Fire was just about to release all of his pent-up anger and frustration that he had been building up from the argument when he saw Sumai jump right in front of the dagger-eye crossfire between himself and Xena. He actually was calming down slightly from hearing Sumai's voice, a different voice that didn't irritate or make him more angrier than he already was. At that moment, he had a little bit of a moment to think of what Sumai said. I think we deserve to live in a proper place It rang through his ears somewhat. And Sumai was right. Why should he let Burja take over his homeland? His place where he grew up in?...
When he saw Xena walking away, he knew he was in deep trouble from the way she spoke. He just sat down where he was and kept a blank stare, not saying anything back. He looked over at Sumai when she was a safe distance away and whispered "I'm sorry... I couldn't handle her much longer... I know I want to get our homes back, but I don't want to risk my life for it... I value my family and my own life too much to risk it... Am I a bad lion Sumai for thinking this?.." He was asking him sympathetically, almost asking for forgiveness at this point.

OOC: Not the best I've ever written, but I'm afraid it won't get any better than this o.-
IC:Sumai let out a quiet sigh of relief as he saw Xena turn around. The storm had settled. For now. He was about to follow his commander and take his position in the line, when Fire's voice reached the old lion's ears. He soon realized that it was also him the young lion spoke to and the general slowly turned around. At the corner of his eye he saw the other pride members begin to again mobilize, and would've liked to be up front and lead, but Sumai looked directly to Fire as the other spoke.
"Am I a bad lion Sumai for thinking this..?" the younger lion finished, looking up at the general with a look that seemed to be looking almost for forgiveness.
There was a short pause while the mighty red lion contemplated the words Fire had spoken. He looked down at the ground for a moment, brows slightly furrowed, considering the right words to answer with. "No." he finally began. "No, you're not... But in war... things are different." Sumai glanced over at the backs of the leaving pride members. "In war... you have to be willing to risk your life, risk everything, to defend the ones you love. I would never be able to live with the knowledge that I did not lend my powers in a time my pride needed them. At least I would die knowing I did all I could for my homelands and comrades." Sumai sighed and looked back to Fire, who was still glowing slightly in his own light as the already setting sun had hidden itself behind a thick dark cloud and left the world beneath an eerie dusk. "If you value the lives of yourself and your family... that would give you something worth fighting for."
The general turned around, to leave the young lion to his thoughts. Sumai wouldn't hold it against him if he decided not to fight, but it would be a disappointment. Surely, it would be... "Choose wisely, Fire..." the old lion thought as he padded alongside the slowly moving pride, heading for the front line and his position.

Through the entirety of the argument, Chaza had stayed a safe distance from Fire and Xena, doing his best to stay unnoticed, and hoping no one would spot him listening. By the looks of it, he'd been successful; the pair had not so much as glanced at him the whole time. And why should they? The matters being debated were of the utmost importance to the whole Feraga pride -- to those that held such things as family, friends, and pride close to their hearts, anyway. Chaza was not in that category of lion, not anymore. Not ever again, if he could help it. And so he continued eavesdropping, a small, cynical smile on his face, as the “discussion” took an ugly turn. How very amusing.
But not without its uses. He could surely find a way to exploit the growing divide amongst the Feraga lions, and put it to his own hidden purposes. So, smiling, he walked nonchalantly up to a Sumai and the now-quiet Fire. Nodding briefly to the fiery general, he came to a stop directly in front of the younger lion. “I couldn’t help but overhear your, um, ‘situation.’ You seem an honorable sort.” Not that honor mattered much to Chaza; flattery, though, had its uses. “Could we talk” -- he glanced at Sumai out of the corner of his eye -- “alone?”
OOC: Short, yes, but I've been very much out of the loop.

Xena kept her head level with her shoulders as she walked on South, she was quite aware that Discussion would follow behind her as much as the Pride would but that was obviously inevitable. Xena knew what she was doing at the time and still did now, always one to like to know what was going to happen before it did, she felt it made her a better leader but more and more things were creeping upon her. Her powers could not rid her of her problems...There was still Zalira to talk to.
Xena gnashed her teeth as she turned her mind to returning home, her pace increasing slightly as she was eager to return there and make her prides name once again return as a threat to the Burja...Her eyes flashing as in the distance the Large Formation of rocks that was a sign of their land was ever-approaching on the horison.

