Xena looked stubbornly at Sumai. Indeed she knew no front attack would do them any good, either pride. She turned around to give a long exhale and ponder what was the move..She glanced one Green eye over her shoulder as Asuka came in, Xena promptly stared back to the wall....Her shoulders tensed, clearly her face was to, tensed in Rage of the news that The Poor excuse for a lion. Chaza. was back and leading Burja. She gritted her Teeth and growled softly. Churning up the ground as she dragged her claws through them..Before stepping forward to Slash them down the side of the cave wall, a screeetch sound emitted high pitched as the rock flashed with sparks. Xena put her newly acquired "razor" sharp claws away and turned round to look at Sumai.
"We will Cover this later..Right now, take Asuka and get everyone Out front...i want them ordily..in a straight line...and have prepared to Fight"
She Looked at Asuka before Heading between the two to march out into the sunlight once more.

Zalira watched as Lorien attempted to trick her group so that they could talk. As Lorien went behind a bush and attempted to look up at the butterfly on her head, but did not suceed, She flew down onto the ground and changed into a bird, so that she was bigger. "Chaza? I remember that lion... trying to cause trouble again is he?" She said in reply. She then looked up at Lorien and smiled. "It's great to see you again too... but i'm not too sure how this will go down with both our prides.. if they find out about us being friends..." She then paused. "You are still with a pride aren't you? Or is THIS your pride?"

((OOC: I noticed it... I was just waiting to see if anyone else would reply before I'd make mine. ))
Kirsui looked blankly at Storm in front of her. Stardust glanced up at Kirsui, but he didn't open his mouth. She would have to speak now and not let the hyena do the talking like usually.
Apparently, Kirsui soon understood this and a weak smile appeared to her face. "It's ok..." she said, her smile getting a bit stronger. "I... well..." The creamy lioness paused, gathering herself to speak what she had in mind. "I propably shouldn't have acted like I did either. It's just..." She shrugged, still smiling at Storm. "So... Would we be friend again?"
Stardust smiled weakly, turning quickly to look away from the two to hide his joyfull smile. This was great. It seemed that his friend was finally starting to trust other lions again. Exactly what the hyena wanted.
Stardust's eyes narrowed when he noticed Lorien. For some reason, the young lioness was walking behind everyone else, and she was also awfully quiet. "You ok, Lorien?" The hyena took a step closer to Lorien, a concerned expression on his face as he waited for a reply.

Sumai cringed as the black lioness' claws scratched down the wall, that was a sound he could barely stand. He took a deep breath and tried to shake it off as his leader turned to him.
She gave her orders and the general nodded and turned around rigidly, almost mechanically, with that same stern look on his face as always when he was concerned or in deep thought. This time, however, it was the held back rage that made him move so stiffly.
"I want them ordily... in a straight line... and have prepared to fight."
"Listen up, you poor excuses for warriors!" he shouted as he stepped out of the cave, indeed looking intimidating from his high position by the rocky entrance. "You have business to attend to, so quit the munching and lift your lazy behinds from the ground!" The firey red general climbed down and landed softly in the grass, the other pride members held a respectful, even fearful, distance, just as he wanted it... "I want you all nicely lined up! And the ones standing out of order, I will personally make out of order." Sumai shouted, then snarled at a young lioness who came too close and shoved her back into the line while walking by, tail whipping back and forth furiously.
He organized a nice line-up facing the approaching figures and patrolled up and down before stopping in the middle, looking at the somewhat confused faces of his pride. They surely had no idea of what was going on, but obeyed none the less. Sumai couldn't help but be proud of them, but yet was no time for praise and commendation. "We have the enemy right in front of your sorry noses, and I suppose none of you scallywags noticed." He snorted and glanced over his shoulder, the approaching characters were clearly visible now, their still distant figures distorted by the hot vibrating air... "I'm expecting you to fight on my command." were the general's final words to his pridemembers before he turned around to concentrate fully on Chaza and the other Burja-lions. The general took a deep breath and straightened up, green eyes narrow and pointed black ears perking forwards. For whatever was ahead, he would not let Chaza escape this time...

