Guess who's back.  Anyhow, I've been thinking about bringing in a few other of my characters for the RPs at some point, but I'm not sure who. xD Was just wondering if any of you older members had any requests/suggestions on who I should bring back. I made a small list of possible characters, some that used to be here a long time ago, and some that I've never actually RPed with (not here, at least), but I'm not sure who I really would like to bring in. xD Also as a side note, I'm currently at my parents' house, and the Internet here is kinda odd at times when it comes to Proboards forums. I might have some technical difficulties with time outs if I try to make too long posts (conveniently preventing me from posting anything that's longer than 3-5 paragraphs). TL was kind and offered to help me out should such a situation come up with the RPs, but over all, seeing as Xoren doesn't talk much and I don't really RP anywhere else, I think I should be fine. xD |

So today was the first day of my English Writing summer university course. The teacher (a very nice, young Aussie btw) gave us a few questions to answer and an essay to write. She said she'd check them today and see what level our writing skills are.
And then I got an email from her, saying that I passed the course based on just what I wrote today. XDD Apparently there wouldn't have been anything for me to learn on the course, so I just instantly passed. :'D
Like... how awesome is that? XDDDD

Please tell me that I'm not the only person who ever thought of that pun. xD
But for my serious question... are the forums -always- this slow? I don't mean to be critical or anything, but it seemed a lot more active earlier in the year than it is now, and the place has died before. And there is a live chat on the site and I never see anyone in there. I can understand roleplay responses coming late and such but I would think that at least there would be others in the chat. It feels like the savannah is pretty dang empty, I only see like 6 or 7 people making even semi-regular responses.

It's just that, I constantly have the place open in a tab and I spend a LOT of time online on the computer, because my college courses are heavily based on online material and it's just... lonely I guess.

Hehe, yeah, it goes up and down. Don't be afraid to start something new in the "Freestyle" section or join one of the RPs there though C: There was also talk of having a "big" chat every few weeks on the Live Chat where we set a time and try and get as many people on as possible, but I don't know what happened to that, really... As TL mentioned, I don't really know how active I'll be able to be for a while now, as I'm moving again and am about to start studying properly... We shall see how it goes. |

Sooo.. my activity might drop until next monday. me and dad are atm taking my aunt and her dog back to her home, and will then go visit his relatives. while i do have internet access i dunno if i actually have time to check things. Edit: also its darn hard to write with touch screen phone in the car with a big dog snuggling on your side all the time. xD |

Mine's been a little hectic--I haven't had a phone for three weeks, I'm busy doing online college, I'm in the running for a new boyfriend, I've been like Cinderella cleaning my house, I've been doodling and voice-acting for a super cool online project, derping around with my art.... in other words, a whole lotta stuff. But my day sure was brightened when I learned my old stomping grounds were open for round 2  (Thanks, Kanu!) So I'm wondering... is there a chat session sometime soon? I'd so love to join in and glomp everybody to death |

So I got back to uni now. I'm sitting on some Photoshop courses (again), where we currently work on drawing a watch by using only layer styles and effects. It's pretty neat, just a bit boring (hence why I have time to multitask and post here XD).
Being back in uni shouldn't affect my activity like it did last year. This year isn't so hectic and full of new stuff, so I should be fine. :3

Soooo jelly right now, Kir ;D We do compensate the lack of exams by a whole lot of other stuff that we need to do. Sometimes it seems like it'd be just a lot easier to do exams, but then again our subjects are the kind where holding exams wouldn't work. Hence the lack of them. xD I'm so glad my stressful weeks are passing now. The rest of this autumn term should be pretty simple compared to the past three weeks. This means more activity (hopefully) from me! |

I've done my last exam for this term now, hopefully I passed, but it's difficult to say... xP Now I'm back at my parents' house for a week, which is nice, but it does kinda feel strange to come back "home" and not... live there any more. I recently realised that I probably never will live here for any long period of time again and that's just... weird  Anywho, this also means that I will have time to post in the RPs now, so Imma go and start writing now ;D |