Zalira just walked behind the group with her head held down and her tail between her legs. She didn't want Xena to talk to her now. The golden lioness didn't want to have her respected leader yelling at her as she had yelled at Fire.
The lioness walked slowly up to the male lion and nudged his side.
"Fire.."
The lioness spoke very quietly. And didn't say anything more, but just walked silently beside him.

Fire was just about to join up with the others since he wasn't wanted, but the familiar voice of a certain lioness kept him there at his position walking around. He knew exactly why Zalira was 'seeking refuge' near him. Xena was on the rampage. He didn't blame Zalira one bit for coming to him. It was a smart move because he was the only one probably besides Sumai that could argue against Xena without any thought of himself getting exiled from the pride. He then moved over onto the side where Xena was walking away from as to cover her as much as possible. "Zalira.. Xena's looking for you.. I know you don't want to go.. And I shouldn't let you. Xena is not in a state for good judgment. Come with me... Xena can wait.."
He noticed a lion that he did not know and listened to his offer. The lion certainly was flattering with his comments, though he almost looked as if his words didn't match his appearance. It didn't line the dots in a straight order, persay. Or.. To put it in better terms, 'line up right' in his mind. He nodded to him and said quietly "Follow me. we'll talk there, all right?"
He said before walking over to a patch of land that looked kind of discreet, enough so that others wouldn't 'accidentally' pass by. They would have to be looking for them if they wanted to find the two of them. He stood there and saw that the sun had completely set, now just the light shining over the horizon there. "I need to take my mind off of things.. And I think you should too. There's only so much that a lioness can take in her mind.. So just relax.. and we'll talk." He said calmly, but due to the current situation, that's what as charming as he would get, probably. He then sat down to stare at the setting sun, seeing the clouds like the fire he could conjure, smiling as he raised his paw out to make exactly that colour of fire in the sky. He was so glad that his mother had forced him to practice his power. Granted, he hated doing it, but he now saw why it was so important. He could literally do anything with the physics of heat... and it was all natural to him..

(( to move things along slightly i hope we don't mind if i bring in the backdrop of home already =3 Now edited))
Xena looked back over her shoulder to see the pride skulking not far behind, they had been walking for some time now, small groups of members had clustered together to talk as they traversed. Xena's eyes scanning around behind the pride for any signs of anything that should not be, seeing nothing and looking back to the path ahead. She was walking alone as she often did when thinking deep. Thinking about the prides future, thinking back to the past few weeks and the battles that had in-sued. She thought perhaps the pride needed Something else to take their minds off of it..She had ideas.
All the while the formation of rocks in the distance got nearer, some of the pride falling behind from stopping, but the path South was straight and their Den could not be missed. finally the Amazing sight of the Feraga cave came into her eye line, a faint smile that Xena had not managed to pro-cure in a while came to her muzzle as she had been waiting for this...
Xena now quickened her pace to a steady Trot, her mind was suddenly blank to most else in her Sudden flurry of Home, the cave entrance only just around the next rock as the entrance faced South also, Suddenly turning round a rock to see The cave entrance and Two Lone Lions standing In view. She skidded to a halt with eyes fixed on the pair, Her mind Flashing to hit herself with the stupidity of thought that Burja might actually leave this place un-guarded.
Poof and she was gone...
Her mind and powers acting faster that her body could move out of the way, she had of course snapped her body into its First defense mode of invisibility, the world slightly hazy as she did this but if they had not already seen her they certainly wouldn't now...But had they seen her?, it wouldn't be long before the rest of the Pride caught up....Xena simply stood dead still, eyes locked coldly in the Two defenders direction, lips pursed into a snarl but she made sure no sound was emmited....seeing what they did.

Zalira just nodded simply at Fire's words. The golden lioness lay down next to the male lion and looked around for any site of Xena coming towards them. She was petrified of what her leader would say if she did have a talk with her.
"Fire.."
Zalira looked over at him.
"What do you think Xena is going to say to me?"
The lioness had never been in a situation like this before, and didn't know what to expect after what she had said to Fire.

Gaizka laid Kirsui down gently at the entrance to the Burja den. He hadn't paid much attention to the conversation around him, as his mind was on the next move in the war that was being raged. But that could wait for now, the pride had to heal and regroup. He knew Ina would lead them in their next move once it was time.