THIS POST WAS CREATED BY KATARI, I AM JUST POSTING IT FOR HIM.
So. That Storm creature was back, and apologizing, too. For what, Chaza didn't know, and didn't care; probably some little tiff when he'd been away in the morning. "Shut up!" he snapped. "No need to announce that we're coming!" Everything made him irritable when trouble was in the air. "Just...just keep quiet."
He heard a noise behind him as Lorien fell back, but when he turned to look, she was still there. Chaza shrugged and kept walking. Feraga was arranging themselves into some excuse for a battle line -- they knew he was coming, but they didn't know what he was up to...only he knew that. "I'll go on ahead," he told the group behind him. "The rest of you stay put, but be ready to move if anything starts." Which it probably would....
Chaza moved on, a little strut in his step, not stopping until he was a short distance away from the enemy pride. The same faces he'd seen before now greeted him. Sumai, Xena, a few others that he recognized. All glaring at him. He splayed his murderous claws with a satisfied smile. They stood there, waiting, snarling. All ready to rip him apart. Just like old times. "Hello, there," he said, grinning just a little -- he couldn't resist. "Hope I'm not interrupting anything...important?" Looking from face to face, playing his little games. "Xena, my dear...you look so vicious today. Lovely." He chuckled. "And General Sumai; fiery as ever, I see." Now to wait, and hope they'd take his bait....

Strom smiled. "I really am sorry, you know." She said. She really did want to be friends. Her gray head truned to Suami. "Whats with him?" She said to Kirsui. Her white laws kneeded the ground. She wouldn;t mind a nice fight...though she was in a good mood, she would never trun one down. The thought made her fur stand on end with excitment. Her tail started to lash slightly...

((OOC: Silver, Sumai is in the Feraga, so I assume you meant Chaza. He's the one who said your char to shut up ;] ))
Kirsui looked at Chaza and shook her head. "I don't know" she replied, seeing now how the Feraga members seemed alert. She remained still, since Chaza had told to do so. But she had a bad feeling about what would happen next. If Chaza had brought them here only to fight with Feraga members... Kirsui didn't want to do that. She had nothing against Feraga. 'I'll only defend' the creamy lioness found herself think. 'I'll only defend myself anc Dusty...'
She turned to look where Stardust was. The hyena seemed concerned of what Lorien was doing. Kir didn't really understand why, though. Lorien was doing nothing, just being really quiet. But she didn't know it was exactly why the hyena was concerned. Stardust looked at Lorien for a moment, but returned then to his usual place next to Kirsui. He was silent, and he still glanced at Lorien from time to time. But he also watched as Chaza spoke to the Feraga members.

Xena stood still for some time as just behind her Sumai arranged the pride. She didnt even listen to what he was barking at them as her mind was busy ordering the events. She knew what would transpire here and also knew exactly how to handle it. She had played her next move a thousand times in her head, the demise of Chaza was a warm thought. As his own line stopped and Chaza walked forward she had to contain herself from going for him, the top half of her body slightly leaning towards him as it was only her head stopping her paws from moving. How he should be allowed to get away with marching right upto her prides door made her blood boil. That same cheesy grin on his face made her teeth bare as he came forwards and addressed herself and Sumai. Xena took one step forward but wouldnt take another. She would stick close to her pride and they would face what may together. Xena had no problem dying for them..but would be dammed if more would die for her. She took a deep breath as she decided to play him rather than kill him.
"Ohh Chaza...always such the Protagonist..."
She leered at him whilst putting on a crude smile. Xena knew he would be here to provoke a fight, one which she would not give easy until his true intentions were shown.
"Before you start doing whatever it is your here to do.... Take a look at who follows you and compare them to my pride. ..You may have placed them back there to try seem important to come out and speak....but i think its really because you don't want me and my fellow pride seeing their faces....their faces which show how un-willing they are to be here....and to be here under you."
Her last words making her smirk even more as it was clear some sort of pity rebellion had gone on...

'I get it ok, just shush already and quit freakin yelling at me. I'm standing in line it's not THAT hard to do. Not my fault everyone else takes five days to do it,' thought Alandriene as Sumai roared out orders. She could see the outsiders drawing nearer. And was that a hyena or just some severely misshappen young lion?
She smirked as the young male strolled up jauntily and promptly insulted the two top members of her pride. 'Wouldn't it be fun to take him down a few notches?' ran through her head. Yes, at the rate he was headed at least a scuffle seemed to be in order. Alandriene held her place in line, however, but was still ready to spring if there was some fun to be had.

