Afraid not, Mahewarac. Hold tight though. Remember he's having internet problems and at first it was only Nailyila that had applied for this RP, so it may just be he hasn't noticed yet.

He said he wants to make sure that new members will be able to participate as regularly as the fast RP allows. That's why he didn't let Nailyila in straight away. So, at a guess, I'd say he wants to have a word with you himself first. I can't give false garantees of course but I can't think of any reason why he wouldn't let you in. Hold tight and I hope to be RPing with you both soon:)

I know it's stupid for me to pull out of this RP so early, but I just don't see anyplace I can take Ubazazi anymore. If you look at the last couple of posts, while the others have gotten on with a bunch of action, Uba is just kinda sitting there. I just don't have any idea how to make four posts a week when she isn't doing anything, and I don't know how to make her do anything. I guess fast RPs just aren't right for me, maybe.

Don't despair just yet, Mahew: we just had a really super-intense part of the RP where a lot of things happened at once. It's hard for new players to feel involved if they come in at such a time because everyone's too busy to meet and greet. Things have settled down now though, so more opportunities will arise very soon.

That said, you picked a very ambitious character to roleplay with, I think:) It's a good idea, but in practice it's very hard to roleplay an obviously-evil character, because of the way other people react to you. For instance, when the panther attacked you on the log, if in the bio you had described Ubazazi as a sweet and innocent character, I think Ayesha and Judas would have probably jumped up to try and help you. They know Ubazazi is evil though (from her bio) so they didn't move, lol. It is very hard to pretend you don't know something, when actually you do:).

So, if you want to be a part of this RP, I'd leave Ubazazi in there for the moment, and make another character who isn't entirely and obviously evil. Try and think of who would be the best person to get involved with the other characters, join them on their quest etc. Roleplays are about interaction: you can't really roleplay if nobody wants to talk to you.

As an example off the top of my head: a character who grew up in the pride and knew Kesho's mum and dad (Queen and King), and who could talk to Kesho about it, would be a good character to get to know Kesho with. If that character liked Kesho's mum and dad, then he/she would instantly want to save Kesho's life, and they'd all be working together - you'd be in instantly. Alternatively, you can make a character that's completely and utterly rediculous, like Figgy in The Wanderers, that can't help but get under everyone's toes:) So long as you've got something to talk about, you're in.

The thing about this RP, I think, over others, is that the characters are a little more tense, the plot is a little more adult. So when a new character arrives and says, "hi!" Nobody is going to go, "Hi! Welcome aboard. come sit down by the fire and have yourself a zebra leg. So, who are you? What brings you here? We're on an adventure to save a cub's life. Want to come? YOU'RE MY BEST FRIEND!!!" They're actually more likely to charge at you with bare fangs and say, "Who are you?? What do you want? Well... tag along if you want, but we've got an important mission and you'd better not get in the way. And you'd better not hurt our prince." You are trying to establish an existing circle of friends. It won't be easy, but if you stick at it, it's doable:)

I've been following your roleplaying in other roleplays and I can tell you're pretty good, so I'd like you to stay and join in with our adventure:D Don't think you need to do amazing things in your first week. Just tag along, get to know the other characters, and let them get to know you. Maybe you can convince everyone over time that you're actually not evil, and then take the opportunity to strike. If you do it in a convincingly innocent manner, I'll play along, lol, just to see what happens.

And if you want to leave, just say so - with conviction:)

I agree with what Cheezeburger said Mahe, keep going its hard when you start into a roleplay, but we need your char I think she could make things interesting..

Hey.

I realized that things would be harder, my problem is not that she's evil. I just want a bit more practice RPing. The thing is, I'm trying to make her MORE evil, she really isn't DOING anything. I think one problem is that since I'm in a different time zone than a lot of you, a lot of times when I get the chance to get on 50,000 more posts have been made since I last was on and everything has already happened. I would love to be a the main villain, but a problem that you presented already is that unlike other villains, she depends on pretending to be good to get ahead, and I already ruined that. I don't think I could change her bio, because that IS who she is, but I kinda want to take a break. And the way the story is going, I just have no idea where to take her. I know this will make you resist putting me in any fast RPs in the future, but doing this has been less fun and more tiring trying to figure out what to do with her and trying to make my 4 post minimum.

I'd accept you, but we're currently stuck in a bad spot with this RP - one of our main characters has disappeared and we're not sure what to do with it. We'd also need to get a little further than this before we let you in, story-wise, because it's not a great spot for new characters really. Anyway I'll keep you posted, but don't hold your breath, because it might be a while. Thanks for offering to join though:)
