We'll discuss part two when I get a few moments to myself to help plan out! I believe we had some ideas before, but we'll reiterate and hash those out.

Kirsui KanuTGL Akinai Leorgathar Leto Announcements-part one is finished! -part two will need to be discussed -new updated map of Surra available (to be added) -Enzi has been captured, Moto and Anti-Moto no longer exist/are deceased -part one's summary is complete in "The Story Thus Far..." -Thoughts on a new 'tag summary' of the entire RP (RP description)? -Rules on capturing/killing and inevitable defeat needed? -eventual spin-offs of the RP allowed (private RPs and the like)? -We need cub and 'elderly' NPCs--those unable to be in battle for whatever reason Part two's Working Title-"Wrath of Retribution"-Thoughts on Part Two's title? -Mwani's defeat has forced them into the forest--perhaps even farther back? (Into the snowy wilderness of the Taiga at the foot of the mountains, perhaps?) -Zorayda plans on counter-attacking, but turn of events may change depending on what the Belbel do -What are Sumai's plans now that he's conquered the Mwani den? -Kirsui and Enzi are captured. Will they be used as a bargaining chip? What does Sumai plan to do with his prisoners? -will the Mwani train to learn to fight better? How will this affect the pride? Will Zor's plans to use geurilla-esque tactics work? -What will happen in regards to non-pride parties? Is this affecting rogues or herds or the land in general? What about morale? -How long will the gap of time be between part 1 and 2? Would it help to do a minor 'time-jump'? -Character development and mini-plots? (PM me or concerned party if you would like to keep these mini-plots secret)

Hello Zorayda you probably remember last time since i tried to join this but i was not well good enough.
But now safe to say i have improved a looot.
I might be inactive here but i'm not inactive on other forums, and i have been improving as time goes on.
Now i basically never post one liners. And i'm wondering are you still accepting? i'm gonna do a massive overhaul on my characters and actually add personality to them.

Okay, to put this as nicely as possible, you still have several grammatical errors in just this response alone. I checked your recent posts and 'more than just one-liners' does not mean two- or three-liners. I'm sorry, Moonbacon, but you alone cannot be your own witness to improvement. I checked all your characters, as well, and I apologize but I will only allow experienced roleplayers into this RP from this point onwards. I have not updated the rules quite yet, but I intend to make this roleplay an invite-only board, since we have plenty of players that have their own plots planned out. The addition of any new players will be a careful consideration on my part and likely will not happen very much in the remainder of this roleplay. Thank you for your interest, however, and best of luck finding a roleplay to participate in.

Of course I DID say that i'm not active here as much right? did you see what date that post was? MY LAST ROLEPLAY POST was from October 2014.
I REALLY want to join this hell i came back here since i have improved a lot seriously and yet you still YOU CONTINUE TO JUDGE MY WRITING FROM POST IN 2014.
What do you think i'm too damn stupid for your roleplay? i'm sorry i'm not intelligent enough for your stupidly high standards.
If you think i'm too stupid for your roleplay maybe you can give me advice over skype instead? oh wait you unfriended me without any rational explanation.

OOC: Moon, take any grieviances you have with Zor to PM please. Well you know the few ideas I proposed on Skype Anyhow I particularly like the spin-off/private RP part. It has potential, and could be useful if not fun. ^^ - I think the rules about killing should be at least planned by the defeated and killer beforehand, particularly in concerns with main characters. Like writing out deathscenes for one. The rest of us players don't really have to get involved, or even know about it unless it's a leader or very central plot-character that croaks it. - I plan on adding a new character who has an accompanying cub NPC, so that can help bring at least some cubs into this play. - I think a time-jump of maybe a month or two to have the Belbel get time to settle down and the Mwani time to plan and recouperate, perhaps stating that there has been minor skirmishes during this time, but no all out warfare. Would help ease in potentially new characters(or fade out old ones) as well. Those are just the suggestions I got ^^' ~ Leto

Leto you and I also discussed ideas over Skype, and it seems the most logical thing would be to have Zor lead the Mwani to the taiga/forest in the mountains? Bit cold there, but farther away from Belbel and good to recuperate and think about their next move while also keeping the cubs and such protected :3

Yeah that seemed the most logical next step if nothing else. ^^' I already proposed the small idea I had for Na'hina on Skype With you Zor, but even so it won't really change much on the ground. I'll be opening her up for more interaction with other Mwani members, she needs to be more social lol As for other plots, I plan to eventually fade out Leto either relegate him to NPC or outright remove him from involvement in the main story, as I've found he didn't mesh as well with this rp as I thought he would, and given the fact that I've plan to introduce another character with a more invovled personal plotline that actually ties into the events of this rp I want to devote most of time time here c: The character I plan to add is Yuuchi, if anyone wants to plot with him, feel free to PM me ^^' ------- I thought of a potential use for the spin-off/private Rp, why not use it to better coordinate personal plots between various characters without having them lost admist the mainstory arc? Like these RP's would take place on days or during times when there isn't much progress to the main story e.g no major Battles or confrontations going on, or to better detail day to day life for each group.