POST WRITTEN BY KATARI
Chaza didn't lose his composure, but he did lose his grin, and his eyes narrowed. Xena was playing some kind of mind game with him, and he needed to learn the rules -- and the end goal -- before playing along. He noted that she was barely in control of her temper, though, and that was good. He'd learned the hard way about rushing into things; better to let them make the first move in a mind game.
"...always such the protagonist...." Chaza inclined his head very slightly, a mockery of a bow. "Guilty as charged." She was obviously trying to bait him. Mind games. Chaza would not take that bait, not yet. He felt the ground with a paw, waiting for her to finish talking. Knowing that if this went off wrong, he might not live to see a new day. Now she was after him to turn and look back. Obviously a ploy, so she could tear into him from behind. He wasn't that gullible. But the words were true.
"Maybe you're right," he conceded with a shrug; then a smirk replaced his grim expression. "But why would I turn my back on you, just to look at them -- and see what I already see in the eyes of your pride? Right?" Then, walking a step closer, he glared menacingly, letting the relaxed mask fall for a moment. "You should know not to underestimate me by now. But, oh, I forgot -- you'd need intelligence for that." He snarled, and almost turned, but didn't; no way could he give them a chance to attack from behind. He would draw out the reaction he wanted, in time...mind games were a specialty of his, as well.

"Right then..." Said Storm, rolling her green eyes at the lions. Her large gray paws kneeded at the ground, tail still lashing at the thought of battle. But whatever the thought of battle did to her mind, she still hated being ordered around. She didn't care who the lion was-or what he/she could do to her-she sitll hated it.

"But why would I turn my back on you, just to look at them -- and see what I already see in the eyes of your pride? Right?"
Xena's smirk turned even more jeering as Chaza commented this. She now had full control of what was going on. He had no idea what he was doing here..and this was Feraga territory. Xena laughed.
"Oh Chaza...That would indeed be right...if that were True...The Lions behind me are with me because they choose to be....Your pathetic band of Rebels are with you because they have no one else to be with. Pfff..i even see a Hyena back there..some pride indeed"
Her eye line leaving Chaza's to give a very carefree look back to his line of roughnecks..she had no worries of what he or they would do because she would give it back double. Her view going back to Chaza once more before she stood to her full height..her voice addressing all nearby.
"Anyone who holds the noble grace to be called a member of the Feraga Pride....may return to the Cave if they so wish...If they Dont want to be here.....under me...they may go inside"
Her statement was a bold one indeed. There was the possibility that all would turn and go inside leaving her on her own..she knew at least one could be trusted. Her eyes glinted in Chaza's direction as she lowered her head allowing him to see if anyone would leave her line.
"State your business here"

Asuka stood in the line, unmoved. She would battle these wretches, even if it meant giving her life for the cause. As long as she could sink her teeth and claws into that lioness...it would all be worth it. __________________________
Lorien looked to the ground slightly. She then looked back up to Zalira. "I'm just...with them. I'm still a member of Burja...though I'm not sure they know it. I'm not really sure what's going on...but I can't leave Chaza." She looked around the rock as the group advanced upon Feraga and Chaza stepped forward. Turning back, she sighed. "I'm not sure why...I just feel it's something I need to do." She heard speaking between the prides. "I better go...it was good talking to you again." And with that, suddenly her 'double' can rushing toward where she was and slowly disappeared once out of sight. With a last look at her long lost friend, Lorien dashed back from behind the bushes and ran to meet back up with her group. Hopefully...no one had noticed.

Alandriene stood proud in the line of her pride, her head held high. She wouldn't abandon Xena even though she really wasn't here for the pride. Alandriene was here simply because she felt that her reasons to leave weren't yet good enough. She stool tall and proud to show that she was not afraid of a potential battle. She wanted those outsiders to notice her fearlessness and how strong she looked. She also wanted some excitement if a scuffle started.

Zalira listened in silence to Loriens words. Then Lorien said goodbye and ran off after her so called 'group.' She still didn't speak. Her form then turned back into her normal form of the golden lioness. She walked slowly back up to the battle scene, and walked inside the cave and sat down. There was no way that she was fighintg Lorien.

