. She was on the ground, the snake no where to be seen, but a fury foot lay on her chest, her eyes still closed, she felt a soft lick on her cheek, a growl, and she was awake. Sitting bolt upright, shaking the sleep from her eyes, she knew the Doctor was speaking but she didn't know what. THUD. That familiar sound, that they had landed somewhere. More importantly, sometime. Staying near motionless for a few moments, Amy finally heard The Doctor speak “Well, go on then!” The melodious voice finally bringing her round. Looking into The Doctor's eyes, Amy said, her voice almost at a whisper What? she asked, not knowing what he meant. Standing up, she didn't notice the slight slant of the TARDIS, and that she was still half asleep, so stumbled around, coming close to The Doctor, her expression becoming one of fear and sadness. --- Kiara --- Kiara was still sleeping when most of the pride had woken. She was different now the times had changed. The Pridelands were peaceful again and the outsiders had joined the pride or left to start their own. She had Kovu as a mate and future King, she didn't see how anything could go wrong. She dreamt that night, a dream that had become more serious every time she had it. The same night every month. The night before the full moon. She dreamt that a new lioness had walked into the Pridelands, and she was very pretty. A lioness that was wounded and almost dead from exhaustion. She dreamt the pride took her in and helped her become well again, and many months ago, the dream, would have ended there, but slowly it became longer. The next month, it was Kovu who helped her get better. The month after that the Lioness kissed Kovu for helping her. The following month he kissed her back. Summer was coming around again, and the dreams became more frequent, once a week. This was her fourth this month. The first week the new Lioness went hunting with the pride and took command of the hunting party, which was now Kiara's job as future queen. The next week her parents announced they were stepping down from the throne and that Kiara and Kovu were the new king and queen. The week before, She hadn't seen Kovu in her dream but had heard the lionesses talking about him doing things. This weeks was worst. She had walked in on the new Lioness and Kovu acting like mates, Kissing and talking romantically. Kiara snapped and ordered the lioness from the lands, But Kovu turned towards Kiara, told her that he had fell in love with this new lioness and that she is the new Queen. He banished her from the Pridelands and that's when she woke up. She was crying when she woke, whimpering like a lost cub, her ears flat and her body shivering. She stood up dizzy and stumbled into the middle of the cave where she fell crying even worse. Deep down she knew something was coming and she had to warn Kovu.. but she couldn't.. her dream had shown her what would happen. She was the future queen, she had a mate and a king, yet all she could do was be a cub. She lay on her side crying, a paw trying to cover her face.

Nala who had been out for a walk to clear her head started up to the top of Pride Rock, she was looking for Simba. They hadn't spent time together alone for a while, she yawned widely in the rising sun before she found herself at the top. She heard a low sob and her motherly instinct kicked in. That was Kiara crying, something she'd started doing more and more frequently, yet everytime Nala asked Kiara would dismiss it. Sighing heavily, hating hearing her daughter in distress she went towards the trembling form, 'Kiara?' Nala said softly when she reached her child.
Kovu had found himself on the outskirts of the Outlands this morning, when he'd woken something hadn't felt right. Cheetahs were in more abundance he'd observed as he'd walked but he'd just dismissed it as being mating season for them so they were gathering together. But as he wandered further and further from Pride Rock he'd noticed a lack in all animals as a whole, antelope, zebra, meerkats, giraffes the lot. Something wasn't right and Kovu wanted to know what it was.

OOC: This is basically a part 1 of 2 posts; otherwise it would've been stupidly long xD
IC: The Doctor felt a sting of bad conscience upon actually seeing Amy's expression. He hadn't noticed that she seemed so... under the weather today. It wasn’t like her to be unhappy. Either way, seeing this new place should cheer her up! Or at least he hoped so; he didn’t quite know what else he could do... Perhaps once they had read the message, Amy could choose a fun new destination for them. That usually did the trick.
“Or I can do it.” the Time Lord said, attempting a reassuring smile, and bounded over to the wall where the entrance was located. Once Amy had followed him there, the Doctor grabbed the two handles on the doors, ready to swing them open. “So, here we are, Amelia Pond. On the oldest planet in the Universe, about to read the oldest message in the Universe! Ready? And here it--!” The Time Lord flung the doors open, but outside was no stunning cliff face with writing. Just dense, green jungle foliage. “...is.” The Doctor’s expression changed to one of confusion. The TARDIS took him astray sometimes, he knew that, but this time he was sure that he had had the right coordinates... It couldn’t have gone wrong... He leaned out of the entrance and turned his head from side to side, trying to figure out where the big massive mountain made of diamond had gone. “It was supposed to be here, at least.” The Doctor stepped outside. It was a warm, lush jungle; very similar to a jungle on Earth, yet somehow different. The air was fresh and the myriad of colourful flowers were all in bloom. The big leaves and huge trees showcased every shade of green imaginable. It was all very placid and beautiful; a perfect oasis of peace, but it wasn’t this that they had come for. The Time Lord scratched his head and looked up and around, still puzzled. In front of them was nothing but probably miles upon miles of jungle, to the sides was nothing but probably the same. So what could be behind them? Surely the same... but it couldn’t hurt to look. The Doctor walked around the little blue box, stopped behind it, then grinned. “Amy!” he shouted over his shoulder. “I found it!”
Just behind the TARDIS was a little gap in the foliage, almost like a hole in the jungle, where one could see some glimpses of the rock wall they were looking for behind some hanging leaves. They were probably by the edge of some other cliff then, where the jungle had to come to an abrupt end. The Doctor waited for Amy to join him. “You’ll like this.” he said and smiled, then parted the overhanging foliage so that they could see. The Doctor raised his eyebrows, surprised. “That’s intere--“
BANG!
Something had gone wrong. Terribly, horribly wrong. He couldn’t see or hear anything; only felt that he was falling, tumbling down something... the edge of the cliff they had been standing on, no doubt. Where was Amy? He couldn’t see! The world was spinning. Was she alright!? There had been a bright light and a shock wave from some kind of explosion had blown them off the edge. The Doctor tried to grab a hold of something, anything, to stop him from going down this hill but failed. Where had that blast come from? From behind them. A feeling of sheer horror struck the Time Lord; it was as if his two hearts might as well have stopped. No. No! NO! Then he hit the ground - not some nice, soft jungle-y ground as he had hoped, but hard, solid earth - and the world faded out.

