Friend or Foe?

Yuki crouched on the dry,dusty ground.Her eyes focused on her prey,an antelope.She then crawls silently closer,her eyes shining with focus and determination. Suddenly,the antelope's cranium looks towards the direction of Yuki. As the antelope starts to move away quickly,knowing Yuki's presence because of her easily spotted pelt,Yuki silently cursed and pounced,using all of her energy in her hind legs, unsheathing her claws and extending her body to catch her prey,she fails miserably,the antelope too fast and quick,Yuki falls to the ground with a loud 'thump'.Yuki gets up slowly."Grrrrrrr" Yuki says angrily,watching the antelope galloping away,untouched by Yuki's deadly attack.

She then pads away slowly,her stomach full of hunger. Yuki sighs loudly,not paying attention to anything but herself. Yuki then stops,sensing something unfamiliar.She then lifts her cranium up to the sky,sniffing the air.She walks toward the scent,her eyes then go wide with fear as she sees a lion-shaped figure drinking out of a small watering hole.she then slowly backs away,knowing that she never seen another one of her kind.As she backs away,she accidentally breaks a twig.She gasps in horror,knowing that there was enough noise to startle the stranger lion.Yuki then holds her breath,afraid that if the stranger finds where she is, she doesn't have enough distance between them so she could run away fast enough.The stranger lion quickly cocked it's head up,it's body slowly turning away from the watering hole..............

Yuki, you have given me a brilliant idea for sosomething, I'll explain later

.........."Why hello" The lion said calmly.

The unknown lion walked softly up to the other Lion who seemed to have crossed paths with him. He smiled faintly and nodded to the stranger.

"Please dont worry, I mean no harm to any of my kind, I give everyone a chance" he said reassuringly

Standing his guard down so not to seem too intimidating, he sat down. If this Lion turned out to be dangerous, he could get up in a flash. But this said lion looked scared or worried, he could see it in his eyes, so hopefully this meeting would turn out to be a pleasant one.

OOC: Really? Well,I can't wait to hear your idea!

"W-who are y-you?" Yuki said shakily,a little unconvinced by the strangers calm voice. Yuki then sits up straight,trying to look bold and brave.
"A-and why are you out here in the wide open space and........ there are no other kind l-like you come here...". She takes a very good look at the lion,well muscled and fed."wow....." Yuki whispers to herself."Wow!" she said again but a litlle louder. Yuki takes a little step toward the stranger,taking a small sniff. wow... it smells like.... fresh grass and..... cool air Yuki thought."Are you from....... those paradis places where you have unlimited food and.... water?" She asks before she realizes how silly she is and blushes,backing away from the lion. I shouldn't ask too many questions...... Yuki thought again,sitting back down.

Sheek sat there, slightly amused by all these questions that the lioness was asking, and at even one point was taking in his scents.
"No, unfortunaly im not" he said
Sheek then smiled
"But i have just come from a place that was quite nice....."
Sheek's smile dimmed
"But unfortunately i had to leave, i was on my way back to my family."

Sheek looked at this Lioness, she looked starving, and seemed very eager to visit such places she mentioned, he took pity on her and decided to change his mind. His smile returned.
"But, i could backtrack and show you where it is, but be warned, the journey is long"

[yuki]

"Really?" Yuki's face lights up with excitment."Oh,don't worry about me. I'm as strong as a elephant,fast as a cheetah and as smart as a crocodile!" She says sarcasticly,laughing at her joke."If you dont mind me asking........... how far is the journey really is....." she asks shyly,looking up at the lion. "If it IS a long journey,then lets get a move on right now! There is nothing left for me here".Her cranium turns back to the sickly,dry land,scowling.Yuki turns back to her new friend,smileing gently before turning her cranium side to side. "So........ which way exactly? you lead the way!" Yuki says cheerfully,purely happy about the lion's offer.