Kirsui and Stardust could easily hear every word Xena spoke. The creamy furred lioness' eyes narrowed when the Feraga leader mentioed Stardust. A slight growl escaped her muzzle. "Shus, Kir.." the hyena beside her whispered. Kirsui glanced at the hyena. "But.. she...!" she protested, only getting a sigh as a reply. "It doesn't matter.. They're trying to make us angry.."
Kirsui frowned even more and turned her eyes again to the Feraga leader. Stardust on the other hand looked around and noticed Lorien coming towards them. He had a pretty good idea that the grey lioness had been somewhere else momentarily. The hyena just smiled to Lorien, nodding slightly. He was going to keep this as his own information, no one else needed to know.

Sumai's stance had remained controlled and collected. Though he had felt a bolt of nervousness shoot through him as Xena made her statement; anyone who didn't fancy her as a leader was free to leave them. He shouldn't have been nervous, but it was still a very bold statement to make. It seemed, however, like most of the Feraga members stayed. The general found this when he glanced over his shoulder shortly, but he could indeed see a couple of members squirm with uncertainty... So there were those who questioned Xena's leadership? Well, yes, that was something Sumai already knew, but it still looked like they were too afraid to openly admit it. Perhaps because they feared what the black lioness would do to them afterwards... Though... where was Zalira?
Otherwise the firey red lion had kept his muzzle shut and expression stern and focused. These games of the mind were not among the battle-styles he preferred and would leave this up to Xena, who rather seemed to enjoy it than avoid it. The only movements the general's body made were the constantly twitching ears that kept scanning the area around him, looking for any abnormal sounds that could mean danger, and the slowly swaying tail. Any moment Chaza and his henchmen could lash out on them, and the last thing you wanted in a moment like that was to be unprepared.
"State your business here." were Xena's words, and Sumai's concentration tightened further. So... would he give them an answer?

This was going on longer than Chaza had thought it would, but no matter; he had always been one for repartee, and this verbal sparring was great practice. “Oh. They choose to follow you. I see.” He looked up and down the line of Feraga lions -- a powerful force, yes, but not so mighty as their leader seemed to think. “And as for my ‘rebels,’ as you put it…they follow me because they know it’s the best choice.” Of course, Sitama and her group probably wouldn’t mind mauling him from behind, but that was a risk he’d just have to take.
“I never said they were a pride,” he said, “but if that’s what you want.” Chaza stifled a smile as Xena spoke to her group; but after hearing what she said, he became very interested. None of the lions had moved yet, but a few looked as if they wanted to.
He barked a short laugh. “Very nice. They’re a loyal bunch. But, then again, I wouldn’t leave, either, if I was them. Because you’d come after anyone who did. And they know it.” He flicked his tail lazily. “Sorry to ruin your little demonstration.”
Now at last they got to the point of all this. Chaza spoke slowly and clearly, choosing his words with care. “I think you know, Xena. There’s not room enough for three prides in these lands. I have nowhere else to go, and I don’t plan on leaving. So let me make this very clear: you can either stay, and join me, or leave, willingly...or the hard way.” Chaza watched the Feraga lions’ eyes for their reactions, then returned his gaze to Xena with a cold smile.
“Simple enough for you?”

There was a long whistled silence after Xena had Spoken. Her words still spinning in her own mind at what her pride may do. But there was no voice of movement. Her head slightly went to one side to see Everyone still standing still.... Most with stern expressions. She also saw Zalia return and walk into the cave as if nothing was happening. Xena had an emotionless face as she turned it back into the Vision of Chaza. She wouldn't forget those who would fight this day, those who would stay behind her....for whatever reason.
“Sorry to ruin your little demonstration.”
said Chaza...Xena made a mad face..teeth baring at the insult of the Lion laughing at her. She would have had no queries with those that did not want to fight but it would have been one tough time telling them that. Instead she stood with teeth bared at Chaza, her tail snapping back and forth as he layed down his terms for her pride to become sub-servant to his.
"Never!.......... Your actually right Chaza..for once"
Her Eyes squinted as she poised as if seconds from an attack, her tail coming up her side to point in his direction, her Matt black Furr's tips beginning to disappear and go invisible, as when she totally lost it, sometimes her powers got the better of her. Now her words were spitting out of her mouth with Rage as she now had lost all humor for the situation as well as her patience. Now she would do what she did best.
"This place is To big for three...How about i make this simple for you.....BACK DOWN or This day will end bloody indeed..three Will Become two"
She took another step in the direction Of The Lion, her head going lower..her eyes snapping into their night mode as it made ever part of Chaza's Anatomy light up like a beacon. His throat so exposed..

