( Ok well I wanted to try out a rp here before I jump on in to a real thing so I'll be using my chari Aminifu. She is in the chari section thing if you want to know about so uh here goes nothing... ;D)
Aminifu stretched in the early morning light and looked about her. She had been traveling for so long and her stomach was empty. Turning towards the sun Nifu began to walk hoping that the lands she was in weren't lived in. But probabilities were that they had a pride of lions in them who would, like all the rest, throw her out with out thought or feeling. After what was she but a rogue lioness who was in their lands eating their food? Sighing disgustedly Nifu kept going until she saw a heard of Zebras. Licking her maw excitedly she lowered herself and stalked the group searching for one that she could kill with out help or getting hurt. Finally with her gaze fixed on a zebra who seemed to have been a target before, for it had claw marks on its legs and was limping, she moved forward getting ready to rush in.

Byron walked with his head down. He was frustrated about what happened that morning. This was the first time a zebra had ever gotten away from him, and he couldn't get it off his mind.
"If only I hadn't jumped so soon, I wouldn't have gotten his leg." He thought to himself
He jumped up onto a rock and sat there. The sun Shone on his light brown fur brightly. He hung his black mane over his eyes so that it wasn't so hard on them.
"What I wouldn't give to go back in time and try getting that zebra again."
He looked to his right and saw a group of zebras, and was surprised to find that of them was limping, and had claw marks on its leg.
"YES!," He thought to himself, "this time I'll get it for sure."
He jumped off his rock and crouched down low into the grass. He slowly crawled over the the heard of zebras.
"Ok," he said, "you're mine this time."

After a brief moment a twig snapped beneath Aminifu's paws. Oh crap I think they heard me, go for it then... She though and raced forward from the long grasses. A pale golden streak.
"No you don't!" she grunted as she ran panting lightly with the exertion.
Dust flew up in the air as the herd was suddenly aware of the danger and took off the she had picked lagging behind ever so slightly. Groaning she realized that if she didn't catch a Zebra then she would be in a very bad position. The lioness pounded on for what seemed like forever.
She was just a few strides away...

Byron was only a few steps away from the heard. He was still low in the grass, and tried his best not to make a sound. He found his target and stopped, waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike. Right when he was about to strike he heard a crack, and the heard started running.
"That couldn't have been me," he said, "I wasn't even moving"
His eyes were still locked on his zebra from earlier, and he sprinted towards it. His claws dug into the ground with every step.
"Not much further now," he told himself."

As I prepared myself to launch onto the Zebra I heard something behind me, so as I leapt I......
........missed the Zebra receiving instead a kick to my shoulder that sent me tumbling through the dusty air and into something rather soft and warm. Getting to my feet slowly and trying to ignore the throbbing in my shoulder I turned to see what I had hit.
"Oh, Oh gosh I'm so sorry are you hurt?!?"
I cried upon seeing it was a male lion. As I went to take a step towards him to see if he was ok my shoulder throbbed unbearably and instead I nearly fell on my face.
"Your not hurt too bad are you?"
I asked in a worried tone hoping I had only caused him to lose his meal and not one of his legs or his jaw.

Byron felt that he was close enough to his target, so he jumped at it. In mid-air he was suddenly struck by something rather large. he fell on his back and his head snapped backward, hitting the ground hard. Everything went black for a second or too.
"Oh, Oh gosh I'm so sorry are you hurt?!?"
His vision was blurred and he was dizzy but he could make out that it was a lioness that had hit him. He picked himself up, but his head throbbed so bad that he lay down instead.
"Your not hurt too bad are you?"
"No, I don't think so" Byron replied, "Just give me a moment or two."
Byron's vision cleared up, and he tried standing again. His head felt fine now.
"who are you?" he asked.

"Yeah just give me a moment or two" The lion answered my question slowly.
Sighing I sat myself down and looked at his face worriedly.
"Who are you?"
He asked me after a moment. I curled my tail around myself embarrassed.
"The name's Aminifu, I'm really sorry about ruining your hunt, um, lion."
I grinned sheepishly and slowly began to back away hoping the lion wasn't king around here. At the thought of him being king the fur on the back of my neck stood on end in fear.
"I...I guess I'll just leave now sire, I'm sure your lionesses are going to be here soon..."
I stuttered out hoping that I could make it to the nearest border fast enough.

"Sire? Ha ha, I'm no king, not even a prince. I have no royal blood what-so-ever."
Byron paused for a moment and laughed to himself at the thought of being a king.
"I have no desire to be a king, nor to be ruled by one, I can't stand em'. I live alone, with no one to tell me what to do."
Byron thought back to the pride he was in a while ago. he was glad he left it, and he was never going to go back.
"What are you doing out this far anyway? Don't you have a pride you should be with or something?"

Relief flooded through me at his words, he was not a king. I waited unitl his chuckling quieted down then thought about his question.
"Well, I don't belong to a pride, I left my birth pride due to its size. At first it was such an honor you know, they made me think that it was an honorable sacrifice to the pride and the king. Sacrifice your home life for the well being of the pride, but now I'm out here alone."
Gazing at the lion she wondered whether or not he would stay a while with her, it was nice to be able to talk to something other than a rock or bird or other species.
"What about you? Just another rogue I assume? Honestly I want a pride but none of the kings around here even let me attempt to explain myself before they ran me off, did the same happen to you?"
I questioned lightly hoping he wouldn't be offended

Byron was confused about what she told him. He had never heard of a pride that was so big, that they needed to get rid of members. The prides he had seen were ones that always wanted as much as they could get. He felt bad for her though. It would have sucked to have been kicked out of your pride, thinking that it was honorable.

"Yep, just another rogue," Byron replied, "I'd rather be a rouge than go back to my previous pride, I was sick of that place. I think leaving was best decision of my life. It gets kinda lonely living alone though, theres rarely anyone to talk to."
Byron got lost in his thoughts. He was thinking about life in a pride compared to how he lived now, but then he snapped back to reality.
"So how long have you been alone?"

I was going to join one before in one of the "mane" role plays, but the ones that aren't full are too inactive and I don't wanna post once and then have no replies, you know? I guess I could join the one that katili is going to join though, seeing as that one will be active now.

sometimes you have to wait Kat. Thats how things work on TLKGO.. Ok .. there are these 3 roleplays you can join if you want. Rogues Journey Those Whom lions Hunts Spirits Or a new fast rp Genie has put an idea up for, need 2 more members to say they interested, then it can get go ahead, but you need to at least post 4 times a week.. Black.. you need to go and post where kat has in Rogue Journey with a link to your char, its history etc. This 'First Try" practise rolpleay is now CLOSED  |

Those Whom the Lions Hunt really needs some more herbivores and like one predator.
