Just to explain why I haven't posted for a few days, and why I might not post much for the coming three weeks or so.

I have a lot of stuff going on with uni at the moment. I'll try to come back and check things asap, but I don't know when I'll actually have the time.

So yes, bear with me please. XD

So! I better write something up here before I make my disappearing act on Wednesday, heh.

I'm taking part in an Arctic Design Marathon this week. Basically, we're teamed up with a few students from another uni (who study marketing and engineering while we do industrial design), and are given a case for a product design for a company. We've gotten our cases a few weeks ago, and have had time to do some planning for the Marathon itself.

The Marathon will be held from Wednesday to Thursday, exactly in 24 hours. After that time we have to have a finished concept and presentation to be presented later on Thursday in front of 200 guests coming from different companies. The guests will then vote which of the teams wins.

So yes, I will be very much dead after this week. I should go on some important lectures on Friday, but I think me and my team mates are so skipping those after having been up for 24+ hours. (well technically we do have a few hours or so time to sleep, but.... yeah... we don't even have beds or couches or anything LOL)

So the Marathon is over now, and the competition was tough. My team become second with just a few points difference to the winner! We're all both surprised and happy, and the company that gave us our assignment totally liked our idea. It'll be developed further, and then go into production. :3

The small party after the marathon was totally awesome too. We got to meet a lot of representatives from different companies, and got queries for a design project from a few of our team members that have their own company. If they do ask our help (which I think is very likely), we would in the end get a small profit out of all the products that are sold when they go on market.

So yes! Totally worth all the stress, I say! We're already planning to take part in the Marathon again next year. ;D

Right, time to spam this thread again. ;D

I'll be away for a few days (tuesday-wednesday). We're going to visit a steel factory (among a few other things) on one of the courses I'm currently taking. Should be fun, though I kinda dread the moment when we need to walk on these thin walk-ways high up above the factory lines (eeeep!).

Unfortunately, since I have no idea if there will be Internet access where we stay overnight (or time to use it), I'm unable to post a reply for the RPs I'm in until I get back.
