New World [Ended - Thanks for the adventure <3 ]

[Liam]

As Liam saw the two cubs nibbling on his paws, he let them go. This was also because Sukari had arrived at the scene. He smiled at the three, glad the cubs were not bored and that Su was laughing. He then heard Su offer him some food but he wasn't sure about having any. He personally didn't like to kill other animals for food. He was more of a vegetarian as he had gotten used to eating fruits like berries. Still, what was the harm? "I-I guess. But I doubt I will have much. You all might need it more." he said, half-lieing. He had not ate often anyway, so his appetite had been minimized. He walked to where the others were and was kind of uneasy about eating some of the now deceased zebra. What was more unnerving was the other unknown lion, Judas.

[This Land]

Sukari Continued to eat her portion of the Zebra that she ripped off. She didnt wate a single piece of flesh. Sukari licked her nuzzle for every single drop of blood. she stood up again, slightly struggling and walked over to get some more. Sukari's Belly twitched and felt slight movement inside, Sukari turned her head and looked at her belly, smiling warmly.
She continued over to the Zebra and took another large chunk of meat and this time walked over near to Tefnut, not too close, just near, Sukari always liked to be by one of her good friends.

[Pulsar]

Anmani flopped back on the ground when Liam lifted his paw up, the small cub grunting and looking up.
He wasn't letting the enemy off that easy! Buuuuuuutttt, dinner was already there and waiting.
"YAY! Food!"
The cub said sprinting over to the food.
"mmmm I like Zebra!"
He said as he smiled widely.
"Common Kisima! It's Zebra!"
Turning his head he looked back at her then motioned with one paw for her to come and join the rest of them eating.
"Hey mister..."
Anmani said in a low voice as he tugged at Liam's leg.
"You are not going to be attacked!"
He said in a outspoken tone as he looked up at the lion.
"Only because we have food and I'm hungry!"
He continued as he turned back toward the zebra.
"Once we finished eating you enemy again and we attack!"
The over confident cub said as he nodded reassuringly to himself repeatedly.
With that he took a small chunk out of the zebra and dragged it a few feet away from the rest as if wanting to eat on his own. The piece he took wasn't that big considering the size of the zebra itself, however the piece was big enough that Anmani stumbled along as it dragged behind him.
When he reached his spot a couple of meters away from the rest he as lay down and took the chunk in his mouth and started gnawing away at the meat.
"Thank you Tef and Sukari!"
Was all that come out of him before he sunk back into the food.

[Liam]

Liam looked down at Anmani and chuckled. "Well, I guess you will need to give it your all, because I won't make it easy for you. Like they say, the cornered rat will bite the cat." he said playfully. Liam then looked back at the zebra. He did not want to seem rude, but for some reason, he always had a sick feeling every time he thought about eating meat. Just a little...It won't be that bad...Just enough to fill me up... he thought before picking a small portion that seemed too small for any other adolescent. He then brought it to a place a bit away from the rest, but not too far. He just wanted to give the rest some space for now.

He took a small bite out of it and swallowed to prevent the vomiting feeling. He slowly ate the meat, more out of hesitancy than out of anything else. I do not understand why many lions like eating this stuff. But I guess I am just wierd like that. he thought to himself as he slowly chewed on a small piece. He had hid the fact that he did not enjoy eating meat perfectly, that no one could tell there was something wrong.

Safila walked away from Judas, letting small sigh escape her muzzle. maybe it's not a good thing he is with us, I can't see him showing much patience and tolerance for things, he's just...ooh I don't know

Padding slowly over to where the zebra lay half eaten, safila lowered her head and gently pulled some meat away, then carried it over by where the other new lion lay. Lowering herself she pulled pieces off and chewed slowly enjoying the taste and her tummy welcoming food.

She turned her head to see what Kisima and Anmani were upto, usually if there was trouble they were right in the middle of it, instead her eyes flickered over Liam and then back to him again. Tilting her head slightly she watched as he chewed his meat. Her eyes widened as she saw a look of distaste on his face, hurridly she lowered her eyelashes in case he saw her looking. Sneeking another peek she saw he was hardly eating at all. another strange one, why us...

