Tura froze and felt a great lurch in her belly. She watched as Zoba got up and began shouting at the murderous brute in front of her. Tura stood up and trotted over to them to play the peacemaker. She watched as Zoba scratched the large lion's eyes. As she hovered around another lion came along and started on the murderer. Tura gave in and padded over. "Hey, hey, hey." The young adolescent began. "Zoba, I know this lion is in the wrong but don't go mad. I know you were only being the caring creature I know you to be." She then turned to the murdering lion. "And you." She growled. "He may of been a threat to us but you didn't need to kill him." She eased her growling and looked at him sternly. She felt small being beside three large males. "Why do we all need revenge, he was in the wrong and if either of you two attack him you, you'll sink to his level." Tura murmured softly. She then glanced at the three lions and padded off to the shade of a large tree.

(OOC: My turn for writers block ^.^' lol)

[Lyonize]

The lioness stepped in to intervene. Zoba was glad she did. Sometimes all that was needed for situations to subside was the presence and input of a female. She looked at the murderous lion sternly.
"He may of been a threat to us but you didn't need to kill him."

Zoba looked at the white lion and then to the dark one.
"She's right. For now, we will put this behind us." Zoba turned around to go back to the trees. He heard Tura mutter something about him taking revenge on the dark lion and stooping to his level.
He laid down in the shade in a spot where he could keep an eye on the dark one. He was going to have to get along with him eventually if he was going to travel with them. But for now, he was just going to talk to the others and see if he could get to know them more. Looking at the lioness who had brought the zebra, he asked,
"So what about you? What brings you to Okavango?"

[Blackdrake]

"She's right. For now, we will put this behind us"
Once Zoba said this Zoba walked back to the trees.

Good that is one lion out of the way but I haven't heard the end of this Erico thought as Zoba walked to the shade of the trees and positioned himself so that he could clearly see Erico.

All of a sudden Erico went wide eyed as he realized what danger he was in. He didn't know if there were any more of his pride out there trying to follow him. Erico had to close his jaw twice before he could start speaking. Once his breath had returned to him he decided that he may as well tell them what he was going to do.

"I need to go scout the perimeter; I need to know if any more of my pride followed me."
As Erico says this he quickly turns around and starts walking away muttering to himself
"I should have known by now that the disappearance of a possible leader wouldn't cause an uproar."

(OOC - hey guys, I'm posting here at last! This  is the second time I has written this. I went to post it last time and my iPod crashed! Anyway just three quick notes here:
One - Nakisisa is not an enemy just inquisitive.
Two - To some of you, this opening may seem familiar.
Three - I am going to use another character who is NOT in this RP, this is currently a one shot mention, and I will update Naki's history when I next get the chance)

"So, a group of lions that have known each other only a few hours, somehow there is a common friendship between them and there's already been a murder?..." he mused to himself quietly. 
Nakisisa had watched the whole affair for hours from his hiding place in the shadows, downwind. He loved the shadows, they felt like a second home to him; the best part of it is he could hide in there and no one could see him, suppose that's why he loves hunting.
"I wounded how this is going to turn out, this all seems to familiar..." he trailed off remembering his past, he hated remembering his past, he had put it behind him, yet it still hurt.
He loved his life. his parents. Jata. Everything was going so well, he was about to become an adolescent, and a powerful one at that, But that had all changed, on that one faithful night, it happened, all because of..."

As Erico says this he quickly turns around and starts walking away muttering to himself 
"I should have known by now that the disappearance of a possible leader wouldn't cause an uproar."

"So someone had shared a similar past." he mused again. Against his better judgment, Nakisisa decided to follow Erico, he needed to learn more about him. Besides, it would be fun!

At that he chuckled quietly, hopefully no one had head him. He wasn't chuckling at the fact he would be stalking a lion. No that was easy, he chuckled at the fact he had to cross a area with a group of lions there, moving upwind, without them or Erico realizing! How Fun!

