As for a name... I'll get back to you if I think of anything good xD

The Last Kingdom

but this could have a good story attached to it ^^. Like

"Lions are almost extinct, there is few puddles of drinking water, and only the occasional mouse.....if you are lucky. Only a spare few remain in these lands, these few lions are all that is left of a once great animal. They must survive through all odds to try and keep their kingdom....and their existance."

Only a rough one, like to keep it as open as possible ^^

Hmm... Maybe we could expand on that and have "The Last Kingdom" be what our group of characters is looking for? A sort of "Utopia" where the grass is still green, water is still fresh and plenty of prey still roam. Basically "The Great Valley" if you've seen The Land Before Time

It's basic stuff that's been done before, yes, but since we're only after a basic setting to get started I think it's acceptable. It would give the story a goal to head towards if we ever get stuck and it would give our characters a reason to meet as well. What do you think?

I have to say I'm liking that idea,
Lions, a dying breed, in a land gone desolate. Their last and only hope, to seek out a land in the world unknown.
A land shrouded in myth and mystery, where whispers of great treasures await those brave enough to venture and where utopia lies for those that seek a new home.
But no road is easily travelled, and those that dare blaze the trail to the land of legend, are often never heard from again.

I like that idea you two have though, I'm up for it if you guys are, it could start out like a wanders type RP which would be great for people joining, plus as time progress who knows what reasons each member may be traveling with the group, maybe some will seek a new home with newly made friends, maybe some are only playing the card dealt, until they can reach the new land and plunder it for themselves!

I don't quite like the idea of starting out in a completely "ruined world", but more like one that obviously is fading. Say, the land is not entirely dried out and desolate yet, but it's definitely heading that way.

But, yes. Like I said, it indeed gives us plenty of room to invent individual storylines, but if we get stuck with the story there is always something common to head towards C:

Well I made the starting post, sort of semi-introduction to the idea behind the RP and obviously then my characters appearance though very brief and minor.
I hope you guys like the post, spent a bit of time on it, was trying to make it seem mysterious and epic =P

I tried to keep it like you wanted, the land not necessarily being dead, but yet having it at a point where it nearly is thus giving the RPers a reason to go looking for paradise you know?
I also tied in the idea it's the last kingdom as in it's like the last empire of the lion species that's still standing at least if the stories are to be believed that it exists =P
Let me know what you guys think of it, I can always make changes if you don't approve ^_^