OOC: Sorry for posting kind of quickly again, but I thought we needed my response before we could keep going at a good pace. Shouldn't happen again. IC: No one had moved, and Chaza’s nerves were on an edge sharper than those of his bared teeth. The ultimatum was laid down, now he only needed to wait. For whatever came…. More likely than not, this would end violently; he instinctively readied his telekinetic powers for swift action, if it was needed. His thoughts flashed quickly like bolts of lightning -- would he live through another battle? Would his “followers” join him, or turn tail and run? What would be the end of it, even if he did win…two bloodied prides, and a land that was ravaged beyond saving? Was it worth all this for that? He didn’t have time to think up answers. Right now, survival was the only concern. And if Xena’s reaction to his mockery was any indication, she didn’t plan on letting him do that. It would have been amusing if that rage had been directed towards someone else; as it was, it only made him tenser. “How about if I make this simple for you ?” She had begun to go invisible, making things that much more difficult. How was Chaza to fight an enemy he couldn’t see? But he had handled it once, and he would again, just like he’d handled everything else since he’d entered this cursed patch of savanna in the first place. He squared himself with where he thought Xena was -- she existed as a vague sensation in his mind, a byproduct of the telekinesis, and a useful one -- he could sense her body mass in that direction, but the nuances of expression and posture were lost on him. This meant that if she sprang at him quickly, it would be too sudden for him to see it coming. Unless he could take her out before she reached him. Checking the nearby terrain, he saw some good-sized rocks and such, but nothing that would seriously injure an attacking 200-pound lioness. It was no good trying to bluff, that had failed completely. He only hoped his companions would back him up. Either way, he had no choices left but to fight. Nothing for it. “I’m not backing down…so there’ll only be two prides left.” He gave a small shrug, crouching into attack position at the same time. “One way or the other.” - - - - - - - - - - Sitama didn’t like this at all. First, that idiotic rogue Chaza had to go playing word games with that Feraga hussy…and now she was going to attack him without showing herself! Sitama ground her teeth in frustration -- she had been a fool to go along with this. But here she was. And yet, something good would come out of a fight: Feraga blood. If she could just sink her teeth into the neck of one of those animals…if only. A glance showed that her companions, the ones that had followed her, were just as eager to engage. But the others, Kirsui and Stardust, Lorien and -- oh, that Silver was around again -- none of them looked very enthusiastic at all. She snorted, doubting very much that they would make it through any combat. No matter. “What are we waiting for?” she snarled, reaching deep within to her limited mental powers, making a small rock about the size of her paw hurl through the air towards the battle line facing them. It struck one of the lionesses, a commoner, in the leg; the victim staggered, not badly hurt, but she’d be disadvantaged at close quarters. Sitama let out a roar, and started forward at a walk towards Chaza and Xena, wondering which one would move first…she would enjoy killing both of them after this was all over.

((OOC. as indeed...i may have to post again to get things moving into what really was inevitable ^^ sorry))
IC.
Xena could see minds whirring, she had been insulted to far to let anything go. Blood would spill because of this lion. She growled, fiercely, a single drop of saliva falling from a jagged tooth as her eyes possessed the soul of the devil. A yelp made her flinch, and realize that a rock had been hurled at Her pride behind her, eyes snapping to see the advancing form of Sitama already engaged.
Xena had no time for talk, clearly that Lioness was after Feraga and that was all the information she needed that she would become a target also. Xena sucked in air and allowed a bellowing Roar to blast itself in the direction of Chaza who was but a mere few steps away.
As she did time almost stopped for her. Everything seemed so slow The scared looks of those around could almost be tasted Xena fed of the fear of her enemy and would only hope that Sumai would take heed and push all into combat. Xena had her own personal struggle to take care of. In her mind she already planned what to do, it was not just Chaza or Sitama that was her target. But her target was also that of the Burja Line, she would sink her teeth and laws into many before it were stopped.
As quickly as the time seemed to slow it sped up again. Xena herself lunging into action as her Black coated snapped invisible as she bounded left then right, but always on a bee line for Chaza, throwing her weight with every little piece of agility and speed she could muster. Reaching Chaza's startled expression and swiping a Paw full of claws right in the direction of His face as She passed him on his right.