(OOC - OK the second wasn't as good as the first so I may change it a little later, on the other hand as I previously said, Jata was a one off appearance and I will update Nakisisa's history where appropriate, and when I get some time properly! Hope this works for you all! - OK changed the timing here and some spelling errors.)

The other lioness, she who had brought the impressive kill, stepped in to end the argument before anything else happened. In a way, Hagen felt relieved that he didn't have to fight. But in another way he was also angry that the murderer got away without having to defend himself and his merciless action.

"Why do we all need revenge, he was in the wrong and if either of you two attack him you, you'll sink to his level." muttered the lioness as she turned around to leave them for a shady spot underneath a tree.

"That's exactly what I said..." Hagen thought. Though perhaps not with those exact words... Either way, the storm had settled for now, which was probably a good thing. The dark male turned around to leave also. Hagen snorted and decided to join the bigger lion with the orange face markings and the other lioness under the tree. They at least seemed all right. Hopefully they were not also murderers or insulters wearing weird bands around their necks...

"I can't believe he just did that..." the white male said upon reaching the other two, completely disregarding the already ongoing conversation, and slumped down onto his stomach next to them. "I mean, who just goes up to someone and kills them? I can't believe it..." He let out a low growl and then rested his head on his front paws, the tip of his tail swishing back and forth to show his annoyance.

[Nakisisa]

Even for someone with his natural talent, Nakisisa was struggling. He was downwind form the murderer, but he had let his scent flow back towards the other group.

The main problem Nakisisa faced was the fact Erico was edgy, somehow his past caught up with him, and he had just killed one of his own.
God's, next time I stay watching the quiet group Nakisisa thought sourly. I mean it's not like he's...

*CRACK*

Curses. How did I miss that branch? thought Nakisisa after he trod on and broke a small branch More to the point how did such a small branch make such loud crack? after several more seconds another thought hit him. Did Erico here me? And what will he do if he finds me? Nakisisa ran. Trying to find the best, darkest cover he could.

But was it already to late?

Erico was walking in tall grass searching for lions when he realized he was being watched. He figured that his best chance was to let who ever this was think that he was going unnoticed.
He muttered to him self "If they are part of my pride then they will follow me where ever I go *sigh* I don’t--"
*CRACK*
Erico instantly looked to where the noise came from and saw what looked like a shadow run away. Letting lose a loud roar, he decided to give chase. He came upon a dark lion hiding in the shadows. Erico could barely see him but he know that there was a lion there because he could hear its breathing. Getting into an aggressive stance, Erico sighs then says in a threatening tone:
"Look I don’t want to kill you. You saw how easily it was for me to kill one of my own and if you didn’t know that it would be twice as easy to kill some one I don’t know and I would do the deed quick. So come out of the shadows… Now"
He reinforced his command by growling.

[Nakisisa]

DAMN IT. Nakisisa thought, so he had been seen after all.

Erico started walking towards him. He lowered his head, not as a Sign of respect but more to prepare.

"Look I don’t want to kill you. You saw how easily it was for me to kill one of my own and if you didn’t know that it would be twice as easy to kill some one I don’t know and I would do the deed quick. So come out of the shadows… Now"

As he finished Nakisisa began to speak. "Stupid Little Lion." he raised his head. Showing pure hatred in his blood red eyes, he leaped forward roaring threateningly, he had no chance. Taking he other lion by surprise, he pinned him to the floor, making sure his body was out of the way of his now thrashing limbs. Nakisisa put a paw on his throat, just beginning to unsheathe his claws he began to speak in a voice full of pain and aggression
"What makes you think YOU can threaten ME, And GET. AWAY. WITH. IT?" he added a little dig from his claws on every word he emphasized. "I have seen your ways murder" he spat out "I know how to beat you. Your not the only one with a capacity to kill. AND DON'T YOU FORGET IT." he roared the last part, showing who was in control. He relaxed slightly, knowing the other lion was planning. "Answer ME! What makes you think YOU can threaten ME, And GET. AWAY. WITH. IT?" Again he roared this, while raising a paw, claws unsheathed, waking for an answer.

