I'd like to point out the fact that there are 2 different prides in this role play, one lead by Kiara, the other lead by Kopa. I'm not sure if some of the newer players in the RP knew this, so I'm just reminding. =3

Kiara's pride lives at the Pride Rock, while Kopa's pride lives at the waterhole where the Can't Wait to be King -scene took its place in TLK1 and TLK3/½. The cave they're using is the cave where Timon and Pumbaa were during that scene (we just made it a bit bigger so that all the lions fit in, lol).

So, this means that Simba and Nala aren't really in charge anymore. If you're wondering what character is in which pride, check out from the Sign up thread.


Again, I was just pointing this out as a reminder. Dunno even if it was necessary to point it out. XD

I just want to bring up the issue of previously active members in this roleplay. I haven't seen Nadira post anything in a while, and I know Zorayda is busy, but I don't know if she'll be returning. Wondering if VP will be able to continue playing Kiara, as well.

I know the characters they play aren't particularly important at this point, but the way things are going, and considering how things will start affecting the prides soon, I'm wondering how we will deal with the situation of a practically non-existent king and queen.

Just thought I'd mention it so we don't come to a dead end.

This is how Rp's come to a real slow crawl.. when people join and then they just disapear without leaving anything to say how long they will be or if they are going completely, and it's really annoying.

Nadira whose chars are Malka and Kovu.. has been emailed on her private addy..2 weeks ago..still no reply, will email again..

Zorayda was emailed twice by Dakota asking if she was going to come back and rp all her chars (seeing as she wanted as many as possible in the Rp's when she joined) she said she busy at the moment and she has looked and as far as she can tell, everyone can post around her, none of her chars are in important positions.!! She has been on twice in last 2 weeks, but hasn't posted.

She will be a PM/email asking her to please RP..

If we don't hear from Nadira or Zorayda in 2 weeks, their chars will be placed as unactive, and they are up for grabs. Hopefully we can fill them, or we work around them..

Will let you know what happens..

Also, I know they're all rather informal and stuff, but when it comes down to it, who is in charge between Kovu and Simba? Or if Kiara's more senior ranking than Kovu, is she more higher ranking than her dad?

Kovu and Kiara - They both reign over there half of the pridelands. But kiara is royal by blood.

Kovu and Simba - Well seeing as how Simba is no longer king, then it would be Kovu with higher power, wouldn't it?

Remember though that, since we have two separate prides in the Pride Lands in this RP, Kopa has his own pride to rule. Kopa's pride's Den is at the waterhole.

As to who has more power, Simba or Kovu... Saff is right about that. When asking about who has more power, Kopa or Kovu..... I have no idea. The prides are currently very friendly with eachother, but were something dramatic to happen there could be interesting situations with which pride's King has more power than the other.

Ah the possiblities..... ;D

Greetings all.

I've been informed that there is a perception amongst other players that I am controlling in my RP threads. I really, really wish that this had been brought to my attention directly, rather than to hear it second hand. I'm bringing up this matter here so we can sort out where the problem lies, because I don't think it's in The Flood or Wanderers. Maybe it's in Last King, but that's just started and I don't think I've been controlling there.

So is it here? Does anyone have a problem with the way I'm roleplaying here? If so, what can I do to change it? Help me guys. It's horrible to think that there's a bunch of you talking about my back when I don't even know I'm doing something wrong. I want to help provide the best roleplaying experience for all of you, not tread on your toes and make you angry with me.

Anyway, so I'm open to suggestions.

Controlling? I haven't noticed anything like that. Is that refering to you taking control of some cubs when Malka was speaking to Nala? Because if so, I don't think that was a problem.
