"Kill him"
Scar's orders rang in Shenzi's ears as she chased after the little lion. Her strong legs pounded the ground as she sprinted, already tasting Simba in her mouth. Banzai and Ed followed her, all of them growling and snapping at the cub.
"Heheheheh" He gasped, running with all his might. He had a look of pure fear on his face, half from being chased and half from the recent death of his father. They entered a gorge, the hyenas getting closer and closer.
I got 'im. Shenzi thought as they approached a huge rock wall. Simba jumped onto the rocks, trying to climb away. He was just about to enter a small opening. NO! With one last burst of speed, she leaped at him, her jaws open wide.
They enclosed around the cub's body. She could hear the snap of bones as she crushed them, and his warm blood soaked her teeth.
"EEH!" Simba cried, and then fell limp. She dropped the corpse on the ground. The little face in the gory mess was so young, so innocent, loving almost. What have I done? Shenzi thought in horror.
The prince was dead.
Scar was king. .....................................
It was a beautiful day in the Pridelands, the birds singing and the rolling grasslands blowing in the wind. The sunset set off a gorgeous light show, exploding in a rainbow of yellows and oranges. It was truly the ideal place to live. The lions of the royal pride, lead by their honored king, went into their cave to go to sleep.

Scar sat at the peak of pride rock, the soft wind ruffling his fur. He gazed at the vast palette of colours swirling in the sky and grinned, still triumphant over his victory of many months ago. His ever-active mind thought back to that moment, when he announced the death of the king and his heir to the devastated pride. As the second in line, no one had dared question his gaining the throne, and he had immediately become their king. He remembered further back, to when he had killed the Lion King, his own flesh and blood, his brother. The memory of the king lying peacefully, ever-regal, brought a snarl to the brown lion's face. He had truly been a king. Still, there was no point dwelling in the past. Scar was now a leader, a ruler, as he had always believed he was destined to be. And with the integrating of hyenas into the pride, Scar knew that this was the coming of a new era.
Yawning, he rose off his haunches and followed the pride into the sleeping cave.

Nala opened her eyes yawning widely, she didn't want to sleep anywhere near Scar, as she stood up she saw King Scar enter the cave. As quickly as possible she lay back down waiting for a single sign that Scar was about to fall asleep. She heard the king lie on the ground, "pathetic. I'll never bow down to him!" She whispered under her breath. She glanced to the sleeping silhouette and made a run for the mouth of the cave. Just a little further and she'd be free, "Come on!" She whispered determinedly to herself, "Come on I need to get away. "Victory!" She said grinning as she stood on the peak of Pride rock
sighing deeply, she thought is this a place of beauty, or a place of torture and slavery?

( OCC .After this, we should probably wait for Nailyia so she can bring in Simba.)
Shenzi sat on a high rock, overlooking the Pride lands. Everything she'd ever wish for, to live in the Pride lands, to get revenge on Mufasa, she had gotten.
Why did she feel so wrong?
She looked down, seeing the lioness she once tried to eat in her old home. She was older, larger, and stronger now. Still, the more she looked at her, the more she thought about the old day. That made her thoughts trail to Simba, and...
Her jaws snapped on the back of the little cub, the warmth of his blood soaking her teeth, his little yelp.....
"GAAH!" She shouted aloud as she came back. The memory was so real, so clear, so terrifying!

Simba opened his eyes, they were weary and exhausted. He lifted his head slightly, but it was nudged back to the hard rock ground. "What happened?" He whispered to himself.
He got to his feet, shaking his dusty fur. He felt so tired. Like he had been asleep for months. His limbs ached with pain and he trudged through the barren valley, that looked so vaguely familiar. Simba couldn't remember anything... Nothing at all. He wasn't quite sure where he even was...
Simba stumbled through the barren valley and tangled his way through a thicket of dead thorns. On the other side was a small murky pond. Simba peered over to lap at the water, millions of thoughts racing through his head.
Where was he? Where was he to go from here? Where was here? Simba stood up, leaping in one bound to the other side of the small pond. He leaped atop a rock to overlook everything. It was barren to the horizon.
With a tremendous sigh, Simba lunged off the rock, bounding down hundreds of feet, to land with a sharp thud on the ground. He hadn't realized at all that he was atop a cliff.
Simba shook his paws, shaking the sharp pain away and began his long journey across the barren lands to find the first trace of a Pride.

