Roleplay Styles

[This Land]

Quite a few of us on here all have different styles in how they write their roleplays, which of course is awsome as we find it interesting to read. But just for reference for other members to save confusion I will compile them here, just post them and I will add it below .

This Land
"what I am saying"
"what I am thinking"
"A quote from another character"
A sudden action or sound being described with no introduction

Ok then. Mine would be:

"What I am saying."
'What I am thinking.'
"A quote from another character."

I think that's about it? I'll add in if something else comes up while I RP a bit more.

Alrighty These are mine:

"What I am saying."
"What I am thinking."
"What you said."

I use bold for my characters' lines because that makes it easier to find them when proof-reading... xP

That's it as far as I'm aware, I never repeat what other characters have said, if anything I'll make a descriptive reference to it.
(Probably should quote others character but I never see the need to)

If I think of anything else or change my style in any way I'll update make an update reply.

"This is what I use when I talk," Zorayda chirped, grinning.

'Can you read my mind right now? That's totally weird,' she thought, tilting her head with her eyes wide with curiosity.

And then suddenly, she was experiencing a flashback, in which she had said, "This is what I use when I talk".

"Hey, that's weird," Kanu suddenly commented to Zorayda, who simply nodded and stuck her tongue out. "That's sorta my style--I like bolding other roleplayer's quotes," the purple lioness replied cheekily.

-'But what about when you're having a telepathic conversation?'- Kanu asked.

-'Then I just italicize and bold your thoughts with little dashes at the ends,'- Zor thought back. -'And I do the same to mine, minus the bold.'-

"Boy, that sure was fun!" The winged lioness cheered. Kanu turned and raised an eyebrow at her. "You know, you're playing my character, which is against the rules," the moderator reminded.

"Ohhh... right, sorry," Zorayda apologized sheepishly, grinning. She turned to the audience, effectively shattering the fourth wall for good. "I hope y'all enjoyed that little demonstration, anyway!" With that, she waved a paw before spreading her wings and taking off into the depths of the Internet.