((Posting on Behalf of Katari's Character Chaza LAST POST EDITED))
Chaza Made a faint smile as The Male lion known as fire agreed to word with him, He nodded his head, looking up only as Fire turned to head a few steps in one direction with another female, His smile turning to a smirk as he looked sideways to see the Pride Moving on ahead, Xena now out of sight having lead herself into the caves in front of the rest.
Chaza followed after Fire slowly, letting him has his moment to speak with the female who seemed quite distressed by Xena, perhaps another with a mind for his own use...If seeds of doubt had already been planted by the Leader...well then....He would indeed reep the harvest. Chaza stopped and glanced sideways at the female who had asked what Fire thought might happen to her, he butted into to answer her.
"She my dear...Will Have nothing but Bad words i can only fear..."
Now sitting down to glance over to see if Fire was listening whilst he played with his powers, looking back to the Lioness.
"You most certainly should not fear her...THAT is what gives her power...THAT is why she continues to Bully in the way that she does."
Suddenly thinking he might be becoming to forward to soon and having to calm a little before smiling charmingly at her.
"Of course i only voice my opinion.."

Fire had been probably given long enough to calm himself and rationalize out a plan for Zalira and himself. Although this new lion seemed suspicious. It almost seemed like he came out of nowhere and he was being friendly to the two of them. And it definitely got him out of sorts when he spoke to Sumai in such a tone that he wasn't welcome as well. What was so important that even a loyal comrade/friend could not hear?
He sighed gently as he got up from his spot and started walking over to her, only to rest his eyes on the lion that he had invited with him giving that smile. Fire could read lips very well, and he could interpret the last thing that he said was "Of course, I can only voice my opinion". He let a deep growl rumble inside of his chest as it was almost as if the lion was trying to imtimidate Zalira. Hed could be overreacting after all, but yet sometimes, your gut feeling is the best thing you've got. He stepped up beside Zalira and gave the lion a stern look. "You came to talk to me.. Not her. Now, let's go." He said as he asked him to follow him over to a spot away from Zalira.

((OOC: All right, I shall play a random Burja lion (Auri) as one of the guards. =3 After this event, he'll be gone from this RP. ^^ ))
Auri stood there, right in front of the Feraga den. His golden mane was not full grown. As a low rank adolescent male, he had been ordered to stay here, guard the Feraga Den with another Burja.
Auri was not pleased. He well knew the Feraga would some time come back to take their caves. It felt odd how long they had been away, and Auri - like every other guard of his age who he had taled with - feared they'd come back right when he was on guard.
The gold maned adolescent didn't remember his fellow guard's name. He actually hadn't paid much attention to the other one during the long hours on guard... Why should he have? Wasn't guarding a better thing to do than chatting with the other one?
Auri glanced around and froze. Had he seen someone? Right there...? But he didn't see it anymore. Had he been just imagining? It must have been so. But Auri couldn't help but feel nervous, couldn't help but change the weight from leg to another, scan the area. "Did you see that?" he finally asked from the other guard, still looking around suspiciously.
Kirsui was woken up when Gaizka placed her down. Her eyes fluttered open tiredly as she looked around herself. So this was the Burja Den... A faint smile rose to her muzzle. Atleast the area looked comfortable. Comfortable enough to be called home.
Her gaze stopped when she saw a light grey character nearby. Her smile widened, and she seemed to gain enough energy to stumble up on her feet. Slowly, Kirsui made her way towards Lorien and laid down next to the rock Lorien was resting on. "Hi..." she muttered, looking up at the grey lioness with a tired expression. "Are you ok...?"