Nala padded through the Pridelands as far from Scar as possible. She turned and saw that ahead of her was nothing but savannah grass. Nala lay down on the grass hoping it would cover her, she thought about her past the news Scar bought echoed in her ear, "Mufasa's death was a terrible tragedy, but to lose Simba..." Nala put her head on her paws sadly warm tears ran down her face and onto the ground. She shook herself to stop crying, "he's alive! I can feel it!" She said to thin air. "I'm gonna find him." She said determindly. She stood up again and ran into the distance and she'd not seen a single sign of life. "There's still time!" She cried words of courage to herself. The sun was beginning to rise she'd been running for a while and her paws and eyes ached with tiredness. She didn't stop though.
She had been running for a while now because the sun had rose fully. It was then she saw a figure, friend or foe she didn't care.

"Nala!" Kovu said, then jumped out of the whithered grass at the old lioness. An evil grin stretched across his muzzle. He waited for a while as his hyena bodyguards got the signal, and they climbed out of the grass too, circling Nala, grins on their saliva-dripping muzzles. "Scar sent me, Nala. Last night your hunting party didn't bring back any food. Why not?" He grinned at her. They had had this conversation before, and he could tell by the fear in her eyes she knew what was coming next. He wasn't Scar's muscle man for nothing. "I'm hungry. And you know I get angry when I'm hungry." He paused, then flicked out his great paw and grabbed her by the neck, forcing her head to the ground and leaned down to whisper in her ear. "You don't want to go the same way as Sarabi, do you?"

Shenzi looked across the plains, keeping watch. She spotted Nala leaving, and, without much else to do, followed her movements. It wasn't long until the Spoiled Brat came. The Spoiled Brat was her secret name for Kovu, the only ones who have heard her call him that were Banzai and Ed, the reason obvious. If Scar ever found out that someone was insulting his "Champion Kovu", he'd go ballistic. He treated Kovu like a GOD. He let the Spoiled Brat eat so much his stomach looked like it was going to explode before he let anyone else eat, never scolded him, never let anyone get in his way, and acted like the only reason any of his subjects were born was to serve him. Thus, that is what Kovu thinks. He thinks he is just about the greatest and strongest thing to ever walk the planet, and makes a couple of her pack follow him wherever he goes, because, and she's quoting here, "Some jealous commoner who wants to get rid of him out of spite that he's better then it may attack him when he's not looking."
It wasn't long before he knocked Nala down. He was saying something to her, she couldn't make out what, though he looked ready to attack.
The little yellow face lay covered in blood coming from a wound in his back that took up most of his body. The blood came gushing, covering him from nose to tail.....
"EEA! Shenzi yelped, the flashback fading.

Scar climbed to the top of pride rock, the early morning breeze crisp and cool on his face. He scanned the pridelands, spotting his heir bullying a lioness. Scar squinted. Was it? Yes, Nala. Escaping again. A snarl spread across the King's face. She had been the one to reject him, when he offered her the position of queen. His queen. She still kept talking about Simba, how she thought he was alive.
Yet Scar had seen the carcass with his own eyes. The bloodied cub killed by one of his henchmen. Or, as the case were, henchwoman. Scar recalled the weeks of planning it had taken him to organise his overthrow of the throne. The plan had been foolproof. Best of all, no matter how things panned out, the blame could never be placed on him. A stampede had killed Mufasa, the hyenas had been responsible for the death of Simba. Scar had been at the side of his brother, trying to save him. Out loud, Scar chuckled. Foolproof.
Scar strutted down Pride Rock, onto the savannah. He was in an unusually good mood today. Up ahead he spotted Nala and Kovu, with Kovu's own appointed henchhyenas. Scar grinned, Kovu truly was his heir. With a little more training, he would be ready. Scar walked up to the little party, eying Kovu with pleasure. He waited on the outskirts of the group, ready to help drag Nala's -probably- unconcious body back up to Pride Rock.

