As Kovu was speaking Kiara was sat on Pride Rock waiting for Kovu. She didn't notice Nala until her mother was beside her. "Something on your mind Kiara?" Nala asked, knowing her daughter well.

Looks like were here already. Now as my guest you get the best spot in the cave, well my best spot. Anyways see that slightly raised platform? Its all yours its comfy too. I'm gonna sleep at the back. Kito trotted to the back of the cave and curled up in a ball. Night kovu! And within seconds kito was sound asleep.

Kito woke up with a yawn then her belly grumbled.
Kito whispered "Kovus still asleeps so i will go and get breakfast then"
Kito tiptoed out of the cave and went hunting in a nearby zebra heard and caught a calf and an old zebra.
She dragged them back to the den. Kito set down the larger zebras corpse and started eating saving parts for kovu along the way.

Hmmm well i remember not to long ago coming across an seemingly abandoned cave. It looked like it had some kind of sparkling gem in it. Im actually surprised i remembered that. Wanna go and check it out then? If i remember correctly its south east of here.