Kisima still sat there on her rump, her mouth had a horrible taste in it, and no matter how much spitting it wouldn't go away ooo what was it the enemy had stood in, what if it was...

Looking around quickly when she heard mani call her name, she saw everyone was eating except her.

"Save some for me, don't be a greedy guts and eat it all, I'm hungry too after secret spy stuff."

Reaching the zebra Kisima sunk her teeth into the flesh, trying to pull a large piece off, it finally ripped free, surprising her and she fell back onto her rump. Rolling her eyes, she rose to her paws and walked past Liam giving him a scowl, and went and sat beside Safila. Carrying on eating, as with each mouthful it just tasted much better, taking away that other awful stuff.

[Liam]

As Liam was eating the peace of meat, he saw Kisima give him a scowl. She must have been annoyed that he had some clods of dirt on his paws. It was funny, as she was the one who tried to bit his paw in the first place. When he finished the small portion of zebra meat, he was already full, but gave himself time to digest it. He had noticed Safila look at him slightly and knew she thought he was weird. Who wouldn't think that?

[Kirsui]

Tetnut had finished her share and was basically just lying down and relaxing. She followed Kisima and Anmani with her gaze, chuckling slightly at the two young lions' actions. Oh hos she wished she'd be young again...

She sighed, shaking her head slightly and turning to gaze at the horizon. No... She didn't wish to be young once again. Not if she had to live the same way as she had in her childhood. She was better here, with her group, her friends... family. Yes, the liopardess called this her family now.

Sighing again, Tef turned her attention to Safila and noticed the younger lioness glancing at Liam. Tilting her head slightly the liopardess looked at Liam, and noticed how... reluctantly he ate the food. She lifted an eyebrow and glanced at the other lions around her.
"Liam..."
Tefnut gracefully stood up, smiling faintly at the lion who she had met when he had been a cub.
"Would you walk with me for a while...?"

The liopardess begun walking, heading towards the tree in which she had been lying earlier. But she wasn't going to climb up there this time. No, she wanted to walk... and talk. She glanced over her shoulder to see if Liam was coming or not, leaving others to finish their breakfast.

[Liam]

Liam looked up at Tef and had an idea as to why she asked him to walk with her. He could not lie to Tef. He couldn't lie to her. If he could tell anything to anyone, it would be her. "Uh..sure.." he said, smiling a bit and followed her. Ok...This is most likely about being hesitant about eating meat. Just tell her the truth. Maybe she won't make fun of you he thought to himself as he walk with Tef.

[Pulsar]

Anmani continued to happily chew away at his hunk of meat he had nabbed from the kill.
Generally he would eat it slow, since he very much liked the taste and wanted to make every bite last.
As he ate, every moment or so he would look up to check the others, seeing Safila and Kisima sitting together eating and Sukari also. That strange lion he had approached earlier was still to be observed, he couldn't quite be trusted, not just yet.
When Tef and Liam started walking away, Anmani lifted his head and stopped eating.
<Where's he going with Tef.....>
He pondered for a few moment.
<He better not hurt her or i'll give him such a bite!>
Anmani was somewhat protective of Tefnut, since she had taken care of him when his brother left. This left the cub more attached to her then most of the group, even though he still cared about the others very much.
"humph...."
Was all Anmani said as he glared slightly at Liam, before returning to his food. Tef and Liam seemed to be good friends...
<I guess that's enough reason for me to know he won't do anything...>

Safila lay there with kisima still by her chewing on the meat. Bringing her paw up she licked and wiped her muzzle clean, and then turned and just watched everyone, taking in the way they ate or even just lay there.

Seeing Tefnut rise and start to walk away with Liam, made her wonder if her friend had seen how Liam was eating, or in the case of not eating. She heard Tef say that they had knowen each other long ago, I wonder why they didn't stay together and he's been alone something else I'll have to ask.

Moving her gaze along she glanced briefly over Judas lying in the grass, not bothering with him any longer she then moved to Sukari. Smiling at her large belly, being pushed out further by the way she lay, Safila wondered how much longer it would be before they welcomed the new cub into their family.