Sheek Chuckled about Yuki's Comments about her strength, speed and intelligence.
Sheek motioned with his head the direction where he came from
"This way, we shall make a move, the journey is a couple of says"
Sheek felt his stomach complain, he just realised that he hadn't actually eaten for a while
"On our way we must find a bite to eat, im starving"
Sheek started to walk and made sure Yuki was following
"Sheek is the name by the way" He smiled

"Well,it's really nice to meet you, sheek. My name is Yuki by the way." She says while walking beside sheek. "Also,I'm starving too! I can hear my stomach growling!" Yuki says with a hungry groan before stoping to look at her stomach,seeing her ribs slightly through her rough fur. Sighing softly,she trots up back to sheek's side."You know, If you look very carefully,you might be able to find an antelope out here......." Yuki trails off,shaking her head."Even if you do find one out here,I wouldn't be able to hunt with you because of my....... pelt" She says sadly,turning her cranium to sheek,looking into his eyes,briefly showing her haunting birthmark. Yuki looks away quickly,keeping her cranium low,walking a little faster."Do you wish to wait a while to hunt until we are on better ground instead?" She murmurs but loud enough to hear.

Sheek looked as Yuki mentioned the colour of her pelt, and he only just noticed her very distinguishable birthmark from her mouth to her cheek, it was on the other side so he only noticed it until now.
"Never let such things let you down Yuki, be greatfull with the body you have, there is only one of everyone, everyone is unique, treasure that" Sheek smiled warmley.
"Yes you are easier to spot, but there are many methods of hunting, you just need to adapt to one, you cannot be sneaky and get up close to one, so work hard on your speed and go for prey that are slower".
Sheek walked a few paces in-front of Yuki and turned his head
"Come on, i will show you"
Sheek smiled and nodded .

Yuki couldn't help but smile at him and for his encouragement. "Alright" Yuki said weakly but slightly strong, walking back up to sheek's side." I'm ready for my first lesson" said yuki,looking at the wide landscape, Her eyes squinting because of the bright,hot, sun. "Oh! I see something!" Yuki's eyes now wide."But I don't know what it is exactly. The sun is blocking my view..." She trails off,trying to figure what it is. "Do you know what it is?" She asks with a little bit of nervousness in her voice. She unsheathes her claws then retracts them,trying to make herself calm down. "Come on,lets take a closer look" Yuki says,now curious. Yuki starts to walk slowly in the direction of the Mysterious thing,not knowing if she wants to check it out or stay where she is.

Sheek walked ahead of Yuki by a few paces, he crouched down very low and started to sneak and circle around the unknown prey.
"Circle around so the sunlight is behind us, so we get a better veiw, but then also makes it hard for the prey to spot us as the sunlight will be in their eyes instead" he whispered.
Sheek done a wide circle until the sunlight was behind him and Yuki. some tall grass was nearby so he lay down in that.
"Now Yuki, you have the element of suprise, but you are still going to be spotted as soon as you make a run. When running try not to think about it, and keep you steps light, try to lift your paws off the ground as quick as you can, pretend the ground is hot. With your slender body, you have the advantage of being more streamlined and have the potential of being faster then others" he whispered re assuringly

Sheek shuffled a few steps back to keep himself better hidden.
"Go for it Yuki, i know you can do it, but don't worry if you don't succeed the first time, everyone needs practice, but remember, Dont think you are fast......you know you are fast"

"Ok......" Yuki says unsteadily, carefully doing what Sheek is telling her,Her eyes focused on the unknown prey. Yuki shifts silently,trying to stay light on her feet. Yuki quickly glances at Sheek with unsure eyes,obviously showing that she is nervous. Now serious, Yuki then jumps,using sheer force through her hind legs. Unfortunately, once Yuki jumped out,the unknown prey has spotted her and started to get a head start running. Yuki, slightly frustrated, ran after it, trying to remember what Sheek said to her about running. She extends her body while running, trying to close the distance between her and it. Finally, Yuki is close enough to it to attack. She jumps, her sharp claws unsheathed, praying she won't screw up. Yuki was able to get the unknown prey's flank with one paw on each side of it,the claws sinking into the flank. The prey now shocked and injured,starts to slow down,giving Yuki a chance to strike it down. She lets go of it's flank and goes for it's throat. She jumps again,aiming accurately with her claws and teeth,they sink it,blood now streaming down it's throat by Yuki's desperate tearing. The prey stops now, still standing but staggering because of the loss of blood and the weight of Yuki. Not paying attention by being to happy by her defeating the prey, the prey suddenly gallops but falls,rolling with still having Yuki on it. Yuki's eyes go wide as they tumble together on the hardish, dry, dusty ground. They finally stop tumbling,the prey dead yet on top of Yuki. Yuki then groans, surprised how heavy it is. She tries to get up but fails because of her weak state and the prey's weight. Yuki's eyes start to flutter,the sun beating down on her. "H-help...... " Yuki rasps, her eyes looking around,trying to find Sheek.