The sleek lioness sniffed the air, drawing in deep breaths through her nose as she surveyed the land. Kiara and her father had entrusted her with scouting the Pridelands along with Kovu. The dark lion seemed... happy here, even through the events that had led up to this point. The pale lioness flicked an ear, turning to look towards the sound. Just a few cheetahs resting on some flat rocks far way. There'd been no signs of elephants, antelope, or gazelles today, though. It was a bit odd but nothing too out-of-place. Oftentimes the beasts would all go together to take drinks from the waterhole. Her crystalline eyes narrowed as she zeroed in on a familiar figure nearby. His scent was familiar--it was her twin brother. The lioness smirked and flattened her body to the ground, flanking him from one side in an attempt to catch him off-guard.
With a shout she launched herself at him, attempting to tackle him to the ground. She kept her claws sheathed so she wouldn't hurt him, though.

Kovu swung around at the shout and grinned when he saw Vitani. He crouched low a grin plastered across his face, wait for it... he thought and at the last moment just before Vitani was about to dive on him he heard a bang that echoed all around them, causing the birds hidden in trees to scatter painting the sky a black colour. At the same moment Kovu fell to the ground as his sister reached him and he couldn't help the laugh that passed his muzzle.

Amy didn't even smile at the doctor, She knew he was worried about, but that wasn't what was on her mind, she knew something was wrong... something far away yet near. She watched in her minds eye as a blue box appeared and the familiar exterior of the TARDIS materialised in front of her. A bright light and a blistering pain shot through her body.
She arched her back, letting out no noise. She opened her mouth to breath but no air came. It was as if she was drowning, fear washed over her. She was on an unknown planet, an unknown time. The doctor had stepped out of the TARDIS. The world moved in slow motion. She tried to call out to stop him, She tried to reach out to him, but her arms were like lead. He was gone.
The moment he left, the spell broke and Amy was laying on the floor panting heavily. She didn't move, she knew she didn't have the energy nor the motivation to move, until... *tick tick tick* It started... *tick tick tick. BANG* She looked around trying to find the source of the noise. *Screech* The TARDIS engines have started?! Amy thought panicked as she stood up.
A voice began to emanate from deep within the machine. It was cold and hostile, filled with hate and hopelessness. It started speaking in an ancient language, dead to all but the oldest of races. with every syllable it spoke a wave of pain passed through Amy, she ran towards the doors in slow motion.
As she got there the pain intensified. The last word had been spoken and it was shouted above the rest.
Silence... Everything was as if it had never been switched on, even the faint hum of the TARDIS's power core stopped. *tick tick tick* The voice whispered as the Temperature plummeted... "The End Of The Doctor" The ticking started again... it was as if the machine was possessed by some other beings.
The ticking grew faster.... faster, faster! Amy ran into the open ignoring the beauty of the jungle that surrounded her. She looked around for the doctor, only catching the last of his shout. DOCTOR! she shouted as a final wave of pain hit her, this one taking her to her knees "DOC...ROARRRR" To her surprise, her voice became inhuman, animalistic, as she roared like a lion.
The pain lingered and she looked up at the TARDIS. Straight into the heart of time, and she saw it... A blinding white light shot through the doors, an explosion of raw power and time mixed together forming the ultimate weapon. It hit her front on, she didn't stand a chance. As the force of the blast catapulted her backwards a tear solitary tear leaked from her eye.
She had never had the chance to say the one thing she had always know to the one person who had to hear it. She had never told The Doctor, she loved him. His image lingered in her memory, his soft sweet voice, his rash ideas... She hit something hard knowing that was her end. She didn't try to fight the darkness, but in her new found voice of a lion she gasped softly and repeated one word... "Doctor..." Unconsciousness claimed her, Finally she was at peace.
------- Kiara -------
She did't hear her mother approach, her heaving sobs still echoing slightly around the cave. Looking up at the elder lioness with her puffy and wet eyes she smiled weakly and nuzzled into her neck fur softly. "M... Mother" she croaked softly, rumbling a little from the comfort of her mothers fur. She was a cub, she wasn't a queen, not even a princess and she couldn't talk about her problems, she felt stupid for even thinking them. Rubbing against her a little she slowly stopped crying and sat back a little looking a mix of both sad and comforted.