OOC: Gonna be playing the other random Burja guard on duty then xP
IC: Ebun yawned. This place was so quiet... But at least the sun was setting and the day was coming to end, which meant someone would soon come to relieve her and the other fellow, Auri was his name, of their duty. The day had gone by without one noticing, and Ebun being a lioness easily bored, she thought there were more entertaining things to do... "I wonder if all the world has been as quiet today..." she thought and looked to the sky, after glancing at Auri. The dark brown lioness sighed. She wouldn't even be here if it wasn't for her abilities: she could see farther beyond than most of the other members of her pride... If someone approached, she'd usually see them first. It wasn't a truly rare ability, she knew more who had smiliar powers, but hawkeye sight could always come in handy on guard duty. Also if someone did come along and the leaders needed to know it quickly, she could 'teleport' herself back to the den in an instant. Why did they have to guard the den of an enemy pride? Sure, battle victory was always nice, and getting rid of those annoying Feragas was even nicer, but still...
Ebun yawned once more, then lay down to rest her head on her large front paws. A rest would be nice... Then suddenly Auri spoke, and the lioness winced, as if she hadn't heard speech in ages.
"Did you see that?" he had asked and Ebun lazily got to her paws again to walk up to his side and look where he was looking.
"See what?" The place was as quiet as ever, but now that the male guard had awakened her attention, she suddenly started to feel unseasy. They were alone, right?

Xena still held her Tightly bound place where she stood, not daring to move a spot in fear of if they had seen her. Her suspicious soon put to rest as the larger Male was staring right in her direction..But clearly had her suspicions put down of sorts by the smaller female obviously having seen nothing...
She had to be careful here...what powers might these two have?..might there be more of them?...clearly they were guarding what had been captured...and Xena was not 100% sure if she wanted Burja learning They were back so fast....She licked her lips as she pondered her course of action. Perhaps snaking up to the tops of the cave and attacking them where they stood, silencing their throats before they even had a chance to move....
Xena gave the two the benefit of the doubt and decided against it. Slowly taking steps Forward and around them, not more than 5 or 10 steps away from them in a circle until she was facing the pair, the cave entrance behind them, still standing sideways onto them as she looked to her right and spoke in a clear menacing tone. Still very much invisible.
"I Hope for your sakes you both are very very good..."

Zalira looked up as Chaza approached them and answered her question to Fire.
"Umm..."
The golden lioness started to reply but then heard Fire, a growling noise coming from the male, before he stood up and spoke to Chaza, instructing him away from herself.
"Ah..."
Zalira let out a sigh and flicked her tuft out of her eyes and looked around, trying to calm herself as much as possible. Chaza's words were going over in her head.
"I can't let her get to me... Everything will be fine..."
She muttered to herself reassuringly.

Lorien watched with her green eye as the group returned to the Burja den, the new male whom she did not know carrying the unconcious Kirsui on his back. The greyish lioness lifted her head slightly, if only to get a better look at what was going on. When the lioness woke up and made her way to the rock where Lorien resided, she placed her head back upon her paws. The feelings of betrayal were still there, even though she was glad to see that Kirsui was all right.
Ears perking when she heard Kirsui's soft voice, Lorien rolled over on her side a bit to get a good look at her. "I'm..." She thought a moment. What she probably meant was the battle...not how she felt. "I'm not hurt, though I probably should be." Sighing slightly, she closed her eyes, thinking back to the fight with Feraga. Why was she such a coward? Why didn't she just...stand up for herself. She might have been able to fight a fair fight.
"How about you?" Lorien asked, opening her eyes once again and looking at the long-haired lioness. "You're not badly hurt, are you?"

Ina looked around and nodded at Gaizka as he put Kirsui down on the ground near Lorien. The two started a conversation as Kirsui seemed to awaken from her unconciousness. The white lioness walked into the cave slowly and bowed her head at the two.
"Feeling alright my dear?"
Ina asked as she flicked her teal hair tuft out of her eyes and smiled down kindly at the lioness.
"Where are you hurt? We will need to get you healed."

Auri glanced at Ebun, still having troubles to remember the lioness' name. "I thought I saw..." he begun, but a voice spoke before he had time to finish.
"I Hope for your sakes you both are very very good..."
Ebun's eyes shot wide open. So he had seen something! Apparently, the one who was speaking was right in front of them, but Auri could not see her. Invisibility?
"Only a coward sneaks upon others with invisibility!" he snapped. And only after he let the last words out of his mouth he realized it may have not been wise.
Kirsui looked up at Lorien as she replied. She then noticed how Ina, this white leader of the Burja, came to her and Lorien. Something in Ina's behaviour made the creamy lioness smile. "I'm quite fine" she replied to both Ina and Lorien. "I just need some rest, that's all." She looked at Ina, memorizing what her new leader looked like. It felt to Kirsui as if just seeing her made all worries dissappear.