Sheek kept a smile, to try and calm Yuki's nerves, which were certainly showing. He watched in amazement as all of his advice was put into practicality straight away, he chuckled to himself - very chuffed when Yuki soon took down the prey. He started to walk towards Yuki but when they was suddenly a scuffle and the animal landed on top of Yuki, he picked up his pace and ran up to her, but he still couldnt stop chuckling very proud of Yuki of what she has accomplished. He grabbed the prey by the throat and gently pulled it off her.

"Now that......was amazing" he said excited with a big grin on his face
"You see, all you needed to do is find your correct hunting style, now you need to perfect it"
"...I may not be around next time to pull it off you" he chuckled slighty, but a little serious.

Sheek patted his paw on Yuki's shoulder
"Are you ok ?"

Yuki winces as Sheek puts his paw on her shoulder. "I am not 'ok', sheek......" Yuki says with a serious face and tone. " I feel like Iv'e been stepped on by an elephant". She says angrily. "I feel so......... Pumped up!" Yuki says, now smiling and laughing at the reaction in Sheek's face when she pretended to be mad. "Did you see me?! It all went like, 'oh your going down' and then it went all like, 'bite me' and then I was like, 'oh no you didn't!' and then it was like 'oh yes I did!' then I was like 'that's it!'. I was so fast!" Yuki says with a lot of excitement in her voice.

"boy, that thing was heavy!" She says sarcastically, gesturing to the prey. "I'm so hungry, let's eat!" Yuki says, already walking to the dead animal, starting to tear at the stomach. " Mmmmm this is delicious!" She says with her mouth full.

Sheek just sat with a warm smile on his face as he listened to Yuki, she was fully alive with exitement and pride, he could understand why. Sheek and Yuki were now both very proud of themselves in different ways. This moment reminded him of his daughters first hunt....
Sheek hesisted for a second and looked down at the ground, slight sorrow filled his eyes but he soon shook his head away of such past thoughts and looked back at Yuki, who was munching away at her fresh kill.

"You eat as much as you want first, I'll have what's left" he said warmley

Sheek laid down on his side and stretched his body along the ground, slightly digging his claws into it. A sigh escaped his lungs in which he attempted to disguise with a chuckle after.

"O-ok" Yuki tries to say with her mouth full. After a few minutes, Yuki falls to the ground, on her back,moaning. "It was so good yet I'm so stuffed!", she says while moaning and patting her belly lightly. Suddenly, Yuki starts to laugh, trying to stop herself but can only make herself go down into a giggle. "I haven't had this much fun and excitement in my whole life!". Yuki finally stops herself from laughing and looks at Sheek, smileing, with adorable,soft, golden eyes. Yuki's ears suddenly twitchs ,listening intently, hearing yowls, yips and growls. Her eyes then go wide, quickly getting up, just in time to see four hyenas coming toward them with siliva driping from their mouths. Yuki slowly backs away, going to sheek's side, slightly trembling with fear. "S-sheek..........." She says fearfully, her mind going blank, not knowing what to do in this kind of situation. The hyenas now closer to Sheek, Yuki and the prey, snapping at them with jagged, yet sharp teeth, making Yuki's eyes go even wider.

Sheek gazed back into Yuki's eyes, She felt so alive and happy, this made Sheek feel great inside too, its been so long since anything fun has happened, or shared a happy moment like this. Sheek returned a warm smile

Suddenly the atmosphere changed as 4 hyena's approached after the fresh kill. Sheek wasn't the best fighter and would only do so out of self defence. He didn't know the capabilities of Yuki and he didn't really want to question her on them as that would most likely make her feel less secure and nervous then she already was.

