"Im just going to sit outside for a while" She trotted and plopped down and yawned, she stretched and rolled over she was having bad cramps in her stomach again.

Kitos face scrunched up in pain again as the pain got worse, she looked down at the wet patch on the grass and began to panic. "Uh.. oh no!" She yelled.

Kovu hearing Kito's cry sat upright and dived off the rock, running straight to her side.

Tears were already running down her face in streams as she cried out to particulars nobody in the night in pain. She cried out again and she barley even noticed Kovu "Kovu your here" She smiled. "I hope its not twins" She painced, she dident know what to do.

"You'll be fine." He said running his paw along her flank gently. Raising his head he roared loudly causing birds to scatter, a few moments later Nala would arrive, "What's the matter-" She stopped when she saw Kito. "Oh!" Swiftly she hurried to Kito's side.

Nala, having been through the pain twice began rubbing her paws along her gently. "There, there Kito." She said, her voice gentle.

There was then silence, followed by another scream of agony very soon the silence was yet again broken by the tiny mewling of a newborn cub.
But yet there was still more to go through yet, as Kito would have to give birth to another cub and a 3rd one that wouldn't survive.

Kovu would watch in surprise, "I only thought we'd have one."
Nala after helping Kito, turned to the third cub and began licking it, trying to get it to breath.

Kovu who was looking at the third cub gravely turned to Kito, "Tend to those two for now Kito." He said, "Find out their genders."

Kito examined the cubs and thee was a boy and a girl. "We have a boy and a girl Kovu!" She said happily but also tiredly.

"Yeah, its Nuka and Tani" She smiled down at the small forms of the cubs resting. "Kovu, here hold Nuka" She gently passed Nuka to Kovu.

Kovu's eyes widened at the mew. "Three cubs." He gasped proudly. "We have three children Kito."
Nala smiles at the family before turning and walking off.
