Part 2 Into the unknown

"I don't want to make you angry, but I have to help him." Kadoo turned her head away.

"He took orders to protect Jicho! His sister, and my mother!" She rubbed V's side.

"He's my uncle, family sticks together. He doesn't know I'm his niece, so don't tell him, My dad doesn't want him to know." She licked one of V's cuts on his shoulder.

The lion flinch when he heard the snake.
"Sir." He said, turning to Nabu.

A.J slumped to the ground, looking into nothing, his moth wide open. "I can't believe what I just said....I- I'm never -never going to forgive myself....V...Kadoo...I'm sorry for everything....maybe....it's me who doesn't deserve to live..." for the first time since he could remember, he felt a tear coming down his cheek.

"Oh don't say that. You couldn't have known." She came up next to A.J.

"Umeacha, my father, and V have a complicated relationship. Please don't cry." She licked his cheek.

"Th- thanks, but I still shouldn't have acted the way I did." A.J's body was still shaking out of shock. "Why...I don't understand...why did I say that?" he continued staring into thin air, wondering what had just happened to him.

"Ohh." Kadoo wraped her front paws around him, and kissed him.

"Now please, cheer up." She smiled.

Nabu was half listening to two conversations, one between the lion and the snake,

"Yes soilder what do you have to report?..." he would have continued but he heard something spoken by Kadoo,

"Ohh, That was unexpected." Nabu said supprised, "It wasn't common knowledge that I had a cousin, sorry, two cousins. Even my mother, who told me everything about my family, *even some secrets about father* " he muttered under his breath, "Didnt tell me about this" he said, once mire picking up nakis body, and walking to his cousins side,

Nabu said nothing, but he looked suprised, half watching his family, half watching the lion and the snake, with nakis body upon his back.

A.J blushed a little but smiled aswell. "I'll try my best to cheer up, and I'm sure I won't dissapoint you." A.J got up and stood next to Kadoo. "anyway, should we try and wake up V? Or keep him like this?"

"I don't know I kind of like him better like this...*laugh*" Kadoo said, leaning on A.J.

"I can't say I know when he'll wake up. Could take a while. Oh I know!" She grabbed something from her sachel.
She threw the dust in his face.

"Ugh! What is that!?" V said as he woke up.

"Burnt crab carcase." Kadoo replied.

A.J laughed at V's misfortune, while letting Kadoo lean on him. "Kadoo, that was sooo neccessary! Even I couldn't have done as well as that!" he smiled and nuzzled Kadoo. "I love you" he whispered into her ear then kissed her.

"Save it for later." Said V.

"What is this bothering you?" Kadoo started rubbing her head against V.

"*Small growl*, Get off." He pulled away.

Kadoo laughed.
"Yep liked him better unconscious."

"Come on, leave him alone cus, you know he's no fun" he said playfully to kadoo, "Can you walk V, or am I carting two lions on my back?" he said looking back at the lion talking with the snake,

"Soilder" he shouted "What is there to report?"

"I can walk!" V limped forward.

"How come none of you are angry? I thoght you'd all left me for dead. I would have." V cracked his neck.

"Ahh, better." He steached out.

A.J smirked as he watched V get annoyed at Kadoo for asking him a question. "I have to agree with you Kadoo." he turned to V and cocked his head to one side. "V. Why so serious?" he asked with a grin clearly visible on his face.

((sorry, slight reference to Batman: dark knight, but I had to make it ;) )

"*Sigh* It's useless, he's irrepresable." Kadoo stood in front of him.

"Relax I wasn't really going to hurt him." V walked toward Nabu.

A.J rolled his eyes. "Im sure you weren't going to hurt him V." he said sarcastically as he walked between Nabu and V. "just to make sure you two don't hurt each other, I'm seperating you, or at least I'll try."

"Why would i hurt him?" Nabu said to AJ, sniffing the air

"I dunno, i just wanted to say that. Err...yeah....anyway, we should get to the Amani lands now. What do you think?" he asked everybody, wanting their opinions.

"Shure what about?" Kadoo asked coming up next to Nabu.

"I wish somone would answer me."V was weak, so weak he could barly keep up.

A,J laughed "V. It was your own doing but i suppose i need to help you again. Typical, it's always you who needs help." he said jokingly. "So, what do you need?"

"I never need help." V started walking faster.

"I just want somone to tell me why everybody isn't trying to kill me." He lifted his head.

[Nakisisa]

"Guards, Perimiter Delta at 1200" Nabu said as the guards walked away still in the protective courdon, and Nabu and Kadoo had walked further away from V and AJ,

"Kadoo, this might hurt, but, who are your parents?" he asked a deep expression crossing his face, *sighing slightly* "We need to know, both of us"

A.J stopped V and put his paw on V's shoulder"Erm... Somehow, I think you do need help. Once again. Plus, we're not trying to kill you because we aren't all the same as Mwiba. We don't have no feelings for anything but ourselves unlike Mwiba."

"Umeacha, and Jicho." Kadoo said.

"Why?" She watched the guards move.

"Mwiba, wasn't always like that, he was just like you once. People change."
V cracked his neck again.

[Nakisisa]

"Umeacha, and Jicho." ... "Why?"
"Because sister, My parents are Mwiba and Jicho." he said, unknowing on how Kadoo would react, the guards finally assuming their protective positions, However the lion talking to the snake had disapeard.

(( Yes I know that technically they are half siblings, but that's to be explained soon, upon why I called kadoo sister ))

"I knew Mwiba was your father, but I didn't know my mom was your mom." She was confused.

"How could that be, we are nearly the same age?" She was looking around.

"Yes, people do change but usually not as drastically as Mwiba did. I don't know anything about his life apart from he killed his father and he banished his brother, so I can't really say much." A.J started walking but giving Kadoo and Nabu plenty of space to talk in.

[Nakisisa]

"I knew Mwiba was your father, but I didn't know my mom was your mom." ... "How could that be, we are nearly the same age?"

"I don't know, I think someone may have lied to us both, which is disturbing to say the least" he said nuzzling her as a brother would to a sister, sudenly he turned more serious, "Does Uchema know abot me?" he said worried.

"I remember when Nabu was young he acted just like you, he even looked like you." V said.

"He, Umeacha, Jicho, and I had what you call a falling out. He came out as he is, but his father had died. A the time we all thought it was our fault, until my brother told us somthing blaming Mwiba, seeding his need for 'purity'. He used this same bit of info. and twisted it to his advantage becoming king instead of his older brother." V sighed.

"A few months in Umeacha betrayed his brother and was banished."