Normally in this situation, he would of just ran and hoped that Yuki would follow, but his legs stayed where they were, and his stature instinctively went into a fighting stance, something started bubbling up inside Sheek, he started to think that this certain something hasn't happened since....... Sheek tried snapped out of such thoughts but it continued to bubble up, he let out a deep thundering growl.

These feelings he could only describe as one thing, his natural fatherly instincts were returning for this one moment, the last time being when he still had his daughter.......
"DONT YOU DARE!" he roared and with one almighty swipe he had slashed the nearest Hyena's face beyond recognition, it slumped onto the floor and didn't move at all, something of such of power and combat that Sheek never knew he had in him

He took a few deep breaths and glared at the other Hyena's, he stood shoulder to shoulder against Yuki to try and make her feel protected.

Now it was just the wait to see what move the hyena's wanted to play.

Yuki flinches and stares at Sheek with wide eyes by Sheek's anger and protectiveness, seeing Sheek kill a hyena in one powerfull yet dangerous strike, watching as blood splatters on his paw and little on his face, seeing it as it was in slow motion, never thinking that Sheek would ever act this way. finally snapping out of her fear- over- Sheek state, Yuki realizes that she stopped breathing and forces herself to let out a ragged breath. her eyes then go to the hyenas, afraid what they are going to do next.

The rest of the hyenas saw Sheek take down one of their comrades. Seeing that, they reformed and huddled, making a quick strategy. Once finished strategizing they separtated, two hyenas going to the left where Sheek is and one hyena to the right where Yuki is, knowing that Yuki is vunerable and will only need one hyena to attack her. Suddenly, the two hyenas started to lunge at Sheek but staying at a good distance from getting swiped. Now snapping their teeth, taunting him and making him to move slightly away from yuki to try and defend himself from the vicious hyenas. Suddenly, Yuki was distracted and out of nowhere, the one hyenas rammed it's head strait at Yuki's chest, startling Yuki enough to fall. Not wasting any time, the hyena took a hold of Yuki's right leg and starts sinking it's teeth into it. Yuki starts to scream, trying to shake off the hyena, making the hyena bite harder and more firm. Yuki cries out to Sheek, her leg already starting to bleed. She tries to paw at the hyena but the hyena was fast and quick. Back at Sheek's position, the two hyenas start to block Sheek's way to get to Yuki, nipping at him, bearing their teeth and making large noises and growls.

Sheek took a few steps back from the Hyena's who were blocking his path now between him and Yuki. He did think of using his claws to fight past them but it had started hurting quite badly very much after he attacked the first hyena, so it wouldn't be much use, his other paw wasn't his strongest and didn't want to risk having 2 damaged paws, after all he hadn't really been the best fighter all his life.

Sheek done the only thing he could do, he took a few more fast paced steps backwards and charged as fast as he could against the hyena's, He felt claws scraping past his side in which is let out a groan in deep pain, but the force of the push knocked the hyena's down to the ground. This gave Sheek just enough time to shoulder bash the third Hyena to the ground and quickly scoop up Yuki onto his back and run as fast as he good. Running was one thing Sheek was good at, he could run far better then he was at fighting, so he used this to his advantage.

As Sheek was running, he was getting concerned as he felt blood being soaked into his pelt, Yuki was bleeding badly and she needed attention quickly...and safely. Sheek wasnt in a good state either, his shoulders were throbbing with pain and bleeding badly but manageable. Sheek heard the hyena's laughing and growls grow more distant the more he ran, they soon had given up chasing him as they couldn't resist the fresh meat they had left behind. Sheek's stomach suddenly made loud groaning noise, reminding him that he hadn't in fact eaten anything and he was growing quite hungry. His run soon slowed down to a walk, he headed in direction of a large patch of grass which would be sufficient cover and comfort for them both for the time being. He gently placed her down in the long grass and laid down with her so they were both out of site. He gently nuzzled her shoulder for re-aasurence
"You will be ok Yuki" he said softly
"How are you feeling ?"