“Doctor!”
Voices...Whispers... Ancient words and long forgotten spells... And an explosion.
“DOCTOR!”
“Uuugh...” That was some headache. How long had he been knocked out for? His body was battered and bruised, aching all over. It was nothing too serious, just rather... irritating. The surroundings were silent. No birdsong, no breeze rustling any leaves, not even the buzzing of insects. The Doctor carefully opened one eye. Everything was still blurry, but the time of day didn't seem to have changed much. The one sun was still shining an early light; it wasn't even past midday yet. Attempting to move a leg, he grimaced. “Lovely...” he thought. “I’m gonna feel this for a while.” Nothing seemed broken, at least. With a sigh he blinked and turned his head away from the sunlight. The Time Lord idly regarded the blurry shape that he knew would be his hand, but without really seeing it as he waited for his vision to clear. He had no idea what had just happened. And that was never good. Those sounds. The words. He faintly recognised them. But... how could that be possible? What exactly had happened? Whatever it was, it was vital that he got off the ground and found out. The blur was slowly fading from his field of vision and the Doctor could see things a little more clearly now. Better get moving and-- ...Why was there a paw there? And why did it also move when he moved his hand? His eyes widened. No. No, no, no, no, that was impossible. Completely impossible. But blinking a few more times didn’t make it go away. Glancing towards his other hand, he found that it too had been replaced with a fluffy paw. He looked to his right hand and to his left, a look of utter confusion on his face. Then he looked back to his right hand. And his left. What? What!? The Doctor shifted to rest on his elbows and looked over his shoulder to find that the rest of him was indeed not its usual self either. This was a completely different body! With fur and paws and four legs and a tail! And so much hair too! A full mane! “Impossible!” he gasped and for a moment was completely flabbergasted, unable to move or think of anything else than the fact that he seemed to have turned into a lion.
A thousand thoughts flashed through his head – had he actually died and regenerated into-- into this? No, no, what a ridiculous thought... Had someone used a type of psychograft and transplanted his mind into this body? No, he would’ve noticed that. And he still felt like himself,just... didn’t quite look like himself. It was still his real body, but it had changed shape. Who could have done this...? And how!? Though, he supposed, if he had to be transformed into something else, a handsome and strong lion wasn’t so bad. Better than a mouse, or a sloth, or an anteater or an ostrich or a... He shook his head to stop that train of thought. Frowning and rubbing his eyes with a newly acquired paw, the Doctor tried to recall what had happened before he fell. Something had definitely exploded. What? It hit him like a tonne of bricks, again. The TARDIS. The TARDIS had been the only thing behind them capable of exploding. The Doctor felt stone cold inside. But, no, there was no time to be paralysed now. There were important things to be done. Where was Amy? He thought he had heard her call for him. Was she all right? She’d better not be hurt... He didn’t know what he would do if she was hurt. Amy was his companion and he had sworn to himself, and to Rory, that he would protect her no matter what. He had brought her here and he would never be able to forgive himself if something had happened to her... This was enough incentive to get moving and, mustering his strength, the leonine Time Lord sprang to his four feet, a little too fast. “Roaaagh!” That hurt. “Ahahaoow. Ow!” That voice was pretty impressive though. And it was strange to be standing on all fours like this, nevermind moving around... “Amy!” he shouted. Good, it seemed he could still talk... “Amy Pond!” No response. He tried again, but it was no use. The jungle was silent. The hill he had tumbled down hadn’t actually been as steep as it had seemed, but it was a long way up... A few feet away was a wide river and on the other side was more jungle. No sign of his companion. Frowning, the Doctor decided he had to climb the hill again. Maybe she hadn’t fallen over the edge, like he had? And he had to see what had happened to – he gulped – to the TARDIS. Slowly, very slowly, he started walking. Co-ordinating four legs instead of two was about as tricky as he had imagined. The climb up the hill was more gruelling than anything he had experienced recently, but it helped getting the main idea of how to use four paws instead of hands and feet. Once over the edge, the Doctor found his worst fears realised. “Oh no. No, no, no, no...” There was the blue box, empty. She was dead. Shattered from the inside. All her power cells, gone. The Doctor slumped down on his tail and stared at the box, the hopelessness welling over him. “What have they done to you, old girl...” He placed a paw on one of the doors and looked up towards the now dimmed ‘Police Box’ letters above. The Doctor sighed and leaned his forehead against the wood. They were stuck. They couldn't run away.
None the less, he still had to find Amy. She wasn't in the immediate area, but she shouldn't be too far away... hopefully... Inside the TARDIS was mainly chaos and rubble, but the Doctor did manage to find his sonic screwdriver, which still worked. He hadn’t, however, figured out a good way to carry it, so it was hidden well to come back for later. The TARDIS was his everything; this couldn't be the end. He had to set things right somehow... Outside again, the Doctor took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. He took another good look at his beloved ship - his home - then turned away to begin his search. “Amy! Answer me, Amy!”

Nala opened her mouth to speak to Kiara but stopped when a large bang echoed around the area. "What on Earth was that?" She exclaimed getting to her paws and hurrying to the side of Pride Rock, looking across the Pridelands. In the distance she could make out a steaming item, it was strange something she'd never seen before. It was a funny shape, a tree maybe? No. It can't be a tree, tree's weren't square a cave? She narrowed her eyes, trying to sharpen her sight to see further. No it couldn't be a cave. It was made of wood, she could make out that much. "Kiara, do you fancy a walk?" Nala said, her gaze locked on the item. "You and I can do your first duty as Queen together. Without a word she hurried down the edge of Pride Rock and started at a run across the wide plains. Any small animals that were nearby scattered as the majestic lioness pushed herself forward, she knew she should check that Kiara was following her but whilst Kiara was getting adjusted to her position of power Nala was continuing the role as Queen herself, to help Kiara.
Eventually she reached the strange item and tilted her head, she pinned her ears back and slowly crept forward, with a cry of surprise she saw an unfamiliar lioness sprawled across the floor. Pinning her ears back Nala stood and just stared at the figure, not wanting to approach it.

There was a sound - a single sound - and the Doctor whipped around to identify it. The snap of a twig usually meant that someone, or something, was approaching and he wasn't exactly in perfect shape for a fight right now... no pun intended... Oh, why did these things happen every time he went somewhere. Not that he didn’t love it, but if something happened to his companion... that was when adventures quickly lost their charm.
But something was definitely coming towards him through the jungle and he instinctively lowered himself to the ground in a battle stance, growling. Then he caught himself making the low sound and quickly stopped. That felt very, very strange, but, natural somehow. Must be a lion thing. The Doctor stayed low and peered through the foliage, trying to see who, or what, was approaching. They had a light step, clearly knew their way around this terrain, and was definitely a quadruped. The sound grew louder and soon enough a lioness appeared, but she carried on past him, seemingly without taking any notice of him; she seemed fixed on something ahead of her... in the direction of the TARDIS. The Doctor frowned, and for a moment he hesitated. He didn't exactly feel like taking on a possibly hostile lioness in battle right now and he needed to concentrate on finding Amy more than anything else. But something told him that he ought to follow her, be it some new-found animal instinct or just plain old intuition, and as silently as he could - which wasn't particularly silent in comparison to the native feline - the Doctor crept after her. He soon caught up, as the lioness had stopped near the clearing where the TARDIS had landed and was staring at something on the ground. Another lion! He didn't know how or why he knew, but he knew. "Amy!" the Doctor roared and leapt forwards, suddenly forgetting all about the other feline. He crouched down beside his companion, nudging her with a paw. Oh, not her too... "Amy! Amy, talk to me! Come on, Pond..." She wasn't responding, and his expression grew ever more worried. "Don't do this, Amelia. Don't do this to me..." Ears drooping, he gently stroked her leonine face before frowning again. What was this ridiculous situation they had ended up in!? He would not stand for it. He would not. Eyes narrowed in a furious glare, the Time Lord looked up and into the jungle, as if expecting to see the enemy step forth from behind the trees. He would find them. He would find them and they would regret this day. The Oncoming Storm was headed their way...
Looking back down at Amy the Doctor's expression softened and he shook her once more, though less gentle this time. "Come on, Amy. Come on..."