(Sorry it's been so long since I've posted.)

"I can't believe he just did that. I mean, who just goes up to someone and kills them? I can't believe it..." 

Zoba nodded in response. He was just as frustrated as Hagen but he didn't show it as much. As long as Erico was around, the journey ahead would be difficult. But for now they would just have to bear with him. Zoba paused for a moment while he thought about what to say. Finally, he turned to Tura. He spoke softly so as not to appear to be criticizing her. 

"It's not revenge. It's justice. He must be accountable for what he has done. You reap what you sow. Somebody's gotta teach him a lesson or two." 

Zoba suddenly heard growling an shouting off in the distance. 

"Oh no. Not again."
Zoba said as he stood up and quickly paced off in the direction of all the clangor.

Erico was stunned on how fast this dark lion was. When he was pinned on the ground he knew that the lion was yelling at him but he didn’t pay that much attention to it he was watch to see if this lion would make the mistake that most do.

"Answer ME! What makes you think YOU can threaten ME, And GET. AWAY. WITH. IT?"

Once the lion had razed his paw Erico knew this was his chance to strike. Erico rolled himself into the one paw that was still on the ground knocking the new lion over. Once Erico was free he pushed the lion away from him. When the lion had hit the ground Erico didn’t wait for the lion to recover instead he jumped and pinned the lion and while he was at it he gave the lion a scratch across the muzzle. In a calm but threatening voice Erico said,

"I can threaten you because I am better than you. And if you think you know how I fight then you are mistaken, you have seen me fight one lion. A lion that if I didn't have surprise on my side he would have killed us all but when it comes down to it you have yet to see how I fight. I have killed pr--"

Erico didn’t finish because he saw Zoba coming towards them.

[Ushari]

The maneless lion Ushari trod through the woods, and sat at the edge of the clearing, watching the two of them struggle back and forth. He did not move when either one had the other pinned. He almost smiled when he saw Nakisisa, as the other called him. He moved exactly as the other had said he would. Perhaps he would be on his way as soon as he had left his message, he was no longer sure of his course of action.

But for the moment, he thought of the riches that could be gained in this, if he remained removed from the immediate situation. Instead, he could redirect the Jackal straight to the other one... or even this one, once he delieved the message. He sat and pondered what he would do, and how it would affect everything around him- he had to think five moves ahead, no matter what.

[Nakisisa]

"I can threaten you because I am better than you. And if you think you know how I fight then you are mistaken, you have seen me fight one lion.
No I saw you murder a lion, one of your own! Nakisisa growled. However he smelled something, no someone, someone he had not sen or heard from in a long time, so long ago he had trouble remembering who it was, his train of thought was interrupted as Erico continued.

A lion that if I didn't have surprise on my side he would have killed us all but when it comes down to it you have yet to see how I fight. I have killed pr--"

Hmmm. I wounded why he stopped? thought Nakisisa Is this my chance?
Quickly Nakisisa reversed the tables by using his hind legs to flip Erico, he remembered what the lion had just said to him "And nor have you seen mine." with that Nakisisa put a paw on Erico's throat and the other by it, one single claw extended.
"I can threaten you because I am better than you." said Nakisisa with mocking tone. Remember that?"

Now he understood why Erico stopped, he had picked up another smell and knew who it was, even though they had never met.

"Stay out of this." Growled Nakisisa. "This is between me and him, your blood doesn't need to be shed." Nakisisa growled pressing slightly harder on Ericos throat.

"Any last requests, Murderer?" Nakisisa couldn't help but keep the anger out of his voice. is this all going to end in tragedy before it has even began? thought Nakisisa. He hoped not but knew hope had no place with him. He realized who he had smelled,

"Ushari." he growled, spitting the name out like a curse...