Yuki blinks, staring hard at Sheek, her eyes showing pain emotionally and physically. "We............we must go back. W-we can't let those savages have our prey......" Yuki closes her eyes and opens them again, trying her best not to go unconscious. "There was a reason why I caught the prey. I wanted you to be......" proud of me Yuki tried to say but couldn't get it out of her. Instead she shook her head and looked down at her paws, not wanting to show Sheek that she was on the verge of tears. "I......I just don't want to be just plain useless, fragile, like a flower....... Please, let me try to get the prey back. You haven't even got to take a bite, I know your hungry....." She trails off, starting to get up, glad that her wound from the hyena stopped bleeding badly but grimaces, realizing that there still some pain in the leg that was injured.

Yuki started to walk, trying to get use to the pain. Once that was in check, she started limping toward the direction Sheek ran and starts to go back to where the prey was. After she limped/walked a few meters, from Sheek, she turns around, looking at Sheek strait in the eyes, her eyes now showing determination. "Trust me. I am not scared anymore" Yuki faintly smiles, turning away from Sheek and start to walk/limp back to where the prey was.

The hyenas suddenly smell the lioness coming back that was beaten by them. Anger starts to flare up in them, thinking the lioness and lion would give up already and leave them to their prize. The three hyenas started glances at each other. they soon nod and two of the hyenas started trotting over to the direction of where the lioness was walking back to the prey, leaving the other hyena to stay back and guard the prey. When the two hyenas were close enough distance between the lioness, they started making aggressive growls and yowls, pawing the ground.

Yuki now stopped at a "ok" distance away from the two hyenas, keeping her head down, shadowing her eyes but not her face. The hyenas silenced themselves, confused at what's the lioness doing. Yuki then smirks before letting out a threating growl. "Die, all of you" Yuki says but somehow her voice had changed into a deeper woman tone, now slightly surprised at herself. Yuki raises her head, her golden eyes blazing, slightly scarring the hyenas. The hyenas now desperate, one of them lunged/jumped at her but was caught in mid-air by Yuki, the hyena in her jaws. Yuki lands gracefully to the ground, still holding the hyena firmly in her jaws. The hyena let off a cry but was cut off by Yuki sinking her fangs deeper in the hyenas jugular, now can hear the loud snap of the bones being crushed under the pressure. Yuki then shakes the hyena then tosses it away like a rag doll, having parts of the jugular in her mouth, she spits it out, licking the blood off her lips. She turns to the other hyena, already about to lunge at her but Yuki was much quicker and grabbed it's leg and uses her paw to pin it down firmly while twisting it's leg fiercely, making the hyena scream but was died out as Yuki letted go it's leg and brought down her paw, her claws unsheathed, killing it in that one blow.

Two down, one more to go Yuki thought but felt like it wasn't really her thinking. Yuki then trotted casually to the last hyena, the hyena now trembling. As the hyena started to bolt, Yuki got a hold of it's leg and started dragging him back, close enough to whisper in it's ear, She said hoarsely "I will not spare you. I have no pity for you filthy savages" After that she sank her sharp claws in it's stomach "I will make you suffer". Yuki takes out her claws from it's stomach and raises her paw, now slashing at it's stomach, killing it in 2 blows.

Yuki stepped back from the dead hyena, disgusted by it's presence. Suddenly her eyes go wide with pure shock at what she just done and staggers away from the last hyena she just killed.Yuki then screams in horror as she looks around to see blood all over the place. She trembles, feeling her heart beat pounding againsit her rib cage. Yuki then crumples to the ground, fainting.

Every feeling in Sheek wanted him to pull Yuki back from such a decision, but one thing made sheek let her go and let her do what she needed......trust. As Yuki went towards the pack of hyena's sheek reasssured

"If you need me, ill be here".

Sheek didn't know initially why he was just letting Yuki go into the fight again, but then he realised that it was her life and her decision, he hardley knew her so he dare not judge such things and just watched to see what would happen, if he felt that Yuki was in great danger, only then he would intervene.

Sheek watched Yuki in her next actions which would only be described as a slaughter, a reckless slaughter. he thought she was only going to fight them and scare them away, but after he saw the last hyena attempt to run away (which is a sign of surrender) but then stopped and brutally slaughtered, he wasn't too impressed.

Sheek sighed and walked over the Yuki whom had fainted, most likely from the shock of what she had just done.
"Oh Yuki, what have you done" he shook his head.