I wonder how kisima and Anmani will react to having a little one around, all the attention is usually on them, we will just have to make sure they don't feel neglected.. Thinking about them, she finally watched Anmani, always the one getting into mischief, and Kisima following along, doing everything he says

Safila let a sigh slip out all that devotion

Tefnut walked for a while with Liam in complete silence, keeping her gaze fixed at somewhere in the horizon. Her other senses were alert though, just like they were all the time after Sheek had died.
"You know, Liam", she begun, still gazing at the horizon.
"I was very young when my mother died. Her name was Pilvi, and though I don't remember much of her, I heard I have her eyes."

Tef stopped walking and sat down, still gazing at the horizon.
"After she died, I had to feed on bugs. Before it had been her who hunt food for me, but now I should have gone to eat with my father's Pride. I didn't, because every time I went there I was scared. They didn't like what I looked like, they didn't want to be around me. They didn't dare to openly hurt me, though, because of who my father was."
She shook her head.
"So I ate bugs. I was disgusted when I first forced myself to do it, but I had no choise. I did it for the honour of my mother, I lived to allow her memory to live in me."

She smiled faintly, deep in thought as she recalled her first time of eating bugs.
"The first time was... gross. I still remember how I tried to force myself to eat the squirming worms I had found. I think almost half of them actually managed to escape before I ate the first one."
She tilted her head.
"It wasn't as bad as I had imagined it to be. I still prefered eating proper meat to eating bugs, but in order to stay alive I did what I had to. When I grew I begun hunting small animals, birds most of the time. It was difficult, I had no one to teach me back then."

She sighed, pushing away her memories of what had happened next in her life. Of the time when her father would teach her things he thought she had to know, and then of the time when she ran away.
"I'm not judging you by what you eat, Liam", she finally said, turning to look at her friend with a slight smile on her lips.
"I was pretty much ready to eat grass - grass - when I tried eating my first worms. Most wouldn't understand why someone wouldn't want to eat meat, but I do. I was in that situation once, and I chose to eat my bugs from my own free will."

[Liam]

Liam heard Tef's story and did not know what to say before he thought about it. He found it hard to believe that Tef ate bugs, but he did believe they did have harsh pasts nonetheless. It must have been hard for Tef, living her life as an outcast. "I'm sorry about what you had to go through...It's just wrong...to hate others for what they look like..." he said, thinking about how hard it was for Tef. He did not realize it, but he was blushing slightly when Tef said she was not judging him for what he ate and that she understood.

Kisima had finished eating and let a little burp escape past her muzzle, following with a small giggle.
She was now bored, everyone was still eating or lying around, but as she looked over to her side she saw Tefnut walk away with Liam.

mmm wonder where they are going

Looking around she saw Safila had closed her eyes and no one else was paying attention to her. Pushing her self up on her paws she slowy inched foward and moved towards a small bush.

Standing there hiding, she counted to ten, then poked her head around looking to see if anyone was watching.

phew, this is easy stuff to do , now which way should I go

Looking left and right to see if the coast was clear she started forward, then pausing as in front of her was that other new lion sitting still in the grass. oh no, I have to get past him... I know I'll just hold my breath and walk really slow and he won't see me

With her head down she moved forward, then stopped again. Taking a big breath she clamped her muzzle shut tight, and closed her eyes and moved slowly past hoping she wouldn't feel a paw on her shoulder or any words spoken.

[Kirsui]

"I'm sorry about what you had to go through...It's just wrong...to hate others for what they look like..."

Tefnut chuckled slightly.
"It's in the past, Liam", she said.
"And while I still wish things hadn't gone the way they did, I can't go back in time to change them... And I wouldn't even want to, really. If I did, I wouldn't be here, with this group. I wouldn't have met Sukari when I met her, or wouldn't have found out that I have -"
She stopped suddenly, flattening her ears.
"....had a brother..."

She let out a heavy sigh, glancing at the direction where the rest of the group was. She had known Sheek for such a short time, and yet she now missed her brother...