Simba had been padding on for hours it felt like. He was finally out of the valley and into the open yellow grassed savannah. He pricked his ears, open for an scents or signs of life. Somone he could ask a few questions of perhaps... Or maybe just travel along him perhaps. He heard something in the distance. Without giving it a second thought, he lunged forward in the grass, darting toward the voice. He skidded to a hault when he bumped into a dark colored lion who was holding down a light colored lioness. Simba growled at the dark colored lion. He sheathed his claws, realizing the situation at once.

Nala gave a yelp and tried to bite Kovu's paw. She looked around starting to lose breath. She saw a adult male approaching, she had a feeling she knew who it was. "Simba?!" She cried weakly she turned and saw Scar coming toward her through the circle of hyena's "Scar!" She snarled angrily. "SCAR YOU ARE THE WORST KING EVER!" She snarled looking up at him. With a final whimper as Kovu bit her she feel to the ground. unconscious.
Nala regained conscious and looked around. She saw Scar looking down at her, "Scar...or should I say King Scar." She said weakly, "I'll be your queen, I'll be the mother of your cubs and have them too. Or... shall I be Kovu's mate, the handsome strong Kovu. Have is offspring I'm sure they would be perfect any cubs I have with you OR Kovu." She smiled, all my plot though, she thought.
Nala looked in Scar's piercing green eyes, her blue eyes shining hopefully. "What do you say?" Say yes please! Choose who you want me to be mates with too though if you agree, Nala thought

Scar looked around in shock. Standing nearby was an adult male lion, who looked, somehow, familiar. Scar shook his head in rage. Obviously someone trying to challenge his leadership. He turned, facing Kovu, and gave a silent signal. "Kill 'im," he said quietly, in the exact same tone he had used to order the infant Simba's death so long ago. Just then he noticed Nala shouting at him. "You are the WORST king ever," she screamed. Scar nodded to Kovu, who bit her. The old female fell unconcious.
Sometime later Nala had regained her senses, and Kovu, well, Scar hoped he was on the trail of the strange lion.
Scar's eyes glinted as Nala seemingly asked to be queen. He hesitated though, there was something in her tone of voice.... was she finally seeing things his way? Or was it all a scam? Scar decided to play along. "Well, I think Kovu would be a little too young for you," he sniggered, "Therefore," he raised his head, "You shall be MY queen. Together we shall rule with an iron fist." He turned his lean body towards the direction of pride rock, then motioned to the hyena henchmen, "Drag her back up there," he ordered, "I have some business to attend to."
Scar turned and started walking the way Kovu and the strange lion had gone.

Vitani secretly followed Scar through the grass. She found it rather disgusting that he made passes to such a young lioness like Nala after Zira, her and Nuka's mother, had "mysteriously disappeared" about a year ago. At least, that was the story Scar told them. After Zira had gone, Scar never treated her like a princess or Nuka like a prince again. Suddenly it was ALL about Kovu. She had this nagging feeling that he was lying to her. He did seem to get progressively less interested in Zira for a time before she disappeared, maybe he.......
NO! Mother would want her to stand by Scar. By all costs, stand by Scar. Besides, it's not like Nala would ever agree to be his que-

WHAT!??!
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!" She shouted, and immediately covered her mouth. She didn't mean to say that out loud! Scar sent Nala back to Pride Rock. Vitani ran away as fast as she could, hoping Scar would tag her voice with her. It could cost her her life!

"Kill 'im,"
Kovu looked at Scar with surprise. Usually the king - his foster father -didn't get around to killing them until after he got to know them... and got to dislike them. Nevertheless Kovu bowed, then walked towards the lion, keeping his eyes half-closed regally. Maybe he could get to know him first instead. After all, Scar never said when to kill him.
"Greetings, traveller," he said, brushing up against the stranger's side. "I am Prince Kovu. Please, walk this way." He pointed out across the empty pridelands. "Our king is about to discipline an unruly hunter... rather unpleasant business. Would you step aside with me privately and... explain what you're doing in my King's pridelands?"

Nala lay in the royal part of the cave cleaning her wounds.so far so good she thought, now she had to be like Scar or else would give it a way. She put her head on her paws thinking, Scar had seen Simba and sent Kovu to kill him. If Kovu caught up with him he surely would be dead. She got up weakly and trotted to the mouth of the cave. She looked around and saw nobody. Nala went and sat on the peak of Pride Rock, she was worried about Scar, but more worried about Simba. She thought of Simba's dead body, lone and limp. Then she was worried about Scar getting killed by Simba, she shook her head gasping. No...she couldn't be? Was she? Did she? She was! She was starting to have feelings for Scar! "NO!" She cried out. She looked back over the pride lands and saw Scar returning alone.
"Scar. Did you find who that rouge lion was?" She asked running down Pride Rock to meet him.