Let's see, what to add...
-Huge supporter of side/private RPs, as I've stated with you before. Plus it's a way to kill time when the story in on hiatus.
-A time skip would make sense, as the Mwani need time to train and gives the Belbel reason to fortify their new base of operations. The only hiccup may be for the rogues, but something could be worked out.
Nothing else really comes to mind, at the moment.

I'm thinking of joining with an adult version of my character Phyllon. Since he's grown up now, he has taken the role of some sort of forest guardian. The Mwani pride are now in a forest, so Phyllon would have been watching them and is aware of their situation, and join them as they travel to safety through the forest. Would that work? I'll also eventually make a new character for the Belbel. Maybe contribute with NPC characters as well

Right then, lets see... I rather like the idea of spin-off RPs. Personally I'd possibly rather keep the characters already in the RP within the actual RP, but I'd very much like to explore the possibilities of how the war affects anyone else living in the area. My major concern with spin-offs really is how to keep them intertwined with the main plot. I'm sure it can be done someway though, so yeah. As said, I'm not against it at all. xP I agree with Leto about the kill rules. That's how we've done it before, so I don't see why we couldn't continue to do so. Of course, we all should take into account any situations where the RP plot develops in a way that might require a character death or capture. I, for one, would of course like to keep my characters alive, unless I realize they don't fit the RP anymore, or if their death serves a better purpose than keeping them alive. Same with capture really. I wasn't planning on Kirsui getting caught, until it suddenly became a believable option and it then happened. xD Gotta keep the story rolling smoothly, after all. xD I recall making some cubs and elder cubs that'd look over the younger ones for both prides. I was considering coming up with some elders too at the time, but didn't do so back then. xP Those cub NPCs are on the lists though, if I recall right. I still think Belbel should have less cubs among them than the Mwani, considering that Mwani have had a rather easy life with plenty of food and shelter for the cubs, while Belbel haven't had that luxury. Wrath of Retribution. That has a nice ring to it, and I wholeheartedly approve. xP I like the idea of snowy forest area! That could allow encounters with slightly different types of wildlife than what the Mwani perhaps are used to. Actually, if I weren't about to bring in Auri, I could use the different type of location as a way to bring in a snow leopard or siberian tiger, but alas, I shall not do that now. =P Could try it out in a spin-off though, if we'll get around to doing those. Other than that, I don't really have anything to say. I'm pretty easy with any kind of time jump, as I'll adjust my character development depending on what will be decided. Mainly this concerns just Kirsui's state of mind / health, and the severity of Zito's injury. Since my only Mwani is currently in Belbel custody and most likely thought dead by her pride, I can't really say much about what the Mwani should do right now. xD Which leads me nicely to personal character development plans. If we start with Kirsui, I've been planning on giving her a 3rd ability that is pretty much a result of her time as a prisoner. I'm still finalizing the details, but I should be able to put the ability up when we start part 2. The ability won't properly manifest for a while though, as I have plans on slowly introducing it through role play and discovering what exactly she can do with it that way. As a second note about her, Zorayda and I had some plans about Kirsui some time ago. Depending on what Sumai decides to do with her, I'll implement at least some of those plans (if they fit the story when we get that far, that is). One idea I could raise up was using her as a double-agent or as a way to mislead the Mwani (knowingly or unknowingly, I don't know yet, depends on what will be decided). Zito... Now there is an interesting case. =P As soon as I have time, I will finish updating his character sheet and profile. Lets just say that I had a bit of fun looking up what frostbites can do, and went a bit overboard with how he is affected by the brief exposure to Kirsui's flames. If you want a sneak peek, *this is what I had planned* for him, along side some minor details like partial loss of sight in that eye. xP Currently I have no plans for Anapa, but I do plan on having her tag along as eerily calm as she has been so far. I'll see what happens with her when we continue with part 2. As for Auri... I have minor plans on how to introduce him to the RP. It's weird how long I've hanged on to him without actually bringing him into the RP, but I'm still very much interested on giving him a go. He's a new character (if his brief appearance in the good old Great Battle isn't counted) and as such I have no idea what he will be like, or even if he fits into the RP. We shall see, I suppose. Now that THAT has been said... At least one of my characters will die at some point. Who or when that will be, I won't say. xP You'll just have to wait and see. xD