Vitani yelped in alarm as a loud bang was heard, ears flattened then perked towards the sound. The little game with her brother was momentarily forgotten as they focused in the direction of the noise. The ex-Outlander lifted a lip in a wary snarl. She looked to her brother, crystalline eyes suddenly serious.
"Go get Kiara and the others, I'll scout it out. Track me back here; you know my scent," she snapped bossily. Her attitude hadn't gotten too nice as a Pridelander; Vitani's sass lasted well into her new life. Without waiting for Kovu to reply, she bounded forward to find the source of the intrusion. It wasn't very long until a strange scent assailed her nostrils, one she could not place; the birds and animals had gone quiet, and in the distance she could hear a male voice screaming and roaring for... something. A male lion. Not knowing whether or not this lion would have fighting skills as she did, she slunk about in the shadows, attempting to get closer for a look. Into the thicket of trees she went, following the strange scents and picking up three more; another odd one, and the familiar scents of Kiara and Nala, Kovu's mate and mother-in-law.
With a bit more pep in her pawsteps, Vitani surged forward, flanking the male from the side. She caught Kiara's eye on the opposite side and nodded shortly, growling at the newcomer. He was frantically pawing at the female lying unconscious on the ground, calling what sounded like a name over and over. The pale lioness's features softened as she watched the pitiful scene, ears flattening and hackles lowering.
"Hey, cut it out," she snapped. Well, she wasn't the best at showing her emotions... "We've got a shaman back at our home, you can take her there." Vitani remembered that Pride Rock was not HER land, however, and gave Nala an apologetic look. "Uh, that is, if it's all right with the royalty..."

(Ok, Going to try something a little different in this post, Once Kiara reaches the scene, I'm going to unsplit the post, so if it gets confusing, Just let me know and I'll edit it back to normal)
Hear tears cleared in an instant, the loud explosion in the distance didn't only throw her senses, but a heightened fear also filled her. She didn't speak, she didn't look around she just nodded to her mother and stood, Slowly but surely. Watching her mother stride away, she couldn't help but admire her sleek and majestic form, she knew why everyone respected her so and why it would take her such a long time to be queen.
Realising the Immediate danger the lands were in, she darted forwards after her mother, while she was not as well built and as strong as Nala was, she was quick and agile and soon caught up to her heels as they ran across the planes, arriving not long after Vitani would have. Looking around to get her bearings, she saw a strange coloured lion shouting a name and pawing at a female, who seemed to be stirring slowly. Walking forwards, passing her mother, she approached the two newcomers and watched intently, the other females face covered by the males paw.
She knew something wasn't right, but she didn't know what, Something about the lioness seemed off, different some how. A shiver ran down her spine as a silent figure darted behind them in the shadows of the forest, it slunk back as to not be seen but it too watched them all, non more so that the new male and female.
The female laying on the floor mewed a little, obviously in pain and completely disorientated. She opened her eyes to a blinding light after being under for so long, the searing light almost causing her even more pain. Finally adjusting to the light, she realised everything seemed more vivid, brighter colours than before and her field of view was wider. Standing before here there were many different lioness and a lion calling her name. Not caring they were lions she lowly looked around cricking her neck as she caught a gimps of her body, It was covered in a golden sand colour. This is when she chose to react. Almost jumping to her feet from laying on the ground, she stood, abet for only a moment as she took in her own sleek and athletically built form. Whimpering in shock and fear, she span around and tried to run a little to see her reflection in the TARDIS console, that's when two questions crossed her mind "Where is the Doctor, and Where is the TARDIS?"
She looked around again, Backing away from the crowd as she caught Kiaras gaze, for the first time. They looked inquisitionally at each other, almost identical. A small growl raised in Kiaras throat, she was the lioness from her dreams, It was all coming true. Amy on the other paw backed off a little., Something seemed so different about that lioness, she could barely contain herself. Hearing her name again, Amy turned to the doctor as Kiara started at her. "Meoww?" she said "Doctor?" looking confused, She sounded like a cat, she couldn't speak and she was lone, Scared, and lost. Stepping backwards quickly, she tripped over her paws, she wasn't used to walking on four legs yet, and she couldn't stand again, she was in tears, the growl still in Kiaras throat.

Kovu appeared moments after Vitani did and ran straight to Kiara's side, his gaze locked on the two unfamiliar forms in front of him. Another male who could be a threat, he wasn't as well built as Kovu was but that meant nothing and a lioness who was small and lean seemed extremely clumsy considering the way she fell backwards into Kiara, much to Kovu's amusement of course. As Kiara growled he rubbed her cheek with his nose gently, trying to calm her before he turned his attention back to the others. The lion kept saying the words 'Amy' over and over again and when 'Amy' eventually spoke she uttered a pathetic mew. Kovu scoffed and narrowed his eyes before turning his attention to the mysterious box which had stirred all the trouble in his homeland.
Eventually Kovu spoke, directing his cold tone towards the male. "Who are you and what are you doing here? You don't belong around this lands, you don't smell right. Who brought you here too? You smell of humans." He growled, instinctively standing beside Kiara protectively. His black mane became ruffled slightly as a gentle breeze blew around the group. Kovu was about to demand that the newcomers answer immediately but was distracted by a dark form darting through the trees just behind the two new lions. A fast form, very agile and quick in the way it ran by the looks of it. Kovu was about to watch the running form, see where it was heading so he could head in the general direction, but in a blink of an eye it was gone. "You're strange object has disturbed these lands." Kovu said coldly, he narrowed his green eyes, the eyes of a killer, even though he wasn't related to Scar his father or another family member must have had said green eyes, which glinted with untold secrets. The eyes that made everyone assume he was the son of Scar. The eyes that made him feel no trust or respect towards the two newcomers as he stared at them, his patience growing thinner by the minute.