Lorien nodded and looked to Ina as she approached. She wondered if the leader was mad at her or not for leaving the pride at such a stressful time...not only that, but that she had sided up with Sitama. Rolling back onto her stomach, she nodded her head to the leader, adverting her eyes away, a bit ashamed of her actions.
"Ina, I apologize for leaving." She then looked up at the white lioness whom she looked up to so much. "I hope...that I didn't worry you while I was gone." She sighed slightly, thinking briefly of what had went on in the last few days...she wondered how Chaza was doing, but quickly pushed the thought from her head. She didn't want to think about him. "It won't happen again, I promise."

Ina smiled at down at Kirsui.
"Alright then, we'll leave you to it."
She motioned to Lorien to follow her out of the cave, and the grey lioness started to speak. The white lioness turned her head back around and raised an eyebrow at the young pride member.
"I'll let you off just this once Lorien... Only because I like you."
She winked at Lorien before continuing to pad out of the cave, to leave the newest pride member to rest.

Storm blinked and looked around. She streched and yawned again, tired from a long day. She kneeded the ground, tearing up the savanah floor with long, black, curved claws. Her eyes reflected the light of the sky, turning them a stormy gray, clouded with darker gray, light crackeling in the backround of them. Though her eyes were stormy, they were smiling. Storm walked over to Kirsui. "Hay,"she said, streching again.

Xena smirked wildly at the jumpy reaction of the two guards by the cave entrance. Kneading her claws slowly in the earth as The male blurted out. "Only a coward sneaks upon others with invisibility!" Her brow furrowing only slight as she turned towards the two and took a couple of steps forward, still a good 5 paces away.
"Count yourself Lucky you still have a throat to Shout out your half thought out comments, Burja."
Now her smirk back on her Black jawline once again.
"So are you going to stand aside from my Doorway...or do i and the rest Feraga have to claim it from you"
Her glinting white teeth the first thing that now came into view as starting from her nose, she let down her Invisible shield, slowly more of of her head and shoulders coming into view to show off her already Tensed forearms and matt black Fur all the way down to her Paws as she became fully visible.

OOC: Cut me some slack...it's been more than a month since I last did this. IC: Chaza turned his attention from the young lioness at his side as Fire spoke. And the reddish male was not happy with him. Ah, well, all part of the job. He nodded -- it was Fire he'd come to talk with. But he didn't need to be so standoffish about it. "Whatever you say, young one," Chaza sneered as he turned to follow Fire away. "Excuse me," he said to Zalira with a nod. "Now, as I was saying to Zalira before you interrupted, Xena only has power over the others because of their fear. She is the heart of this conflict. But you don't fear her, Fire. I've watched you." He looked away, but continued to study the younger lion out of the corner of his eye. "You're different...stronger. They need you." He nodded back leader. "You can end this war." He took a breath, paused, waiting.... "But, you must go to the heart. You have to remove the heart of the war, if you want to see your family safe." Fire would catch the implication, if he wasn't a complete fool. Not that Chaza would be surprised if he were. "But," he said with a shrug, "I only speak my mind. Why should you listen to a stranger, and a rogue at that?" Why, indeed -- but Chaza hoped he would do so anyhow. "Still...." He watched the coming battle with a bored air. "More will die, unless you do... something."

Fire was not liking the tone of the lion's voice as he spoke to him. And what nerve he had to speak to Zalira like that when he didn't even know her. But, most of his words were true. If Fire wasn't careful, his family could end up dead.. and Xena be spiraling into something that was out of her control..
"I can only imagine what Xena is dragging herself into with this war.. But then again..." He now was starting to circle around the lion. "As you said, why should I trust a stranger? A lion that hasn't even bothered to give his name... And you seem of the arrogant sort. One that he thinks that he knows everything. I damn well know what's going on, lion." He growled softly. "And I'll be damned if someone tells me what to do about it. Oh, and by the way.. My name is Fire.." He said in a cold tone.