Sarabi lay in the dark shadows at the back of the cave, her body still sore from the last beating Scar had inflicted upon her, all she had done was ask for something to eat.
Using her front paws to try and push her now weakened body up from the dry dirt floor, the older lioness quivered with exhaustion. At last she was standing and looking around she realised that was was alone, ..no Scar.. no Kovu..no hyenas watching her every move.
Keeping herself gently pressed against the wall, Sarabi slowly made her way to the entrance. Bringing up a paw to cover her eyes as the sun reached her face, she blinked a few times waiting for the sting to recede, then limping made her way down pride rock,, anywhere would do, just away from the hell where she had been kept prisoner for the last few days.
At last her eyes focused to her surroundings then she stopped with paw midair, she could smell them before they even came into sight... vile creatures...Dropping to the ground she lay in the tall grasses, holding her breath as they passed. They hadn't seen her they were too busy laughing while abusing Nala, dragging her along the hard ground, not caring that her skin was tearing against rocks and debris on the ground.
Letting out her breathe, once they had gone, she rose to her paws and slowly moved away. Just one glance over her boney shoulder she saw Nala dragged onto pride rock and throwen on the ground, not being able to stomach the violence she moved forward.
If I can't defend my myself, I have nothing to offer the others, they will have to look out for themselves the best they can
Finally reaching a shady outcrop, Sarabi exhausted already, lay there trembling. Resting her head on her dirty paws with ripped nails, she let a cry roll from her muzzle. "Mufasa, it's been so long, we've taken so much from Scar, is life worth living anymore, what are we here for besides his playthings."

The wind carried traces of a... a... voice? "Wha...? A... you. ...ing me?" It called out. Then there was silence. Scar rapidly turned his scrawny head in the direction it had come from. Was it a hyena? A lion? The savannah stretched out as far as he could see, however, and there was no one in view. He frowned, perplexed, then squinted. Was that someone in the grass? He peered out, gazing at the tall grass. Probably some bird, he thought, and yet... Who had been the voice on the wind? Who were they talking to?
Scar turned and kept walking in the direction his heir and the rogue had gone. They were up ahead. He crouched down in the grass, peering out at Kovu and the strange lion. Kovu began to talk to the stranger and lead him away, further across the savannah. He snickered silently, satisfied that Kovu would do his bidding. What a thrashing the rogue was sure to get! The aging lion waited until they were out of sight, and then turned around and began to walk back to Pride Rock.
As he was just approaching Pride Rock, he was greeted by Nala. "Scar, did you find who that rogue lion was?" she asked eagerly. Scar raised his eyebrows, realising just how rash he had been in his decision to kill the rogue. For all he knew, the male may have been seeking his glorious advice. Scar reflected on this with a growing sense of dread. Still, it was too late now. Kovu would have torn him to pieces. Scar sighed, and remembered the lioness standing before him. "The rogue?" he asked bitterly, rapidly becoming in a bad mood once more, "He will not bother us." Scar turned on his heels and started climbing up the mountainous rock. He turned to face Nala, "Get up there," he snarled at her, remembering her earlier obedience. Something was wrong. It must be another of her escape plans, he thought. The king had lost quite a few lionesses already to escapes, and he wasn't about to let this one go.
On the way up, out of the corner of his eye, he fancied he saw a lioness creeping away, but threw this thought out of his troubled mind.

Nala sighed and followed Scar slowly back up Pride Rock, it was then she saw an old lioness. Nala glanced up at Pride Rock, Scar was in the cave. Looking around she went to see if her eyesight had just tricked her, but it hadn't. Sarabi was hiding in the grass.
Nala padded toward her cautiously, "Sarabi? I've just seen Simba." She sighed I need your advice though. She looked around the empty Savannah, Nala dropped her voice to a whisper, "I loved Simba as a cub but now I've said I'll be Scar's Queen and I'm beginning to have feelings for him. What do I do?" She looked around quickly, Scar was returning. "Tell me later." Nala said running to Scar before he could comment.
Panting she reached the top of Pride Rock and brushed herself against Scar. "Scar I'll go hunting in a bit I know where there's some meat."
Nala nuzzled Scar then padded ahead into the cave.