[Ushari]

"Amazing" he said, amazed that Naki could even recognize his scent after all this time. "Phenomenal- you were still a cub" he said, keeping the conversation between them. "A message for you- Tojo's gone missing, looking for you. Nobody knows where he is" he said, with a glint in his eyes.

Of course, he himself knew where Tojo was- but that wasn't something he was about to tell Nakisisa. He could get a great deal of favors for reporting on Naki's location to Tojo. What Tojo wanted with this... child, he didn't know.

But he knew he was in a stroke of luck- he could report Naki's position to anyone in the Okovango Delta, and they'd pay hansomley for the information. He quickly sorted through the deals he could get through his various contacts...

As she lay there beside the other two she was about to question Zoba once more, when she heard the sound of fighting coming to her from in the distance.
Turning to the one called Zoba, she watched as his ears twitched and she could tell he had heard as well, she just waited quietly to see what he would do.
"Oh no. Not again.", and then she saw him rise and move, without breaking into stride, and make his way over.

Turning to look at the white male, who just lay there not seeming at all surprised by anything, Tura was curious about what was happening and rose to her paws, shook herself to get rid of clinging dust and dirt, and then broke into a run, trying to catch up to Zoba.

[Nakisisa]

"Amazing" he said, amazed that Naki could even recognize his scent after all this time. "Phenomenal- you were still a cub" he said, keeping the conversation between them.[/b]
Naki didn't need to look to see something was wrong, he could tell from the way Ushari spoke, even after all that time...

At that he did look up, slowly removing himself from Erico but still not giving him the power to overturn him...

looking for you. Nobody knows where he is"
Nakisisa was stunned, why did Tojo follow me, after what i had done? He began to think back to his past... But something stopped him, that glint in Usharis eyes were all to familiar, Ushari may be strong but he was a bad liar, always had been, from the moment they met, Nakisisa always knew when he ways lying.

Nakisisa moved with remarkable speed, faster than he ever had before. Reaching Ushari in an instant, Nakisisa pushed him to the ground. Nakisisa placed a paw on the lions throat and said in a whisper that would have scared even the most fierce foe, "Why Are You Lying To Me?" raising his other paw, "And why shouldn't I kill you, Here And Now?"

He heard a russell of leaves behind him "Stay." He commanded, "You have never met Ushari, he is a lair and deceitful, I wouldn't want you to fall victim to him." He growled the latter, as if pulsing to kill.

Ushari had minutes left, Unless he thought about what he had done.

[Ushari]

He was never one to be scared of death, and simply laughed at Naki's attempt to scare him. He easily pushed the younger lion back over his head, pushing with his rear paws. "You fool" he said lightly. "One, you killing me isn't going to get your precious Tojo back, fool. Besides, how do you know that I am the deceitful one?" he said, with meaning.

The last time he had met Tojo was a fortnight ago, in an abandoned part of the Deep Forest, that reeked of carcasses. Tojo had seemed quite odd there, like he didn't belong... and he most likley was on the run from someone, what with the odd clawmarks on his right hide. He seemed desperate to find Nakisisa, but in a cold sort of way. Perhaps he was just being calm so Ushari didn't kill him, but he wasn't all to sure...

"Naki, I would suggest you watch who you attack from now on- they may not be so forgiving" he said, looking to Erico. He didn't add that the only reason he didn't kill the lion on the spot was because he had saved his mother, and therefore him. Naki was all that was really left to him of his mother.

"Erico, I have some information for you too, if you'd like to take a walk with me" he added, then began to leave. He didn't want any more fighting here, he was done with it, for the moment. Perhaps later, but not now...

[Lyonize]

The first thing Zoba was met with was a feeble attempt to keep Zoba out of what was going on.

"Stay out of this. This is between me and him, your blood dosent need to be shed, nor the rest of you. I have not sunk to his level, nor will I ever. But if you do anything you are disrupting Justice, what needs to be done must be done."

Zoba was infuriated. This new lion was almost just as bad as the other one. He had way too much pride and not enough experience to go with it.