Life wasn't fair.

"Have you considered eating something that has never lived?" she asked, changing the subject.
"Un-hatched bird eggs, as for one... Those which never got the chance to develop inside the shell and hatch, those that mother birds either eat or leave when the other eggs hatch and the small birds are ready to move. Technically those have never been alive."
She tilted her head slightly, still watching what the group was up to. She smirked faintly when Kisima tried to slip away from the group un-noticed. Clever cub...

Moving forward more, Kisima took another big breath and kept on going. Feeling it was safe, she slowly opened her eyes looking around her.

haha no one noticed, I'm sooo good at this stuff

A little smirk appeared on her face, and she started to skip along, then paused. " now I'm here I don't know which way to go". Raising up a paw kisima pointed in different directions " Eany, meany, miny moe......OK moe will do ."

Looking back over her shoulder, she saw that no one was watching her, she moved forward on her own little journey. this should be fun, Mani wont be telling me what to do, I can be boss.

[Liam]

Liam felt even more sorry for Tef when she mentioned that she had lost her brother, but could not comment or say anything. He then heard her question about if he considered eating things that have never been alive. He shook his head, too embarrassed to say so. He noticed Kisma going off on her own and smiled a little. He did not say anything, but was glad Kisma was enjoying herself.

Standing up, Safila stretched and gave her head a shake. Looking around the others were either still eating or just laying in the morning sun relaxing.

Moving away from them all, the lioness walked over to where the formation of rocks were, that she had spoken to the newcomer from. Stilling, she looked back over her shoulder to where he still lay in the grass, he didn't notice her staring as he was still ripping meat to chew. Blinking she turned away and lept up onto the rocks, already warmed by the sun.

Standing there her eyes wide Safila turned her head from left to right, lookng for anything amiss.

[This Land]

Sukari, gazed around everywhere, taking in the beatifle scenary. After all the Bad happenings, things where finally looking up. Sukari now had hope.

She noticed that Tefnut walked away with Liam. Judas was minding his own business, still eating, and everyone was keeping to themselfs now. which was good in a way.......peacefull. But Little did Sukari know that things where going to be slightly twisted around now, as her Belly started to feel very uncomfortable after she took a long stretch. It couldnt of been the food, or else she would of seen everyone else look uncomfortable. There was only one thing that Sukari could point it down to. Her unborn cub.

Sukari didnt want to tell anyone, because as soon as she started to feel this uncomfort, she wanted to be solitary as soon as possible. Its as if for a moment she forgot that she was part of a group. Sukari questioned her own thoughts
Why am i thinking like this, i love my group, why do i have a instinct to just go away.

Sukari's legs carried her away from the group, her facial expression looking very worried, Sukari soon merged into the nearby bushes. Her Belly feeling more and more weird and uncomfortable.
Please......Not now....Not now, im not ready...... how can i cope
A deep growl escaped Sukari's throat, she didnt want it to, she didnt want to worry or alert the others, but the more she tried not to, the deeper and more frequant the growls got.

Sukari lay down, deep in the bushes and curled up in a tight ball. She wasnt ready for this, but she realised that no matter what, this was going to happen ,as the uncomfort was getting bad.

With that, Sukari Uncurled herself and stretched out her body, getting prepared to make things easier. Her small deep growls not getting any quieter as every time she exhaled through her nose.

A Tear escaped her eye as she lay there, looking at her belly, wishing at every availible moment that Sheek was By Her, comforting her, every step of the way.

As she stood there, Safila saw a movement from where she had just come, and narrowed her eyes watching closely. Sukari had got up and was moving away, looking ungainly and sort of swaggering as she made her way to a group of bushes that hid her from the others view.

With her eyes not moving off Sukari, she knew something was wrong. Looking around wildly she saw where Tef was with Liam. Jumping down gracefully and so as to not alert anyone, she made her way to where Tefnut was, she didn't want to alarm her, but she was sure that Sukari would want Tef to be the one with her if anyone as Tef was the closest in her heart.