Kirsui looked up at Lorien with a smile playing on her muzzle. She was glad that Lorien happened to be in this pride, otherwise she would not have any friends... "Yeh, think I'll do exactly that..." the creamy lioness replied to Lorien when she suggested that Kir would get some rest.
Streching, she slowly got up and made her way into the Burja caves. She saw how some Burjas stared at her momentarily, making her feel slightly uncomfortable. Pushing every thought aside, Kir walked over to a free spot near the cave wall. She was quite close to the entrance, but that was where she usually was. Sometimes, large caves just made her scared...
Kirsui laid down, curling her tail around herself as much as possible and placed her head on her paws. Still feeling the stares of other Burja lions, she turned her face towards the wall and closed her eyes. Letting out adeep sigh, she slowly begun to fall into a sleep that would bring her energy completely back.
Auri' mouth opened in pure shock when the black lioness suddenly came to his view. The young male had seen this lioness a few times, and he well knew her name... 'Xena...' he thought, a slight fear waking up inside him. Xena... The feared Feraga leader, whose strength was enormous... Or so Auri had heard from her fellow pride members. But now was not time for this!
"I am not allowed to step aside, Xena..." he spoke, his voice surprisingly steady despite the fear of what would happen next. "I have my orders... And I can not turn back from them. That for sure is something you well understand, isn't it..?" Extending his claws, Auri got into a defencing position, already gathering up his powers. He senced the wind in the air, whispering wordless commands to it, preparing to throw the blowing air straight on everyone daring to attack him or Ebun.

OOC: I'm having Graphical Communication, so I'm taking the opportunity to post something...
IC: "I hope for your sakes you both are very very good..."
Ebun froze, and it felt like somebody had poured a bucket of cold ice along her spine. That voice... It felt at least as cold as that ice. Auri shouted something to the obviously inivsible creature, and the stocky built Burja lioness almost involuntary took a step back, as if to hide behind the other male. Her hawkeye sight was of no use against an invisible enemy.
The voice continued to threaten them, and after finishing its last sentence its owner finally revealed herself. Bared glistening fangs first, then a pitch black muzzle, a pair of piercing green eyes, and the body followed. In front of them stood now Xena, the Feraga leader. Ebun's eyes widened in fear and shock and she stumbled back another step. Auri spoke, sounding very courageous, and Ebun felt guilty for being such a coward. She forced herself to take a step forwards and face the black lioness, doing her best to look somewhat brave. But Ebun was not brave... In fact, she was one of the more cowardy members of her pride, but it had never been bothering her before. They had never been at war before...
"E-exactly!" the brown lioness shouted, her voice not half as steady as Auri's. She started to wonder if it was time to go back to the den and alert the others... She decided to start gathering up energy for the location swap anyway, just in case.
Sumai and the rest of the pride were waiting, hidden behind another rock and some bushes near the forest's edge, not far from the Feraga caves; the rock formation was just within sight. The general was peering against the den and could see the two shapes of the guards. He knew Xena was approaching them and that she would reveal herself soon... She had wanted to investigate the caves herself, and call for her pride if they were needed... An unnatural silence lay over the Feraga warriors like a choking veil, and Sumai knew how much anticipation was in the air. They were all tense, including the experienced general, and only waited for what would come next... Echoes and fragments of voices reached them through the quiet breeze, but one could not make out what they said. Though apparently Xena had apparently revealed herself. "Stay put, everyone..." Sumai mumbled. It could be any time now...

Xena couldn't help but snarl fiercely at the immense game of cat and mouse that she ohhh so enjoyed. Her eyes shifting from the Male and back to the Lioness. Nostrils flaring as the scent of fear was more potent that a weeks decomposing kill..A whift of air past her ears made them twitch and her eyes narrow, it was the same whift of air that Chaza had control of...So unless he had caught up, she took it that one of these two Burja Lions had control of sucha force. It was indeed not one to be messed with, but she had fought sucha foe before and come out on top...But what of the other....Perhaps it was this intising jump into the blue that gave her the grin that listening to the two speak did...
"Ohh but i would have been soooo disappointed if you actually had stepped aside..."
Her nostrils picking up some familiar scents at it was clear The pride had caught up, her ear twitching again as she did quite hope that these two were too busy with her to realize the danger they were in with regards to plenty of Enemy on top of them...Xena's usual smirk returning as she stepped closer to the pair and leaned to one side to get a better look at them, taunting them...
"Yess....Hmm yes....A good 400 pound and....250 pounder id say....Both with ample Flesh For those that are hungry enough, wouldnt you say?"
