"that could of been your father" sheek said in a shocked voice

Sheek was delighted and edgy that her father could be not far away, but then again, that hair could be from a day ago. Meaing her father may be quite far away.

Sheek walked closer to Jenna to make sure of she was still ok. he also looked behind to see if Mino was catching up soon.

[Pulsar]

Mino walked over to the waterhole and took a drink of it before he began his walk. He however, walked away from where Jenna and Sheek were going to sleep. A few seconds in, He came across a cliff with rock which had a tree beside it and was sticking out slightly from the cliff. He went over to it and before sitting down he looked back. He wasn’t far from them, so if anything went wrong he could easily help them. Sitting down on the rock, he stared into the sky and watched all the stars as they sparkled in the black sea above. As he watched them his mind slowly began to drift and he found himself thinking of past events and also the current ones…

[Jenna]

Jenna turned and saw that Mino was walking away. She wasn't sure how he felt, but she was glad that he was helping her. She felt Sheek move a little closer to her. Turning to look at him, she asked,"Do you think...do you think I will find them?" She frowned as she said this. As sudden as her facial expression was, he could tell that she was deadly serious. She looked up at the stars as she walked and wondered where they were. Where would they have gone? She turned to look at Sheek again.

Pushing him playfully with her nose, she said, "We need to frown less." She smiled at him.

[This Land]

Sheek nuzzled back playfully
"everything is gonna be ok, you parents shoulnt have gone far, its only been a day or so, i dont think your parents would have gone that far"

Things happen in our life, and one thing you should never do is jump to conclusions which tend to be the worst case scenario.

Sheek slown down and gently lied down on the grass.
"Loads of things have happened to me, things happen to everybody, its part of life, up and downs. But i have found out on many occasions that life always finds a way round bad things"

"you should get some rest now Jenna, because i will make sure that your life will find a way around this bad happening"

"I have never really properly helped anybody in my life, but i will start now"
Sheek gave a warm smile to Jenna

[Jenna]

Jenna smiled at Sheeka. She listened intently as he finished his speech. She had friends, that was what mattered right now. She padded in some grass and found an indent in the earth. After curling up, she muttered a slow,"Goodnight, Sheek. And thank you." After that, she fell asleep, letting her dreams fly around her.

The next day, Jenna awoke early. She didn't know why, but she felt as though something large and life impacting was going to happen. It didn't feel good. She got prickles up and down her spine, and the hair on her neck stood on end. She looked at the still sleeping Sheek. Now, if any, was time to try her hunting skills. She slowly padded her way over to the taller grasses and crouched near some gazelle. She inched forward and came within three feet of one that was good for all three. Squaring her shoulders, she pounced.

An hour later, she found Sheek awake as she dragged the kill in. Setting it down, she asked,"Hungry?"

[This Land]

"wow"
sheek jumped up to his feet straight away
"that is some kill you have there, well done"
Ill let the hunter have the first bite

[Pulsar]

Mino came through the grass, to find Jenna and Sheek “GOOD MORNING!” he said in a happy voice. Then he noticed the food they were eating “WOW” he stopped suddenly almost leaning back so much he could have fell down the hill again “Who managed to bring that thing down?” he asked excitedly “That is one big kill..” he laughed, he tried before but he could never bring something that big to the ground, he just wasn’t the best of hunters “I must say I am impressed” he smiled

[Jenna]

Jenna smiled. "Thanks. Um...I did, Mino.I think we should let Mino try it first. Poor guy, you've been up all night." She looked towards where Mino had stayed. Turning to Mino she said,"Care to join?" She slowly padded over to Mino. She smiled. She nuzzled his shoulder and said,"You need food." She laughed at his look and said,"Don't worry, it won't kick.

[Pulsar]

Mino snapped out of it and looked at Jenna who nuzzled his shoulder. He smiled at her gently. “I’d love to…. As long as it doesn’t kick me” he joked winking at her. He then slowly made his way to the gazelle “This is a very nice catch Jen, you must be a very skilled hunter…. Remind me never to fight you…” he laughed

[Jenna]

Jenna smiled. "Note to self, remind Mino never to fight me." She laughed and went over to the animal. "Thanks by the way, though, I'm sure both of you could do it too." She watched as Mino tasted it, then started on her portion. She had to admit, even to herself, that it was quite good. She smiled at the thought of her overly modest self.

Afetr they had finshed, she walked over to the water hole and began to clean herself. She could see the blood of the animal coming off into the water and then dissapearing again. She stood up and walked back to the boys. "Well, I suppose we better move on. Mino, you want to find your pride? Well, maybe we could be sufficient until you find yours? Lead the way." She nuzzled his shoulder and edged him forward. She nodded. "You deserve it, Mino. You've worked hard to find your pride, and here we are."