Lorien came in during the conversation, but really didn't listen to much of it. She found her way next to Stardust and Kirsui, and looked at the line of Feraga lions and lionesses before her. Her eyes suddenly halted as they spied the lioness who had almost killed her the fight before. Her eye was closed, and Lorien knew that she probably wouldn't ever be able to see out of it again. Her eyes widened when she realized that the other eye was focused on herself. She knew that if fighting broke loose...she would be in grave danger here.
Lorien quickly turned her eyes to Chaza and Xena and caught the last bit of the conversation before the black lioness went invisible. She took a hurried step back when Sitama's voice rang into her ears. They were going to fight...it was inevitable. Lorien didn't like this at all. She now realized how badly she wished she were back in her own den with the rest of the Burja pride. ______________________________
Asuka stood there, staring down the young, grey lioness. When the word was given...she would strike, and hard. She had focused everything on her and only came out of the concentration when the lioness next to her was hit by a flying rock.
Asuka growled deep in her throat, and when Xena roared, invisible to all eyes, she herself looked to Sumai, awaiting the orders of the general before jumping into action. The anticipation was killing her.

Sumai clenched his teeth and stared at the disappearing figure of his leader, Xena. He glanced over at Chaza, then back to (what was still visible of) the black lioness. Her temper had got the good of her again and now there was nothing and no one stopping her. "Damn!" he thought, even if he had kind of known that anything but a battle was an impossible outcome in a discussion between these two. The general slowly fell into a tense, more battle-like stance and waited for the spark that'd light the fire. Xena was completely invisible and her position was impossible to decide at this point. Sumai waited for her to do the opening strike and took a deep breath. Chaza's little followers were obviously also ready for a fight, at least most of them, the four others didn't look very keen on this at all. Hmm...
Suddenly a yelp of pain interrupted the red lion's thoughts and he glanced over his shoulder again to see that a smaller projectile, probably a rock, had hit one of his warriors' leg. Sumai's gaze hardened and he glared at the enemy, intense emerald eyes glimmering with anger. Seconds after that, Xena's powerful figure appeared again out of nowhere and swiped against Chaza's face.
So this was it.
"Chaaarge!" was the general's single, oh so dramatic, order and pointed at the group gathered ahead with a paw. Feraga did indeed understand his word and obeyed by doing exactly what he had said; charge. They were a full pride against 9 individuals. This should be easy.
Sumai did not run ahead himself, he thought the enemy group in front of them was too gathered at the moment, it'd be better to split them up a bit. The red-furred lion sat back on his back legs briefly and charged a smaller fireball between his front paws; a few seconds later he released it, shooting it straight against Chaza's little pride. None of the Feragas had reached them yet, and Sumai hoped they'd have enough sense to move out of the projectile's way. On both sides. Even if the enemy only split in two smaller groups, that would do. A roar of rage escaped the red lion's maw, his entire body filled with a will to fight and defend his land. Sumai now followed his warriors, their foes would soon find out what the proud Feraga were made of...

((OOC: at last! > )) Kirsui's eyes flashed and she cursed as Sumai started the attack with his fire. "OUT OF MY WAY!" She pushed Storm and Stardust away from herself as the pupils from her blue eyes suddenly dissappeared. The hyena stumbled on Lorien, giving an apologising look to the grey lioness. Kirsui didn't see this. Suddenly bright blue flames appeared all around the young lioness' body as she jumpped forward, away from the others. The icy flames made her hair wave wildly at the air and froze the plants around her paws. She rose to her hindlegs, staring at the bright red fire that Sumai had sent towards them. She herself raised her forelegs and slashed them towards Sumai's fire. The icy armor around her flashed as she sent her own flames to meet Sumai's. She growled and lowered to all fours. She did not look if her flames were working against the red hot flames, but she certaintly hoped so as her pupiless eyes glaring at the red general of Feraga pride who was now coming towards them. Oddly enough, Kirsui did not fear this becoming fight. She was angry at Chaza, who had led them to this mess and she cursed herself of coming with him. But her will to protect her friends was stronger than the hate she felt. Momentarily she glanced backwards at Stardust, turning then to bare the attack of Feraga lions who were already very close to her. Somehow, her eyes locked on Sumai once again and a frown came to her face.