Hellooo. I'm still alive, who knew? I think the rules on capturing/killing and inevitable defeat are good as they are. I don't think there would be a way of doing it any better than we do now; the players involved have to discuss the outcome of the fight between themselves. Killing another character without the player's permission is against forum rules, so I think we have to stick with it, even if it means some out-of-character behaviours sometimes. I've been thinking about adding a cub or mother character recently, but I'm not sure who or what just yet. Part two's title sounds good. And I like the idea of Mwani retreating further into the snowy wilds. Maybe the Belbel came after them in the woods and drove them back? If we do a time skip of perhaps a couple of weeks or a month, that is something that could have happened in the meantime. So, yes, a short time skip sounds good too. Sumai's plans are a bit fuzzy still; I really, really haven't had time to think much about RPs for the past few months, so I'm still working on that The gist of it is that he wants to drive the Mwani away, so the Belbel can keep the territory in complete control - of course. Either the Mwani leave and never return or they all get killed. The morning after the first battle, he would have sent scouts out to find where the Mwani had gone to, started planning their next strike and the pride would have got themselves more familiar with the lands. Kirsui and Enzi are Belbel POWs, so they are kept alive, but that's about it. Sumai's idea of honour prevents them from being viciously abused, but they aren't exactly treated nicely. They were also given the gruesome task of burying their fallen pride members after the first battle. And the idea before has been to use them as bargaining chips, I believe? Or bait, to lure the Mwani out to try and rescue them. That is the main reason why Sumai is keeping the prisoners alive, really. In order for them to be more obvious bargaining chips, maybe one or two of the Belbel pride could be captured by the Mwani too? Then the prisoners are traded for each pride. That could be a pretty interesting scene to do I think :3 As for plans for my other characters, Satoba and Ghedi, I'm still working on the details of that too I might take Bone to be a closer companion of Ghedi's though, so she's moving into being a semi-NPC here... xD I still really can't say when I am able to post stuff, due to life being so hectic over here. So I apologise in advance for the slow pace at which I will continue to be posting :C

They were also given the gruesome task of burying their fallen pride members after the first battle. *makes a few mental notes* Thaaaank you! I now know what to post with poor Kirsui in part 2. xP As a side note, I like what you're doing with Bone and Ghedi, Kanu. :3 It's nice seeing how closely our characters can interact with NPCs. x) And don't worry about posting pace. You're not the only one who will be on and off irregularly. Currently I seem to be able to login pretty much whenever I am on the PC, but who knows how that'll turn out later during the spring. EDIT: And the second part is up! Zorayda asked me to set the mood with Kirsui recapping her experiences during the time jump. She is rather delirious and her sense of time is very hazy, so I didn't exactly clearly establish the amount of time that has passed. As Kanu said, a couple of weeks to a month sounds pretty good to me. I'll make my first posts with my other characters the next time I post. I couldn't add them into the starting post without ruining the mood I tried to set. xD Also on that note, it's time I go add that 3rd power into Kirsui's profile... >3

I'm still up for this, of course I have yet to define adult Phyllon more and figure out how he'll jump into this story, though. But I'll try my hand at that during this coming week, assuming activity here would wake up soon xD Btw, on a side note, I hadn't read the last couple of posts here before because the thread title of the OOC/Discussion Thread on both The Pride Premier and War for Surra is exactly the same, and since I never check the Pride Premier one, I get confused on which the updates are for when I see the "Last Post" in the Home page. ....I hope I'm explaining myself

Im starting the clearout, I will leave this RP alone for another week or so before moving it to the inactive board - unless you guys wanna continue, remember the special permissions, especially the one which means you can control other characters to get them away from the RP or kill them off

Im starting the clearout, I will leave this RP alone for another week or so before moving it to the inactive board - unless you guys wanna continue, remember the special permissions, especially the one which means you can control other characters to get them away from the RP or kill them off The problem is that our big main characters are being controlled by people who have not been active for quite some time... I'm afraid if they do not come back, this RP is pretty much toast. Which makes me sad, but... there's not really much anyone can do. People move on from these sorts of things because their lives are too busy, and that's all right. If this does come back, then great! I would continue in a heartbeat. If not... well, maybe it's time this RP dies while we all salute its ashes. If anything, if it does go, we will be able to read it in the inactive thread, correct?