As Sarabi lay there deep in her own misery, her thoughts turning back to when her and Mufasa were young and free and in love. A small tear slipped down her muzzle leaving a trail through the dust and dirt that covered her, from being forced to stay in the cave with Scar.
Again her mind flashed into memories of Simba being born and seeing him being lifted and thrown into the air playing with his father, running all around the pridelands as a cub playing with Nala... then blackness and despair came, and now thats all she had.
Sarabi lay there willing the tears to come, nothing.. just more heartache for the lioness. Suddenly she realised that while she had been reliving precious times, someone had been stalking her, and was now so close she could smell their scent.
She lay there not moving, she knew what would happen, she just hoped that maybe this time after the beating, she just wouldn't wake up, then she could go and be with her 'family'.
"Sarabi? I've just seen Simba"... bringing her head up fast, made her dizzy, but she stared at Nala standing there.. " Simba is dead, and won't be back ever, please don't do this to me Nala, I can't stand it."
Pushing herself to her paws she stepped closer to the younger lioness, as nala lowered her voice. "I've said I'll be Scar's Queen and I'm beginning to have feelings for him. What do I do?" Sarabi gasped at what she heard, and stepped back recoiling in horror ."Nooo, you can't, not him... not Scar.. he's the devil." Moving back, she tripped over herself in a hurry to get away , turning she ran on into the grass, not feeling anything even though it slapped hard against her muzzle.

Nala padded past Scar sadly, "I wish Sarabi could of listened and helped me. She is the wisest lioness in the pride lands." Nala murmered. Nala's ears pricked up as she got an idea, "Scar I'm going hunting." Nala said and she ran past him quickly. Nala followed Sarabi's scent to a empty outcrop. Looking around Nala saw Sarabi alone crying, "Sarabi listen. I did see Simba he's alive! Come with me. Trust me!"
Nala looked Sarabi in the eyes. Her blue eyes shining with hinesty and trust, "Please. Simba was and is my whole world!"

Shenzi sat in the cave now, not doing much of anything. For a while all she had done was do her best to stay out of Scar and the Spoiled Brat's way. scar came through, followed by Nala. They where discussing something about a rogue. Whatever. She didn't really care. As Scar entered the cave, however, Nala went to see Sarabi. What? Why is she goin' to see that old gasbag of a lioness? Following her, she crouched outside Sarabi's room and, perking up her large ears, listened.
Sarabi? I've just seen Simba. I need your advice though. I loved Simba as a cub but now I've said I'll be Scar's Queen and I'm beginning to have feelings for him. What do I do?"
WHAT?! Oh, this was just TOO GOOD! NALA? Have feelings for SCAR? She broke out in hystarical laughter, but had to hold it in when Scar came back. It was sure hard! Nala ran to join Scar, telling him she's going hunting. Righhhht. Hunting. Uh huh. Waiting until the lioness left, she padded up to Scar.
"I'll go after her, to make sure she doesn't make a run for it." Shenzi followed Nala back to Sarabi's cave.
"Nooo, you can't, not him... not Scar.. he's the devil." Sarabi said, before gallivanting out like a madwoman. Shenzi waited for Nala to exist. She went back to Scar, but used the same excuse to get away. The girl doesn't have much in the way of brains, has she? Shenzi followed her for a while, until she found Sarabi again, and mumbled something about Simba being alive. Right. Wow. She's not dumb, she's going insane. Shenzi entered the scene, feeling she has nothing to lose.
"Wooow, Nals, interesting choice in men! Can't say Scar's much of a charmer, but he's got you hasn't he?"