The shout and movement from behind diverted Chaza’s attention for just a second…but in that second, all hell had broken loose. Sitama, he thought darkly, wishing that he’d never seen the bloody lioness. The rock-throwing was not the best way to begin a battle, and it only helped to enrage the enemy; he heard Sumai giving the order for a charge, and wondered how his group would ever survive an all-out attack. How had he gotten into this mess in the first place? He should have turned back the moment he entered these lands.
The renegades from Burja could handle themselves, and Kirsui and Stardust must have some skill in combat to have survived alone. But Lorien…concern for her was strong in his mind. He had gotten her into this. Yes, she had chosen, but she had chosen in order to follow him. It was his responsibility -- he had to protect her, for conscience’s sake, if nothing else.
But first, there was the problem of a certain murderous lioness. Chaza roared in pain as Xena’s unseen claws struck him full in the face, the same instant as a fireball streaked past, singing the fur on his back. Chaza’s head recoiled at the blow, but he shook it off and lunged in the direction of the attack. With maneuvering out of the question, he would have to get a grapple hold to take away the advantage of invisibility. And no Feraga lion would attack him, not if there was a chance that their leader would be hurt.
One thought carried loud and clear through the maelstrom: kill or be killed.

From a distance could be heard the firce sounds of battle. From a distance could be seen the flashing of various supernatural abilities. It wasn't what brought him, but it was what drew him from his path to get a closer view. What a view that met his eyes. A battle... of what origin he could only guess, having just arrived, yet the brilliant display of supernatural abilities mixed in with what ferocity battles normally enflared, it was truely something to behold for any whom was not apart of the battle. Closer and closer he came, until he was right beyond the battle. He was silent, sitting down, with tail wrapped around his forepaws. Content to gaze across the battle, amused by the various ways they clashed against each other. Though through it all one caught his attention... one seemingly standing alone... yet still fighting.
He lay now in a comfortable position, this battle surely could go on for too long in too short a time, that he knew. So he would wait. Wait until the fighting came to an end. He didn't seem perticularly worried of becoming caught in part of the fighting going on around him. He knew how these things went... too busy fighting off the ones attacking them, there's little to no time to go after one harmless. Especially one like this.. long as he didn't pose a threat he possibly wouldn't be noticed until they were given a moment to survey. At first he had no idea what lands he was on or what the fight was about, he could however, given time able to distinguish from scent, some of whom actually were from the land they fought on... though the mix of blood and dust in the air made even that difficult to tell which scent belonged to whom. Of course the added smell of searing flame in the air, added to it.
Idly, with one eye on the fight ahead, he began to groom a forepaw. Using only slow movements so as to not draw attention and/or potentially aggression.

