Practice for awesomeness

[Kolma]

Kolma stalked through the tall, dry, brittle grass of the savannah. The herd of gazelles were grazing peacfully a few yards ahead, un-aware of the danger they were in. Moving was difficult without making any sound, and the dry season of summer didn't help as the heat continuously sucked the energy our of everything on the planet. Kolma targeted the closest Gazelle, and stepped sideways to get at a good angle. With much excitemant, Kolma bunched up his haunches to spring.

Tura trotted through the savannah with her sister, Malaika, following. Her ears perked up at any slightest sound as she slowly weaved around the bushes. "Tura, I see gazelle!" Malaika called. Tura glanced down at her sister then over to where there was a large herd. "Very good Malaika." Tura praised nuzzling the cub. "Now, which one shall I hunt?" Tura asked. Malaika paddded forward a little then pointed at the largest. "That one." She said in a matter of fact tone. Tura nodded then crouched down. Stealthily she crept closer to the herd when she saw another figure opposite. Tura watched it for a moment and decided whether or not to attack. Eventually she decided for it to come to her. "Malaika, come here." Tura hissed placing a protective paw around her sister.

Intent on his hunting, Kolma did not notice the lioness and cub. Suddenly the gazelle he was hunting lay down. How lucky was that!? A sitting duck! With a toothy grin Kolma leaned forward and sprang at the gazelle wth a triumphannt roar! But they were faster than they looked!!! His prey zipped to the side and sped off along with the rest of the startled herd. Kolma was shocked, and rather dumbly stared after them as they quickly dissapeared over a distant hill, his mouth gaping open and a priceless look on his face.

Oh and Tura, just on a side note, please put the speech on separate lines from the other text. It's a lot easier to keep track with speech and things your characters do that way.))