" Excuse me Liam, I just need to have a quiet word with Tef, we'll be right back"

Using her head as a signal, safila motioned Tef away slightly where their convverstion couldnt be overheard.

"I'm not sure, but I think Sukaris cub might be coming, she lying over beyond those group of bushes hidden out of sight, and well.....I think if anyone she would only want you to be with her."

Standing back, she gave Tef a final look and moved back over to where Liam was still waiting. Not sure of what to really say to him, as she didn't know how his and Tefs conversation had gone.

"So.. you and tef knew each other from a few years ago, hows that ?"

[Kirsui]

Tefnut examined Liam closely as he shook his head.
"You should consider it", she said.
"You are a lion, and a lion can't live without meat. If eating something that has lived once is so difficult, at least try eating something that hasn't."
She smiled faintly, then turned to look as Safila approached them. The liopardess narrowed her eyes slightly, wondering what Safila wanted to talk about. She followed the lioness, a slightly worried expression on her face.

"I'm not sure, but I think Sukaris cub might be coming --"

Tefnut's eyes widened in surprise. This she had not expected.
"Whoa... you mean.. now?!"
She glanced at Liam, then nodded at Safila, not remaining to watch as the lioness walked back to where Liam was.

Tefnut tried to walk as calmly as she could, not wanting to attract the group's attention and pull them all with her to where Sukari was. For some un-explainable reason she just knew it wouldn't be good if they all were there... And so, she walkd around them, approaching the place where Safila had directed her.

As she approached a few bushes her ears picked up growling. Momentarily she hesitated and stopped on her tracks, flattening her ears.
"Sukari...?"
She could tell Sukari was inside the bushes, and by no means she wanted to scare her friend by suddenly appearing there.
"Sukari... It's me, Tef..."
Slowly she walked closer, until she could see her friend. She glanced back at the direction where the group was.

She couldn't see them.

She sighed faintly, then carefull settled herself down next to her friend so that she could be there to comfort Sukari but would not be on the way.
"It's ok, Su... I'm here..."

[Liam]

Liam watched as Safila and Tef went to speak on their own. He pondered Tef's words. It was difficult for him to kill, as he did not truly have the heart to slay anything, but Tef was right. He kept his meat eating to a minimum for a while, and he was used to it. He noticed Tef was shocked by something Safila said, as he noticed her expression. When Tef went to the bushes for some reason, he noticed Safila walk to him.

'So.. you and tef knew each other from a few years ago, hows that ?' were the words Safila let out of her mouth. Liam wanted to be honest, yet he didn't want to at the same time. "Well....She actually saved my life when I was a cub...I was cornered by hyenas one day...I thought I would have been killed..but she saved me.." he said, holding back a tear of gratitude for Tef. "Like she said before...we have been through some tough times together. The right to explain those events are not mine to say, not just for my sake, but for Tef's. I can only assume she'd wish to put those events behind her... I don't blame her.." he stated, the horrific memory of losing Abeni burned in his mind.

Safila leaned down to listen to the lion as his voice had quietened alot.

"well yes, Tef said she knew you from some years back, she seems happy to see you again, I hope you stay around with us then."

"Umm don't mean to be rude, but I was watching you back there while we were eating....I guess you have a problem with eating a fresh kill."

Looking back at Liam, she let a small smile appear.."Don't worry about it, if you choose to eat other things, thats for you alone to think about, we are not here to judge. I'm not sure about that new male Judas, but I think i speak for the rest of us."

[Judas]

The male was resting the in shade, just watching the events going on before him. He had picked up that Sukari was soon enough going to have her cubs. However he had decides to stay away from the mother, as he had been told that lioness' normally give birth alone, they even isolate themselves from their own prides for almost a whole month to keep their young hidden before they are old enough to join with the family.

Judas' yawned lazily giving his forpaws a wide stretch, scratching the dirt the carcass had been stripped hours ago, all that was left of it now was bare bones, and some hide. It wasn't just due to dignity he stayed away from the soon-to-be mother, he had to be completely daft if he hadn't registerd that he didn't really garner much trust of these animals.