Lorien's eyes widened when she heard the word 'charge' fill the air. She was suddenly aware that Stardust pushed into her...or better yet, was pushed into her. Eyes still wide, she was in awe as Kirsui stormed forward and a blue fire surrounded her. She had never imagined that the timid lioness could show such courage and power. Taking a few steps back, she watched her as her hair blew furiously in the wind.
Lorien's awe soon turned to fear when, out of the courner of her eye, she saw a familiar lioness running full force toward her. She had no idea of what to do; should she turn tail and run or face her fear and fight? Her eyes trailed once again to Kirsui, and shefound her answer. Eyes narrowed and claws extracted, Lorien spread her legs defensively and awaited whater was to come her way. _______________
At the very sound of Sumai's voice, Asuka was in movement, leaping into the battle scene before the general could finish the word. She had her eye set on one thing and one thing only. As dust and bits of grass flew up behind her, she dodged around both Chaza and the lioness with the blue flams, her concentration so clear that she could almost taste the blood of her foe. When she finally got the greyish lioness in clear sight, a grin spanned her face as she saw the look of fear on the other's. Her eyes narrowed, but it seemed the other lioness had gained some courage.
Asuka slowed her pace, but the grin remained plastered on her face. As she neared, she stopped in front of the lioness. "You don't know how long I've waited for this moment, little missy." Although only a few days, this was all her mind was bent on; it consumed her. Asuka took another step forward and this time spoke inside Lorien's head. I'm going to enjoy killing you, my dear. Chuckling, she took another step forward, savoring every moment of this.
She then put one of her most difficult powers to the test. She bent all of her will toward Lorien and the image of killing her. She could see it work, as the courage in the younger lioness faltered and a look of horror was displayed on her face. Asuka grinned: her plan of distorting the others thoughts had worked and had shown Lorien inside of her head what she planned to do with her. Taking a look around, she surveyed the scene and then brought her eyes back to Lorien who took a step backward. "Your little traitor of a friend isn't here to save you this time," Asuka's eyes widened in delight as she took yet another step forward. This was going to be too easy.

Xena fell backwards with a smash as Chaza caught her on her way past him. At that time she heard the thundering sounds of Lions going to war. This aided in the fact to only spur her onwards. She Snarled and wriggled viciously underneath Chaza, using her Hind feet claws to scratch his Belly as her claws flung wildly as they tryed to land scrapes across his face.
She has going Crazy with rage as she was held, this was no way for her to fight. She needed up, The bright Green vision Of Chaza seemed to get brighter with every second of lashing out at him.

OOC: I am not sure on the scenery and how it currently looks, so I will be vague in my description of it for now.
IC: Gaizka peered over the top of a hill at the plains and wilderness he used to call home years ago. It wasn't his original pride, his original pride was destroyed before he reached one and a half years of age. Ambushed under the dark cover of night; leaving the murderers faceless. The Burja pride took him in, gave him a home, instead of leaving him wondering the landscape until death finally called. His time with the Burja pride was short lived, however, as his heart new he wouldn't find the answers he longed for if he didn't go and search them out. Leaving, alone, in the middle of the night, with not so much as a trace, was the method he chose to make his departure; vowing to return to the Burja pride, the pride he felt deserved his loyalties, and his life.
Over the hill and sprinting, looking for any sign of life from Burja, the grass whipping at his legs, the cave he remembered from his time in the Burja pride over 2 years ago started to come into view. Two figures started to form outside the entrance to the cave. Lions! This could be the Burja pride! The two lion figures grew larger and larger. Gaizka could make out the appearance of a young lion, more likely a young male. The other figure started to come into view; a white lioness with distinct markings. Ina was her name, he remembered.
Gaizka's sprint turned into a fast walk up towards the two figures, wind lightly blowing across the grass past his legs. Would Ina remember him? What was once an adolescent cub with barely a mane was now a full grown lion; and Ina, a full grown lioness. His coat, a light brown, was still the same, but now it was accompanied with a golden mane teamed with streaks of a darker brown shade. As he came closer, he could sense her life energy, as well as the life energy of your younger companion. Hopefully she would welcome him back, instead of cast him away a deserter.
"Ina...", Gaizka said, hoping to get her attention. Over the years he had learned many fighting skills; covert movements being one of the many. One more try, "Ina!"

At Sumai's yell Alandriene burst into movement. She could feel it already, the supercharged energy she always seemed to acquire whenever she felt in danger or when she was extremely excited. All of her muscles ached to move and screamed with joy with every stride she made. Her mouth pulled back into a devilish grin and she bared her overlong canines. Her target was obvious to her: the tan lioness with the bold stripes on her face. The large framed lioness had caught her attention when she sent that rock hurtling toward one of her pridemates. She couldn't seem to get there fast enough; this would be a fun fight. As she got within a few strides of the enemy Alandriene lowered her running stance. This lioness was tall, almost if not the same size as Alandriene herself, but Alandriene was much bulkier. She wouldn't bother initiating the fight with her claws or mouth. No, Alandriene was simply going to bowl her over by ramming into her with her massive chest. Alandriene crouched as low as she could on her last stride and used her powerful hindquarters to launch herself at the enemy's shoulder...