Nala smiled at Vitani, "We can take her home, however this doctor may be able to heal his mate himself, his name does suggest he is a healer. However if he thinks she isn't fit enough to travel we can bring Rafiki to her." She fixed her gentle gaze on the new duo and smiled sweetly. "My mate, Simba would normally make these decisions but recently he's been unable too, so I've been doing it." Her expression would being sad for a moment before she replaced it with a small smile. She hadn't seen Simba for a while now and she was beginning to wonder where he was and if he was okay. Shaking the thoughts away she looked directly at the Doctor, "Well, what do you think?" She asked curiously.

"Amy!" Finally she responded and the Doctor couldn't help but utter a sigh of relief. Not that there was much to be relieved over, really, but this was a step in the right direction. It pained him to see how frightened she looked - and why shouldn't she? - but this seemed not to be the Amy Pond he knew... the confident, fearless Scottish girl, who was always so brave. Did she even recognise him?
A little "Meoww?" was the only sound to come out of her mouth.
The Doctor raised his eyebrows in surprise. Was that an attempt at communication? Couldn't she speak, like he could? She seemed to be focused on something behind them and the Doctor turned his head to find that there was not only one lioness watching them, but a whole pride. "...Ah." If any of them had made a sound until now, he hadn't noticed, which was unusual for him... It was difficult to tell from a glance whether or not they were hostile, but since they seemed calm enough at the moment, the Time Lord turned back to his companion. She still seemed very afraid and as she recoiled, supposedly from the sight of the lions, she ended up tripping over her own paws and fell to the ground. The Doctor leapt forward and tried to catch her the best he could with his new awkward arms. "Amy! Amy, it's me, the Doctor." She was scared, so scared. He hugged her close, then tried to help her up, looking into her eyes with as composed an expression as he could muster. "Look at me. I know it's hard, but stay calm. You have to stay calm." He then gently let go of her, hoping she would stay upright, and turned around to face the lions. The only male in the company, a fearsome, dark-maned feline, spoke up.
"Who are you and what are you doing here? You don't belong around this land, you don't smell right. Who brought you here too? You smell of humans."
His tone was harsh and almost without needing to even think about it, the Doctor took a step to stand protectively in front of Amy. "I'm the Doctor." he replied "And this is Amy. We're... travellers." He tried to sound as neutral as he could, since after all, he didn't yet know whether this group was of the friendly or the unfriendly kind. One of the lionesses then spoke, the same lioness that the Doctor had followed here. She had a gentle voice, seemed kind and the Time Lord relaxed a little.
"We can take her home, however this doctor may be able to heal his mate himself, his name does suggest he is a healer. However if he thinks she isn't fit enough to travel we can bring Rafiki to her."
"Oh, no, no, no, she's not my mate!" the Doctor quickly replied, flustered. Everyone always made that assumption, didn't they? Amy belonged to someone else and she knew that as well as he did, only... she didn't remember it right now... He dismissed all thoughts of Rory for the moment and was about to reply, but the lioness spoke again.
"My mate, Simba would normally make these decisions but recently he's been unable too, so I've been doing it."
The Doctor looked at the group, scanning them one by one. There was the green-eyed lioness, who seemed to be the leader. This 'Simba' was probably the king of the pride, which would make her a queen, going by how the others seemed to respect her. Next to her was a blue-eyed, almost scruffy-looking lioness and the dark-maned male, who still eyed the Time Lord suspiciously. Those two had to be related; their expressions were so similar. But, more interestingly, the final lion was a golden lioness whose gaze seemed fixed upon Amy. Her face wore a frown and was that... a growl? It would seem natural, of course, to be wary of strangers, but something about her told him that it wasn't just a defensive act. The Doctor turned his attention back to the green-eyed lioness. It was a good offer, and a friendly one, and a friend was exactly what they needed right now. Besides, Amy's well-being was priority one. "We'll come with you. A walk will do us good, don't you think, Amy?" He turned to look at her, giving her a reassuring smile. At least he hoped it looked reassuring. Something else was lurking out here. And whatever it was, the Doctor felt they had to get away from it, quickly.