They seemed to like Liam, but he was an aquitance of Tefnut, so the rule of the world is not what you know, it's who you know. And that seemed ever the more evident here, but then again these guy's had assassin's on their tails so their suspition was credible, afterall Judas according himself isn't exactly a saint.

[Liam]

Liam was happy to know Safila seemed to trust him, as he was aware of the group's problem. He was unsure if he should stick around, so he would need to think about this. "I'm glad she seems happy...but I am not sure if I should stick around...I might need to put some more thought into it. " he said, shrugging.

He then blushed a little at the comment she made about his eating habits. "Well....uh...." he said before Safila cut him off. "Well...It's not so much eating a kill...I guess it's just the idea of killing in general.." he started before he blushed a little more. "Please don't tell Tef or the others...but I...I am more of..a vegitarian." he said silently so only Safila could hear. He was rather embarassed at this, which was obvious through his hesitancy and his wish for no one else to know.

After hearing the comment about Judas, he nodded. "I am inclined to agree with you on that one. There is something about him that I just don't trust.." he said, keeping his voice in the quiet tone so Judas could not over hear.

At the word 'vegetarian' Safila's head slowly swung back around to face Liam. Looking at him, she realised she was staring and he was beginning to blush.

"Oh sorry I didn't mean anythng, if you only want to eat whatever you eat, well thats fine too, we will have to make sure when we move around, that there will be food for you as well."

Looking at him again, Safila smiled "it's ok Liam, honestly, and I'll keep it to myself, everyone doesn't have to know others secrets."

Looking back towards where she had seen Sukari, she saw the back of Tefnut disapear into the bushes well at least she will have company if she wants it, and wont be by herself afraid, if only Sheek was here for her.

Sighing slightly Safila turned her gaze to look out beyond once more.

[This Land]

Sukari's ear twitched as she heard Tefnut's voice. She moved her head in the direction of where the sound came from and there she saw her, and watched as she lay down near her.
Sukari smiled in response to Tefnut, but she still looked worried.
"Tef......I'm not ready" she sighed
"Now this is all happening, it just feels too much for me......it really does........so many thoughts are going through my head, so many questions i ask myself, but it all rolls down to 2 single words......What if?."
Sukari lifted her head slightly
" What if my cub is unhealthy? What if I am not cut out to be a good mother? What if i have more then 1 cub, I wont be able to handle it..........What if my cub or cubs dies early at birth?" she cried
Sukari Lowered her head again, almost burying her head
"I just don't want Sheek's death to be in Vain" she said low and quiet.

Sukari Now very soon expecting cubs, would normally get up and walk off to another place where she could be alone then after the cub was born, she would disappear for a while.
But If you think about all that Sukari has went through with this group together, her past, her heartbreak, her journey, the close deaths. It scars you mind forever and it changes you, Sukari is easily affected. Many rules of assets which makes a Lioness, a Lioness can Break. These rules being broken mean that even Instict itself can change.
Sukari Now Stood up slowly, walked over by Tefnut and looked at her with watery eyes
"I am now going to the place where I feel most comfortable and what my mind tells me to do."
Sukari then lay back down again, leaning against Tefnut, resting her Muzzle on Tef's Paws.
"Im staying with my family." she said warmly to Tef.
"My Instinct would normally say go away from all of you, but i don't think that is present any more in me. Because why go away from your group that you love when you can stay here in full confidence that you will will secure and safe with them?." she said again warmly.

The Uncormfort in Sukari's belly suddenly turned worse, It soon turned into bad Pain that was something to start worrying about. She let out growl that turned into a roar. (another thing that Animals instinct are not meant to do, as a animal signal of pain alerts other animals of weakness).
Sukari buried her head Between Tef's Paws and soaked her tears....
"Please stay here Tef, I need you......"
...

[Kirsui]

Tefnut watched Sukari closely, listened at the lioness' every word. She remained still, watching, waiting as Sukari rose to her feet and came to her. She didn't move at all when her old friend spoke and the expression on her face remained calm. Until Sukari's last words.

"Please stay here Tef, I need you......"