[Pulsar]

Mino stared at the ground, he liked the encourage but he knew there wasn’t a chance of finding his pride. Well the fact that they were dead, even if he did go looking for any survives what would be the chance he’ll run into one of them… “Thanks for the motivation Jen... but I’d rather we help you find your parents first…” he tryed to change the subject

[Jenna]

Jenna moved forward. "Okay, but...I'll keep the offer open." Turning to face them both, she said,"Let's start by getting that hair, then we'll move in the direction opposite of the one we came in." Suddenly, the two lions saw a leadership quality in her that they hadn't thought existed. "Let's go," she said softly. She walked passes a few rocks befor espying the fragment and signaled to the others.

"Okay, if what i think is correct, we should be heading towards the setting sun. We'll take a rest this afternoon sometime, then tonight, we'll start a bit further in, and we'll move tomorow." She walked out in front of them and hopped down the hill's rocky side with ease. Looking back she asked,"Well, are you coming?"

[Pulsar]

Mino had his head lowered as they were walking along, he leadership qualities were very interesting, he hadn’t noticed them before why? It didn’t matter anyway they were goin on a hunt to find her parents. He grinned when she asked were they coming as she slid down the hill. He looked at Sheek, he didn’t know about him, but Mino loved adventure and what’s better then adventuring with friends

“Yeah!” he let out a yell of excitement and determination. “Let’s do this!” he said as he jumped on the rock he had been sitting on last night. Landing on it so hard it broke away and began sliding down the hill side with him still on it. “YEEHAA!” he said clearly enjoying the ride “WOHU!” He shouted as he flew past Jenna. He let out a laugh, it was a little bit of a show off but he didn’t care that much he was havin the time of his life! *What more could you want?* he thought to himself as he reached the bottom *Friends, adventure things aren’t looking half bad* He let out another laugh…

[Jenna]

Jenna laughed as she watched him slide down. "Wait for me! C'mon Sheek!" She jumped on a rock and started to slide down as well. "Haha! Weeeeee!!!" She laughed all the way down and landed a few feet from Mino. She rolled over on her back and laughed for a few more seconds before taking a deep breath and stopping. She looked at Mino and said,"That was so fun! We need to do it more often."

She looked up. Sheek was still on the cliff side. Jenna frowned. "Sheek! C'mon," she yelled.

[This Land]

"Im too old for this" he said amusingly
There where no more big rocks left, so he just jumped and randomly slid all the way down the hill, on his back then he turned onto his chest then on his side, this was too amusing to have time to laugh. when he staretd to slow down near the end. He pushed his hind legs as far as he could which gave him one last bit of thrust which sent him unecpectedly past Mino and Jenna.

"ooo that brings back my childhood" he laughed
He somewhat felt old now he said that.

Sheek got up and shuck all the dirt off his body.
"talk about a way to start off our adventure" He smiled

[Pulsar]

Mino smiled happily as he watched Sheek make his way down then hill, his smile then changed to a laugh as Sheek unexpectedly went sliding past them.

“Don’t worry Sheek you can never be to old to have an adventure” he said offering support, before nodding in agreement “….and what a way to start an adventure it is” he said with a big grin across his face.

As they began walking along Mino looked at both of them and smiled again, before saying “I have a feeling this is going to be one great adventure guys” he said enthusiastically.

[Jenna]

Jenna nodded. "I haven't ever done this, so you're going to have to cut me some slack, but I'm game!" She looked out at the tall swaying grasses, thinking about the day. She spotted a large hill in the distance and remembered it. Looking to the other's she said,"You see that large hill? That's our marker. We'll rest there till night, move a bit further, then we'll sleep and start tomorow." She began to run. "C'mon, let's see how fast we can get there!" She turned around and trotted backwards.

[This Land]

Sheek Understood that Jenna Wanted to find Her parents but he isnt a fast person.
"its ok Jenna, we done have to rush there"
"if you and mino want to go ahead, its fine with me" Sheek smiled

[Jenna]

Jenna's face fell for a moment, then she perked up. "Okay." She shrugged it off and joined them again. "So...um...yeah." She moved along, watching Sheek and Mino. They were so qiet, even Mino, who usually spoke so often. She often wondered what went through his mind. She knew however, that she wouldn't get much out of him if she asked him what was on his mind. He wasn't the most open lion o the plains.

At half a day, they reached a water hole and rested for a bit, Jenna not saying anything. She hated quiet, it always made her feel like she was in trouble. She didn't know why, it just did. She bent down and drank for a moment, then looked back up. They didn't seem too active. She sighed. Maybe she should have just stayed behind. If her parents had returned... She felt at that moment like turning back while they weren't looking. But she didn't really know what to do.