She didn't know what was going on, the small squeak of a meow was her voice, She knew it was the voice of a cat, she knew that they were cats, so why had non of them responded to her as they were all speaking in grunts and growls just like she was. Vaguely she could understand them talking, she didn't pay much attention to them, all she could do was try and let her mind clear, take a moment to assess the situation; she couldn't think straight however, the old spell still causing her some pain and discomfort, along with the pride of lions watching her, she slunk away, much to the pleasure of one particular lioness of the pride.
Watching the pride through the corners of her eyes, Kiara almost smiled, they were forcing the outsiders to answer why they had disturbed them, disturbed their hunting grounds, why they were here at all. But all through the time they waited, she was there, she looked on in misery, confusion and pain? None of that mattered to her, all she cared about was the fact she was weak, and harmless. Taking a decisive step forwards, the ground shook a little, a buzz, a gentle hum like electric building in the atmosphere. Neither her or Amy knew why, but they both heard it, they both looked around before locking eyes once again.
He watched over the proceedings, smirking to himself. They were all but at each others throats and they had only just met. Noticing a Kitling at his side, he smirked, he knew the rest of his people would be watching now, planning and plotting and waiting, for their time to strike. Yet through it all, he knew they were all watching the new female, the one that had just landed and the one who was injured, hurt. The buzzing was of no concern to him, he was talking to his people, and they were plotting, a smirk rising to his lips as his claws unsheathed, hidden in the shadows.
As the Kiara watched over the scene, the cheetah waited in the shadows and Amy cowered slightly, The doctor approached the newly feline Amy. Concern in his voice, he hugged her, and for a moment, Amy didn't know what to think. She was scared, she knew he was the doctor but something clouded her judgement, it was as if he was a rouge lion to her and she didn't want anything to do to him. He was speaking to her, but she didn't register his words, she stared into his eyes, lost and alone. Something was buzzing in the back of her head, she couldn't place it but something was different about him, and she didn't know what. She couldn't stop herself though, she rested her head on his shoulder, buried in his fluffy mane, a single tear rolling down her cheek.
As the buzzing grew, the two felines locked eyes again, the shaking became a little more prominent, the atmosphere becoming tenser by the moment. Amy backed away a little, scared almost as she almost touched the forest's shadow as Kiara advanced upon her slowly. the words of her pride buzzing about here head, one particular phrase stuck in her mind. "We can take her home, however this doctor may be able to heal his mate himself, his name does suggest he is a healer. However if he thinks she isn't fit enough to travel we can bring Rafiki to her." With a growl in her throat, drowned out by the buzzing, she roared out for silence, Looking over the pride, and the female. "She will not travel with us, and she will not have Rafiki's help, She is an outcast, and so will not be helped." The defiant glare on her muzzle, eyes locked on the other female head, If she could help it, her dreams would not get any where near Kovu, she would not get any where near her pride and she would certainly not be her concern. Yet through it all, she felt a pang of sorrow and doubt in her decision. She saw how the female was scared and worried, resting her head on her companion. She almost wanted to say sorry, to let her come with her but her dreams had other consequences. She had always been taught to trust her instincts, to be ruthless when need to benefit the pride. This would benefit the pride, how couldn't it? She was about to get rid of a troublemaker, a destroyer and her companion. She couldn't back down and she couldn't take her home. She had to stay.
She needed to run, but the commanding roar stopped her, her back legs giving way under her, sitting down in an awkward fashion, Turning her head out of the Doctors mane, her own head resting under his chin in a loving and almost romantic fashion, she still cowered a little, looking up with heavy eyes to the Queen of the pride. As she spoke, Amy knew exactly who she was talking about, yet she couldn't concentrate, she could hear the rustle of leaves behind her, turning her head back into the doctors mane, there was another explosion, the spell finalising, locking the newcomers in place, in specie, the ground violently shaking beneath them, the buzz becoming a snap after the explosion, silencing itself after a moment. The violent shaking of the ground caused her to move, shakily she ended up in open ground between the Doctor and the rest of the pride, she looked around quickly, trying to keep her balance as best she could, shaking all the wile, even more so from the shaking ground.
A chant formed in his head, a chant of his people, they needed the new ones, they didnt care how dependant of each other they were, they just needed them, Both. There was one way he could do it, a soft 'sheen' sound of unsheathing claws sounded, the rustle of leaves growing softly as he approached her, darting forwards after the explosion, the ground still shaking, his jub made all the easier by the female moving into the open ground in the middle of the circle, slicing at her flank, neck and stomach in a blur of gold and black spots, he darted off into the distance using the speed his people had developed over years on the planet, his paws dripping with a deep purple blood, he laughed, returning home, the Kitling showing his people the aftermath before it too, slunk away, returning home to be with it's people.
A howl of pain erupted from her throat, she felt claws ripping through her fur and skin, and the soft trickle of blood oozing from the cuts. Not knowing what was happening, she instinctual curled herself up, avoiding the slash to her neck, yet her flank and stomach were badly cut, and she wouldn't be moving any time soon she feared. Writhing in pain, she snarled and cried out, the scent of her own blood hitting her nose, looking down at her body she saw soft golden white fur matted with thicker purple. Purple blood, another mystery of the planet and her transformation, scared, she snarled again, looking to Kiara for help; who just simply stood there, and watched.
Something had just happened, and Kiara didn't know what. She stared at the scene unfolding below her, taking a tentative step back, her own claws unsheathing in a defensive stance. Replaying the event over in her own minds eye over and over, a question rose as the two felines caught glances at each other. "Do I go back on my word and help her?"

