Part 3:Family Matters

As the Wamesahau army moved into the firefly Field, Kadoo watched the fireflies fly around her head. She watched as Umeacha lead his army down through the grass. She stood next to A.J. as her father spoke to his men.

Umeacha stood in front of his men, they all walked behind him out of formation. He stopped and turned to them.
"Today, we will fight for the right, that my father, and his father before him, lived to keep! The right, to freedom!" The men were in an uproar.

"My bother Mwiba has banished, and kill your families! Are you going to let him kill you?" They all yell.

"Then we will fight, and we.. will.. Concur!" Everyone, including Kadoo, were cheering.

[Nakisisa]

(( Just borrowing Mwiba slightly ))

Dawn was just breaking, Awia was already asleap, and ready for the final part of his mission, he quietly went into the royal caves, waking Mwiba with a slight shake, making sure his presence was known, and that Mwiba kept quiet.

Feeling the shake, Mwiba opened his eyes, feeling a paw on his muzzel he understood the time had come for Nabu's allegiance change. He nodded as he got up, following Awia out of the cave and out onto the grasslands bellow. As Awia went into the normal caves and started dragging Nabu out, However Nabu did not awake. Mwiba asked "So what do I do?"

"Just ask, or, tell him anything, and he will answer honestly and follow any commands you give" Awia said, A grin appearing on his face. "I will now wake him up." he said removing a small herb from his bag and shaking it infront of Nabu's nose, "Now sire." he said looking at Mwiba.

"Nabu, You will not speak until spoken to, do you understand?"
"Yes Father"
"Before you were captured, did you and your friends have a mission?"
"Yes father"
"What was it?"
"I was to spy here as Kadoo and AJ went to find uchema to get his army and V went to find the gorillas, Father."
"You will now pledge your allegiance to me, You will be like the prince you were before you met AJ, Kadoo and V, AJ, Kadoo and V, are not important and you will not worry about then"
"Yes Father, I pledge my allegiance to you, you are the king and I am the prince, I will follow in your footsteps and secure the kingdoms, with power and fear.
"You will follow any order I give?"
"Yes Father"
"Without question or trouble?"
"Yes Father"
"Good my son, go back to the caves and sleep, when you awake you may speak freely and act normaly as if this never happened, But remember, you will do anything I say"
"Yes Father" Nabu said finally, his voice like it was before he met AJ, Kadoo and V.

"Awia, how long will it be before the effects wear off?" Mwiba asked sniffing the air

"Never sire, there is only one cure, water that has been through the tree of life, and that has been blessed by the shaman who lives there" Awia answered, his grin becoming more of an evil smile

"And how far away is that?" Mwiba asked concerned

"Almost a Months travel there, and another month back, sire" said Awia, his evil smile becoming more pronunced

"Good, you may rest now, as will I, we don't want to cause too much suspicion, do we?" Mwiba said, as they both started to walk back to the cave,

"No sire" Awia answered, returning to his normal look as he too walked back to the cave, where they all slept until dawn.

A.J smiled as he stood next to Kadoo and watched Umeacha inspire all of his followers, including A.J. "So, this is where it all starts, an this is where it will all end. In battle. Not how I would've wanted it, but that is how it has ended up. We will show Mwiba that he can't just simply take our lives away from us, because together. We. Will. Prevail."

As Salem and his men marched down to the grassland, V looked out to see what he thought would be his final sunrise.
"Who amoung you..." V said.

"Now that the battle begins I will make my move." V said with an evil glint in his eye. V didn't smile.

"Mwiba and Umeacha will pay. I will return these lands to there rightful leader. There will be a few complications, but it's worth the risk."

"And who might that be?" Asked Salem.

"Right now... I can only say one." V said

"Who amoung you..."