Sarabi kept running till she ran out of breath. how could Nala say she saw Simba, he had died as a cub, I saw it with my own eyes, I held my baby in my paws, my tears washed away his blood, part of me died the same day as he did.
Her ears twitched and she raised her tear streaked face to see that Nala had followed her. "Sarabi listen. I did see Simba he's alive! Come with me. Trust me!"
Frowning at the lioness, anger starting to rise, an emotion she had given up on a long time ago thanks to Scar. "Why should I trust you, why should anyone trust you.., you have supposid feelings for that monster, and yet you say my dead son, is your whole world.. forgive me Nala if I find that a bit funny."
Turning away from the lioness, she felt like she was going to be ill. Then her head snapped back around and a stench filled the space. "You say to trust you Nala... well, well, look who you bought on your walk with you, one of scars little trouble makers.... and listen.. she's even having trouble believing you as well, and you still want me to give you my trust... I really don't think so."

Nala became to feel upset, "if you don't believe me then fine! I'll go find him alone!" Nala turned to start walking away, Nala turned and faced Sarabi, " oh and Scar and Kovu saw him too. Scar sent Kovu to kill him." As Nala walked towards where she had seen Simba's figure yesterday.
It was then she came face to face with Shenzi, "what do you want." Nala snarled, "Wooow, Nals, interesting choice in men! Can't say Scar's much of a charmer, but he's got you hasn't he?" Nala glared at Shenzi, "“How do you know Scar’s not much of a charmer? You’re not a lioness. Also what do you mean he’s got me hasn’t he?” Nala sat glaring at Shenzi. She flicked her tail waiting for an answer. When Shenzi stood their watching her; Nala smirked, “hmmm…” she began in a mocking voice, “could it be Shenzi, Scar’s favourite hyena is jealous of me for agreeing to be Scars queen?” She scoffed and without another word she ran past Shenzi into the area where she'd seen Kovu and Simba dissappear.
Nala prowled around until she came to a barren valley with a tangled thicket of dead thorns. On the other side she saw a murky pond. "Simba!?" She cried out, "Simba!?!" Nala sighed and lay on the ground. She sensed a scent that she knew but she didn't care she was so tired. With afinal yawn she fell into a deep sleep.

Shenzi almost laughed at Nala's defensive argument, but stopped when she heard what came next.
"Ya know the reason I'm his favorite hyena? I'm the leader of my pack, which I became because I'm the smartest and strongest. And you became a leader because, oh that's right, you hooked up with Scar! What an accomplishment! Why the heck would I be jealous of that?" She stormed off.
"Stuck-up, spoiled little twerp."
......................................................................
Vitani lay in the corner of the cave. She had tried to avoid Scar for some time now. She couldn't say it was very difficult, since he spent all of his time with his new wife. She wanted to barf. The only thing she wondered was, now that Nala was queen, does that move her and Nuka even lower on the scale? She had lost her title as princess when Zira disappeared, but she still had some power, she guessed. But does she even have that now?
Finally, Scar was alone. She needed to ask him! Bending her knees to make her look shorter than him (he wasn't a very large lion, but wanted to be the tallest) she cautiously approached the king.
"Your gracious highness and my pride to be my father, now that you have the beautiful Queen Nala at your side," she ground her teeth. Queen Nala. Ugh. "What does that make of Nuka and I?"

Scar frowned as Nala dashed past him, "I'm going hunting," she called out, "I know where there's some meat." He wondered where on earth she was going in such a hurry. Scar was just about to call for a hyena to follow her, when luckily Shenzi dashed out after the lioness, "I'll go after her, to make sure she doesn't make a run for it," she cried out. Scar sighed in relief. If his "queen" was going walkabout, he knew that Shenzi would be the best for the job. As Scar's top hyena, and the one who had killed Simba, Shenzi really was worthy of Scar's praise. She set a fine example for all the henchhyenas.
Out of the corner of his eye, Scar saw a tattered lioness start to approach him. He raised an eyebrow cautiously. She seemed familiar... though the great king couldn't pinpoint why. "Your gracious highness and my pride to be my father, now that you have the beautiful Queen Nala at your side, What does that make of Nuka and I?" the lioness asked. Of course, she was Vitani, the runt of Zira. And... Nuko, Nuka, was it? Scar furrowed his brow. Of course, the scrawny male. He almost laughed out loud at the thought. Scar remembered Vitani's question. He thought for a minute, before answering, "Comic relief." He turned his back on the female and walked out of the cave.