Sheek once again tossed Yuki onto his back and walked away from the blood stained area, again his stomach reminding him of his hunger but he didn't want to eat that prey anymore....not after what sacrifices had been made to protect it. After a short a while walk he tipped Yuki onto the ground under a tree as he saw some rain looking like it was on its way. He lay down next to her and waited for her to wake up.

Sheek inspected the now noticeable deep claw cuts on his shoulders, he started to gently lick them clean while small growls escaping his throat because of the pain.

Yuki's eyes flutter open, seeing Sheek cleaning his wounds. Yuki's eyes look down to her paws, seeing stained blood there. Yuki then remembers that she killed the hyenas with pure hatred and with no fear. A huge wave of guilt washes over her, knowing that she killed them with her terrifying killer instints. Its kill or be killed right? Yuki thought for reassurance but the guilt didn't go away, only more guilt washed over her. Instead of looking at Sheek, knowing somehow that he might be very disapointed in her, her head turns to the now grey sky, raining. Silence soon comes over Sheek and Yuki. Yuki wants to say something but nothing comes out. Still can't bear to look at Sheek, she watches the rain. "I....... I'm sorry ok? If you didn't like what I did back there, I didn't like it too but I can't control myself when it comes t-to t-to......this." Yuki's voice starts to crack, her head finally moving to look at Sheek, her eyes filled with pain. "Y-you don't know how much I had to go through to survive all on my own like this......" She looks away from him, a tear rolling down her cheek. Turning away from sheek, she curls up into a ball, slightly shivering, tensing every time she thinks about blood and how much blood she spilled to survive.

Yuki then closes her eyes, silently crying. Please,oh please don't think I'm a monster, Sheek, please...... Yuki prays,opening her eyes once more to look at the depressing rain, falling gently down. "Why......." Yuki starts to ask herself but stops, feeling it would make it worse. To take her mind off things, she looks down at her wound on her leg, maybe infected now. Yuki doesn't lick it, feeling as if she doesn't deserve to clean her wounds even after what she done. She closes her eyes again, putting her head on her fore-paws, listenting to the rain.

[Jamille]

Jamille wandered through the field of wild grass. It was starting to rain, but she didn't really care. She missed Mother, who hasn't came back from her hunting trip yet. Jamille paused, and lifted her head. She could smell other felines.... The scent wasn't familiar, but it was worth a try. Plus, she could kind of smell fresh prey! Jamille runs towards the scent, only to find herself in a clearing with two injured older cats, cleaning their wounds. They were silent, and either haven't noticed her yet or was just ignoring her. Jamille mustered up her fears and walked up to the large, intimidating cats.

"Have you seen my mother?"

Yuki heard a voice and her head turned to see a tiger cub asking a question to where her mother was. She quickly got up and soon enough, she was in front of the cub, angry. "who are you? what do you want?" A growl was crawling up her throat. She quickly stopped herself from growling. Up close, the tiger cub would be able to see the stained hyena blood on Yuki's paws and some stained hyena blood on her muzzle, looking more terrifying than she was a while back. "And what are you doing all alone in the rain?" Yuki says frowning, shaking her head and sighing, rain drenching her pelt. Yuki's head looks up to the sky, seeing the rain falling down on her face. "I....... I guess you can come under the tree with us...." Yuki gestures to the tree she was lying under with Sheek. Not knowing what else to say, she stares at the tiger cub with a blank expression and with icy cold, bright golden eyes. After a little while of silence, Yuki asks "So, what is your name?"

[Jamille]

Jamille backed away from the angry cat, terrified. What did I do? The large female calmed down, and invited Jamille under the tree.The cub trotted towards the tree and plumbed down on to her haunches. Should I talk to her? She seems really angry, maybe this isn't safe...... Oh well.
"My name is Jamille. My momma went hunting, but didn't come back yet. I'm looking for her."
She paused... Maybe...
"Do you happen to have any food? I'm reeaaaaaaalllllllyyyy hungry."
Jamille studied at the large cats, and frowned. The female looked annoyed. Was it because of me? Maybe she doesn't like me, and maybe I shouldn't have spoken. She backed away into the shadows of the tree, and looked at the female.
"What's your name? And why are you hurt like that?"