(( From now on if I NPC Mwiba, his posts will be normal and Nabus will be bold ))

The sun started to rise, Nabu awoke knowing it would be the final time that he would see it in friendly territory,
"Iya wake up, it's time to leave" Nabu said sadly, after a few moments, they were both awake and leaving, "Thank you for coming with me Iya, it means a lot to me" he said nuzzling her

Mwiba awoke at the dawns break, noticing Nabu and Iya already leaving he had to act fast
"Nabu, Iya, were are you going" he asked
"As you instructed father, we are leaving"
"No your not son" Mwiba said commandingly "You are to stay here, I have bigger plans for you" Mwiba said, a grin appearing on his face
without concious though nabu replied "Yes Father"

A.J glanced to his right and saw V, Salem, and the gorillas come into the grasslands. "I knew you could do it V, I knew it." he said to himself. He turned his head to Kadoo. "when this finishes, everything will be back to normal. We can get back to the lives we once knew so well. Or in my case, a totally new life. A much better one than before, and you know why it's better? Because I'll be with you, and that. Is all that matters to me." he nuzzled Kadoo and closed his eyes, while smiling.

Mwiba turned and walked away from Nabu.
"Part one begins." He thought.

Mwiba led his army forward.

"And your all that matters to me." Kadoo said.

"Well except for my cubs, and my father."

V moved forward with Salem.
"Umeacha, we will fight with you." Salem said.

V looked at the other side of the flood river. Seeing Mwiba, and his small army he was unimpressed, but soon after his army was multiplyed. Aparently he'd been searching for more pride and corrupting them with his 'Deal with the Devil' style of speech.

They watched Mwiba's evil laugh, as his men crossed the river.
"Heh heh heh, ha ha ha, Ha Ha Ha, HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!"

"Well, obviously." A.J laughed. "on that matter, I'll need to meet your cubs after this, I haven't seen them yet." he looked back down at the battle that was about to take place. "I think we should join your father in battle, don't you?"

[Nakisisa]

Nabu left Iya's side, following Mwiba into battle, today was going to be fun, "Father may I have some command" Nabu asked dreading the answer, hoping that his father would say yes

"No I will." Mwiba said.

"Today this land will be ours! ATTACK!" Mwiba yelled.

"We left the cubs back at the swamp, lets go." Kdoo said.

Just as she said that, Mwiba's army seemed to multiply, as if he had a never ending streem of men. The lions cheetas gorillas leopards and whatever else was unfortunate enough to find themselfs in the middle of the battle seemed to be dying left and right.

"Oh He'll no." V said as he charged into battle.

"Yes father" nabu said slightly disapointedly running into battle with 3 lions following him, the three that had captured him, he ran into the heart, searching for familiar smells, he found two, AJ and Kadoo, 4 on two, this would be easy, seeing them just talking he knew what he would do, quickly shouting to his guard he advanced alone, roaring, looking fierc he stood infront of AJ and Kadoo,
"Surrender, Or, Die" he said to them, emotionless, his guard coming up behind them (AJ & K)

A.J was about to run into battle when he was stopped by another lion, which turned out to be Nabu.

"surrender, or die!"

A.J growled and unsheathed his claws. "I know I should've never trusted you. Right from the beginning I should've killed you, I didn't, and now here is my chance to. Unless of course you want to reconsider what you are going to try and do. The key word there being try." he glanced back and saw three other lions come up behind him and Kadoo. He turned back to Nabu. "how about we make this fair, just me against you. Simple."

"I can't beleave you! How could you do this?" Kadoo didn't notice the three behind her.

V weaved through the fighting and found Umeacha.
"First move is mine." V snuck up behind Umeacha while he was fighting, one quick stab in the heart, and Umeacha fell.
Only one onlooker saw what had been done.

Kadoo moved closer to A.J. more scared than angery.
"Why are you doing this?" She asked.

"Dont worry Kadoo, I'll find a way to defeat Nabu, it'll be alright, because as long as we're together, nothing will break our spirit." A.J whispered reassuringly into her ear, while also keeping and eye on Nabu. He turned his head to Nabu. "you may think that me being able to defeat you, is impossible. No. Because impossible is nothing."

Kadoo looked at A.J.
"Your right A.J." She wispered.

"Men!" She called to her men. A few who were finished fighting ran up to her.