Before Zoba could speak, he smelled someone else. It appeared that these lions knew each other. Zoba wasn’t sure what was going on and he wasn’t sure if he wanted to find out. He had had enough of this.

“You. Get off him.” Zoba said to the one lion that was pinning the other. “Why don’t we all just start over?”
Zoba was hopeful that this might all get sorted out and everything would be clear.

Tura sighed softly. Swiftly she followed Zoba onto the scene. "Now what's going on?" She wailed, a frown forming on her lips. She went to Zoba's side and sat down gazing from one face to another. Her violet eyes sparkled as she mulled over whether or not to interfere

Knowing that he just escaped a painful death Erico let out a deep sigh. As soon as Naki had gotten off of him, Erico stood up and looked at the new lion.
If I am ever going to get away from killing then I would place my hopes with the first lions I met... his train of thought was severed when Ushari addressed him
"Erico, I have some information for you too, if you'd like to take a walk with me"
Thinking out loud Erico muttered
"This might be against my better judgment but i will follow."
When he finally got his tired legs moving, the wind beaten and travel tired, Erico trotted toward Ushari wincing at every step. When he finally caught up with him, Erico asked,
"OK, Now what is this information? And give it to me quick."

[Nakisisa]

He removed himself from Ushari. However Nakisisa was annoyed. A murderer and a liar, his past and future? all the same?
Why does my past follow me? Nakisisa thought.

“Why don’t we all just start over?”
"If you can change the past..." Nakisisa began, he quickly stopped himself. a brief look of sadness flashed across his face as he thought Then i wouldn't be here, and Ushari... well that's another story, Ill get the truth for him one day

"ill be back, i need to be alone. if you need me, which you won't, Come find me."
With that Nakisisa turned and started to walk out towards the heart of the Okavango.

he didn't know what he would find, He didn't care. all he knew is he needed to be away from the rest of the group.

He needed to be away from Ushari

Tura watched Nakisisa padded off. She deliberately ignored his comment on noone needing him and followed him keeping a short distance away. She bowed her head and slowed her pace so she could hear him if he said anything. She knocked a pebble slightly but ignored it and kept following when he reached the open area she glanced behind her. Noone. "Who's Ushari?" She asked, trotting closer to him. She then gazed behind her as she heard another twig snap, She turned to see a large white lion standing there quietly. "Tiwaz?" She whispered.

Tiwaz stood in the shadows and glared at Tura. "It's been a while." He said coldly padding towards Tura. He felt a sharp pain but ignored it since he knew it was the star. Tiwaz froze a few steps away and glared at Tura. "You haven't changed have you." He growled lowering his head aggresively. "Don't start Ti." Tura growled prowling forward. Tiwaz flexed his claws and got ready to pounce. Before he could attack Tura she had sank her teeth in his leg. He yelped in pain and lunged for Tura who neatly dodged it. "I did warn you." She spat. Tiwaz growled and went to pounce again.

[Ushari]

Ushari sat down against a tree, nursing the wound on his shoulder. He may have been a bit childish with the way he had treated the group, but he would do whatever is neccesary to keep as many lions alive as he could. Obviously, he had motives for this, but he wasn't going to reveal them yet- he had plans for these lions, big plans.

"Now, Erico, I want to make sure I have the right one here before I begin giving you information that may not be yours" he said. He already knew that Erico was the one he wanted, but he wanted to know how much background he'd have to give the younger lion. "I need you to answer a couple simple questions for me- your mother, father, and a quick rundown of your history since you left ah- since you left... your family" he said. Wrong lion- he had almost told Erico he was raised by hyenas- that would have had some dire consequences indeed

[Blackdrake]

"Now, Erico, I want to make sure I have the right one here before I begin giving you information that may not be yours"
At this Erico grinned.
"I need you to answer a couple simple questions for me- your mother, father, and a quick rundown of your history since you left ah- since you left... your family"
Before Erico could respond he started laughing. But as his laughter died down he finally found the breath to respond.