Tefnut finally allowed the smile to return to her lips as she lowered her head down to rest it on top of Sukari's.
"Su... I am not going anywhere..."
She gently nuzzled Sukari from behind her ear while whispering to her friend.
"I promise, I won't leave you alone. I promise to help you any way I can. I promise to keep your cub safe. And I promise..."
She swallowed, willing away the tears that threatened to break free with what she was about to say next.
"...I promise... I will not let Sheek's death be in vain. I know I am not him, but as his sister I feel that keeping your cub as well as you yourself safe are my responsibilities. Sukari..."

Tefnut lifted her head so that she could look at Sukari.
"...I promise all this, my friend", she said.
"I promise you will never have to be alone. Never again."
She smiled at the lioness before placing her other front paw on top of Sukari's as a comfort and support. She would stay here, with Sukari, as long as the lioness wishes it.

Kisima was standing there, trying to choose where to go when she heard a strange noise from behind her. Flattening her ears a little she whirled around, to find herself not that far away from the one she heard was called Judas.

Her heart beating faster, she stared at him, looking him over slowly. His mouth was open and his paws looked so big as he stretched. Opening her eyes wider as she saw the sun glint off his claws that were digging into the dry dirt, Kisima swallowed quickly, then licked her lips.

Not knowing what to do, she stood there like a statue yet shaking a little, to see what he was going to do.

I think I'm safe, he's just had a big meal, he still can't be hungry. Maybe I should ask him if he wants to come for a walk with me, or maybe I should just back away quietly, cause he hasn't really seen me

Giving a gulp, the cub slowly one paw at a time, started to go backwards while keeping her eyes fixed on Judas, hoping he wouldn't move and pounce.

Sukari listened to every word that Tefnut had spoken, and every word she had spoken, the more tears Sukari let out. Many mixed emotions where flooding through her body. Happiness for Tefnut promising all them things and Scared because of the birth. So many other emotions where present, but they where shooting in and out of Sukari's Body and mind so quickly, it just cannot be described..

Sukari Buried Her Face now into Tefnut's Chest and starting crying aloud. She Nuzzled into her chest more, trying to dig deeper to muffle her Cry.
"Thank you Tefnut........Thank you for everything, i just cannot explain in any other words how great full I am. Together till the End" she cried.

Sukari Did not move from that position for a while, trying to ignore her pains by listening to the Soothing sound of a Heartbeat of a good friend. It reminded her of when she used to do the exact same thing with Sheek at night, just bury her head into his chest and get sent away to sleep by the sound of his heartbeat.
The Pain getting worse and worse and more frequent, the heartbeat of Tef was soon starting to get drowned out by the growls and roars that Sukari was making. She closed her eyes tighter and tighter.

Suddenly the pain stoopped, but the warmth and the heartbeat was still there.

Sukari opened her eyes to see a thick black Fur, she turned her neck, looked up and seen a bright yellow mane......It was pulsar. She turned her head to look around further, and seen they where both lying down at a base of a hill. She turned Her head to face pulsar and Pulsar looked at her. He didn't say anything, He Just had that expression and body language saying "We will find Sheek soon". Sukari's ears perked up as she heard a lion say something very faintly coming from the top of the hill, by the time she worked out it was her name and moved her head to look where the sound was coming from, she seen nothing. Then after waiting several moments of being puzzled ....

"Suk.......Suk........"
The Lion raised his voice and cleared his throat
"SSUkari"

Sukari Looked up, the sun blinded her but then a lion stepped into the sun and blocked the light from her face, The lion Was standing on the Hill

"Who are you, what do you want" Sukari said Scared

The Lion stepped down from the hill and stopped a few meters away from Sukari,
"Sukari, is it you?"
"Is it really you

Sukari Turned shocked
"SHEEK, IS THAT YOU?" she shouted out of excitement

"Yeah it is" he said with a big loving sigh of relief

Sheek and Sukari where both astounded, They Both Said
"IT IS YOU"

They both started to laugh and Nuzzle in each other in surprise, they gave each other a big hug, they both started to break up in tears.