[Pulsar]

Mino was staring at the ground letting his mind wander. He looked up to see Jenna sighing. *hmmm* he began to think. He stared at Jenna for a few seconds, something seemed to be wrong with her. Then raising an eyebrow he had an idea of what it might be. “Well I don’t know about you two but silence makes me bored” he said as he got to his feet smiling while he did. “So what you two say to doing something?” he said curiously.

[Jenna]

Jenna thoughts jumped away as she slowly focused on Mino. Shaking her head to get the daze out of her eyes, she nodded. "I agree. Let's do...anything." She had a burning desire to prove that she could do this, that she was just as capable. She felt an impulse to fight the largest animal. She felt head strong and ready. She didn't know why, but she felt that if she was to walk with two males, she needed to prove she was capable.

She got up and raised a brow. She wanted to make everything and nothing a reality. She looked to Mino and to Sheek. She was ready to take this on. Smiling mysteriously at Mino she asked,"Got anything in mind?"

[Pulsar]

A look of surprise came over Mino’s face. Come to think of doing something, he hadn’t actually thought it out that far. “Well… let’s see what there is to do….” He said stalling for time. Looking around he seen a bunch of rhinos just off a bit from where they were. “No that’s no good” he said under his breath while letting out a slight chuckle at the same time. His gaze scanned the area, there didn’t actually seem that much to do. Then his view came across a group gazelle near some tall grass. *Not great but I suppose it could give us something to do…*

“Emmm well...” he said looking at the ground, then he looked back at Jenna “Huh there actually doesn’t seem to be much to do, just a group of gazelle and rhinos….” He tried to think of something but what? Anything would have done… He felt rather stupid seeing how he was the one that said they should do something…

[This Land]

"Not all adventures are fun"

"But what the hell, im bored"

Sheek put a big smile on his face and ran at the gazelle

[Jenna]

Jenna laughed and followed Sheek's lead. "C'mon Mino! Better than nothing," she yelled over her shoulder. In a few moments, she was in the tussel and under the feet with the gazelle. She couldn't help but laugh. they kicked she moved. She would bite at their ankles and they paniked. She laughed as she saw Sheek fighting his way in.

Not seeing Mino, she grinned. Bored, huh? I think he was quite content, she thought to herself. She danced about the gazelle as they ran this way and that, trying to get away. They weren't smart enough to guess that if she hadn't killed one yet, she wasn't going to. "Having fun, Sheek?"

[Pulsar]

Just then Mino let out a yell “WOHA!” He jumped high into the air and went to land right in the middle of the group of gazelle, but they all moved out of the way. He realised it only a few feet from the ground unfortunately, not enough time to react “WUAAA!” he hit the ground landing flat on his face. He lay there for a few seconds before rolling over and began laughing uncontrollably.

[This Land]

Sheek help Mino Up with his Head, Sheek joined in with the laughing

"Sheek then chased after more gazelle"

He crouched down low, ready to pounce on the unsuspecting prey. Closer, closer...AAAH! He was furious. What did that lion think she was doing? Cursing her, he stalked around the herd. She wasn't even hunting. She was just messing around! He furrowed his brow. Tan body low to the ground, he cautiously moved forward. Dark eyes narrowed in consentration, he pounced. On the laughing males.

He moved his head to the side with a sarcastic expression on his face then he roled of of the two obviously stunned lions. He growled. They too were only playing. He, who had been on his own since cubhood, had never trusted strangers, but this was just...stupid. They weren't hunting, they weren't practicing. They were playing, and they were interfearing with his meal time.

[Pulsar]

Mino got back up, slightly confused as to what happened. He looked at Sheek on the ground next to him. “Hey Sheek you ok?” he said before turning to the lion. He had seriously pick the wrong lion to mess with. Mino walked towards the lion each step making a thud in the ground as it landed. Extending his claws he growled before crouching slightly “Who do you think you are!?!” he accused the lion “I don’t know what your problem is buddy but you picked the wrong lion to mess with…. I’ve brought down lions bigger then you…” he warned the lion.

Taking a quick glance around he seen there was no other lions here besides this one, but where was Jenna? *She’s missing?!?!* He then looked back at the lion “What did you do with Jenna!?” he took another step towards the lion, now he was really annoyed…

Konai moved forward slightly. Raising an eyebrow, he mockingly bowed to the other lion. "I'm impressed, I assure you," he said, adding a laugh to the end of it. His eyes were a dark green and his mane was black, body dark. He could only be called an outsider. He narrowed his eyes. "Jenna? First off, who's that? Second off, I could care less who you've brought down. Third, my name's Konai, ex-member of the outland pride. I also think that you jump to conclusions too quickly and that you ruined lunch and dinner. Thank you very much. G'day to you."

He backed up and turned his back on the lion. Before leaving though, he said,"I am sorry if you loved this Jenna, and I am sorry if she ran off, but I had nothing to do with it." He slowly turned. "Okay?"