"Oh no, no, no, she's not my mate!" The doctor exclaimed and Nala shot him an apologetic look. "A walk will do us good." He went on to say and Nala nodded, she made to set off when Kiara stepped in and begin treating Amy with pure hostility. Nala growled at her daughter but it went unheard as Kiara continued snarling and insulting Amy.
"She will not travel with us, and she will not have Rafiki's help, She is an outcast, and so will not be helped." Kiara announced and Nala look at her in shock before slinking forward and standing before her daughter.
"Do I have to remind me half of our Pride were outcasts? Your mate was an outcast." Nala snapped, furious with her daughter,"You should know better, your father and I raised you to be respectful of all in our Kingdom, only to be so rude and ruthless when someone means genuine harm, this lioness is injured, weak and terrified so you should treat her kindly, if you don't realize that, then your father and I will have to reconsider stepping down as soon as were intending to. Wait until your mature a little and learn to treat everyone equally. Nala continued, scolding Kiara.
There was a sudden cry of pain from Amy and Nala swung around, just in time to see a blur race past them, Nala's strong eyesight created a slight outline around the figure and she saw it was a cheetah, but different to most. "Kovu, take the pride and our guests to Pride rock." She ordered, deliberately addressing him rather than Kiara, "Send a lioness to get Rafiki, I'll return shortly." With that the Queen turned on her heels, separating herself from the Pride and following after the blur that had attacked Amy, her paws pounding on the ground, dirt being kicked up behind her as she ran with all her strength, it was lucky she was so lean and quick, that was why she was one of the better hunters of the Pride. As she ran she soon lost sight of the blur and slowed her pace to a trot before she stopped, she panted heavily and bowed her head as she begin sniffing, trying to detect the familiar scent of the fellow big cat but was greeted by an unusual scent, it was like a mixture of the scent big cats had which was, blood, rain and nature but had an unfamiliar, almost metallic scent joined in it. Swallowing hard as her breathing slowed Nala set off again in, following the unfamiliar scent, her tread slow and wary as she stepped into unfamiliar territory. She lowered her torso to the ground and crept into a copse of bushes, her body concealed completely she looked out, waiting patiently for any sign of life.
Kovu watched as the aggression of Kiara unfolded and Nala stepped in just before an unfamilar frame raced between them, causing the new lioness to howl in pain. "Kovu, take the pride and our guests to Pride rock." Nala demanded and Kovu nodded respectfully to the Queen as she continued, "Send a lioness to get Rafiki, I'll return shortly." He then watched as Nala raced off after the creature with speed that surprised him greatly. "Kiara, you go and get Rafiki." Kovu said, slightly harsher than he intended. The dark coloured lion turned to the two travellers. "Please, follow me. He padded over to the duo and past them shouting commands to various Pride members until they eventually formed a protective circle around the duo. "Can you manage with the girl? Kovu asked The Doctor as he started to lead the way slowly. Glancing over his shoulder at the retreating figure of Nala before he turned his attention to his mate, giving her an almost pleading look, before he looked directly at The Doctor and Amy. "I can help you if necessary." Kovu continued, his tail swishing as he walked.
A new lioness who had grabbed the handle of the TARDIS moments before it set off clung on for dear life, began to stir, she groaned loudly and opened her eyes blinking a few times before trying to stand before she got an awful head rush which caused her to collapse back onto the ground, she was somewhere unfamiliar and her senses seemed heightened, she could smell something but couldn't quite figure out what. Trying again she slowly raised her head and managed to hold it upright, shutting her eyes quickly she waited for the ground to stop spinning beneath her feet, as the lioness waited she realized her feet felt different, lighter slightly, opening a single eye, she slowly lowered her gaze to look at her feet only to see they were paws now. Riversong yelped and jumped upright, instantly regretting it as she staggered, unsteadily before falling to one side and slamming her side against a tree trunk. She cried out in pain but the cry sounded like a roar. Riversong, her head still spinning looked around before noticing a small puddle. She waited for a few moments for the pain in her side to cease before she approached the puddle and looked down, gasping at her reflection. A lion- she was a lion? There were still hints of human Riversong though, her chest and underbelly were curls and waves and her fur was a tawny colour yet all her markings were a beige colour, her grey eyes were still shaped the same way, but only someone who really knew her would realise that.
Riversong padded out from the trees that had been concealing her and looked around, she made to walk forward when a single lioness ran past her, her tawny fur was lighter than what she knew of lions fur and all her markings were a cream colour, she ran with such speed and grace that Riversong could only watch in awe as she raced past her, in hot pursuit of something that she had clearly only just missed, with a low grumble in her throat she padded off, "Spoilers." She muttered to herself as she walked along, stumbling a little as she tried to get used to walking on four paws rather than two feet. That man she called her husband had a lot of explaining to do.

Cheetah People. Cheetah People. The Doctor grimaced and most of all wanted to find something solid to bang his head against. How could he have been so blind? Of course it had been them. It had been them all along. The ancient words, it all made sense... They had gotten stronger since they last met. Much stronger.
It had all happened so fast and there had been no time to stop the attack. The Doctor had leapt for the blurred form, but it had been a vain attempt. He knew he couldn't stop it... He snarled - another unfamiliar sensation, but it felt right none the less - and had just enough time to spot the small Kitling as it slunk away into the shadows. Another blurred form shot past him and disappeared into the thick vegetation before the Time Lord had time to stop her either. "No! Don't!" he shouted, but it was to deaf ears "Don't go in... there..." He exhaled sharply, frustrated, but there was nothing he could do. Typical. Just typical.
A loud, terrible scream of agony broke the silence. The Doctor whipped around to find his worst fears realised. "Amy!" He dashed to her side, hearts racing, and, leaning down, tried to look at her wounds as best as he could. ...Purple? "Ah, this is not good. Very, very not good..." The cuts were deep, but hadn't caught any vital places... he thought? Lion anatomy wasn't his strongest side, but... it would be okay, right? Right? The Time Lord realised that he suddenly found himself in a most unusual situation. He did not know what to do. And that would not do!
"Please, follow me." It was the dark-maned male who spoke. The pride had formed a circle around them, for protection. "Can you manage with the girl?
The Doctor stopped in his tracks. Indeed. Could he? How would he...? Hm. There was nothing else to it, he supposed. She would have to be carried. Awkward, but there was no other way. "Yes..." he replied slowly to Kovu's question and proceeded to getting Amy to get onto his back. "I'm sorry." he said to her quietly "This is the only way." The Doctor turned to the lions once more. "Let's get going." It would be a slow, most agonising walk, and he hoped it wouldn't be too far to wherever they were going... He glanced over his shoulder to the golden lioness who had shown such contempt towards Amy. Who was she? And why was she doing what she was doing? He would most definitely find out later. For now, they had to get out of immediate harm's way. He could only hope that no more Cheetah People were hiding in the woods around them...