Suddenly the whole scenery had changed, everything had disappeared except Sheek and Sukari together. Sukari looked around confused and then looked back at sheek.
"Sheek, what is going on" she questioned
"I thought you where dead" she said starting to sniff

"Sukari, unfortunalty I still am, and sadly will always be. At this very time our cub is entering the world, I had to show you that I am always still here while you are in a phase of faintness. And you dreaming of the happiest moment of our lives ables communication between us" sheek said Magisticly

Sukari started to breath harder and harder
"Sheek, Im scared, about everything, i want you back, I love you, I......" she cried

Sheek put his paw on top Of Sukari's and lay down beside her, nuzzling hear affectionately
"Sukari, you will always have me, i am always living, In you and your closest friends. I will be watching over Everyone.....Including the New Born Anthi" she said proudly

Sukari Felt a very sharp pain and she roared, while tears where present once again.
Sukari Breathed heavily, the pain still present
"What is happening Sheek? Whats happening?" she said upset and confused
"Time to find out for yourself My Love" he said very warmley
"I love you Sukari, I always will, remember that.... Goodbye Sukari........Goodbye."

Sukari started shouting sheek's name as he started to fade.
"Sheek......no......Sheek......"
Sukari put her other paw on top of Sheek's paw while it was still fading
"I will make you proud, i will never let your death be in Vain.......never...." Sukari Cried

With that, Sukari Closed her eyes tight and opened them again.

She could hear the heartbeat, feel the warmth of another body and the sharp Pains had vanished. Sukari lifted her paw and found the paw not to be Sheek's... but Tefnut's. Sukari looked up to see It was. She took a few more deep breaths to get over the shock what just happened. Her ears concentrated on the Sound of the wind rustling through the bushes, and the birds singing..........and........Now the Sound of a Little Baby Cub making tiny little growls.

Sukari smiled with more tears escaping her eyes
"its happened.......its happened" she said still with heavy breaths.

Sukari Turned her head and looked down by her body to see a Baby cub sliding across the ground . It must of been a Difficult birth as the cub had already burst out of its sack. Sukari leant up, picked up the small Cub and placed him right by her teat. She rested her head back down again on Tef's Paw and Buried her Head once again into Tef's Chest, hearing the sound of her heartbeat and feeling the strange thing of feeding her young

"Thank you Tef........Thank you for everything. I am so happy, Glad, proud and Great full to have you as a Friend, and part of the family. you and every single Lion in this group mean so much to me." she whispered

Sukari Nuzzled Tef's chest and slowed down her heavy breathing to normal. She just lay there tired, exhausted from the birth and still shaken as seeing and talking to Sheek again.

Sukari will be ever great full to all those in the group, always been here for each other, always supportive, looking out for each other, protecting each other. She will never stop being thankful to everyone she knows and has lived with......ever.

Sukari tilted her head and gave Tef a Lick under her muzzle as a sign of officially being classed as part of Anthi's Family,......a Auntie.

"Together till the end Tefnut.......together till the end......"

Despite having his eyes half-closed and his ears folded back to drown out the roars that were calling out through the savannah. Though he knew where the sound came from, and why though he was occupied by his own affairs and that was the smell of a cub nearby. Maybe the little one was playing hide and seek with him, and being a bit a party-pooper he male stood to his feet, he was much taller than the cub, but smaller than an adult male lion, he was roughly the same size as Tefnut but still he had much more growing to do before he reached adulthood. His mane was starting to appear along his neck creating a zebra's mane of black hair, the thick bangs ontop of his head wasn't black, but soft pastel brown hue.

He could see the cub though, she wasn't hard to spot despite the tall grasses, and she seemed even scared of him. With a grim across his muzzle, the male quickly closed the distance between them large paws trotting through the soil. "Why are you frightend?" Judas asked his voice clam, cool and collected but not as icy as it could have been, as he stopped a comfortable distance from the child. He lowered his head to level with his shoulders not to seem to menacing to the kid, and a soft grin played across his muzzle, he wasn't an adult, yet. Still a teenager but in the way he acted it was rather hard to believe he was still very much just a kid himself.