Nala shook her head then prowled onward, sniffing she picked up the scent of an antelope smiling to herself she followed the scent. Licking her lips, Nala smirked and lay in the long grass, it covered her body but made her itch. The foal she had sensed raised it's small head and looked around. Nala prowled forward slowly keeping her prey in plain view. She began to pick up speed running toward the small foal with her teeth bared. Nala pounced and dug her sharp claws into the foal. It fell to the ground with a whinny. The blood of the foal leaked out covering Nala's muzzle. Nala pulled her teeth out of the small foal and looked down at it, smiling triumphantly.
Nala lowered her head and began dragging the foal back to Pride Rock. After a while Nala arrived she saw Scar walking out the cave, "Scar!" Nala cried her voice muffled. She climbed up to the peak and dropped it in front of Scar. Licking her muzzle clean she sat waiting for how Scar was going to react. After a while Nala frowned, "Scar...please stop Shenzi following me I won't escape. I promise."
She looked up at him hoping he would trust and believe her.

"Comic relief"
Vitani's blood boiled, her muscles tensed. How DARE he? Her father, calling her comic relief! That manipulative, selfish.... wait, her mother would want him to respect him... No. This was the last straw. He doesn't care about anything except his own gain anymore. Not that he ever cared for anything else again. She was taught that Scar's act of killing his brother was an intelligent and strategic plot, but now it seemed more sinister and sadistic. She would never kill Nuka for power.
She watched as Scar went to talk to his queen. Vitani sneered.
"Just wait, Nala, he'll get tired of you, and then it's kudos to you." She whispered.

Simba stood there, a low growl emitting from his throat, he wasn't sure who they all were, that stood around. One minute they were abusing a lioness, then they all scattered leaving him with this scraggly looking one, who was offering him greetings.
Stepping back away from him, Simba looked him over,He didn't seem much of a threat, but underneath that crooked smile simba saw hardness and evil starting to shine on through.
"I am Prince Kovu. Please, walk this way."
Simba reeled back NO..this can't be,..Kovu is my son-in-law, not this ..this.. pretender, what's happening, where have I gone
Realising this Prince was waiting for him, Simba slowly moved towards him, all senses on alert, he was in a strange land, yet in some ways it was still familiar to him, he needed someone to tell him what was happening yet not find out who he really was.
"Our king is about to discipline an unruly hunter... rather unpleasant business. Would you step aside with me privately and... explain what you're doing in my King's pridelands?"
Again another shock to his system, trying not to flinch, Simba digested what had now passed the lions muzzle. "And your King...who would this be ? I'm sorry to show such ignorance ,but I am just a wanderer, and drift from place to place,, I don't want anyone or anything to tie me down..such a boring thing responsibility..don't you think ?"

Sarabi lay there resting for a moment in the long grass,, she was trying to get her breathing under control as arguing with Nala had drained her of energy. She wanted to keep moving, to see how far she could move away from Scar, before one of those at his beck and call, would beat her then drag her back to her prison.
Finally she was ready. Raising her head slightly above the grass line, she looked around her, no Nala, no hyena, mmm looks like Scar doesn't trust Nala after all, no matter what she thinks it seems the hyena is there to keep tabs on her
Pushing her weary body up off the dry ground, Sarabi decided to follow where she saw the younger lioness dash off to, hopefully she wouldn't bump into her, she just wanted a little bit of freedom, and some peace and quiet.
On the older lioness moved, every so often she would stop and look behind her, her ears twitching nervously, she was still so afraid that Kovu or a hyena would be jumping out at her and inflicting pain. Bringing her head back around she could see ahead of her further, some sort of neglected pond.also the smell Nalas scent still hovered , but no sign of her. Letting a sigh escape through her muzzle she pressed on, slowly but surely till at last she came to the water.
Pushing through the long grass, Sarabis paws were soon being covered by water. Standing still she looked at the reflection that was mocking her. Was that really her,... that discheveled, haggardlooking lioness staring back at her. Lowering her lashes Sarabi plunged into the water, just wanting to wash away everything that was her life now.

Kovu narrowed his eyes, but otherwise kept up his politeness. Who was this stranger? "It's odd that you haven't heard of him, the great and terrible King Scar," he said. "Everyone this side of the desert is under his command. He controls not only these plains but the region formally known as the borderlands, the elephant graveyard, and the border up to the northern mountains. He is best known for uniting the hyenas and lions upon the death of his brother." He cocked his head, curious enough to put off his order. "Where are you from?"