(Wibbly wobbely timey wimey stuff got in the way! Sorry folks! This is the first day I’ve actually been able to think about this rp. I think I remember roughly what's going on, if something doesn't make too much sense, then I do apologise and I’ll fix it by Wednesday 4th 2009 P.S. Please ignore the last paragraph of my last post, this is sort of a better replacement but the feeling stands) Through both fear, and shock, the young queen to be stammered slightly as her mother scolded her. She KNEW she was right, she knew this lioness would tear her pride to be apart and she didn't want that. Things were only just getting back to normal after the war between the two former prides and she didn't want that to all fall apart now, even if it was too late. Within moments of finishing her last sentence, her mother shot off. She was getting old now, but even when Kiara became queen, she knew her mother would still be leading the hunting party; she was graceful, sleek and absolutely stunning to watch. That was when she heard her mate almost grunting towards her, she knew she must have hit a nerve after her scalding, but she had to protect her pride, even if it did mean hurting those closest to her. She was almost watching behind a glass wall as Kovu walked towards the Male and now injured female, she wanted to scream out, to scream no, she held her tongue. Just. Finally registering what her mate had said, she turned slowly, almost confused and sad, darting off towards where her mother had just sprinted, that was the way to Rafiki's tree, or so she thought. As she ran, she took one look over her shoulder at her mate, helping the wounded lioness onto her mates back. 'The Doctor? Did he call himself?' she grumbled in thought. Even through all her dreams, he wasn't there.... well maybe once, hidden in the shadows, holding something in his maw, what she didn't know. The rout was almost like second nature to her. Simba had insisted she learn the ways of the healer as a cub, just to keep her out of trouble. she loved the smell of all the herbs and healing flowers on the way to there, it calmed her, made her forget her worries, if only for a moment or two. Almost skipping instead of sprinting, she looked up as she had done, as they all had done every day for weeks now. The sky was a deep hued orange, all the time. a perpetual sunset as more and more different coloured discs appeared in the sky. None of them knew what they were, not even Rafiki and he knew Everything; just not what 'they' where. There was only one downside to knowing the rout like the back of her paw, she didn't look where she was going. Having strayed off the path, just slightly, she ended up where the TARDIS landed, ploughing straight into a new lioness, tackling her to the ground. Not as if Kiara would have known it though, she landed in a rather bushy, curly creamy coloured bush of River Songs chest fur. After a moment, she would rise slowly from the fur still convinced it was a bush as she dusted herself off, looking around seeing a deep blue box with a faintly flashing light on it. Walking over to it slowly she would circle it a few times, wondering how it got there before taking a step back, ending up right next to the other lioness. Slowly she would turn her head, sensing something was not right. with a brief gulp she smiled in her rather cub-like innocent smile and said but a single word "Hello" All the while, Amy was almost completely out of it. Her battered and damaged form slumped over The Doctors back, her blood seeping into his fur, matting it and her own fur. soft grunts and groans would emanate from her throat as she was lionhandled into position for her journey to 'The Doctors' as she saw it in her mind. She chuckled inwardly to herself and let herself go completely limp, knowing at this stage, refusal to co-operate would only cause her more pain, to her and the other lioness that had since departed. Slowly, she would drift into unconsciousness and gasp slightly; the last noise she made before falling under would be a small, faint and untranslatable meow

OOC: Oh, look, a post... xP
IC: They walked in tense silence. The lions were on the alert - looking, listening and smelling for any threat or anything that reminded them of a cheetah, as the Doctor had told them. The Time Lord himself was in deep thought and concentrated on walking as steadily as possible, to cause the least amount of discomfort to Amy.
This was a most unusual situation. Stranded on a planet with a - it pained him to think it - broken TARDIS and him and Amy... like this. He frowned. They had a lot to attend to. First of all they had to find out what the Cheetah People were up to. Then get themselves back to normal. Then repair the TARDIS. Or maybe they should repair the TARDIS first, then find out what the Cheetah People were up to... Or maybe getting themselves back to normal was their highest priority... Well, one of the three.
The Doctor had been absent-mindedly looking down at the ground as they walked, and only now did he start to notice how much more of it he, well, noticed. Of course, they had not only gotten the bodies and voices of lions, but all their other senses as well! It had taken up until now for the Doctor to realize it, but it was true – every sound was a little louder, every smell was a little stronger... and so many sounds and smells there were! He could feel everything beneath his fe-- paws too; the texture of the soft earth, every little pebble and root. The view felt different too. The Doctor looked up to see a few rays of golden light filtering through the thick jungle foliage in a way he had never seen before. For a moment, he was full of wonder. How different the world seemed when seen through the eyes of someone else. It was beautiful!
Amy shifted on his back and the Doctor snapped back to reality, feeling slightly guilty that he had stopped thinking about her safety for even a moment. He exhaled sharply and looked around him for any signs of the Cheetah People or their kitlings, but didn't see or hear anything suspicious. They were probably leaving the lions alone for the time being. If the Cheetahs wanted to find the group they would have no problem tracking them down anyway the Doctor thought bitterly.
The large dark male, Kovu, was leading them along a narrow, but well-defined path through the jungle and the Time Lord picked up his pace to walk beside him. "So..." he began "Have you been having a lot of problems with... cheetahs recently?"

Kovu
He watched Kiara run off, annoyance etched on his face. He would have to have a word with Kiara when she got back but right now he had more important things to deal with then one of Kiara's temper tantrums. "So..." A voice said in Kovu's ear, "Have you been having a lot of problems with... cheetahs recently?"
Kovu snapped his gaze to the Doctor, cheetahs were incredibly rare around this parts; he was silent as he walked, pensive and careful. There had been some cheetahs around but he'd never really thought much of it. He remained quiet before coming back to reality and realised the newcomer was waiting for a reply. "There's been a few more around recently, but I never really thought much of it. Why?"
Riversong
The pale lioness began growling when a new figure appeared beside the TARDIS but instantly ceased it when she saw the slight fear, was that? In her eyes before she uttered a very small "Hello.
Riversong was taken aback, unsure how to respond, should she say hello back? Or just ignore her and walk away. No. The Doctor always was polite and in the short time Amy and Rory had been able to act as parents they'd taught her simple manners, regardless of whether or not she wanted to use them. "Hello, who are you? What are you doing near the TARDIS?" River asked rather rudely, she winced inwardly before shrugging it off, screw manners right now. "I was wondering if you'd seen my husband around? Or my mother?"
Nala
The older female continued her hunt on the cheetahs. Where was Simba when she needed him the most?
