OOC: I'll just leave this here and... let's see what happens next xD
Prawer had been very alert of his surroundings lately, watching the herd’s every move, and getting impatient whenever they all stopped to rest. He was known to be extremely paranoid, so much that he had started to annoy most of the other antelopes in his herd, but for some others, he was a box full of amusement to have fun with. They occasionally liked to mock him, and scare him whenever he was distracted; his reaction was always so hilarious for them that it never really got old. The poor young antelope could never get used to this for as much as he tried, but one day he decided that if they could never leave him alone, he would at least try to become more laid back and stop worrying about the hungry carnivores that might be lurking around behind the trees. So with this in mind, he relaxed and took a silent nap over a patch of tall grass.
When Prawer woke up from his lovely dream, he found himself alone, with no other antelope around as far as his eyes could see. He wondered if they had left and forgot him, which made a shiver run down his spine.
“...Guys?” He called. “Come on guys, this isn’t funny! W-where are you hiding?” The paranoid Prawer was back, and more paranoid than ever, I’m afraid. He started walking around carefully, looking in every direction.
“Ha-ha-ha,” he said in a sarcastic tone. “You had your laugh now, come on! Show yourselves wherever you...” He paused, because at that moment he saw her... lying on the grass a few yards away… grooming her fur and not having noticed him... a lioness.
“O-okay, Prawer... that’s a lioness there... no big deal, just... don’t move a muscle... not... a... single... muscle...” Prawer thought... and of course, his legs were shaking like jelly, which made the lioness turn her head towards him.
“Oh jeez! oh jeez! oh jeez! She’s looking at me, she’s looking at ME! ... Ok... calm down, Prawer... remember what they say... don’t act like a prey, maybe... she'll lose interest...” The lioness crouched, still staring at the antelope. “Don’t act like a prey, don’t act like a prey (oh gosh she’s coming!), don’t act like a prey, do NOT act like a prey (oh she’s so close!), don’t act like a prey, don’t....”
“HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLP!!!”
...The lioness’ hunt had begun.

Azrael had been roaming on her own in the hot sun for most of the day, just as she normally did. She enjoyed the time away from her sister, mostly because she rarely ever gave Azrael a moment to hear herself think. Today especially. But thankfully, she managed to slip away.
The sun above Azrael's head was warming her fur quite nicely, enough to make her feel a bit drowsy. But she refused to rest. She didn't want to take a chance at laying down for a catnap and waking up to the voice of her sister. That was the last thing on earth that she wanted. So, she kept on walking, hoping to find some water. Or maybe a zebra. A zebra did sound pretty tasty at the moment, considering she hadn't eaten in days. But unfortunately, the grasslands ahead of her were baron.
The young lioness walked on for what seemed like hours, and finally she felt far enough away from her sister to rest for a minute. She sprawled out on the grass, happy to finally have a moment to gather herself. She skimed her eyes along her fur, disgusted at how she had let herself go this long without a decent grooming. It drove her crazy if she wasn't in pristine condition.
But just moments after she had begun to bathe herself, she heard rustling in the grass, just yards away from where she lay. She snapped her head up and gazed her eyes upon an antelope. A young one. A frightened one. The sight of the scared little thing made Azrael's hunting instincts kick in. Her eyes dialated, locking in on her prey as she slowly got to her feet.
"Well," she thought to herself, "it's no zebra, but it's food nonetheless." She wriggled her shoulders, about to begin her hunt.
"Come to mama," she said aloud.