[yuki]

"NO, I don't have any food for you unless you want to walk to where I hunted my last prey but I have no guarantees that you would like to go there where there will be only sick, disgusting blood in front of your eyes" Yuki says with disgust,frowning. "I....... my name is Yuki, pleasure to meet you" She says mumbling, licking her paws, getting off the hyena blood off her. Yuki finally looks at Jamille "And you really don't want to know what happend to us......" Yuki gestures to Sheek "Let's just say that there was a huge misunderstanding between me and hyenas..." Yuki finally smiles and chuckles,amused by the tiger cub's curiousity. Yuki soon starts to lick her serious leg wound,wincing because of it's pain. "Well, I haven't seen your mother around but you can stay with us until your mother shows up" Yuki smiles again but more gently, yawning, starting to get tired.

[This Land]

As Yuki lay down, Sheek gently placed his paw on her shoulder, as a sign of re-assurance.
"Dont worry about it Yuki, its in the past...." he whispered gently

Soon after this, a tiger cub shown up shown up, Sheek let Yuki do the talking. He smiled and nodded towards the cub when she told himher Name.
"Nice to meet you Jamille, Im Sheek" he said gently.
"You are more then welcome to stay here the night with us, your parents shouldn't be too long" he said reassuringly.

Sheek looked up at the forever worsening rain, that meat would spoil soon....

"I'll tell you what Jamille, you stay here with Yuki and I'll be right back, ill grab that meat that we left behind, im a bit hungry myself"
Sheek nodded to Yuki and smiled
"Be back soon!" he said happily.

With that, Sheek darted off into the heavy rain in search of the Meat.

Jamille watched Sheek leave the shelter of the tree and run into the pouring rain. She watched him until he wasn't visible anymore, and then walked over and sat beside Yuki.
"My momma doesn't like hyenas. They always steal all the antelopes. Those are my favorite. What's your favorite?"
Jamille rolled over onto her back and stared at the leaves.
"My momma's gonna come back to get me, right?"
She turned towards Yuki, waiting for the answer.

Yuki watches Sheek leave, a tear sliding her cheek, faintly frowning. Why..... Why does he have to be so..... gentle and so forgiving. I don't deserve forgiveness but why...... Just why? Yuki thought before looking at Jamille. "I really don't know what is my favourite. I haven't tried all meat so.... I just don't know....." She chuckles. "Out where I lived, there wasn't much different prey so I don't know I guess...". Yuki yawns, pawing at the ground before looking at Jamille again sadly."I don't know if your mother is coming to get you. We'll have to wait and see........" Yuki then stares at Jamille with curiosity. "Hey, Where I come from, Your species is rare..." Yuki goes closer to Jamille to take a closer look at her stripes. "I like your species stripes. I think they are unique and bold and show.... I don't know, braveness?" Yuki shrugs, smileing softly. "Do lions respect you at home? I believe that tigers are wise, you know?" She blushes in embaressment, feeling her questions are completely silly.

"My momma told me we came from a far away land. She said my dad was taken away by humans and that she was taken here with other tigers. One night, escaped the place with all the humans and had me. She always hunted for me, and tried teaching me how to hunt too. A few nights ago she went to hunt, but hasn't come back yet." Jamille paused shyly.
"I never met lions before, you and Sheek are the first. I never really met other cubs, my only friend is momma. I think she's reeeaaaaaaallllllyyyyy smart. Momma knows everything." Jamille yawned and moved closer to Yuki. Slowly she lowered herself. "I think your species shows more braveness than mine. Yours can just go and take anything on and..." she said and fell fast asleep.

She sighs, watching Jamille sleep beside her, slightly shocked at her response about Yuki's kind and how they can take anything. Guilt soon is now in the pit of her stomach, making her feel sick. To try and shake off this feeling, she turns her head to look at the landscape in front of her, praying that Sheek is alright. After awhile, her eyes start to flutter. I must stay awake and wait for Sheek to come back! I must to repay for my actions! Yuki's thoughts yelled in determination but soon her thoughts screamed for her to stay awake but her body ached and she was very tired. Soon enough, she slowly gave out and became limp of exhaustion close to Jamille, her mind still praying for Sheek to be alright. She closes her eyes then opens them for the last time before going into a deep sleep, dreaming that she was in paradise.
