V quoted his father. He walked instead of running like the others.

"I can't say I like this, but fine." He ran forward. past Kadoo, and A.J. He leaped over to Nabu.
"Happy now." He said before he taped him on the sid with his tail.

A.J rolled his eyes while running. "See what I mean Kadoo, I don't know how we're going to cope with him." he said jokingly, as he increased his pace. "Come on! Let's go!" he shouted back at Kadoo.

S&!+" swore Nabu loudly as he suddenly stopped, pulling V back and allowing AJ and Kadoo to run into him, "Next time we go the safe way" he said as some of his pride were patrolling the area, "Rember do as I say" he said looking worse off than he did a moment ago, "Look sad and captured, that's the only way for the moment" he said looking around "Ohh B@!&*#" Nabu said "Theresmy father, this may get a whole lot harder, I'm sorry" he said, finding himself upwind

"Ah, Nabu I thought you went to the falls." Mwiba turned to Nabu.
"And what is this?" He saw A.J., V, and Kadoo along with Naki on Nabu's back.

"err, they're my prisoners" Nabu said, "I found them at the falls, and decided to escort them back to the den for being traitors" not mentioning Naki.
"Do you think there's anyone at the den who would help guard these traitors?" Nabu said seriously.

"NO." Nabu said forcefully, foreseeing an attack. "EXECUTE ORDER 0152" Nabu said looking at the highest ranking lion there

"But Sire Only the King can activate the 0152 comman..." said the lion Nabu had just ordered

"I SAID ACTIVATE ORDER 0152. THIS IS AN OVERRIDE OF ALL OTHER STANDING AND FORTHCOMING ORDERS UNDERSTOOD!" he screamed at the lion

"But Sire you..."

"DEMOTED. WHO'S THE NEXT HIGHEST RANKING LION?" He screamed as another lion came forward as the first lion retreated back to the ranks, the lion came up next to him, "sire" he said calmly, giving a single nod of his head, before he started screaming
"THE PRINCE HAS ORDERED THE 0125 OVERRIDE COMMAND, FORM UP, FORMATION DELTA"
All the other lions quickly changed into a protective cordon around the Prince, AJ, V and Kadoo "ready to move sire" reported the new second to the prince
"Very good general, lets move out" Nabu said calmly, as he looked back at V and Kadoo, "I thank you for your lack of faith" he said sarcastically, making his way to the new generals side.

1.I'm now king or
2. I hold the lions more lotaly than you do.

Shari's eyes shimmered with surprise at the sudden change of allegiances. A clever ploy he had to admit, this was bound to get interesting. Perhaps Mwiba's son wasn't as tactless as he had thought. His coils flexed in anticipation, he was honestly giddy to see how the situation would unfold. They'd better not try to attack him though, lest they had a death wish. He was still hungry, and hadn't eaten a lion in months.
Perhaps this obstacle will crumble on its own.
(Isn't this getting a bit out-of-genre here?)

"Heh heh, V, kill them." Mwiba said. V got in a deep breath.

"Yes, sire." He spit out the words. V stepped forward.
"I'm sorry." V jumped at the group. He fought them one taking hits one by one, until the dog piled him.

"V! What are you doing? Nabu stop them!" Kadoo yelled.

"Hmm, hmm, hmm." Mwiba laughed with his mouth closed.
"V your pathetic." The remaining lions Mwiba, walked past and hit them himself.
"Nabu your defiance is noted. I will punish you later." He ran over to the Amani.

"Kadoo, *cough*, Kadoo." V muttered.

Kadoo ran over to V.
"What were you thinking!?" She kicked him.
"You could have been killed!" She started healing his wounds, with what little she had.

"Your not helping, *cough*, by kicking me." He winced in pain.

"Your lucky it was nothing serious!" He was beaten badly, and cuts overlaped cuts.
"Just tell me, why?" She asked.

"Jicho, he has, *cough*, Jicho. My sister." V said.

Nabu stood in disbelief, his father had given the order to attack him, and his companions, then he attacked the lions protecting them, putting Nakis body on the ground, after Mwiba had ran off, he went over to V,
"And you called me a traitor," he said venemously, "You don't deserve to live" he said raising a paw with unsheathed claws, "If only it wasn't for that promise I made to an old friend, you would be dead." he said sheathing his claws, and lowering his paw, moving back to Nakis side,
"If only naki, If only" he said quietly away from the others, noticing the snake away from them, he spoke to one of his gaurd,
"You" he said pointing at a lion, "Go see what that is over there" he said pointig to the snake

I say I have only revenge to live for, obviously not a vary good reason to live, but the brothers are on my hit list, and also two among us." V's eyelids felt like they were made of lead.
"Naki, forgive me..." He fell asleep uttering three last words...
"Who among you."

"A.J. what's he talking about?" She asked,

Mwiba was well away from Nabu, A.J., Kadoo and V.
He ran into what he knew was the Amani pride.
"Ah, hello my new Friends might I introduce myself, I am king Mwiba." He continued...
"So what say you, to joining me?" He asked.
"Yes, we will join you." The temporary king of the pride, (A village elder) shook his hand. As it seemed there were two snakes in the grass.

A.J sighed. "Yes, he quotes me correctly. However, that Was before he tried killing us, before he took orders from Mwiba. I never did quite trust him, and that prooved to be the right decision. Maybe he can redeem hiself somhow." he walked to Kadoo. "Dont worry though, it's nothing to worry about for now." he said while nuzzling her. "I think now we should make our way to the Amani lands, no doubt that's where Mwiba's going."

Kadoo pulled away from A.J.
"How could you say that? He looks as if he's lost everything, and he never attacked us only Mwiba's men, or didn't you notice that." She tended to V.
"He's only trying to save his sister, after losing everyone else. That's why your so bitter isn't it?" She said to the (now sleeping) V. It was more of a statement than a question.
"I don't think either of you are helping vary much. You vindicate him without listening to reason." For some reason she was vary protective of him.

The white python rose its head as a generic lion under Nabu's command approached its coiled up form. Shari smirked slightly as he picked up the mammal's scent with his tongue, and with his natural heat vision he could see the body temperature rising as its heart pumped faster and faster. Fear. Oh how he relished seeing this emotion in others. With a disturbingly friendly voice he spoke up:
"Is there a problem?"
One wrong move was all he needed.

"He was attacking Mwiba's lions who were protecting us! It was on Mwiba's orders! Why would he take orders from Mwiba! I respect him, for I know he has lost much, but why would he take orders from the one he wanted to revenge on!?" A.J turned away and sighed, looking down at the ground. "I don't want to get angry with you, please, make sure I don't." his voice was now very shaky and croaky, almost on the verge of crying.
