All right, so I will provide a basic summary and then anyone that wants to correct me can be free to do so. A lot has happened since the first time this went up and running. =P
At the beginning, Scar had killed both Mufasa "and" Simba during the wildebeest stampede in the canyon, making this story slightly twisted from the one we all came to love. Now Scar and Zira have both taken control of the lands and Nala, the supposedly rightful queen of the lands, is being treated as if she was just one of the lionesses.
As the story progesses, a cheetah named Seleter, two young cubs named Sukari and Remba, a dashing and handsome young adult lion(If I do say so myself ;D) named Fire, Nala, and a loyal and the "git er done" lions named Charlie and Rok formed a group together in wanting to stop Scar and Zira from not only ruling Pride Rock, but also to keep them from destroying the lands and upset the Circle of Life balance with the hyenas.
Upon sneaking around the lands in hopes of surviving and forming a plan, Zira learns about the group and is furious at how Nala is associating with these outlanders, them having no place inside the Pridelands. Zira rallies the hyenas for a fight and one ensues between Zira/hyenas and the group,ending up with Nala and Fire getting taken hostage and Sukari and Charlie getting away with Remba and Sukari. Rok decides to disband the group to pursue other interests.
Meanwhile, Scar had taken Fire into an area where he could 'interrogate' the red-maned lion. Nala was held around a group of lionesses to keep away from the two of them. Fire was slowly getting mentally broken down, despite coming back with retaliations. Scar wanted him to believe that the only reason Nala kept him around is because he was like Simba in almost every single aspect, recognizing that Fire was one of the key elements to the group's strength. Yet, Scar got a surprise when Fire attacked the black-maned lion and then took off tumbling down Pride Rock, Nala soon following him down into the bushes.
While Fire and Nala are held captive by Scar, the remaining of the group (Seleter, Charlie, Sukari and Remba) wander off towards the jungle after they figured out that would be the safest place where Zira and Scar can't find them. Seleter is asking Charlie to teach her to fight, which he agrees to. On their way there they meet up with a male lion called Kikome, and after a few moments it turns out that Kikome is Sukari's father. Sukari doesn't remember because she is suffering a memory loss.
The group, now including Kikome, wander off to the jungle and find a safe spot from there. Seleter is speaking strangely about cubs, and Charlie comes to the conclusion she must be pregnant. Though he has no idea who the father is, he has a suspicion it is Fire. Charlie goes off for a walk to clear his thoughts, and Remba sneaks after him. Eventually Charlie ends up with an injury in his paw, and Remba gets lost.
Seleter gets separated from Kikome and Sukari, and she runs off to find Charlie while Kikome and Sukari try to find Remba. Seleter finds Charlie, and after Seleter worries herself sick and Charlie blurts out his suspicions about Fire being the father of her cubs, Seleter reveals her secret. She indeed IS pregnant, and the father is Scar. She does not tell anything else than that it happened before she met the group, hence her cub could be born very soon. She swears she wants Scar to die, and explains she wants Charlie to teach her, and her cubs, to fight so that they can survive when everyone finds out who their father is.
Meanwhile Kikome manages to get himself tangled up in some vines. Sukari and Remba help him out of the vines, and Sukari finally remembers Kikome is her father. The two then leave Remba alone.
Seleter and Charlie, having heard Kikome's call for help, begin their slow travel to where the call had come from. Kikome then suddenly appears with Sukari, and explains Remba is close by, before disappearing with his daughter again. Seleter and Charlie are angry, and they take Remba with them.
Seleter, Charlie and Remba meet a stranger lioness called Afya. At first they think Afya might be one of Zira's spies, but on closer inspection they find out it is not so. They take Afya with them and go get Charlie's injury cleaned.
Afya leaves soon enough though and finds a cub called Kyto. Zira finds them, and decides to play around with the two... except that they run away. Too bad that Zira has nothing else to do and decides to track down the two.
Charlie has hallucinations and Seleter and Remba fear he's going to die because of the blood loss. Seleter manages to calm him down though and the hallucinations go away. It is then when Seleter feels her cubs kick for the first time.
It is then when Kikome and Sukari return. Charlie unleashes his rage at Kikome for leaving Remba all alone, and Seleter does nothing to stop him since she pretty much agrees with Charlie. Kikome apologises, and then takes Sukari so that the two can rest a tiny bit away from the rest of the group. Charlie promises to protect Seleter, Remba and Seleter's coming cubs as well as he can, and Seleter reveals she has feelings for Charlie.
Kikome and Sukari catch a scent in the air, and they trail off to check it out since Sukari recognized the scent as a threat. Kikome meets Zira on top of a hill just outside the jungle. Kikome attacks Zira, but she does not attack back. It turns out that they are siblings, which makes Zira Sukari's aunt. Sukari runs back towards where the rest of the group is while Kikome and Zira talk.
Charlie trails off after Kikome to check out what the thread was, and finds Sukari. He brings the cub to Seleter, and then leaves off to check on Kikome in case help is needed. When Seleter hears Zira is nearby she takes Sukari and Remba and runs deeper into the jungle.
When Zira and Kikome are done talking, Zira leaves. She now knows where the group is, and though Kikome did say he would stop her from getting to them she would still try. But first off she needs to clean a wound she got while fighting with Kikome, and after that she would need to deliver the news of the group's location to Scar.
In the jungle Seleter and the cubs are ambushed by hyenas. Seleter tries to fight and protect the cubs, but she simply has no skills nor the power to defeat them. Fire and Nala reach the group at this point after escaping from Scar.
Kikome and Charlie come to the rescue and defeat the hyenas, but Seleter has already panicked and her instincts take over her actions. She gathers both Sukari and Remba close to her and hisses at everyone who tries to come near, even after the hyenas are defeated. It eventually takes a bite from Sukari to snap Seleter back to senses, and after she realizes things are all right she passes out.
Kikome then decides to take Sukari, Remba and the unconscious Seleter with him, leaving the group to trail behind. They are out of the jungle now and Sukari is cleaning Seleter's wound.
Charlie, Nala and Fire - accompanied also by Afya and Kyto (I'm not completely sure how they joined in again... sorry ^^
- are pondering what to do until Charlie "takes command" and trails off after Kikome.
And... that is pretty much where we are at the moment.