"Hahaha... My Mother and Father... they are.. Well let’s say I just don't want to talk about what happened. But if you need to know my parents trained me to kill. To kill what ever I was told. As for a quick rundown of my history since I ran away.. I ran away three days ago and have been running for the entire time, then I stumbled upon this place and foolishly fell asleep, giving my *cough* brother time to catch up to me. Knowing that he would kill me and all of the others I killed him first. If that doesn't answer all of your questions then be a little more specific."

Satisfied that he didn't give away too much information Erico sat down waiting for a response.

[Ushari]

"Simple enough" he said. "I was told to deliver a message if I ever ran across you- Sheeba still lives, and she seeks you. That's all I was given" he said. He began to walk away when he stopped for a moment.

"One more thing- there's now a price on your head for killing your brother. Anyone who kills you is to become king of the Southern Lands. Looks like you've made some powerful enemies" he said, then left without another word

[Nakisisa]

Nakisisa heard the fight Going on behind him, he was still wounded from erico, he is a strong lion, I'll have to watch him, anyways back to the present.

He was torn, should he help Tura? the only one of them that had followed him? Or should he walk away and let destinay take it's course?

"I'm going to regret this." he turned around and ran to Tura's side, lettig out a mighty roar, asking the other lions for help. I hope they come. He turned his attention back towards the fight.

"Leave her alone NOW" he growled, agaian hatred filling his eyes. But this time they were more fierce than ever. He was trying to save a friend.

"Explain yourself, and quickly." the last foment was direced at the new lion.

[Lyonize]

Zoba could not believe what was going on. Some groups were not worth tangling with and this was one of them. Zoba had better things to do. He came to Okavango to look for his brother and tagging along with this group was not helping him. He turned his eyes to the white lion and then to the rest of the group. He would have quite a story to tell Uriah when he found him.

Without saying goodbye, Zoba turned and left. He headed toward a chain of dry islands amongst the wet marshlands.

(I'm pulling out of this RP. Good luck with it those who are left.)

Tura glanced up as she threw Tiwaz to the ground. She watched, wide-eyed as Zoba padded off. So this is what had occured due to everyone carelessness. She wanted to run after Zoba to apologise but he was already to far gone. "I'm sorry Zoba." Tura whispered.

Tiwaz watched as Tura pulled away from him. Now was his chance he ignored the other lions present and turned and dived on Tura tearing at her fur. There was a strangled yelp from the lioness then her eyes slid closed. She's not dead. He thought. But at least she's out cold and I can now finish her off. His eyes glinted and he raised a paw for the deadly swing

[Nakisisa]

"I said leave her!" roared nakisisa angrily. He jumped towards the lion, knocking him of his feet. i've had enough of this, although it is quite ironic..... his thought trailed off as he moved on top of the lion,
"until she awakes, you will not move, nor will you speak. She has the right to defense, that is what I am doing. I will defend her to my last breath, as I would do the same to you." he punctuated his comments by unsheathing one singal razor sharp claw.
"Now we wait."

A movement caught his eye in the distance, it was a lion, but who? "Ohh Gods NO!" nakisisa muttered under his breath "Zoba, no! Don't leave!" he shouted, he was already to late.

Zoba was gone

[Ushari]

Ushari watched the current fight between Naki and who he knew to be Tiwaz. He almost allowed himself a smile, but withheld. It wouldn't do for a lion in his position. Instead, he climbed up to a low branch, and watched the drama unfold from above

Tura sighed in defeat. Wherever she went Tiwaz would always find her. Silently she slapped Tiwaz across the face and darted away. "This haven is no more." She sighed to herself.

Tiwaz started at the slap Tura did, snarling he raised his hackles, kicked the other male, winding him and chased after Tura.

(Tura and Tiwaz are no longer is a part of the roleplay, we can't continue with only 3 or 4 of us and I'm still deciding whether or not to quit TLKGO. Sorry guys x.x)