(( don't know if this is actually possibble but ohh well ))

"Ohh it looks like we have ourselvs a fight unless," *whistles twice short and once long* "You want to watch her die" he said as two of his guard jumped onto kadoo forcing her to the goround and nabu walked over to her the other guard seperating nabu and AJ, he placed one paw on her muzzel so she couldent cry for help, and placed another paw slightly away from her throat, a single claw unsheathed, as more lions came to watch and protect the proceedings
"You still sure you want that one on one? If you do I might slip" he moved his paw so it almost touched kadoos neck "and kill her" he said a maniacial smile on his face, just behind AJ he noticed someone attacking Uchema, killing him, his smile became even more evil

In essence, they had won.

V tried to slink his way through the war, occasionaly stopping to fight.
He worked his way over to Mwiba, he tried to kill him the same as Umeacha, but he had seen him.
"D@*$% it." V cursed.

"You'll have to do better than that V, I'm not as brutish as my brother, I am smart." Mwiba said. They fought savagly.
Blow by blow V and Mwiba became more and more enraged, until... V put a single lucky claw into Mwiba's left temple. As V pulled out his claw Mwiba uttered his last words... "Tell them.. my sucsessor will be... Barafu." With his last word, he let his breath escape his lungs.

Kadoo was panicking as Nabu put his claw to her neck. She started to cry when she saw the manic smile on Nabu's face.

A.J's face didn't falter, it stayed the same, cold, hard as steel expression. "like I said. Impossible. Is. Nothing." with that last word, he jolted forward and rammed into the guard seperating him and Nabu. The guard staggered back and knocked Nabu off of Kadoo. "Do you really want to be the cold hearted killer that your father was! Or do you want to restore the lands to their once great stature, because the ruling of your father was far from great!"

[Nakisisa]

"Never speak I'll of my father again" nabu roared "He was a better ruler than you will ever be" he roared as he ran forwards onto AJ, 2 guards following him 2 guards pinning kadoo again, "Call me what you want but try to move and she dies"

"Aww diddums, did i just insult you?" A.J said in a fake and taunting, caring voice. "you know, i would really like to believe that your father was a better ruler than i ever could be, but it's just a known fact that, well, your wrong." he smirked at Nabu. "Live with it."

[Nakisisa]

""Take her back to the den, well deal with her later" Nabu said, "Guess what" he said turning back to AJ, I just did." as the lions walked off, Kadoo still gagged, "Now you live with it"

A.J looked at Kadoo and gave her an don't-worry-i'll-save-you-soonlook and then turned to Nabu. "Really Nabu, i thought you could do better than that. Looks to me that you can hardly even handle yourself without the help of some stupid guards. They're the ones who do the dirty work for you and you take all the credit." he was still indifferent towards Nabu. "So, why don't you fight me? Too scared?"

[Nakisisa]

"Ohh I'm not scared" nabu said snidely "But if I have an army, why not use them?" he asked, "And anyways what I have planned, I'll make you suffer so much that you'll wish you had ran away like the scared little cub you are"

((umm...I'm not too good at rules. Obviously no killing the other character. No seriously injuring the other person without permission? Basically, no god modding.))

"if you haven't noticed, I'm kind of, NOT a cub. Anyway, enough talking, let's get to it." A.J kicked Nabu off of him with his hind legs and quickly got up, getting into a defensive stance, claws unsheathed.

"If you wish to fight, then so be it" nabu said also addopting a defensive stance, flicking his tale to tll the guards to stand down, but beprepared when signaled, Nqbu got the first strike in, ramming AJ to the ground butting at his neck and unsheating one of his back paws he began to kick AJ scratching him, hearing some roars behind them he knew much of the fighting had stopped, andthey were watching them both fighting

A.J snarled and held back Nabu's unsheathed paw with his hind leg, while transferring all of his energy to the rest of his body and rolling over. It was now A.J pinning Nabu. "I did learn quite a few good moves over the course of being a rogue, and this is far from one of those good moves." he unsheathed his claws and started digging them into Nabu's shoulders.