“Come to mama” the lioness said aloud, which made the young antelope swallow and begin the race for his life.
Never before had Prawer run so fast, not even in the days when he used to race with his brothers. He was perhaps considered the most coward of all antelopes in the savannah, but his determination to stay alive with all the strength his feeble body allowed him could as well come out as admirable.
“LIONESS!... LIONESS!!!” he yelled, trying to warn the rest of his herd at the same time as he desperately called for help. But there was still no sign of any of his fellow antelopes. Where’s everyone!? he thought, but soon he stopped giving it importance as he saw where he was heading to. He skidded abruptly before stopping at the edge of a big gorge and his racing heart almost stopped when he instinctively looked down and saw a river flowing far at the bottom.
“Oh no! This is it, I’m lost!” he turned to look back to his predator; he didn’t see her, but he knew she was coming, and it was just a matter of time before her claws dug into his skin. The thought of those sharp things tearing up his integrity, as well as those powerful jaws around his neck made him arm up with courage and jump down the gorge, praying for a deep and merciful river to save his life.
He almost fainted before splashing on the water’s surface, but afterwards he found out that he was still alive and unscratched. He swam up to the surface and managed to get hold of a log that was floating nearby. There, he panted many times to regain his breath. He was especially grateful that the river didn’t flow as aggressively as he had thought from above the edge of the gorge.
“I’m alive! *cough* hehe, I’m alive!!” he turned back up to see the lioness watching him from where he had taken that leap of faith. “Haha! Take that, carnivore! You won’t have a piece of me now!” The young antelope laughed until all air had left his lungs, and just as he started regaining it, he almost lost it again quite instantly after looking down to the water surface’s level, and changed his expression back to terrified to death. He spotted at least four or five crocodiles swimming in a stalking way towards his log.
“Oh, come on!!” he began waving his limbs as fast as he could, trying desperately to get to the river’s edge. “Heeeelp! Somebody HEEEEELLP!!!” He didn’t know why, but when he yelled “somebody”, he had instinctively turned his view back up to where the lioness was.

Listening to the timid antelope scream the warning only thrilled Azrael even more. She pushed forward, locking in on her prey, even though the days of not eating were beginning to take a tole on her energy levels.
After only a few moments of chasing her prey did she notice the direction he was running; and she knew it would be trouble in the long run. He was headed for Grassland Gorge, one of the most deadly in the area. A small voice in Azrael's head told her to warn the young Antelope of the dangers that stood ahead of him, but she knew that he would never listen. But her hunting instinct was much stronger and she continued to chase him, thinking of the lovely meal she would soon enjoy. The antelope soon reached the edge of the gorge and stopped in his tracks, which caused Azrael to stop running and slink down into the tall grass around her, completely hiding her from his view. She knew that with him remaining motionless where he stood, she would just need to take one simple lunge, and then lunch would be served.
But then he did the most ridiculius, most courageous, most STUPID thing that any animal, preditor or prey, could ever imagine doing; he jumped down into the waiting river below. Azrael knew that this antelope must not know the area well, because if he had, he'd know that those river waters were infested with crocs; thirsty for blood. Azrael ran to the edge of the gorge in time to see the antelope hit the water below. And it looked like a rough landing, at that. She couldn't help but feel that she had lost her lunch for good. Then, she noticed the swarm of crocs that were swimming his way. He was completely oblivious.
The hunter in her was replaced by her caring side. Since she was new at hunting, she had no bounderies with whom to make friends with and whom to turn into meals.
"You've got to be kidding me..." Azrael mumbled to herself as she turned around and took the nearest path down into the gorge. "I can't believe I'm doing this," She ran down to the riverside, not wanting to lose her prey to a bunch of stinky crocodiles.

luna was on her way back to her pack when she heard the cries for help, she identified the source of the calls and dashed to the gorge, but stopped short when she saw the scene before her, there was an antelope screaming at the top of his lungs and flailing his limbs in the river, crocs coming from all directions, and to top it all off a lioness was working her way into the gorge to save him. as a wolf she grew up knowing that the water was infested with crocs and they could close their powerful jaws in a blink, but they weren't powerful opening their mouths, so just as an open mouthed croc approached the young antelope she leaped from the top of the gorge onto the mouth of the croc snapping its jaws closed inches from the antelope's flailing body, and as the croc struggled to open his mouth the lioness finally made it to the riverside.

"I'm a Zebra. I'm a big, strong Zebra." When Zebra saw the lioness hunting, she was terrified and couldn't move a muscle, leaving her self for a easy pray. Please don't eat me, please don't! She said in a scared voice. If the lion would try to catch her - I think all my lines would turn white. I'm dead meat!
